I was worried about the rain forecast, but we were able to sightsee without much rain. There were a lot of clouds, but Kabira Bay was beautiful. We enjoyed seeing the fish clearly from the glass-bottom boat. I imagine it would be even more beautiful on a sunny day. It was great to hear the bus guide's stories and songs as well. It was helpful that we could go to the airport, so we didn't waste half a day and were able to enjoy sightseeing.

I stayed in Ishigaki Island for three days, but the weather wasn't very favorable (mostly cloudy with some light rain), and the only sunny day was during the tour on January 24th. Even during the tour, there were quite a few clouds, and it was a mix of sunny and cloudy; just when I thought the sun was shining, it would quickly hide again. Still, I was glad to see the beautiful blue sea of Ishigaki Island.

The Tamatorizaki Observatory has a short stay time, so it's better to hurry.

It was a great experience to leisurely explore the islands by water buffalo cart, which I had longed to do. I learned from the guide that water buffalo are gentle animals with intelligent personalities. I definitely want to travel to the Okinawan islands again.
