I participated with a friend. I wanted to see the sunset, but unfortunately, the weather didn't allow it. However, the staff shared enjoyable stories about the wonderful aspects of Miyako Island and provided a clear and concise explanation of stand-up paddleboarding, which made it a fun experience. At first, I was worried about whether I could balance and not fall, but I was able to stand and sit comfortably soon after. If there is another opportunity, I would like to book other tours as well! Thank you very much.

My partner and I participated in the sunset canoe tour. We made a reservation the evening before, and received a phone call right away with a polite explanation of the meeting time and place.

On the day of the tour, we were able to follow a course that considered the weather, ensuring a safe experience. We were also able to see the sunset. During the activity, the instructor took many photos for us and sent them to our smartphone (included in the tour fee). I was very grateful for this since I didn't have a waterproof camera!

One disappointing point was that another group participating in the tour was late to the meeting time and didn't listen to the explanations, which delayed our start. As a result, we didn't have much time to enjoy the sunset from the canoe. However, they extended the ending time, so the overall experience duration remained the same, but it was still a bit disappointing.

夫婦2人でサンセットカヌーに参加しました。
前日の夕方に予約してすぐに電話を頂き、集合時間、集合場所について電話で丁寧に説明していただきました。

当日は気候を考慮したコースで、安全に実施することができました。
夕日も見ることが出来ました。
また、アクティビティの最中にインストラクターの方にたくさん写真を撮って頂き、スマホに送って頂きました。(ツアー代金に含まれる)
防水のカメラを持っていなかったので、写真を撮っていただいて大変ありがたかったです！

1点残念な点を挙げるとしたら、一緒にツアーに参加した別グループが、集合時間に遅れる、かつ説明を聞かないグループだったので、スタートが遅れ、肝心のサンセットをカヌーからあまり見る時間がありませんでした。
その分終わりの時間を遅くして、全体の体験時間には変わりありませんでしたが、少々残念です。

Beyond my imagination!
It was my first time snorkeling, and I even encountered a sea turtle and took many photos. We kayaked to the entrance of the Pumpkin Cave, and swimming inside was a mystical experience that moved me! They also explained places where photography was not allowed and about the stalactites, which was educational. Finally, we jumped from the Pumpkin! It was a valuable experience and so much fun!
I participated in the tour right after the beach opening!
As for COVID-19 measures... I realized after it ended that there wasn't a temperature check or alcohol disinfection, but since it was an outdoor activity, I wasn't too concerned about being in close quarters!
The staff was attentive, checking multiple times if anyone was feeling seasick or unwell. There was someone in the group who started to feel a bit off, and it seemed challenging to keep an eye on them while also watching the rest of the group, but thanks to their quick and clear instructions, we were able to finish the tour without any worries.
They talked with a smile the whole time, which was enjoyable, and it was interesting to share stories with a few people from Hokkaido, my hometown!
I would like to use this service again when I travel to Miyako Island. Thank you for the wonderful memories! ^_^

初めてのシュノーケリングでしたが、ウミガメにも出会えて写真も沢山撮っていただきました。パンプキン鍾乳洞入口までカヤックを漕いで行き、中に泳いで入ると神秘的な空間で感動しました!写真撮影NGな場所や鍾乳石などの説明もしていただき、勉強にもなりました。最後はパンプキンからのジャンプ!貴重な体験ができ楽しかったです!
海開き後すぐにツアー参加させていただきました！
コロナ対策は…そーいえば体温チェックとかアルコール除菌とかなかったかなーと終わってから思いましたが笑
でもお外での活動だったので、密ではないのかなーと気になりませんでした！
お姉さんが何度も波酔いした方や体調崩した方がいないかなどを気にかけてくださっていました。
同じタイミングでのツアー参加の方に少し調子悪くなった方がいて、その人を気にしつつの周りも気にしつつと大変そうでしたが、テキパキした指示をしてくださったため不安なくツアーを終えることができました。
終始ニコニコ笑顔で話してくださり楽しかったのと、同じ北海道出身の方々が何人かいたため同郷の話も出来て面白かったです！
また宮古島に旅行に来た際は利用したいと思いました。いい思い出をありがとうございました^_^

I participated in the experience of swimming with sea turtles and exploring the Pumpkin Cave!

Before returning to the city, I decided I wanted to have a marine experience, so I made a reservation the day before and joined as a solo traveler. (Due to work commitments, I was alone, but it was nice to be with a family that had children.)

I didn't have much experience with snorkeling, but the instructor was very kind and explained everything thoroughly. (At first, I struggled to keep the goggles in place, and water kept getting in, but gradually I got used to it and was able to keep my face in the water for longer.)

As soon as we started looking for sea turtles, we found one right away, and later encountered another one. The sea turtle we found moved slowly and seemed to swim at the same pace as us, which was incredibly cute!

I was worried I might not get to see any, so I was really happy when I spotted one right away. It was a wonderful experience to swim right above the sea turtle!

After that, we moved by canoe to the Pumpkin Cave. (Canoeing uses quite a bit of arm muscle, haha.)

We entered through a very small entrance, and suddenly came across a large pumpkin-shaped formation, which was surprising!

Since there wasn't much depth, I thought that was the end, but then I was surprised again when they said we would climb through the cave! (It was less slippery than I expected, which was good.)

Inside was very mystical, and I felt the power of nature. I love experiences like this that make me feel excited as I venture deeper. At the end, we jumped into the sea from a spot about 2 meters high!

It became a truly memorable experience that makes me want to come back again.

The guide was also very kind, and it’s a tour that anyone can enjoy even if you’re alone, so I definitely recommend participating!☆

ウミガメと泳ぐ体験＋パンプキン鍾乳洞体験に
参加しました！

都内に帰る前にマリン体験がしたいと思い立ち、
女一人で前日に予約して参加しました。
（仕事の関係で1人参加でしたが
　お子さん連れの家族が一緒だったのでよかったです泣）

シュノーケル体験はあまり経験がなかったのですが、インストラクターのお兄さんが丁寧に説明してくれました。
（最初はゴーグルを抑えてないと水が入ってきてしまったりで慣れなかったのですが、だんだん長く海に顔をつけられるようになりました＾＾）

ウミガメを探し始めたら早速見つかり、
後にもう1匹にも遭遇。今回見つけたウミガメは
動きがゆっくりで、人間の泳ぐ速さに合わせてくれた感じがしてなんとも可愛らしかったです...!

遭遇できなかったら残念だなあと思っていましたが、すぐに会えたので嬉しかったです。
ウミガメの真上を泳ぐ、素敵な体験ができました！

その後はカヌーで移動してパンプキン鍾乳洞へ。
（カヌーは腕の筋肉けっこう使いますねｗ）

とても小さい入口から入り、中には
大きなカボチャの形をしたものがいきなり出てきてびっくり！

特に奥行きがなかったので、これで終わりかあ、と少し落胆してたら鍾乳洞を登ると言われまたびっくりｗ
（思っていたより滑りにくくてよかったです）

中はとても神秘的で、自然の凄さを体感しました。
奥に進んでいる時がワクワクするのでこういう体験は好きです。
最後は2mくらい高い場所から海へジャンプ！

また来たいと思える、とっても思い出に残る体験になりました。

I participated in mid-March when it was around 25 degrees. It seemed to be a busy day with about a dozen participants.

They provide water shoes, so you’ll be fine. You can wear a wetsuit if you wish. We wore long-sleeved rash guards and participated without a wetsuit. The river water was a bit cold, but it was fun overall, so I recommend going without one. Some participants wore shorts and short sleeves, but they also joined without wetsuits. (I think those who are sensitive to cold should wear one.)

It was my first experience with canyoning, and it was not just about going down the river; there were various attractions that made it thrilling and exciting! Definitely give it a try!

Even with a large group, the guide kept things moving at a good pace, and we had a lot of fun. They also added some acrobatic excitement that got everyone cheering! Our guide, Teru, was truly amazing!

★Recommended Points★
- The tour guide kindly teaches you how to safely enjoy thrilling canyoning. (Guide Teru was the best! Thank you!)
- The guide takes lots of photos and sends them to you later via LINE for free.
- You might get to see the wild cat of Iriomote.

★Recommended Attire (from a female perspective)★
- I think long sleeves and long pants are best. (Since you’ll be doing various activities, exposed skin could get scratches without you realizing it.)
- Since you’ll be wearing a helmet, it’s better to tie your hair back.
- It’s advisable to apply sunscreen. (The UV rays are five times stronger than on the main island.)
- I think men should also have long-sleeved rash guards.

During the travel to the site, guide Teru shared interesting stories about Iriomote Island's circumstances, plants, and animals, making the trip very enjoyable.

I had so much fun that I will definitely participate again when I come to Iriomote Island! Highly recommended!

25度くらいの3月中旬に参加しました。この日は多かったようで十数名の参加でした。

靴はウォーターシューズを貸してくれますので大丈夫です。ウエットスーツは希望に応じて着ることができます。私達は上下長袖のラッシュガードをつけて、ウエットスーツはなしで参加しました。川の水は少し冷たかったですが、それも含めて楽しかったので、なしがおすすめです。
周りの参加者は半ズボンの水着や半袖の方もいましたが、ウエットスーツはなしで参加されてました。(冷たいのが苦手な方は着たほうが良いとは思います)

キャニオニング初体験だったのですが、ただ川を下るだけでなくて、いろんなアトラクション？があって、スリリングでテンションが上がりました！是非体験してください！

人数が多くても、ガイドの方がテンポよく進めてくれるので、とても楽しめました。歓声があがるようなアクロバティックな盛り上げもしてくれました！ガイドのテルさん本当に最高でした！

★おすすめポイント★
・ツアーガイドの方が安全に刺激的なキャニオニングができるように、親切に教えてくれます。(ガイドのテルさん、サイコーでした！ありがとうー！)

・日焼け止めは塗った方が良いです。(紫外線が本島の5倍)
・男性も、上下長袖のラッシュガードがあったほうが良いかとは思います。

現場に到着するまでの移動中も、ガイドのテルさんが西表島の事情や植物、動物の話をしてくださり、とても楽しく過ごせました。

It was thunder and heavy rain until the morning of the day, but they were monitoring the sea conditions right up until the last moment to make a decision, and just in time, the rain stopped, allowing us to participate in the tour safely! Even with the cloudy sky, the underwater scenery was beautiful, and we were able to swim with many fish and sea turtles, which was an amazing experience!

After snorkeling, we moved by car close to the Pumpkin Cave, so it's necessary to have plastic covers or bath towels to keep the car dry! Canoeing and exploring the Pumpkin Cave can be quite physically demanding, so a schedule that allows for some relaxation afterward might be a good idea. The guide also took many photos and shared interesting facts, making it a fun time!

当日の朝まで雷と大雨でしたが、直前まで海の様子をみて決行を判断しているとのことで、ギリギリで雨も止み、無事にツアーに参加することができました！

シュノーケリングが終わった後は車でパンプキン鍾乳洞の近くまで移動となるので、車が濡れないようビニールやバスタオルは必要です！
カヌーやパンプキン鍾乳洞の探索は割と体力を使うので、体験後はゆっくりできるスケジュールが良いかもしれません。
ガイドさんも沢山写真をとってくれたり、豆知識を教えてくれて楽しい時間でした！

I participated in the Pumpkin Cave and sea turtle snorkeling tour. The sea was very beautiful! As someone who isn't a strong swimmer, I was a bit scared, but the guide was very kind, and my family was able to enjoy it. I was very satisfied to swim with the colorful fish and sea turtles. The Pumpkin Cave we visited afterward was very mystical.

The guide took many photos for us, which was a wonderful service for our family since we didn't bring a camera. However, it was a bit awkward to leave covered in sand after the tour.

I participated in a tour of the Pumpkin Cave and sea turtle snorkeling.

We gathered at 8:30 AM and headed to Shigira Beach. Right at the start of the tour, we encountered a sea turtle. The tour description on Veltra didn’t mention that photos would be taken during the tour, but the guide took pictures of each group with the sea turtle, which made for a great memory. In addition to the sea turtles, we were guided to beautiful coral reefs and deeper areas, allowing us to observe various marine creatures.

After snorkeling for about an hour, we moved by car to Bora River Beach. We boarded a canoe to head to the Pumpkin Cave. Before entering the cave, there were many explanations and precautions about areas that should not be touched or stepped on, showing that the tour respects the feelings of the local people regarding nature conservation and the sacredness of the site. Inside the cave, there were some tricky spots, but the guide was quick to lend a hand, allowing us to explore safely. Additionally, they maintained distance from other tours while providing explanations and taking photos, making it a memorable trip.

朝８時半集合でシギラビーチへ。
ツアーを始めてすぐ、ウミガメと遭遇。ベルトラのツアー説明には、ツアー中の写真を撮ってもらえるとの記載がなかったのですが、ガイドの方が参加一組ずつウミガメと写真撮影してくださったのでよい記念になりました。また、ウミガメだけでなく、サンゴ礁が綺麗なところや、深いところにも順に案内してくださり、色んな海の生き物を観察することが出来ました。

1時間くらいシュノーケルした後は、車移動をして、保良川ビーチへ。カヌーに乗ってパンプキン鍾乳洞に向かいます。パンプキン鍾乳洞に入る前には触ったり踏んだりしてはいけない場所の説明や注意事項がたくさんあり、自然保護や聖地としている地元の方の気持ちを大切にしながらツアーを催行していることが窺えました。鍾乳洞の中では足場が悪いところもありましたが、ガイドの方がすかさず手を差し伸べてくださり、安心して見学出来ました。また、他のツアーと距離をあけながら、説明や写真撮影をしていただき、心に残る旅行になりました。

Unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunset due to the cloudy weather, but I had a very fulfilling time. There was a change in the event location due to the wind, but thanks to that, I was able to easily stand on the board even as a beginner. Thank you very much. Also, the staff member was very friendly and shared many interesting stories during the SUP session, which made it a lot of fun. They took many photos, creating wonderful memories.

Canoeing and snorkeling were new experiences for me, and I was a bit anxious about whether I could do them, but the instructor, Kumachan, provided clear explanations and kept a close eye on us, which made me feel comfortable participating! The Pumpkin Cave was very beautiful. The explanations were easy to understand, even for a beginner like me. During snorkeling, we were taken to a spot where we could see lots of corals and fish, which was fulfilling! We even got to see a sea turtle, and they took pictures with us. It was very helpful that they took photos for us, so we didn't need to bring a camera. There was free time to explore, so I could see the places I wanted to. The day before, we received information from our tour guide about the meeting place and what to bring, and we met at the parking lot of Shinjo Beach. We quickly joined our guide and set off for sea turtle snorkeling with my family of four (my husband, our second-grade son, and our 4-year-old son) along with a woman who was participating alone. They prepared a snorkeling boat for our 4-year-old son, which was a great help. While on the boat, we could look down and see the underwater scenery. Our 4-year-old was pulled along by the guide and was able to see clownfish, sea turtles, coral reefs, and tropical fish, and he was thoroughly delighted. My second-grade son had a little mishap with his goggles fogging up, but he was super excited about the experience!

I hadn't gone snorkeling in a long time, so I was a bit anxious, but I enjoyed chatting with the woman who was participating with us, and the atmosphere was very friendly. I was truly happy when we encountered a sea turtle. Previously, I had participated in a sea turtle snorkeling experience in another place that wasn't Miyako Island, but the turtles were far away and quickly passed by. Next, we moved to the Pumpkin Cave. We set off for Pumpkin Hall by kayak. Unlike the sea turtle snorkeling, there were waves, which felt like a real adventure. Still, the guide mentioned that the sea was calm today, so we headed to the Pumpkin Cave. Once we entered Pumpkin Hall, a mystical view unfolded before us. I had seen various caves before, but entering a cave from the sea felt completely different. Our 4-year-old son was scared of the darkness and cried, so he waited with my husband and the guide in front of Pumpkin Hall. My second-grade son and I entered the cave, listened to various explanations from the guide, took photos, and finally jumped from the top of the pumpkin, making it a true adventure. My second-grade son said, "This was the most fun I've ever had in my life!" Although my husband and 4-year-old son couldn't explore the Pumpkin Cave this time, I plan to participate again when our son is old enough not to be afraid of the dark. By the way, our 4-year-old found sea kayaking fun and didn't cry even when we capsized. We made wonderful memories as a family!

前日にツアーガイドさんから集合場所や持ち物の連絡をいただき、新城海岸の駐車場で待ち合わせ。すぐにガイドさんと合流できて、家族四人(主人、小２息子、4歳息子)と、一人参加の女性と一緒に、でウミガメシュノーケルへ出発。
4歳の息子のために、シュノーケルボートを用意していただき、とても助かりました。ボートに乗りながら下を覗くと海の中が見られるという優れものです。4歳児は、ガイドさんに引っ張られ、クマノミやウミガメ、珊瑚礁や熱帯魚を見ることが出来、終始ご満悦。小２の息子はゴーグルが曇ったりと少しハプニングはありましたが、初めての体験に大興奮!
私はシュノーケリングじたいすごく久しぶりだったので少し不安でしたか、一緒に参加していた女性と話しながら、和気あいあいとした雰囲気でした。ウミガメに会えたときは本当に嬉しかったです。以前、宮古島ではない他のところでウミガメシュノーケルに参加したことがあるのですが、遠くに見えて、あっという間に過ぎ去ってしまった記憶があるのですが、こちらのシュノーケルは、ウミガメが、一緒に泳ごうよ!と言っているかのようでした。ウミガメシュノーケルならこちらのツアーは本当にオススメです!

We participated as a family of four in mid-March. We were fortunate with the weather, enjoying a sunny tour from the morning. Our family joined with young children (ages 8 and 4). While many tours for the pumpkin cave and sea turtles require participants to be at least 6 years old, this tour allowed children from 4 years old, so we decided to go with this option. We were a bit anxious about whether our 4-year-old could snorkel, but on the day of the tour, the guide brought a snorkeling boat, and our 4-year-old lay on the boat, peering into the water. We were able to see two sea turtles, clownfish, and beautifully colored tropical fish up close, making for a fulfilling experience.

During the pumpkin cave tour, another guide joined us and energized everyone with their lively voice. Inside the cave, it was pitch dark, but when we turned on the lights, it revealed a fantastical world. When it came time to jump into the sea at the end, I hesitated a bit, but the guide said, "It's said that if you make a wish before you jump in, your wish will come true." So, I made a wish and jumped in. Participating with children was made easier by the guide's solid support, which really enhanced the experience. They also sent us the photos from the tour on the same day, which was a quick response. All the photos turned out great, and we are very satisfied. Thank you!

３月中旬に家族四人で参加しました。天候に恵まれ、朝から快晴の中のツアーでした。我が家は子連れ(8歳、4歳)での参加でした。パンプキン鍾乳洞とウミガメのツアーは6歳以上のところが多い中、こちらのツアーでは4歳から参加可能だったのでこちらのツアーに決めました。4歳児にシュノーケルが出来るのか？という不安を抱きながら当日を迎えましたが、当日、ガイドさんがシュノーケルボートを持ってきてくれて、我が家の4歳児はボートにうつぶせになり海の中を覗き込んでいました。ウミガメ二匹とクマノミ、きれいな色の熱帯魚を間近で見ることが出来、充実した時間を過ごしました。

パンプキン鍾乳洞のツアーでは、もう一人ガイドさんが加わり、元気な声でみんなを盛り上げてくれました。鍾乳洞の中は真っ暗でしたが、ライトを点けるとそこは幻想的な世界でした。最後に海に飛び込むときは、少し躊躇してしまいましたが、ガイドさんが「願い事をして飛び込むとその願いが叶うと言われています。」と言うので、願い事をしながら飛び込みました。子連れでの参加も、ガイドさんがしっかりサポートしてくれて、その場を盛り上げてくれました。ツアーでの写真も当日中に送ってくれて、迅速な対応でした。写真もどれもよく撮れていて、満足しています。ありがとうございました！

I first went to Pumpkin Cave by canoe. Paddling while enjoying the ocean view was the best. The inside of the cave was even more beautiful than it looked in photos. Since you have to climb to see inside Pumpkin Cave, I was a bit scared, but the guide kindly took me up. It was said that seeing sea turtles while snorkeling is rare, but miraculously, I was able to see sea turtles twice. The guide was entertaining and explained everything thoroughly from start to finish. It was the best tour.

I was very anxious about whether we would be able to see sea turtles during the snorkeling in the first half, but I was deeply moved that we were able to take pictures together multiple times. After all, the main goal was to take photos with the sea turtles, so I am very satisfied. Also, we had hardly any snorkeling experience, but the guide kindly and thoroughly taught us how to change and swim, which made us feel at ease to participate. After a thorough warm-up, we started with snorkeling. Although the weather was a bit bad, it didn't matter once we were in the sea and the cave!

Right away, we encountered a sea turtle! While exploring the beautiful sea with our guide, we headed to a spot with clownfish. Nemo even posed for the camera! So adorable! ♡ On that day, we encountered many more sea turtles and were able to swim together in the Miyako Blue sea!

After snorkeling, we moved to the Pumpkin Cave. It was my first experience kayaking in the sea. The changes in the waves were fascinating! In the cave, we made sure to pay our respects before proceeding deeper with our guide, who explained various things along the way. Inside the cave, we could experience activities like waterfall training and jumping into the sea. It was super fun!

With our kind, attentive, and friendly guide, I had an extraordinary experience in the great nature of Miyako Island!

It takes a bit of practice to get used to being on the board, but once you do, you can enjoy various positions like standing, sitting, and lying down, which I think is a different charm compared to canoeing. In mid-March, the temperature was a bit chilly, and I felt the wind was a little strong. I think it will be more enjoyable when it gets a bit warmer and I can wear lighter clothing. I'm glad I participated and was able to experience the fun of SUP.

I had the best experience in Miyako Island! During the sea turtle snorkeling, I was able to see three sea turtles and had a great time swimming with them.
