I was so moved by the starry sky I saw in Miyako Island that I definitely wanted to take starry sky photos when I visited again, so I made a reservation here based on the good reviews.

On the day of the shoot, I was worried because the weather was unstable during the day, but it cleared up at night for the photography session. I received advice that the strong wind could make my dress look puffy, so I held it down with my hands and feet while shooting.

I had heard that Kaimajima has beautiful stars, but it was even more stunning than I imagined! There are almost no streetlights, and the shooting spots seem to be known only by the locals, so I think I wouldn't have been able to find them at night without their guidance. On the day of the shoot, I stayed at a nearby hotel and rode my bike to the location, and the starry sky along the way was also beautiful and amazing!

Regarding the photos, I received them the following night, and not only was the speed impressive, but seeing the finished product moved me even more! These are definitely not photos that an amateur could take with a smartphone. Since the weather can affect the schedule, whether or not the shoot goes as planned depends on luck, but I strongly recommend participating in the tour for anyone who wants to preserve memories of the starry sky! It’s quite a walk from the parking lot to the aquarium, so I was tired coming from far away. The aquarium was crowded, and I think it’s great for those who enjoy various events. However, it might not be suitable for those who want to relax and take their time. There’s an app that you can download to scan and get the names of the fish using AI, but it’s separate from the Churaumi Aquarium app, which made it a bit of a hassle, and with the crowd, I didn’t have much time to spare.

駐車場から水族館までは結構歩くので、遠くから来ると疲れました。水族館内も人が混んでいて、色んなイベントが好きな方には良いと思います。落ち着いてゆっくりしたい人にはむかないかな。

The starry sky photo tour, which was my number one thing to do on Miyako Island, was fantastic. The temperature was a bit chilly on the day, but fortunately, the weather was perfect.

Even during the journey to the shooting location and the little time we had after arriving, we were able to fully enjoy the stunning starry sky. The photographer also shared recommended poses, making the shoot very smooth.

Additionally, they sent the shooting data during our trip, so we could look at the photos together. The finished photos were just like the ones I had seen on Instagram, and I was very satisfied.

I would love to participate in a photo tour again in a different season!

初の宮古島で、やりたいこと1位だった星空フォトツアー。当日は少し肌寒い気温でしたが、運良く天候に恵まれて最高の条件でした。
撮影までの道中や着いてからの少しの時間も、満点の星空を満喫することができました。
