It seems that many people use a car to get to Churaumi Aquarium and Kouri Island from the area around Kokusai Street, but when I was wondering what to do since I don't have a driver's license, I found this bus tour.

When I actually participated on the day, the bus was large and beautiful, and the ride was comfortable. The bus guide provided explanations about various famous spots in Okinawa, which was very interesting.

Churaumi Aquarium, Kouri Island, and Manzamo were all places I visited for the first time, and I had a great time. The bus had partitions for COVID-19 measures, so I felt safe. If I have the opportunity, I would like to participate again.

国際通り付近から美ら海水族館や古宇利島に行くには車を使うことが多いようですが、免許を持っておらずどうしようかと思ってた時にこのバスツアーを見つけました。
実際当日参加してみると、大きく綺麗なバスで乗り心地も快適でした。バスガイドさんが沖縄のいろいろな名所について解説されてて、興味深かったです。
美ら海水族館、古宇利島、万座毛、どのスポットも初めて行く場所で楽しかったです。
バスはコロナ対策で仕切りもあり、安心できるかと思います。機会があれば、また参加しようと思います。

I participated in a tour of the World Heritage Site "Sefa Utaki" and the Gangala Valley.

It was a place that is difficult to visit alone, and I was able to spend a fulfilling half day there. I felt the essence of Okinawa, and it was educational as well.

It was a long journey, so I was worried that it might be boring, but contrary to my expectations, it was incredibly fun! The clean bus and stable driving, along with the charming bus guide's captivating stories about Okinawa and the pleasant Okinawan folk songs, made the trip enjoyable. Before I knew it, I found myself dancing along with gestures, laughing! By the time we reached American Village, I was exhausted, but everything was a perfectly balanced combination, and I definitely had a fun day! The weather was nice, which made me happy. I was able to learn about the geography, history, and dialects of Okinawa for the first time. We participated in the submarine tour with our family at American Village. It was great that we were picked up from our hotel in Naha, allowing us to efficiently enjoy sightseeing. I have also done sightseeing by rental car, but since I was unfamiliar with the roads, I made some mistakes, so I felt that taking the bus was much easier. The large bus had only about half of the seats filled, which made it comfortable. I thought the price was reasonable as it included the submarine ticket and the entrance fee to Churaumi Aquarium. Thank you very much.

サブマリン、アメリカンビレッジのコースに家族で参加しました。那覇のホテルに送迎して頂き、効率的に観光できてよかったです。レンタカーで観光をした事もありますが、知らない道の為、間違えたりする事もあったので、バスって楽だなーと感じました。大型バスで、席は半分くらいしか埋まっていなく、ゆったり出来ました。サブマリンの乗車券、美ら海の入場料も込みで、安いと思いました。ありがとうございました。

I stayed for three consecutive nights at Shigira Resort, but on the first day, the sky was heavy with clouds, and we had to postpone to the next day. The following day, there were still many clouds from the hotel, and I could only see one or two stars. My 4-year-old son was sound asleep, and I was wondering what to do when I called and was told, "The stars are out here!! Today is the chance." So, I hurried over.

I was amazed at how different the sky looked from the hotel! Going out with kids after 9 PM is quite a challenge, but the starry sky made it all worthwhile.

I created the best memories in Miyako Island. I understand that working with the sky can be tough, but I really appreciate the polite response on the phone and the photographer's efforts.

シギラリゾート内に3連泊していましたが、初日はホテルから見る空も雲が重く翌日に順延になりました。翌日もホテルからは雲も多く星が1つ2つ見えるかな程度で4歳の息子もぐっすり寝てしまっているし、どうしたものかと電話したら「こちらは星出てます！！今日がチャンスです。」と言われ急いで向かいました。
ホテルからの空とではこんなに違うものかと！
子連れで21時以降に出かけるのはハードルが高かったですが、そんなこと吹っ飛ぶ星空でした。
宮古島での最高の思い出ができました。
空相手のお仕事で大変だとは思いますが、電話も丁寧に対応して頂きカメラマンさんにはとても感謝しています。

On the first day of my trip, I arrived in Ishigaki Island in the evening, so I decided to take this tour to get an overview of the island at the start of my journey. The guidebook mentioned that reservations needed to be made by 5 PM the day before, so I couldn't book directly with the bus company from home a week prior (related to COVID?). I was glad to be able to make an immediate reservation through Veltra. On the day of the tour, there were about seven groups on the large bus, so we had plenty of space to sit comfortably, and the frequent hand sanitizing made for a safe and secure bus tour. The female guide's explanations were easy to understand, and she taught us many things we didn't know. Additionally, her performance with the sanshin and island songs was soothing. The driver was also very kind, which made for a pleasant experience. Since I didn't use a rental car, I felt it was worth participating in this tour with lunch included, as it allowed us to efficiently visit the main scenic spots.

旅行初日は夕方石垣島着だったので、実質旅の始めに島の概要を把握しようと思って利用しました。ガイドブックから前日17時までの申し込みが必要となっていたので1週間前に自宅から申し込もうとしても直接バス会社には予約できない事になっていました。(コロナ関連？)ベルトラさんから即時予約が出来て良かったです。当日は大型バスに7組程の利用だったのでバスの中はゆったり座れましたし、頻繁な手指消毒で安心安全なバスツアーでした。女性ガイドさんの説明は分かりやすく、知らないことを沢山教えて頂きました。また、三線と島唄もお上手で癒されました。運転手さんもお優しいお人柄で気持ちが良かったです。レンタカーを利用しなかったので昼食付のこの料金で主な景勝地を効率良く観光出来たので参加して良かったと思います。

Thank you for the wonderful day tour at the Churaumi Aquarium (10 hours). We used the service for three people, and the taxi was covered with transparent sheets around the driver's seat, allowing us to sit comfortably in the passenger seat as well. Since our pick-up time was set for 7 AM, we were able to enter the aquarium right when it opened, which was a lot of fun. On the way back, we were taken to a souvenir shop similar to a roadside station, where there were many local foods and souvenirs. It was really great. Thank you very much!

美ら海水族館1日観光（10時間）でお世話になりました。
3人で利用しましたが、タクシー内は、運転席を囲むように透明シートで覆ってあり、助手席も安心してゆったり座ることが出来ました。
お迎え時間も7時にしていただいたため、オープンすぐから水族館に入れたたのでとても楽しめました。帰りは、ホテルに戻る途中に道の駅のようなお土産屋さんに連れて行って頂きました。地元の食べ物やお土産がたくさんあり、とてもよかったです。本当にどうもありがとうございました。

Although there was growing concern about the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in Okinawa, I felt reassured by the thorough measures in place, such as temperature checks and hand sanitization at the meeting point. It seemed that the number of passengers was also adjusted, allowing for a comfortable seating arrangement.

After the Nakabaru River cruise and a round trip to Yufu Island by water buffalo cart, we were able to efficiently enjoy sightseeing on Taketomi Island within the limited time. I was delighted that Veltra allowed us to choose up to two options for activities on Taketomi Island, fulfilling my eager wishes.

I want to mention one thing first: for some reason, the meeting time is set for 9:10, but the bus departs at 9:30, making the early arrival completely pointless. I hope this can be reviewed as it wastes time.

Since I was traveling alone, this option was more convenient for exploring the island than renting a car. If you wish, they can drop you off directly at the airport, which can save you from the hassle of moving on the last day. It was cloudy on the day, so while waiting for the clouds to pass, they advised me on poses and took wonderful photos. I wasn't sure what color clothes to wear for silhouette photos, so I participated wearing a black outfit over a white one, but I was able to get great silhouette shots even in a white T-shirt!

I was guided by the veteran Iwamoto, who has been in this field for 30 years, to the mouth of the Urauchi River by canoe. The sunset viewed from the water was absolutely stunning. After seeing a sky full of stars, we entered a mysterious narrow stream. In the darkness, I saw bats flying in front of me, heard the sounds of fish jumping, the rustling of something stepping on fallen leaves, and the hooting of an owl—everything felt eerie and mystical (there's no way I would have gone without Iwamoto). By the time we returned to the mouth of the river, it was completely dark. In that setting, as I dipped the paddle into the water to head back to the starting point, countless glow-in-the-dark insects lit up, which was also very mystical. I’ve done various activities like daytime mangrove kayaking and night jungle tours, but this was the best optional tour. Next time I come, I definitely want to do this with my kids as well!
