I only had one day to freely explore, and since I couldn't drive, I joined a bus tour. The guide provided announcements in multiple languages, which made it comfortable for foreign visitors. I think it's more cost-effective than renting a car since we could visit all the major famous spots. However, there are many places to go, so you need to keep an eye on the time. Also, if you don't remember the location of the bus parking lot, you won't be able to return, which can lead to being late... I'm not good at remembering places, so I ended up returning late during the visits to the Churaumi Aquarium and American Village, which caused some inconvenience.

I was moved to actually see and experience the scenery I had seen in books and encyclopedias as a child. I truly realized that you can't understand the air and scents unless you visit. The exploration of Taketomi Island, which I didn't know much about, was very impressive. Walking along the white sandy paths allowed me to immerse myself in nostalgia. Even though it had an exotic atmosphere, it gave me a strange feeling.

For a day trip, I was torn between choosing the American Village or Pineapple Park, but I definitely think the course that includes "American Village" is the better option for adults! In November, the days get shorter, so the illumination combined with the American-style buildings was really beautiful (*'▽'*).

I didn't know that the Churaumi Aquarium is one of the facilities within the Ocean Expo Park, and although it was a great opportunity, I felt disappointed that there wasn't enough time to enjoy the entire Ocean Expo Park. The roads were clear, and the itinerary progressed smoothly, allowing us to finish an hour and a half earlier than scheduled. I thought it would have been great if we could have extended our stay at the Ocean Expo Park just a little longer by incorporating some road information and making predictions (laughs). On my last solo trip, I went to Churaumi Aquarium by myself, but this time I signed up for a tour with my mother. To sum it up, I recommend the tour because it allows you to visit various places efficiently. However, if you want to take your time enjoying the aquarium and the shows, 150 minutes at Churaumi might not be enough. Despite it being a weekday, there were many Asian tourists in the aquarium, and with strollers everywhere, it was a bit challenging to navigate in the dim lighting. Also, since lunch is on your own, I think it would be a good idea to eat during the bus ride to save time.
I didn't have high expectations for the Okinawa Confectionery Kingdom and Pineapple Park included in the tour, but they exceeded my expectations. At the Okinawa Confectionery Kingdom, I bought several rose-shaped sweets as souvenirs. Many people were buying boxes of purple sweet potato tarts, but personally, I found the purple sweet potato karukan to be moist and delicious. Although it wasn't pineapple season at Pineapple Park, the botanical garden was creatively designed and enjoyable. Someone commented that there are more dinosaurs than in Jungle Land, and that might be true. There were realistic dinosaurs everywhere, which I think kids would enjoy. Even though pineapple season is over, there are plenty of processed products available as souvenirs.
The guide was older, but he was very skilled at storytelling and singing. I wish I could have listened to him more closely from the front seat.
前回の一人旅では自分で美ら海まで行きましたが、今回は母親とともにツアーに申し込みました。結論を言いますと、ツアーでは色々効率よく周れるのでお勧めです。ただ水族館やショーをゆっくり見たいとなると、美ら海150分では足りないかもしれません。水族館内は平日にもかかわらず、アジア系観光客がたくさんおり、しかもベビーカーがあちらこちらにあったので、暗い中見て回るのがちょっと大変でした。またランチは各自となるので、時間セーブのためにもバスでの移動中に食べるのがいいかと思います。
ツアーに入っている御菓子御殿やパイナップルパークにはあまり期待していなかったのですが、想像以上に良かったです。御菓子御殿ではバラのお菓子をいくつも買ってお土産にしました。多くの人が紅芋タルトを箱買いしていましたが、個人的には紅芋かるかんがしっとりして美味しかったです。またパイナップルパークはパイナップルこそ時期ではありませんでしたが、植物園が工夫が凝らされており楽しかったです。どなたかのコメントでジャングリアより恐竜がいるとありましたが、その通りかもしれません。リアルな恐竜がわらわらいて、子供も楽しめると思います。パイナップルシーズンが終わっていても、たくさんの加工品のお土産があります。
年配のガイドさんでしたが、お話も歌もとてもお上手でした。前の席でじっくり聞きたかったです。

美ら海でランチを取る時間が勿体ないのでバスの中で食べられる物を準備するといいです。

Due to the impact of the typhoon, it was a day with on-and-off rain. I was able to enjoy my long-awaited visit to Iriomote Island and Yufu Island, but it was disappointing that I couldn't go cycling on Taketomi Island because of the rain. I think it would be great if there were options to switch to bus tours or discounts at restaurants for rainy days, allowing for enjoyable plans even when it rains. The tours offered by Beltora are very appealing, and I always make use of them. I'm looking forward to future experiences!

It was an irreplaceable experience. It was unfortunate that there was wind and rain due to the typhoon, but I enjoyed a very delicious lunch with Ishigaki cuisine. It was my first time on a water buffalo cart, and listening to the sanshin performance was a soothing time. I recommend this tour for anyone going to Ishigaki Island.
