I was worried because the weather forecast predicted cloudy skies followed by rain, but I was able to enjoy the tour without getting rained on. During the bus ride, the tour guide shared various interesting stories about Okinawa, which allowed us to appreciate the background of the tour while sightseeing. I've been to Ishigaki Island many times, but I've always just enjoyed the sea without doing any sightseeing. This time, since I was traveling alone, I participated with sightseeing as the main focus!
Wow, it was amazing. I was able to visit all the places I wanted to go, and I was surprised at how many main points we were taken to by car!
Everywhere was great, but Kabira Bay was as beautiful as in the brochures!
The guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information, and I was really glad to have such a nice person with us! Thank you!

I heard that securing rental cars has been difficult since the COVID-19 pandemic. I was wondering what to do since I wanted to cross the Kouri Bridge, and then I found this tour. It was more efficient than going around on our own, and we were able to enjoy visiting various places.

Iriomote Island, Yubu Island, and Taketomi Island can all be visited in one day, making for a very fulfilling plan!
- Iriomote Island: I enjoyed a mangrove cruise while listening to our guide's stories, which felt like a real jungle adventure. We stopped to learn about the names of the mangroves and the purple heron, allowing us to fully appreciate Iriomote Island.
- Yubu Island: We crossed to Yubu Island on a water buffalo through shallow waters, which was a rare experience to interact closely with the buffalo during our free exploration of the island! The lunch included in the plan allowed us to taste local Okinawan ingredients, and later, I personally enjoyed gelato (island banana and milk) at a café that was quite delicious.
- Taketomi Island: We took a bus to Kaiji Beach, famous for its star sand, where we searched for star sand and enjoyed the scenery, fully experiencing Taketomi Island. After that, although it was from the car window, we could view Kondoi Beach and take a round trip while riding a water buffalo through the town, making for a very fulfilling plan.
One point to note is that there is very little free time, so those who want to explore Taketomi Island freely may feel a bit rushed. However, since you can visit all three islands in one day, I highly recommend this for anyone looking to island hop!

・西表島：ガイドさんのお話を聞きながらマングローブクルーズを堪能でき、リアルジャングルクルーズを体験しているようで楽しかったです。マングローブの名前やムラサキサギなど、その場で止まって紹介していただけ、じっくり見ながら西表島を満喫できました。
・由布島：浅瀬の中を水牛に乗って由布島へ渡り、由布島の自由散策で水牛と間近で触れ合う貴重な体験が出来ました！プランについてる昼食では沖縄の食材を味わうことができ、その後の残りの時間で個人的に行ったカフェのジェラート（島バナナ•ミルク）がかなり美味しかったです。
・竹富島：星の砂で有名なカイジ浜にバスに乗って移動し、星の砂を探したり、景色を見たり竹富島を満喫できました。その後、車窓からではありますが、コンドイビーチを眺めたり、水牛にのって街並みを観ながら周辺を一周できるのでかなり充実したプランでした。
一点、自由時間がほとんどないため、竹富島で自由散策をしたい方は少し時間が足りないと感じるかもしれませんが、３つの島を1日で回れるので島巡りしたい方にかなりおすすめです！

I searched for a tour that could take me to the northernmost part, which is difficult to access individually, and I applied for this one. It was great that we could efficiently cover the area.
Since the hotel I was staying at was far from the meeting point, I had called a taxi for the morning, but unfortunately, it was forgotten for my individual booking, and I almost missed it! I hurriedly called the contact number for assistance, and it turned out that I could catch up by taking a bus partway. I managed to make it just in time! I'm glad my family trip wasn't ruined. I'm grateful to the kind tour guide and driver!
Later, when I asked the tour guide, I learned that if I had requested directly from the tour company from the beginning, I could have specified a meeting point closer to my hotel.

後で添乗員さんにきいたら、最初からツアー会社に直接依頼すれば、ホテルから近いその合流場所を指定することもできたみたいでした。
また、ツアーそのものは満足度高かったですが、生魚の昼食が体に合わなかったようで、その後ちょっと体調をくずしました。普段は余りそんなこともなく丈夫なはずなのに。それがちょっと残念でした。

Since I was traveling alone without a car, I participated in this tour that seemed great for exploring Ishigaki Island. It turned out to be very good. The view of Kabira Bay on a sunny day was beautiful, and I was able to see sea turtles from the glass-bottom boat. The scenery from the observation deck was also incredibly stunning and left me in awe.
The guide's stories were interesting, and I was able to enjoy the bus ride without getting bored. I highly recommend this for solo travelers!

When we arrived at Iriomote Island and transferred to a bus, the driver provided a lot of explanations about the island, which helped me understand more and made the sightseeing more enjoyable. On Yubu Island, which we crossed by water buffalo cart, there was a lush subtropical botanical paradise. It felt like being in another country. There were flowers and various types of plants that can only be seen in Okinawa.
You can also experience a butterfly garden and a pond with many water buffalo, as well as interact with them. Although I didn't have high expectations for lunch, it was a delicious meal with generous portions, allowing us to enjoy Okinawan cuisine.
The final mangrove cruise was a relaxing way to view the mangrove forest from the boat, and the guide provided explanations about the ecology of the mangroves, the plants, and the creatures, making it an informative experience.

The glass-bottom boat took us out to the sea, and they worked hard to find fish, but there were fewer than I expected. When we threw out some bait, large, simple fish came around. I traveled from Ishigaki Island's ferry terminal to Iriomote Island and took a mangrove cruise. I knew the cruise wouldn't go too far into the mangroves, but I was a bit disappointed that we turned back much sooner than I expected.
Next, I took a water buffalo cart to Yubu Island. Yubu Island felt like a botanical garden and was very beautiful. The water buffalo cart was just as I had hoped.
Lunch at the island's cafeteria was also good.
Then, I visited Taketomi Island. Since I added all the options, we first went on a glass-bottom boat to see the corals and fish. The water clarity was a bit poor due to the typhoon that had just passed, but I was satisfied because I could still see corals and fish. It would have been even better if the water had been clearer, but that's just luck.
After that, we toured the island by microbus. I was a little disappointed by the number of people. Finally, I rode the water buffalo cart again to circle the island, and then we walked around the places we visited by water buffalo cart until it was time for the ferry. We were taken by bus to the ferry terminal and then took the ferry back to Ishigaki Island's ferry terminal.
I was very satisfied to have visited three islands in one day.
石垣島離島ターミナルより西表島に渡り、仲間川マングローブクルーズ。
マングローブクルーズはあまり奥まで行かない事は分かっていたが、期待していたよりも全然手前で戻ってしまったので少し残念。
次に水牛車で由布島へ。
由布島は全体が植物園の様な感じでとてもキレイでした。水牛車も期待通りで良かったです。
島の食堂でのランチも良かったです。
そして三島目の竹富島。
オプションを全部付けたので始めはグラスボートでサンゴと魚を見に行きました。
台風直後だったので水の透明度が少し悪かったですが、サンゴも魚も見れたので満足。
水が透明だったらなお良かったですが、こればかりは運ですね。
その後マイクロバスで島内観光。人の多さに少しがっかりでした。
最後は水牛車に乗ってもう一度島内をぐるりと回り、その後船の時間まで歩いて水牛車で回った場所をおさらい。
フェリー乗り場までバスで送ってもらい、フェリーで石垣島離島ターミナルへ。
1日で三島巡りできてとても満足でした。

The mangrove tour in Iriomote Island was a valuable experience. I was moved by the scenery that was so different from my daily life. I also rode the water buffalo cart twice on Yufu Island and Taketomi Island, but it was a special experience with different landscapes, making for a memorable day. It's quite difficult to pack such a schedule into one day on your own, so I'm glad I could participate.

It was a joy to spend time with my family on the same route I took about 30 years ago with my family members.

On Iriomote Island, I enjoyed the Nakama River cruise where I could see various mangroves and animals, and the boat guide's stories were fun. We crossed to Yubu Island by water buffalo, and I really felt the essence of Okinawa with the sound of the sanshin and the songs. First, we took a ferry from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island. On Iriomote Island, we cruised through the mangrove forests by boat. The guide provided detailed explanations about the mangrove ecosystem, and I learned so much—it was a wonderful experience!
From Ishigaki Island, we crossed the sea to Yubu Island by water buffalo. The water buffalo were so cute and soothing, and while crossing the sea, our guide played the sanshin, creating a moment where you can truly feel the essence of Okinawa!
We then took another ferry to Taketomi Island, where we also rode in a water buffalo cart! This time, the cart took us around the streets of Ishigaki, allowing us to enjoy a different scenery compared to Yubu Island.

We participated in this tour to create memorable experiences as a couple. The mangrove cruise was breathtaking with so many mangroves! My husband was also very satisfied. On the water buffalo cart, we enjoyed listening to the sanshin performance, and my husband happily hummed along to the songs. At Yufu Island, we strolled together among the subtropical plants, which was very nice. For lunch, we were able to try local dishes like under miso and umukujii, which we hadn't had before, and that was great. It was a wonderful tour that created lovely memories for us as a couple, and we were very satisfied.

Although the weather was unfortunately cloudy with occasional sunshine, I had a fulfilling sightseeing trip. On the high-speed boat Premium Dream, I enjoyed the view of the blue sea while listening to explanations about Taketomi Island and Kuroshima, making my way leisurely to Iriomote Island without getting bored. Despite the high tide during the mangrove cruise, I had a great time hearing about clams the size of a fist and various creatures and plants. The tour bus driver was also a great storyteller, which made it enjoyable. The water buffalo cart to Yubu Island was impressive as we listened to Okinawan folk songs played on the sanshin while being amazed by the strong water buffalo moving through the sea. The Okinawan cuisine on Yubu Island was also very delicious, and I finished every bite. Next time, I would like to participate during low tide.
曇り時々晴れの生憎の天気でしたが、充実した観光旅行が、出来ました。高速艇プレミアムドリーム号で、竹富島や黒島の説明を聴きつつ、青い海を見ながら、飽きることなく、西表島までゆっくり出来ました。マングローブ遊覧も大潮で満潮だったにも関わらず、げんこつ位の大きさのしじみの話とか、色んな生き物や植物の説明があり、かなり楽しめました。観光バスドライバーも話し上手で、楽しかったです。由布島までの水牛車は、三線の沖縄民謡を聴きつつ、海の中を力強く進む水牛に圧倒され、由布島の沖縄料理も非常に美味しく完食しました。今度は干潮の時に参加したいと思います。

I was disappointed that I couldn't do the things I wanted to do, like exploring Taketomi Island.

最終時間のコースを予約したのですが、人が多かった為か待ち時間が長く、観光時間が短く、竹富島観光で散策など、したいと思っていた事は出来ず、残念でした。
グラスボート体験は、想像よりガラスが霞んでいたからか、海の透明度が低かったからか、ハッキリとは見えず、かなりの波の揺れで船酔いしている方もちらほらおられました。
天気が良かったのでいい思い出にはなりました。

This time, I applied for a day trip tour to Iriomote and Yubu Island because I wanted to ride the water buffalo.
Unfortunately, the weather on the day was not favorable, with rain coming and going, but I was able to purchase a raincoat at the Iriomote Terminal, so I enjoyed the trip without any issues.
We proceeded along the Nakama River in Iriomote, observing the mangroves on both sides of the river and the animals that only inhabit the area, and finally rode the water buffalo to Yubu Island!
On Yubu Island, we had free time, so we first enjoyed lunch. The luxurious bento allowed us to savor Okinawan cuisine, and I was very satisfied. There is also a café on Yubu Island, and if the weather is nice, the view of the sea is beautiful, making it a perfect location.
On the return trip with the water buffalo, there was a performance by the guide on the sanshin, which was fantastic (there was no performance on the way there, and it seems that whether you can hear the performance depends on luck, as some guides perform and some do not).
