Exploring the pitch-black forest and beach with a flashlight was a bit scary, but it was exciting. I wanted to see the starry sky, but it was cloudy on the day, so I could hardly see any stars...
As for the creatures, I was disappointed not to see the coconut crab, but I was able to find eels and other crabs! The gobies were cute.
There were parts that didn't go as I hoped, but our guides, Macchan and Shikachan, kept the mood bright and lively, which strangely lifted my spirits (laughs). I want to go again on a sunny day during a warm season!

It was an incredibly fun and unforgettable experience! In the morning, we paddled through the mangroves in a canoe, enjoying the quiet and mysterious mangrove forest. After that, we went trekking to see a waterfall. The power and beauty of the waterfall were breathtaking. It felt like we were on an adventure!
In the afternoon, we took a water buffalo cart to tour Yubu Island. It truly is a place worthy of being called a southern paradise, with flowers and butterflies that were beautifully picturesque, allowing us to fully experience the richness of nature. The gelato, in particular, was exquisite, refreshing both body and mind.
Additionally, our guide was very friendly and easy to talk to, providing detailed explanations about the flora and fauna along the way. Even for someone like me who doesn’t exercise much, the activity level was just right, resulting in a very fulfilling day. I thoroughly enjoyed the nature and was extremely satisfied with the tour.
最高に楽しい忘れられない思い出となりました！午前中は、マングローブの中をカヌーで進み、静かで神秘的なマングローブの森を楽しみました。その後はトレッキングで滝を見に行きました。滝の迫力と美しさは圧巻でした。探検してるみたいで楽しいです！
午後には、水牛車に乗って由布島を観光しました。南の楽園と呼ぶにふさわしい場所で、花と蝶々がまるで絵画のように美しく、自然の豊かさを全身で感じました。特にジェラートが絶品で、心身ともにリフレッシュされました。
また、ガイドさんがとても気さくで話しやすく、道中の動植物について丁寧に解説してくれました。日頃あまり運動していない私でも、適度な筋肉痛を感じる程度の運動強度で、とても充実した一日を過ごすことができました。自然を満喫し、大変満足のいくツアーでした。
冬季は北風が強く、上原港行きのフェリーは欠航する日が多いらしいです。私たちの時も欠航しました。そのため、大原港行きのフェリーに乗って、バスで上原港に向かいました。変更手続きなどは特に難しくありません。

In February, when I participated, it seems to be a season with a lot of rain in Iriomote Island, so I was keeping an eye on the weather forecast two weeks before the tour. At the last minute, the forecast changed to cloudy, and somehow I was able to participate in the tour without any rain!
As a couple aged 59 and 65 who don’t exercise at all, we were fortunate that we were the only participants, so our guide, Mr. O, kindly taught us how to handle the canoe according to our pace.
While trekking through the jungle, he matched our pace and explained the scenery and trees along the way, making it a fun stroll. In areas where the cave ceiling was low, even when I struggled to get through, he patiently encouraged me, for which I am very grateful. Since there were elementary school children participating as well, I think beginners can join too.
We also took a lot of photos. Participating in the tour became a wonderful memory! Thank you very much! 🥰
参加した2月は西表島では雨の多い季節らしく、ツアー参加2週間前から天気予報とニラメッコ。
最後の最後に曇り予報に変わり、何とか雨のない中でツアーに参加できました！
59才＆65才の全く運動していない夫婦、幸いにもツアー参加は私たちだけでしたのでガイドのOさんが私たちに合わせて丁寧にカヌーの扱いを手ほどきしてくれました。
ジャングルのなかをトレッキングする際は、ペースを合わせていただき、途中で景色や樹木の説明をしてくださったり楽しく散策できました。
洞窟の天井が低いところでは私がくぐれずモタついてしても根気よく声かけていただき有難うございました。小学生のお子さんも参加されているとのことですので初心者でも参加可能だと思います。
写真もたくさん撮っていただきました。

We participated as a family with a 6-year-old child and parents in their 60s. I was worried because the weather was bad and it was drizzling, but the guide's talk was interesting, and we enjoyed ourselves on the way to the location.
The site was exciting as we ventured into a dark, deep forest that ordinary people can't enter. Walking through caves and rocky areas was also fun. We were able to see about three coconut crabs, which was our main goal. We also found frogs and insects, and my sons, who love insects and reptiles, were thrilled. Although we couldn't see the starry sky due to the rain, there were so many trees that the light rain didn't bother us, and we were very satisfied with the tour.
６歳の子どもと６０代の父母との家族での参加でした。天気が悪く雨がちらついていたため不安でしたが、ガイドさんのトークも面白く、現地に向かう道中から楽しめました。
現地は、普通の人は入っていけないような真っ暗な深い森の中を進んでいき、とてもわくわくしました。洞窟や岩場を歩くのも面白かったです。お目当てのヤシガニも３匹ほど見ることができました。他にもカエルや虫を見つけて、昆虫やは虫類が大好きな息子たちは大喜びでした。雨のため星空は見れませんでしたが木がたくさんあるので、小雨も気にならず大満足のツアー内容でした。

The tour guides kept us entertained with many fun stories during both the outbound and return trips, and I learned a lot of things I didn't know, making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy this time, so we couldn't see the starry sky, but I hope to see many stars next time I participate. The other highlight, the coconut crab, was diligently found by the tour guides, and we were able to take pictures together. Before going, I couldn't imagine what it would be like and was somewhat skeptical, but once I was taken to the site and went on the adventure, it was even more enjoyable than I had imagined, and I had a truly valuable experience. Thank you to all the staff.
ツアーの担当者の方々は、行きも帰りも車内の中で楽しい話をたくさんしてくださり、知らなかったこともたくさん聞けて最初から最後まで盛りだくさんに楽しませていただきました。
今回は、天気が曇りだったので残念ながら星空は観ることが出来ませんでしたが、次回参加した時には星空がたくさん観れたら嬉しいなと思っています。
もう一つの目玉のヤシガニはツアーの担当者の方々が一生懸命見つけてくださり一緒に写真を撮ることも出来ました。

It was a fun three hours! During the drive, the guide shared a lot of interesting facts about Ishigaki Island, so I was never bored until the end. The tour itself can be affected by the weather and luck on the day, but this time we were fortunate to have clear skies and see a beautiful starry night.
楽しい3時間でした！車での移動時間もガイドさんが石垣島豆知識をたくさんお話してくれたので最後まで飽きることなくすごせました。ツアー自体は当日の天気と運に左右されますが、今回は運良く晴れて綺麗な星空をみることができました。

I was a bit anxious about traveling alone as a university student, but the guide was very kind, and I was fortunate to have great fellow tour participants, which made the tour enjoyable from start to finish.

I had a truly valuable experience kayaking in the real darkness and quiet after sunset. The darkness made the bioluminescent plankton look beautiful, as I could barely see a few meters ahead. In that peaceful space, the only sounds were the water splashing from the kayak and the calls of owls, allowing me to fully enjoy nature in a way that is not possible in the city.
They provided detailed explanations about constellations, mangroves, and paddling techniques, and the pace allowed us to really appreciate nature, which was great. Thank you very much.
It was cloudy, so I couldn't see the stars, giving it a star rating of -1, but I would like to try again next time.

It was fun to have a guide through the nighttime jungle, which I definitely couldn't have done on my own, and they explained about the plants and creatures of Ishigaki Island. I joined the tour after my dad, who is around retirement age, decided to quit. Although we couldn't see the coconut crabs or the starry sky on this tour, it was surprisingly fun and a bit wild, and I was very satisfied. We explored the bushes and rocky areas, searching for animals.
At the beach, when we turned off the lights, experiencing the darkness that we usually can't feel was also a fun memory. Above all, the guide was great, explaining various things and even taking photos for us, making it a fun and quick tour.
I would like to participate again in the summer. I will try to find the starry sky again. Thank you to all the guides!

今回のツアーでは、ヤシガニや星空を観ることは出来なかったのですが、思った以上に楽しくちょっとワイルドなツアーで大変満足しました。茂みや岩場を探索し動物達を探しました。
浜辺では灯りを消したところ、日頃体感できない暗闇を体感できたのも楽しい思い出です。
何よりもガイドのお姉さんが色々と説明くださり、写真も撮ってくれるなど、楽しくあっという間のツアーでした。

You can enjoy sightseeing all the way to Cape Hedo, the northernmost point, in just one day. The seafood lunch was as delicious as others have commented. The melt-in-your-mouth squid sashimi was amazing to taste in this tropical setting! For those who are not fond of sashimi, the vegetable tempura was also said to be delicious. After lunch, we were served shikuwasa jelly and cake on the bus. Eating and drinking are allowed on the bus, so you can enjoy dessert while taking in the scenery from the window. Participants from China, South Korea, English-speaking countries, and French-speaking countries joined the tour. I was impressed by how the guide managed to bring together such a diverse group with just the right amount of distance. Thanks to this tour, I was able to have a great time without needing a rental car!

Unfortunately, the weather on the day of our visit was bad, and we couldn't see the stars at all. However, we were able to find many creatures, and the kids were very excited. We were lucky to find two snakes that are said to be very rare. We also saw four coconut crabs. But what excited me the most was the taro plant; I was moved and thought, "It's Totoro!" The journey was more challenging than I expected, and I got tired, but it became a wonderful memory. During our travels, the guide taught us various things, which was very educational.

The day before was really cold, and I was wondering how it would turn out, but on the day of the tour, the cold eased a bit, and I was able to participate in the night tour!
The tour truly gives you the thrill of moving through the jungle and reaching the sea. We searched for the coconut crab with everyone in the group, but... we ended up not finding any. However, it was fun to meet the coconut crab that another group found.
In winter, it's cold, and the chances of seeing coconut crabs are low, but I think the joy of searching with just one flashlight is something you can't experience often.
The stories from the tour guides were enjoyable, and I learned about the lives of the residents of Ishigaki Island and their recommended places. I rated it four stars because I want to participate again in the summer when there are lots of coconut crabs out! I'll get my revenge!!!

Also, the sound of the sanshin was really mystical. However, I never imagined it would be that cold. I wanted to see the stars, so I didn't want to go indoors, and I boarded the boat in light clothing due to the flow of the tour, which I really regretted. The tour guide was very nice and assisted us in both Japanese and English. For lunch, we had a delicious fish dish. My companion, who doesn't eat fish, was accommodated with a tempura lunch instead. I am grateful to the tour guide and the restaurant staff. We also enjoyed the weather at Yanbaru National Park and Cape Hedo. It was a well-planned tour.

First of all, thank you to the three guides for your assistance! I was able to enjoy the excitement of being in nature! You picked me up at the hotel on time, and the return transfer was smooth as well. The content of the tour was honestly a bit underwhelming compared to my expectations! This is my fifth time in Okinawa, but I had never been to the northern part, so I joined this tour. As usual, most participants were foreigners, but this tour provided earphone guides and pamphlets tailored to each participant's language at the beginning. During the tour, when the guide signaled "Please turn on your earphone guide," the next sightseeing explanation was provided in each participant's language through the earphone guide.
There are tours where explanations are mainly in Chinese, leaving Japanese participants behind, so I thought this was fair and well thought out.
There were about 15 participants, but they arranged a large bus, allowing us to enjoy the sightseeing comfortably.

I had only ever toured the beaches and Shuri Castle, but this time it was a very interesting and enjoyable trip as we were able to experience history and nature that we didn't know about. Since we didn't have a driver, we joined a one-day tour, which was a great deal and packed with highlights. The guide's explanations were professional and fun, and the fish for lunch was very delicious. I was very satisfied!
