Since I was traveling with my child, I chose this tour for its ease of movement and the opportunity to see various sights.

In the morning, we had a bus tour of Ishigaki Island. The stories from our veteran bus guide, Sunakawa, were entertaining, filled with songs and laughter, making the journey completely enjoyable. There were many solo participants, but thanks to Sunakawa's engaging talk, the atmosphere remained pleasant throughout.

The transparency of the glass-bottom boat in Kabira Bay was also amazing (though I did get a bit seasick if I wasn't careful). I heard that a sea turtle had come into the bay that day, but it was disappointing that we didn't get to see it. (Lunch was not included for my son, but it was possible to order on-site.)

In the afternoon, the ox cart ride on Taketomi Island was fun as well. I had visited Taketomi Island the day before and rode a bicycle, but I couldn't go fast and got quite tired, so I highly recommend the ox cart tour. After the ox cart ride, we had about an hour and a half of free time, during which we walked to Nishizaki Pier and relaxed.

It was a fulfilling tour that was worth more than the price!

子供とふたり旅だったので、移動が楽で一通り観光が出来るこちらのツアーを選びました。
午前中は石垣島バスツアー。
ベテランバスガイドの砂川さんのお話が面白く、唄もあり、笑いもあり全く道中飽きませんでした。
お一人での参加者も多かったですが、砂川さんのトークのお陰で終始和やかなムードでした。
川平湾のグラスボートの透明度も素晴らしかったです（油断したら船酔いしましたが）。
当日海亀が湾内に入ってきていたとの事でしたが、会えなくて残念でした。
（昼食は息子の分はつかないのですが、現地でオー
ダー可能でした）

午後の竹富島の牛車も、楽しかったです。
前日も竹富島に行って、自転車に乗ったのですがスピードが出せなくてかなり疲れたので牛車観光はおススメです。
牛車観光が終わり、1時間半くらいフリータイムがあり西桟橋まで歩いてのんびり過ごしました。
お値段以上に充実したツアーでした！

I had initially planned an extra day in Ishigaki Island for another tour, but since the tour I was aiming for went ahead as scheduled, I found myself wondering what to do for another day in Ishigaki. I ended up signing up for a tour the morning before, and it turned out to be quite fulfilling! We were introduced to the famous spots of Ishigaki Island with explanations from the bus guide, and most importantly, I enjoyed riding the water buffalo cart on Taketomi Island, feeling like I had time-traveled back to the old Okinawa islands. I'm glad I signed up for it.

However, be prepared for a lot of photos being taken by the participants of the walking tour on Taketomi Island along the way. (Laughs)

Most of the people who joined the tour had only signed up for a round trip around Ishigaki Island, and either got off the bus at the airport on the way back or returned to the bus terminal but were unsure of what to do next since it was still around 2 PM. Meanwhile, I enjoyed Taketomi Island all by myself at a reasonable price.

Next time, I think I will stay overnight on Taketomi Island. Thank you very much.

石垣島には他のツアーがお目当てで、そのツアーの為に1日余分を見ていたのですが、
予定通りにお目当てツアーは実施されたため、さて、もう一日石垣島でどうしよう？と、
急遽前日朝に申し込んだのですが、これがなかなか充実していました！
石垣島の名所をバスガイドさんの解説付きで紹介していただき、
何よりその後の竹富島の水牛車に乗り、昔にタイムスリップしたような沖縄の離島を楽しめて、
申し込んどいて良かったです。

しかし、他の竹富島を徒歩ツアーの方々から、道中、無茶苦茶写真撮られますので覚悟しといてください。（笑）

ツアーで一緒になったほとんどの方々は石垣島1周のみの申し込みで、
途中の空港でバスを降りて帰途につかれたか、あるいは、
バスターミナルに戻ったものの、まだ14時頃でこの後どうしよう？と困っていらっしゃいましたが、私は一人、お値段もお安く竹富島も楽しんでしまいました。

今度は竹富島に宿泊しようと思います。

I wanted to leave Taketomi Island in time for the hotel shuttle from Ishigaki Port, so I had plenty of time left and decided to go cycling at the last minute. I had two small children with me, but it was fine. The sea was incredibly beautiful and soothing.

由布島の植物園は大ぶりの雨になりちょっと残念でしたが、その分人が少なく静かな雰囲気でよかったかも。ただ足元がぬかるんでいるのではっ水の靴にすればよかったと思いました。
昼食は沖縄の郷土料理のお弁当。おいしかったです。
竹富島ではサイクリング。この時には雨も上がり、星砂の海岸では日差しが暑かったです。10月でしたが肌に刺さる感じでした。暑かったのでレンタサイクルやさんから5分くらい先のカフェでソフトクリームを食べましたが、濃厚でおいしかったです。

The mangrove cruise on Iriomote Island was especially enjoyable. On the ox cart ride to Yubu Island, the guide treated us to a beautiful song! I didn't have high expectations for the lunch since it was a bento box, but it turned out to be delicious, featuring several local Okinawan specialties. I couldn't finish the rice, so I wish I had gone with a bigger appetite!

I arrived in Osaka on Peach Aviation on September 29. Since I had some time before checking into the hotel, I joined this tour. It's more economical than purchasing the ferry fare and water buffalo cart tickets separately. After the tour, I strolled around the island, but even though it's the end of September, it was over 30°C and blazing hot. Walking around is quite difficult. I definitely recommend renting a bicycle as well. However, the village has coral sand laid out, which can be slippery; I saw several people slip and fall. It's best to explore the outer roads by bicycle and walk around the village.

9月29日にピーチ航空で大阪から到着。ホテルにチェックインするまで時間があるのでこちらのツアーに参加しました。フェリー代と水牛車のチケットを別々に購入するよりお得です(^^)ツアー終了後は徒歩で島を散策しましたが、9月の終わりとは言え30℃越えのカンカン照り。徒歩で回るには無理があります。是非レンタサイクルもつけましょう。ただし集落内はサンゴ砂が敷き詰めてあるため、よく滑るようで、何人も滑ったり転んだりする人を見ました。外周道路は自転車で、集落内は徒歩で散策するのがオススメです。

The shuttle service from the hotel was very helpful. I was able to smoothly arrange for the boat, water buffalo, and cycling. I paid 300 yen for an hour to upgrade to an electric bike on-site, which was a good decision since the roads were sandy and had unexpected ups and downs. Taketomi Island is a wonderful place. You can walk around the village, but definitely try to bike to Nishizaki Pier and Kondoi Beach. You'll be amazed!

ホテルからの送迎があり、とても助かりました。船、水牛、サイクリングとスムーズに手続きできました。自転車は一時間300円を現地で払って電動にしましたが、道が砂地で案外アップダウンがあるので正解でした。竹富島は素敵な島です。集落は歩いても回れますが、西桟橋やコンドイ浜へもぜひ自転車で行ってみて下さい。感動します！
