Since I have visited Okinawa and its remote islands many times, I decided to try the Yanbaru tour in the northern part instead of the usual tourist spots. We were blessed with beautiful weather and had a wonderful tour guide. I also appreciate our driver for their safe driving.

The weather was wonderful, and it felt really nice. I highly recommend this place for those who want to experience something extraordinary in a jungle that feels like dinosaurs might appear! As an adult, I’ve found that I don’t get to let loose as much anymore, but I had a great time climbing and jumping around. I was quite nervous about the jumps, but the instructor, Koma-chan, really encouraged and cheered me on, so I managed to do it! I couldn’t bring my own camera for safety reasons, but the instructor took photos for us, which was great for capturing memories.

I was hesitant to participate until the last minute because I'm not good with bugs, but I'm really glad I joined!!! Even just seeing one cockroach was exciting and different from what I'm used to in the Kanto region, and I learned a lot, which made it very interesting. We participated as a family (parents and two sons, a high schooler and a middle schooler) on a Sunday at the end of September. The temperature was 33°C, and since we were navigating through a jungle path, I thought my mother might have to retire, but she managed to keep going with appropriate breaks. 9月末の日曜日に家族（父母、高校生と中学生の息子）で参加しました。
気温は33℃、ジャングルの道なき道を進むので、母がリタイアするかと思いましたが、様子を見て適宜休憩をしてくれながら進み、また、滝上も滝壺もしっかり楽しんでも予定通りの時間だったので、充分楽しめる行程だと思います。
滝上での八重山そば、滝壺でいただいたパンと温かい紅茶もサイコーです。

すれ違う方との何気ない挨拶もとても良い思い出。
