I wanted to drive around Ishigaki Island, but recently I've been a nervous driver and lacked confidence. Also, the local buses run infrequently, so I was about to give up when I found this tour.

While we did visit each sightseeing spot quickly, the friendly guide provided various explanations on the bus, and we were able to visit all the places we wanted.

At Kabira Bay, riding the glass-bottom boat means you can't relax on the sandy beach, but you can encounter cute creatures like sea turtles and clownfish.

Additionally, you can get off at the airport on the way back, so it's recommended to include this on your last day.

石垣島をドライブしたかったのですが、最近は、ペーパードライバーなので自信がなく、また、路線バスも本数が少なく、諦めかけていたときに、このツアーを見つけました。
各々の観光地は駆け足でめぐる感じにはなりますが、感じの良いガイドさんが、バス車内でも色々説明してくださいますし、行きたい場所はすべてまわる事ができました。
川平湾で、グラスボートに乗ると、砂浜でゆっくりすることはできませんが、ウミガメや、カクレクマノミなど、可愛い生き物たちに出会うことができます。
帰りも、空港で下車できるので、最終日に組み込むのもオススメです。

You can smoothly visit the three islands. I participated in this tour because I wanted to explore the island smoothly during my honeymoon.

I was worried about whether there would be something I could eat for lunch, but it was very delicious, and I finished it in no time! The champuru was the best I had on this trip.

The drivers of the bus, boat, and water buffalo were all very entertaining, and I really felt that joining this tour was a great decision.

We chose to bike around Taketomi Island, but even with our confidence in reading maps, we got lost, so it might be better to head back a little earlier. We were able to ride around the sea and the Nishi Sanzan Bridge, and we also enjoyed a mango smoothie in the center, so choosing to bike was definitely the right choice!

I was planning to wrap up my last day in Okinawa with a tour and then head straight to the airport, but… I was told that since it was the first day of a three-day weekend and a festival, I might not be able to return on time, which was concerning. However, they offered various consultations and gave me advice.

In the end, I decided to leave the tour at the last sightseeing spot, the Churaumi Aquarium, and took a shuttle bus to the airport, successfully finishing my trip!

Cycling after 20 to 30 years was fun, but it was disappointing that the roads were confusing and I couldn't get to Star Sand Beach. I also didn't have enough time at the café to enjoy sweets, only having juice instead, which was a letdown.

I was a bit worried that the morning tour on the last day would be rushed, but I ended up having a very fulfilling time at the end of my trip. Both Sefa Utaki and the Gangala Valley were mystical and felt like I had entered another world, so I'm glad I went. At Sefa Utaki, I also visited Chinen Cape early on, and the sea was very beautiful and refreshing. I'm glad I was able to efficiently visit the tourist spots in Okinawa. It felt a bit rushed, but I suppose that's to be expected with limited time. The main attraction, the Churaumi Aquarium, was especially great. Both the guide and the driver were very nice people.

It seems that the half-day course is not very popular (laughs). We traveled by taxi. However, because of that, they were able to accommodate changes to the itinerary to places I wanted to visit. Even though it was raining, I was able to enjoy a fulfilling sightseeing experience.

They also provided explanations about Okinawa along the way, and since they kept talking, I didn't get bored during the travel.

If a full-day course feels exhausting, I recommend the half-day course!

The most memorable part was Kote-kun! He stopped right where the customers could safely get off. But he was distracted by his crush, Koume-chan, and kept turning around while pulling the cart. So cute! He should muster up the courage and confess (laughs). I wonder if he's working energetically today. I want to go see him again. I also got to listen to the sanshin, and the lunch in Yufuin was delicious. Since then, I've become hooked on the oil miso and even bought some as souvenirs, which made my bag heavy (laughs). Since I had an elderly companion, we took the bus around Taketomi. It was a bit of a hectic trip, but I was able to truly experience Okinawa.

I joined this tour that allows you to visit three islands because I wanted to travel alone to various places. I noticed many people were traveling solo as well, and since there wasn't much interaction with other groups, I was able to relax comfortably.

Before departure, you receive an explanation and your ticket at the counter inside the island terminal. The tickets are collected each time, so be careful not to lose them. The explanation was thorough, leaving no room for confusion.

The ferry has free seating, and of course, the window seats fill up first. Everything runs on time, so as long as you make it, you won't be left behind, but arriving early will get you better seats.

During the sightseeing tour of Iriomote Island, I learned various things about the island while enjoying fun stories. I was lucky enough to see a crested serpent eagle. It's said that the Iriomote wildcat is nocturnal and rarely seen. Personally, I enjoyed the mangrove tour as well, but the bus tour to Yubu Island after the sightseeing was also fun. The driver's stories were entertaining.

On Yubu Island, we moved around on water buffaloes. There were fast and slow ones, so which one you ride is a matter of luck. The front seat offers a great view of the buffalo, but be careful as there might be splashes during their bathroom breaks. You can take a photo with Rui, the only water buffalo you can interact with on the island. You can buy a small free photo or a nice paid one. The lunch on this island was delicious, like a bento box. After that, we had a little free time, rode the water buffalo again, took the bus, and then the boat.

On Taketomi Island, I had free time as per the plan I signed up for. It was a free walk plan, but it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the entrance of the village, which isn't too far. I enjoyed the free walk to Nishizaki Pier. It might be tough at Hoshi no Sunahama, but the pier offered a beautiful view of the sea.

After that, I took the ferry at my preferred time back to the island terminal. It was a very enjoyable day.

1人参加の方も多く見られ、特に他のグループと関わって何かすることもなかったのでとても気軽に過ごせました。

出発前に離島ターミナル内のカウンターで説明とチケットを受け取ります。チケットは都度回収されるので無くさないように。説明は充分にされ、不明点がないほどしっかりされました。

フェリーは自由席。やはり窓側から埋まります。時間ぴったりに全て旅の計画は進むので間に合えば置いていかれることはない、けど早い方がいい席は取れます。

西表島の遊覧では楽しい話とともに西表島の様々なことが知れます。運良くカンムリワシ見れました。イリオモテヤマネコは夜行性で見れることはほぼないそう。私的にはマングローブツアーも楽しかったですが、遊覧降りてから由布島までのバス観光もたのしかったです。運転手さんの話がおもしろい。

由布島では水牛にのって移動。早い子、遅い子様々でどの子に乗れるかは運次第。1番前の席は見渡せ、牛がしっかり見えますが、排泄シーンでは水が飛ぶことがあるので注意。
由布島では唯一触れ合える水牛のルイくんと写真撮れます。無料の小さな写真と有料の立派な写真が買えたり。この島で昼食、お弁当見たいなごはんで美味しかったです。その後はすこし自由時間をとり、また水牛にのり、バスに乗り、船に乗り。

竹富島では申し込んだプランでフリータイム。
フリーウォークのプランでしたが、集落の入り口までは歩いて10分ほど。そんなに遠くないです。
西桟橋までならフリーウォークで十分楽しめました。星の砂の浜だと厳しいかもしれませんが、桟橋でもとってもきれいな海を見れました。

その後は好きな時間のフェリーにのり、離島ターミナルへ。とっても楽しい1日でした。

Most of the participants were from overseas. The Japanese participants returned to the bus on time, but I was surprised by the laxity of the overseas participants regarding time. I always go to Okinawa, but this was my first time using a bus tour (^o^) The driver and the guide were very warm and always checked in with us, which made me feel secure participating in the tour. The guide was very kind, had a great personality, and was cheerful, which was wonderful! We visited the Churaumi Aquarium, Manzamo, Ryukyu Village, and Okashi Goten, finishing at Banta Cafe. If I had driven myself, I would have surely gotten tired from driving, but it was so relaxing to be gently swayed by the bus, and the time flew by. The Okinawan music during the ride was soothing and truly pleasant. Although the time was limited, I was very satisfied. My friends and I are already talking about wanting to use this service again next time! There are so many courses available, and I’m looking forward to the next one. Thank you for this time! It was a small thrill to see three sea turtles while on the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay. From Ishigaki Port, we took a ferry to Taketomi Island and were amazed by the intelligence of the water buffalo on the cart ride. It was a day full of enjoyment from morning until evening.

I visited Sefa Utaki and the Gangala Valley. The bus ride was spacious and comfortable, and the bus guide provided a lot of interesting information, which was great. The Kariyushi Aquarium may not be as grand as the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, but one of its highlights is the thick glass walkway that allows you to see the fish swimming right beneath your feet, which was really great. It was a bit scary to have the aquarium right at your feet, but it was thrilling.

Additionally, the giant jellyfish tank was incredibly mysterious and beautiful, creating a fantastical atmosphere.

The Umikaji Terrace was also wonderful, offering a full taste of Okinawan ambiance.

American Village was enchanting as well, with a very foreign atmosphere, especially at night when the scenery appeared even more mystical than during the day.

かりゆし水族館は、沖縄美ら海水族館ほどのスケールはありませんが、見どころは、分厚いガラスで通路を設けて、魚が泳ぐ様子を足元から見ることが出来るのが凄く良かったです。足元が水槽なので少し怖かったですが、スリル満点でした。
後、クラゲの巨大な水槽が凄く神秘的で素敵でした。幻想的な雰囲気です。
ウミカジテラスは沖縄の雰囲気がたっぷり味わえてこれもまた素敵でした。
アメリカンビレッジも幻想的で異国の雰囲気がとっても良く、特に夜景のほうが昼間見るよりもいっそう神秘的に見えて素敵でした。

Unfortunately, it was rainy at Kouri Island and Manzamo, which was a bit disappointing. However, Manzamo really looked like an elephant's trunk, and it was interesting. The best part was American Village. It felt like experiencing a foreign atmosphere, and it was really great. The buildings were wonderful, like a different world.

Choosing the dinner plan with Sam's Steak was a good decision. They cooked the steak right in front of us, and it came with a performance, which was fun.

It became a great memory.

小宇利島と万座毛はあいにくの雨で、少し残念でした。でも万座毛は本当にゾウさんのお鼻にそっくりで、面白かったです。1番良かったのがアメリカンビレッジです。雰囲気が異国にいるみたいに体験できて凄く良かったです。別世界みたいで建物が凄く素敵でした。

Personally, I found the time allocation just right. To conclude, the Nakama River cruise, which I had the least expectations for, turned out to be the best. The guide was wonderful, and we stopped to look for wild birds, sometimes even turning back. Additionally, the bus ride from Nakama River to Yufu Island was great, with the driver's talk about daily life and shopping on Iriomote Island being enjoyable. When we spotted a crested serpent eagle along the way, the bus stopped so we could take a good look, which was very satisfying. I think both the mangrove cruise and the bus ride were a hit thanks to the people involved. However, I had high expectations for the water buffalo cart to Yufu Island, and after riding it twice, I was disappointed both times. It was much smaller than I had imagined, and the talk was quite standard. The much-anticipated sanshin performance was also formal and didn't resonate with me. The water buffalo cart experience I had on Taketomi Island last time was much more satisfying. Overall, since this was my first time in Iriomote Island, I think it was a good tour. Next time, I want to participate in some activities.

個人的には程よい時間配分でちょうどよかったです。結論から言うと、一番期待していなかった仲間川クルーズが一番よかった。船頭さんの案内が素晴らしくマングローブは勿論、野鳥を探しては停まったり時には戻ったりしていただけました。また、仲間川から由布島までのバスも運転手さんのトークが最高で西表島の日常や買い物事情など楽しかったです。そして道中、カンムリワシを発見した時はバスを停車させてじっくり見させてもらえ大満足。マングローブクルーズもバスも人次第なので大当たりだったと思います。しかし、由布島へ渡る水牛車は大きな期待をしていただけに往復2回乗りますが、どちらもがっかりでした。想像していたスケールよりもかなり小さく、トークも定型的でした。期待の三線演奏もこれまた形式的で演奏が心に響くことはありませんでした。前回体験した竹富島の水牛車の方が内容はずっと満足出来るものでした。
今回は初めての西表島だったので総合的にはよいツアーだったと思います。次はアクティビティに参加したいです。
