My impression after finishing the tour is that it would be difficult to cover such a course in one day on my own. I didn't have to drive, I could listen to the guide's announcements at various points, there were appropriate bathroom breaks, I could eat a delicious lunch without needing a reservation, and I could sleep if I felt drowsy. In the northern part of Yanbaru, I participated in my first solo bus tour. On the day of the tour, it was cloudy with occasional rain, and I was a bit anxious, but the cheerful greeting from the tour guide immediately put me at ease. The information I heard through the earphones was also educational. Thanks to the guide's flexible responses, I was able to visit the mangrove walkway, see the stunning view of Route 58 and Daishi Forest, enjoy lunch (which was a heavy downpour at that moment), visit Cape Hedo (a breathtaking view), and at Daishi Forest, I could admire the strange rocks, forest, and sea, managing to complete all the courses even though I wasn't very confident on my feet.

Next time, I want to stay in the northern area and take my time to revisit the places on my own. I must mention the tour guide, YK! Even though she must have been more tired than I was after two consecutive tours, she kept the atmosphere bright and lively throughout. What a professional! Her parting words, "Let's meet again someday!" really touched me.

やんばる北部、初の独りバスツアーで、当日は曇り空ぽつぽつ雨の中不安ながらの参加でしたが、最初の添乗員さんの底抜けに明るいご挨拶に心も解れ、イヤホンで所々聞く案内も勉強になりました。添乗員さんの臨機応変なご対応で、マングローブの遊歩道、ルート58と大石林山のツーショット、お昼ごはん(ここだけ大雨)、辺戸岬(絶景)、そして大石林山では奇岩、森林、海を眺めながら、足に自信がない私でも全てのコースを廻ることができました。
ヤンバルクイナも見られたし、何も知らないで行くより先ずこちらのツアーで効率よく廻って学べたのは良いなと。
そうそう、最後立ち寄った道の駅の地元のスイーツ屋さんでお話も出来て(タルト、シュークリーム最高)楽しかったです。
次回は北部に宿をとり、ゆっくり自分の足で復習に廻りたいと思いました。
特筆は、添乗員さんのYKさん！2連続の添乗で私よりも疲れていらっしゃるでしょうに、通して明るく元気に盛り上げてくださり、なんてprofessional！最後降車時の『またいつか会いましょうね～！』の一言は染みました。

I participated in the third day of my trip to Ishigaki Island.
On that day, the ferry to Uehara Port was canceled all day, so I took a bus from Ohara Port to the shuttle bus pickup location for Uehara Port. (I was informed about this during a phone call the day before!)

In the morning, since the mangrove canoeing was crowded, I was guided to explore the limestone cave first! There are some dark areas, but they lend you a light in advance. It was my first time in a limestone cave, and I had a great time seeing various plants and creatures!

After returning from the limestone cave, it was lunchtime♪ I was very satisfied with my favorite rice set! It was very filling!!

In the afternoon, we went to Pinai Saara Falls for mangrove canoeing and trekking. Even as a beginner in canoeing, they explained how to paddle clearly, and I really enjoyed it✨ They helped us avoid the canoe traffic, so it wasn't crowded at all, and I felt like we had the place to ourselves!

I didn't use the restroom during the canoeing and trekking, so it's essential to take care of that after lunch!

After the tour, there was time to change, and once I was ready, they took me to the bus stop for the bus to Ohara Port via shuttle bus. I had plenty of time before the return ferry.

The ferry departed Ishigaki Island at 8:00 and arrived back around 18:00, so it was a full day tour!!

当日は上原港行きの船が終日欠航だったため、大原港からバスで上原港のシャトルバスお迎え場所まで行きました。

午前中、マングローブカヌーが混み合うとのことで先に鍾乳洞探検を案内していただきました！

カヌー渋滞を外していただけたので、全く混んでおらず、貸し切り感が味わえました！

お手洗いはカヌー&トレッキング中は行かなかったので、ランチ後に済ませておくのが必須です！

ツアー終了後、着替える時間があり、準備完了したらシャトルバスで大原港行きのバス乗り場まで送っていただけます。
帰りのフェリーまでの時間も余裕がありました。

8:00石垣島発のフェリー、18:00過ぎごろ石垣島着だったので、丸一日のツアーでした！！

First time trying canoeing.
I participated with my wife in a two-person canoe.
The distance for canoeing felt shorter than I expected (it might have just felt that way because it was so much fun).
They provided a thorough explanation about the mangroves.
They also took some great photos!
The trekking to the waterfall took about 30 minutes.
There were no particularly steep paths, so we climbed up easily.

For snorkeling, we first went to Barasu Island.
Since we arrived about an hour and a half after low tide, it was mostly underwater, which was disappointing...

Despite a heavy rain warning in the morning and occasional light rain during the day, we had a wonderful time thanks to the detailed guidance from our driver, Mr. Ishikawa, and nature guide, Mr. Uchida, who tailored the course at Daichi Shinsan to suit the participants. Comfortable walking shoes were definitely a must for participation.

The view of Cape Hedo from Mount Oishi was also fantastic, and the Okinawa rail named Kuro-kun was very cute. For lunch, the fish was fresh, and the location by the sea made it even more delicious. It was my first time canoeing, but following the guide's advice made it easy. As we paddled down the empty river, we saw mangrove forests on both sides, and a relaxed atmosphere enveloped us. After the canoeing, we set off on a trek towards Pinai Sara Falls. There were steep paths, but the guide stopped at intervals to explain the trees in the forest, making the walk enjoyable. It was really fun! First of all, since there was no bus guide, I could sleep whenever I wanted on the bus, and I could listen to the sightseeing information through the audio guide (earphones). The guide also used earphones to communicate, which made it less crowded. The little gifts were delicious, the places we visited were well thought out, and I thought the overall structure of the tour was excellent.

I plan to choose Jumbo Tours when selecting a tour next time.

With a polite tour guide and local guides at each location, we were able to visit the northern tip of Okinawa Island and fully enjoy the great outdoors. I was moved to meet the Okinawa rail at the educational facility. The little souvenirs we received as gifts were more than I expected and of good quality. I would love to join this tour again.
