I previously participated in this course when the Churaumi Aquarium was included. It was fun back then, but I joined again because there were several facilities in Yanbaru that weren't part of the course before.

The Yanbaru Kuina was incredibly cute! Just that made it worth coming. Even though it was through glass, I could observe it quite closely. The seafood set lunch and the souvenir snacks were all delicious as well.

Perhaps because it was Sunday, the cafeteria was quite crowded, and the guide who brought the food seemed to have a tough time. Thank you for your hard work...

My impression after finishing the tour is that it would be difficult to cover such a course in one day on my own. In the northern part of Yanbaru, I participated in my first solo bus tour. On that day, the ferry to Uehara Port was canceled all day, so I took a bus from Ohara Port to the shuttle bus pickup location for Uehara Port. (I was informed about this during a phone call the day before!)

In the morning, since the mangrove canoeing was crowded, I was guided to explore the limestone cave first! There are some dark areas, but they lend you a light in advance. It was my first time in a limestone cave, and I had a great time seeing various plants and creatures!

After returning from the limestone cave, it was lunchtime♪ I was very satisfied with my favorite rice set! It was very filling!!

In the afternoon, we went to Pinai Saara Falls for mangrove canoeing and trekking. Even as a beginner in canoeing, they explained how to paddle clearly, and I really enjoyed it✨ They helped us avoid the canoe traffic, so it wasn't crowded at all, and I felt like we had the place to ourselves!

I didn't use the restroom during the canoeing and trekking, so it's essential to take care of that after lunch!

After the tour, there was time to change, and once I was ready, they took me to the bus stop for the bus to Ohara Port via shuttle bus. I had plenty of time before the return ferry.

午前中、マングローブカヌーが混み合うとのことで先に鍾乳洞探検を案内していただきました！
暗いところがありますが、事前にライトを貸していただけます。
初めての鍾乳洞でしたが、いろんな植物や生き物がいて楽しかったです！

大好きなご飯セットで大満足です！
ボリューム満点！！

午後はピナイサーラの滝まで、マングローブカヌー&トレッキング。
カヌー初心者でも、漕ぎ方を分かりやすく教えていただけて、とても楽しめました✨
カヌー渋滞を外していただけたので、全く混んでおらず、貸し切り感が味わえました！

お手洗いはカヌー&トレッキング中は行かなかったので、ランチ後に済ませておくのが必須です！

ツアー終了後、着替える時間があり、準備完了したらシャトルバスで大原港行きのバス乗り場まで送っていただけます。
帰りのフェリーまでの時間も余裕がありました。

8:00石垣島発のフェリー、18:00過ぎごろ石垣島着だったので、丸一日のツアーでした！！

Due to the cancellation at Uehara Port, we had to go via Ohara, which made the schedule tight, but the guide was very attentive and provided a thorough explanation.

The canoeing was pleasant with the breeze from Iriomote Island, and the trekking distance was just right. Along the way, the guide explained about the plants and took photos for us. The lunch we had in front of the waterfall was fantastic!

First time trying canoeing.
I participated with my wife in a two-person canoe.
The distance for canoeing felt shorter than I expected (it might have just felt that way because it was so much fun).
They provided a thorough explanation about the mangroves.
They also took some great photos!
The trekking to the waterfall took about 30 minutes.
There were no particularly steep paths, so we climbed up easily.

For snorkeling, we first went to Barasu Island.
Since we arrived about an hour and a half after low tide, it was mostly underwater, which was disappointing...
We moved to a different spot and encountered beautiful fish and turtles!
We went snorkeling at two locations.

It was a lot of fun.

However, Jumbo Tours had activities planned before and after that kept us entertained, making it a truly enjoyable day. The view of Cape Hedo from Mount Oishi was also fantastic, and the Okinawa rail named Kuro-kun was very cute. For lunch, the fish was fresh, and the location by the sea made it even more delicious. Additionally, the tour guide's service was excellent, making the trip even more wonderful. The people I participated with were all great, and it became a memorable journey. Thank you all very much!

It was disappointing that we couldn't go snorkeling at Balas Island due to the rain and wind from the previous day, but I was able to enjoy the tour thanks to the flexible changes made to the itinerary! Our guide, Mr. Yabuue, had a bright and fun atmosphere, and it was a lot of fun walking together. I definitely want to visit Balas Island next time!
