The location is very dark, so it might be a bit unsettling for first-timers, but once you get to the parking lot, you'll see cars parked, so it's all good!

The day arrived with a lot of anticipation, especially since there was a rain forecast the day before.

Since it's Miyako Island, the stars are beautiful no matter where you look, but the spot where we took photos felt exceptionally stunning! The Milky Way, which was not visible near the hotel, was clearly visible, and we were able to see shooting stars right away.

The staff were very kind, sharing recommendations for spots on the island and suggesting great poses for the photos.

At first, I thought they might be adding wings to the photos later on...

But during the shoot, they used a penlight to draw in the air right there, and we took the photos together.

Wait, can you really create beautiful wings like that!?
I was surprised, but when I saw the photos, I was extremely satisfied and even more amazed.

While the weather can vary from good to bad, and the location can be a bit tricky to find, I highly recommend it!

前日雨予報もあり、かなりソワソワしながら当日を迎えました。

宮古島なのでどこで星をみても綺麗なんですが、撮ってもらう場所はダントツで綺麗に感じました！
ホテル付近では見えない天の川がしっかりと見え、流れ星もすぐみる事ができました。

スタッフさんもとても親切で、島のオススメスポットを教えて下さったり、オススメポーズを指示して下さいました。

写真に羽を後から書いているのかなーと初めは思っていたのですが、、、

撮影してる時にペンライトを使ってその場で宙に書いて、一緒に撮影して下さいました。

え、そんなので綺麗な羽が出来るの！？
と、驚きましたが、写真を見てとても満足のいくもので更に驚きました。

天候によって良い日悪い日があるのと、場所が少しわかりづらいですが、大変オススメです！

The itinerary stated that we would only disembark at the star sand beach, but we were also allowed to get off and explore at Kondoi Beach, where we could stroll along the sandy shore. On the way back, we could spend the time until the ferry departure for free exploration of the village. Although the distance from the village to Taketomi Port is considerable, we were able to take a free bus provided by the water buffalo company. The mini bus tour driver provided thorough explanations about the island, and even though I was alone, I was able to fully enjoy the charm of Taketomi Island.

I participated in a tour that I have used multiple times before because my companion wanted to join. After finishing cycling on Taketomi Island, we returned to the port, and since I didn't know which side the ferry would dock on, I waited. When I asked an employee on the side where the Ishigaki Island Dream Tourism boat was docked, they kept telling me to line up. I asked which side to line up on, but they continued to insist that I should line up.

I noticed that the large travel agency Y was being treated politely, while we were being looked down upon with a discriminatory response that favored group profits over individual ones. Even at the beginning, when we departed from Iriomote Island for the cruise and bus, it seemed that the Y travel group was prioritized even though we were the first to leave. If they had stated from the start that groups with higher profits would be prioritized, I would have had to accept it, but the blatant discrimination was humiliating.

何度も利用しているツアーで今回も同行者が行きたいと言われて参加しました。
竹富島でのサイクリングが終わり港に戻りフェリー乗り場の左右どちらに停泊するかわからなかったので待機していると石垣島ドリーム観光の船が停泊した側の従業員に聞くと並んで下さいの連呼でした。
どちら側に並ぶが聞いたが更に並んで下さいの連呼でした。
初めから同じ行動だった大手Y旅行には丁寧に対応したりしてるのを見て団体の利益と個人の利益を差別した見下された対応でした。
初めも西表島からクルーズやバスなど全て一番初めに出発しても少し進んだらY旅行の団体を先に優先してるのは会社ぐるみの対応だったみたいでした。
初めから利益の多い団体様優先と記載していたら納得せざるを得ないですがあからさまな差別は屈辱でした。

It took about 10 minutes by boat to reach Taketomi Island, and we arrived comfortably with hardly any rocking. We first boarded the glass-bottom boat, and the guide's explanations were very thorough and easy to understand. I really felt their customer-first philosophy.

The water buffalo cart tour was also satisfying, with the guide providing clear and detailed explanations. Riding the water buffalo cart while listening to Okinawan folk songs as we explored the island truly made me feel the essence of Ryukyu! It was a lot of fun! ♪

I participated in this tour thinking it would allow me to efficiently explore Ishigaki Island for the first time. Although there was no tour guide, there were staff members at each destination, so I didn't get lost.

There were parts that felt a bit like a conveyor belt (it might not be suitable for those who want to savor one place thoroughly), but I think it allows you to cover a limited amount of time very efficiently. During the bus rides and on the water buffalo cart, there were explanations about the island and the buffalo, which were very easy to understand.

It suddenly rained heavily in the mangroves, but that became a good memory. On Yubu Island, we had lunch in the botanical garden and had about 30 minutes of free time for sightseeing. The lunch might be divisive in terms of taste, but I thought it was not bad, featuring local cuisine (perhaps because I didn't have high expectations after reading reviews).

On Taketomi Island, I chose the water buffalo cart + bus tour. I also rode a water buffalo cart on Yubu Island, but it had a different charm. We toured around the traditional houses on Taketomi Island for about 15 minutes while receiving explanations about the shisa and the architecture.

I learned a bit about each island, so when I come back to Ishigaki Island, I feel like I’ll be able to plan my own trips to the surrounding islands. My middle school and elementary school children seemed to enjoy the water buffalo cart the most!

初めての石垣島で、効率良く島巡りができるかと思い参加しました。添乗員はいませんが、船、バス、水牛車等、行く先々にスタッフがいるので迷うことはありません。
流れ作業のように感じる部分はありましたが(1箇所をじっくり堪能したい人には向かないかも)、限られた時間をとても効率良く回れると思います。バス移動時や、水牛車では、島の説明や牛の説明等があり、とても分かりやすかったです。
マングローブでは突然大雨になりましたがそれも良い思い出。
由布島では植物園内でお弁当を食べ、残りの時間30分程度の自由観光がありました。お弁当は好き嫌いが別れると思いますが、郷土料理的なおかずで、悪くはないと思います(口コミを見て余り期待していなかったからかもしれませんが)。
竹富島では水牛車+バス観光を選びました。由布島でも水牛車にのりましたが、また違った良さがあります。竹富島の民家の中をシーサーの説明や家の作り等説明をしてもらいながら15分程度回りました。
各島々のことが少し分かったので、また石垣島に来た時には自分達で離島へのプランニングができそうです。
中学生と小学生の子供たちは、何より水牛車が楽しかったようです！

I was able to explore various places in the great outdoors. However, since most of the activities were on a cruise or in a bullock cart, I felt a bit unsatisfied. I wished I could have been a bit more active, especially after coming all this way.

Also, the free time at Kabira Bay before lunch is highly recommended for a glass-bottom boat cruise. With the special fare for this tour bus (850 yen), I was able to see many corals and colorful fish underwater. The view from the Tamatorizaki Observatory, the last stop on the island, is something you can never get tired of. The afternoon water buffalo cart ride at Takeshima is relaxing, but it's a 30-minute experience where you appreciate the hardworking buffalo.

I participated in a beach day at Kondoi Beach. Since it was an afternoon tour, the return ferry was at 4 or 5 PM, so we only had a little over an hour at the beach, but it was nice to experience the sandy shore. The sun was strong, so it might be a good idea to bring a mini tent or something similar, even though it adds to your luggage.

I was able to almost circle Ishigaki Island and enjoyed the sightseeing! I was a bit surprised that the bus guide was a man, but he was interesting to listen to and I had a great time until the end! I also enjoyed the water buffalo in Taketomi.

The entire itinerary was efficient. It was great to understand the charm of Mishima in a compact way. The water buffalo was cute, and the children were very happy. It was a good experience. Everything was excellent except for the response from the man at the rental bicycle reception.

Regarding the rental bicycles, there were many participants, and I couldn't go to the front due to taking care of the children. Perhaps there was a timing issue with handing out tickets that I missed. When it was my turn, I couldn't present my ticket at their timing, and I was asked for the ticket in a frustrated manner. I was also dazed from the heat, so I didn't feel like arguing, but later I felt anger rising.

If that man, who didn't seem like a local at all, hadn't been there, my overall rating would have been a 5. Because of that man, my overall rating is a 3.

I participated in a tour because I wanted to ride a water buffalo. In Iriomote Island, I took a mangrove cruise. On Yubu Island, I rode a water buffalo across about 300 meters of sea, enjoyed a lunch bento inside, and appreciated the bougainvillea and butterfly garden. On Taketomi Island, I also rode a water buffalo and was guided slowly and leisurely around the town. The transportation was easy, whether by boat, bus, or water buffalo. During the water buffalo ride, it was nice that the guide sang with a sanshin. This tour, surrounded by subtropical nature, is highly recommended for a full day plan as it allows you to thoroughly enjoy the islands at a relaxed pace.
