It was my first time doing SUP. Our guide, Moru-chan, provided clear instructions. The time flew by. We were guided through the mangroves towards the waterfall, and I felt so relaxed by the sunset, nature, and Moru-chan. We also took a lot of photos. In the car on the way there, we talked about various things related to Iriomote Island and its wildlife. We were also given recommendations for shops and how to spend time on Iriomote Island. Since there were only two groups, including us, it felt like a very luxurious experience.

初めてのSUPでした。
ガイドのモルちゃんさんがわかりやすくレクチャーしてくださいました。
あっと言う間の時間でした。マングローブの中から滝の方へも案内して頂き、夕日や自然、モルちゃんにもとっても癒されました。
写真も沢山撮って頂きました。行きの車の中でも、色々と西表島のお話や生き物のお話しをして頂きました。
おすすめのお店や西表島での過ごし方も教えていただきました。
私たちを含めて2組だったので、とても贅沢な時間でした。

The guide was bright and polite, making for a fun tour! The program included a visit to Yufu Island in the morning and a canoe activity in the afternoon. The visit to Yufu Island lasted about an hour, which was enough time to explore the island. We traveled to Yufu Island by water buffalo cart. It was interesting to ride different water buffalo on the way there and back, as their personalities were quite distinct.

I found that canoeing required more strength than I expected, but the guide was there to support us when we got stuck. The explanations about the mangroves were fascinating.

If you participate during the hot season, be sure to bring water and a towel. I also want to try snorkeling next time. Thank you again!

プログラムは午前に由布島観光、午後にカヌーアクティビティーとなっていました。
由布島観光は1時間位でしたが十分島中を探索できました。由布島へは水牛車で行きました。行きと帰りで違う水牛に乗りましたが性格の違いが現れていて面白かったです。
カヌーは思っていたより力が必要だと感じましたが、行き詰まってる時はガイドさんがサポートしていただけます。マングローブの説明は聞いていて面白かったです。
暑い季節の参加は必ず水分とタオルを忘れずに。
次回はシュノーケリングも参加したいと思いました。

Due to strong winds, we switched from stand-up paddleboarding to kayaking, but we had a wonderful time enjoying the view of Kabira Bay! The instructor was friendly, and we were able to share a fun time with the other participants. We could take photos with our own cameras, but the instructor also took pictures for us, which was reassuring, and we received photo data that we couldn't have captured ourselves, making for great memories of our trip!

During snorkeling, we were able to see beautiful fish even before entering the water. The instructor shared names of the creatures and interesting facts with us. The underwater scenery was stunning, and we were very satisfied. The staff also took photos of us while we were underwater.

Although we couldn't do stand-up paddleboarding this time, I would love to participate again when I come back to Ishigaki Island. Thank you!

強風にてsupからカヤックへと変更になりましたが、川平湾の景色を一望できとても楽しい時間でした！インストラクターの方の感じも良く一緒に参加した方々とも楽しい時間を共有することができました(^^) 自分たちの手持ちのカメラで写真を撮ることもできましたが、インストラクターの方も撮ってくださるので安心ですし、自分たちでは撮ることのできない写真データを頂けて旅のいい記録になりました！
シュノーケリングでは海に入る前から綺麗な魚をみることができました。生き物の名前や豆知識を教えてくださいました。海の中はとても綺麗で大満足でした。こちらでは水中での様子をスタッフの方が写真に納めてくれます(^ ^)
今回はsupはできませんでしたが、また石垣島にきた時はまた参加させて頂きたいです。ありがとうございました！

First and foremost, I was impressed by how friendly and approachable the staff were, making the entire journey enjoyable (thank you, Kodai and Chitose!). As a beginner, I was able to enjoy canoeing and SUP without worry because they taught me the techniques!

At the Pumpkin Cave, we had the thrill of climbing with ropes and jumping in, which felt like a true adventure, and I was grateful to enter such a sacred place.

During snorkeling, I encountered two sea turtles up close, watching them eat seaweed and breathe, which was incredibly cute and very healing!

When I fell and got injured, the staff quickly provided first aid, which was a great help (I apologize for forgetting the name of the female staff member). Thank you for your assistance!

The weather was perfect for the experience, but since the sun was strong, sun protection is essential. It’s a good idea to wear a rash guard (preferably one that covers the lower body as well to avoid injuries from rocks).

Initially, I had booked the Pumpkin Cave & Sea Kayaking + Sea Turtle Snorkeling plan, but due to weather conditions, it was changed to the Sea Turtle Snorkeling and SUP plan. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any sea turtles while snorkeling, but I was satisfied to see rare fish like lionfish! The clownfish hiding in the sea anemones were also adorable. And above all, the coral reef was beautiful.

During the SUP, a friendly guy welcomed us and took lots of photos, which made it enjoyable! The wind was strong, so we experienced it sitting down, but next time I want to challenge myself to paddle while standing!

シュノーケリングでは、残念ながらウミガメ似合うことはできませんでしたが、ミノカサゴなど珍しい魚を観ることができて満足でした！イソギンチャクに隠れるカクレクマノミも可愛かったです。そして何より珊瑚礁が綺麗でした。

The canoe experience in the mangroves and snorkeling at Barasu Island were both really fun, and what made it even better was that all the guides were cheerful, friendly, and kind, allowing us to have a great time throughout! I'm really glad I participated in Pipi's tours on both Ishigaki Island and Iriomote Island! I heard they also have a location in Miyako Island, so I would love to use their services again when I go back to Miyako Island!

The snorkeling at Barasu Island was canceled due to rough waves, so we changed our plans to visit Yubu Island. The water buffalo ride to Yubu Island was fun! The canoeing was nice because we got to see the mangroves! We crossed a fairly wide area to see the mangroves, so I was imagining a canoe surrounded by mangroves in a narrower river, which left me a bit wanting. The young girl who was our guide was nice, but it might be better if someone coming from outside the prefecture had a bit more local history and knowledge. Overall, it wasn't disappointing, and I had a great time!

由布島への水牛楽しかったです♪
カヌーはマングローブが見れたのでよかったです！かなり広い皮を横断する形でマングローブを見に行ったので、もう少し幅狭い川でマングローブに囲まれるカヌーを想像していたので少し物足りなさはありました。若い女の子がガイドさんで、県外からくる人はもう少し地元の歴史や知識があると嬉しいかもしれません。

I went on a one-day course with a friend! We did stand-up paddleboarding in the morning and snorkeling in the afternoon. Both of us were almost beginners, but we had no problems and enjoyed ourselves. The rainy season had just ended, and we were blessed with great weather, so we were satisfied with all the photos we took! We also got to see sea turtles up close for the first time, and the excitement of seeing them so near was incredible. We even saw Nemo, which made us feel so happy. First of all, it was simply fun! It was a time when big adults turned back into children, and the time flew by. Our guide, Matt-chan, was also a very nice person who patiently taught us and kept the atmosphere lively, even for us in our 50s. We learned a lot about the nature, animals, and flowers of Iriomote Island. I could really feel that Matt-chan loves Iriomote Island too. This was my second time with Pipi, and I heard everyone saying, "Work is fun, and the team is wonderful," which made me feel that it's a good company. I'm planning another trip to Iriomote Island in August, so I would like to rely on you again. By the way, it might be better to avoid wearing shorts for canyoning in the summer. It seems like wearing innerwear or leggings would be a better choice!

大の大人が子供に還った時間であっという間の時間でした。担当のまっちゃんさんもとても良い方で50代の私達にも丁寧に教えて頂き盛り上げてくれてました。西表島の自然や動物、花etc色々教えて頂いて。まっちゃんさんも西表島が大好きなんだなぁと感じました。pipiさんは今回2度目なのですが担当の方皆さん『仕事が楽しい、仲間が素晴らしい』と話してるのを聞いて良い会社何だろうなぁとも感じましたね。
又8月に西表島旅行を計画してるのでお世話になりたいです。
因みにキャニオニングは夏だからと半パン…は避けた方が良いかも。インナーやレギンスを履いた方が良さそうですね！

As a conclusion to my 3-night, 4-day trip to Ishigaki Island and Taketomi Island, I participated in this activity. Since it was a no-plan trip, I made a last-minute reservation the night before, but I was able to communicate smoothly with the staff and join the tour in the morning!

I saw many plants and animals living in the mangroves, felt the great nature, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was especially lucky to see a rare migratory bird, which became a wonderful memory!

The morning plan lasts about 2 hours in total, so I was scheduled to return on an afternoon flight, but I made it to the airport just fine. Therefore, it's recommended for when you have a little free time!

I had a strong image of Ishigaki Island being all about the sea, but I was able to discover new attractions. Thank you very much!

3泊4日の石垣島・竹富島旅行の締めくくりとして参加させていただきました。
ノープラン旅であったため、前日夜に急遽予約させていただいたのですが、スタッフの方とスムーズに連絡取ることができ、朝から参加することができました！

マングローブの中に生きる動植物をたくさん見て、大自然を感じることができ、満喫させていただきました。
特に希少な渡り鳥も運良く見れ、いい思い出にならました！！

午前プランだと全体で2時間くらいになるので、
午後の便で帰る予定でしたが空港もばっちり間に合いました。
なので、少し時間が空いた時にオススメです！

石垣島は海のイメージが強かったですが、
新たな魅力を感じることができました。

It was my first time snorkeling‼️ I'm not very good at swimming, but the guide helped a lot with safety, so even as a beginner, I had a great time snorkeling. This was my first time participating in a snorkeling tour. It was my second visit to Miyako Island, but during my last trip, it was typhoon season, and it rained heavily, making it difficult to even enter the sea. This time, although it was the rainy season, the weather was wonderfully clear with no rain! After arriving at the beach, I put on my snorkeling set, marine shoes, and fins, and entered the water. Instructors T and A guided us, providing thorough explanations and checks multiple times, which made me feel safe while swimming. The water was very clear, and there were beautiful coral reefs with many colorful fish to see. ✨✨ And right after I started swimming, a turtle appeared! At Shigira Beach, I finally got to see a sea turtle, and I encountered colorful fish, coral, and even a clownfish. It ended way too quickly! It was definitely the right choice to have someone knowledgeable guide us!

When we couldn't make any progress, we had to pull the canoe through the water or the tour guide helped push the canoe, and we somehow reached our destination! After a short break, I thought it would be easy to return since the wind was against us, but we struggled to go in the direction we wanted and unexpectedly capsized the canoe, getting completely soaked. However, the sea was beautiful and the water was shallow, so it was no problem at all, and it turned out to be an incredibly memorable tour. I had a hard time keeping up with everyone, and I required quite a bit of assistance, but thanks to that, I was able to have a great time. Thank you!

幻の島とsupの1日ツアーに参加予定でしたが強風のため、幻の島は欠航でsupはカヌーに変更して半日のツアーに参加しました。
しかし強風のため、風上に向かって漕ぐのはカヌーでもなかなかの重労働。どうしても進めない時は海の中をカヌーを引っ張って歩いたり、ツアーのお姉さんがカヌーを押してくれたりして何とか目的の場所まで到達！しばしの休憩を経て、帰りは風が逆なので楽に戻れるかと思いきや、思う方向にはなかなか進めず、まさかのカヌーで横転し全身びしょ濡れに。でも、海はキレイだし水深は浅いので全く問題はなく、もの凄く思い出に残るツアーになりました。私はなかなかみんなの流れについて行く事が出来ず、ずいぶんとお世話をかけましたが、お陰様で楽しく過ごす事が出来ました。ありがとうございます！

On the final day of our 4-night, 5-day trip to Taketomi Island and Ishigaki Island, despite the weather forecast predicting rain from the morning, we decided to participate in a canoe tour at Kabira Bay, accepting the possibility of rain until our evening flight.

However, we were greeted with good weather and even glimpses of sunshine. The staff, Shin-chan and Gin-chan, arrived at the meeting point with smiles.

In addition to us, a family of four also joined, and perhaps because it was a small group, we received kind and thorough guidance, creating a warm, homey atmosphere that allowed us to enjoy canoeing.

At the canoeing location, we were almost the only ones there, and we spent a peaceful and wonderful time.

Before the sun rises, they pick you up by car and take you to the starting point. This time, there were many clouds and strong winds, so unfortunately, we couldn't see the sunrise. However, our guide was persistent until the last moment and even took us on a mangrove tour at the end. The SUP itself is fun, and they guide you in a way that you can enjoy it regardless of the weather, so I highly recommend it. I thought I would only be able to take a few photos since we couldn't bring our belongings, but the guide took nearly 70 photos, and I was very satisfied afterward. On the way back, they drop you off at the hotel around 7 AM. I want to try again next time I come to Ishigaki to hopefully see the sunrise.

日が昇る前の暗い中、車で迎えにきてくれて、スタート地点まで連れて行ってくれます。
今回は雲が多く風も強かったので、残念ながら日の出を見ることはできなかったです。
ただ、ガイドさんがギリギリまで粘ってくれた上に、最後の時間にマングローブ側のツアーをしてくれました。SUP自体も楽しいですし、天候に関わらず楽しめるように案内してくれるのでおすすめです。
手荷物が持っていけないので写真は数枚かなと思っていたらガイドさんが70枚近く撮ってくれて、終わった後も大満足でした。
帰りは7時くらいにホテルまで送ってもらえます。
また石垣来た時はサンライズが見られるようにまた挑戦したいです。

This was my first visit to Miyako Island, and I decided to join a tour.

It was so much fun!

We took a canoe from Peach and headed to the Pumpkin Cave, which can only be accessed from the sea. Once inside, it was truly a Pumpkin Cave!

Thanks to our guide's enjoyable and attentive support, we were able to have a safe and fun experience!

The sea was, of course, beautiful, and it turned out to be the perfect day that healed my soul!

The itinerary was smooth and it was really great. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we couldn't see the stars we were hoping for, but other than that, we got to see various creatures and enjoyed canoeing in the dark, which was really nice. I think it would have been even better if everyone could have turned off their lights for some effects. This time we did the night canoe, but I heard there is also a sunset canoe, so I definitely want to try that next time. The tour guide was bright and fun, which made the experience very relaxing. Thank you!

行程もスムーズですごくよかったです。
あいにく曇りで目的の星空は見えなかったけど、
それ以外はいろんな生き物見れたり、暗闇の中のカヌーだったりですごくよかったです。
できれば全員が電気を消して等の演出があればなおよかったかなと思います。
今回はナイトカヌーでしたが、サンセットカヌーもあるということなので、次回はぜひサンセットカヌーの方も体験したいと思いました。

My first night canoe experience.
It was darker than I expected, with a mystical atmosphere and silence, accompanied by the sounds of nature. I was even moved by the mangrove jungle, which felt completely different from during the day.

The explanation on how to paddle was thorough, allowing me to start canoeing without any confusion. I was able to experience fish and other natural creatures through sight, sound, and touch.

I thought it might rain, but it didn't at all, and it cleared up a bit so I could see the stars. I've heard that the weather in Iriomote often turns out better than expected.

It was early June, but there were many bugs, so I recommend bringing insect repellent. Since you might get splashed while paddling and your bottom may get a little wet, I think wearing a swimsuit is better than just clothes that can get wet.

思っていたより真っ暗で、神秘的な雰囲気と静寂さ、その中に響く自然の音。。

漕ぎ方の説明も丁寧で、戸惑うことなくカヌーを漕ぎ出すことができました。
魚やその他の自然の生物を、視覚、聴覚、触覚全てで体感できました。

雨が降るかと思ったけど、全く降らず少し晴れて星も見れました。西表の天気はいい方に外れることもよくあるそうです。

6月頭でしたが、虫が多いので虫除けを持って行くことをお勧めします。
漕いでいる時に水がかかったり、お尻が少し濡れることも多々あるので、濡れてもいい服装と言うよりも水着で行くのがベターかと思います。
またぜひこのツアーに参加したいです。
