A 3-night, 4-day solo trip to the Yaeyama Islands.
On the final day, the bus tour around Ishigaki Island allowed me to thoroughly enjoy all the famous spots I wanted to visit, thanks to the high-level guidance from the driver and bus guide. The sun also made an appearance at the beach, so I got to see the stunning Ishigaki Blue 🩵, which was amazing.
When I visit again, I definitely want to recommend this tour to my acquaintances as well.

It was great to have a free pass that allowed me to pay in advance with a credit card and freely travel by bus to various places, including the airport, Kabira Bay, the Maebara Yaeyama Palm Grove, the Shisa Farm, Ishigaki Yaima Village, and Ishigaki Island Miru Miru Honpo. I stayed in Ishigaki Island for three days, but the weather wasn't very favorable (mostly cloudy with some light rain), and the only sunny day was during the tour on January 24th. Even during the tour, there were quite a few clouds, and it was a mix of sunny and cloudy; just when I thought the sun was shining, it would quickly hide again. Still, I was glad to see the beautiful blue sea of Ishigaki Island.
The Tamatorizaki Observatory has a short stay time, so it's better to hurry.
The tour guide was very skilled at playing the sanshin and singing, and they even taught us how to whistle with our fingers; they were truly talented. I learned a lot from their stories about the classical folk songs and traditions of the Yaeyama Islands. They shared many interesting tales about Ishigaki Island.
The driver also slowed down at key points to show us the scenery, making it a great tour. Especially on a nice weather day, the sea must be stunning.
石垣島に3日間滞在しましたがあまり天候に恵まれず（ほぼ曇りで小雨有り）、晴れたのははツアーの日1月24日だけでした。
ツアーの最中もかなり雲が多く晴れたり曇ったりで、日が差した！と思ったらまたすぐ隠れるという感じでした。
それでもなんとか石垣島のブルーの海が見れて良かったです。
玉取崎展望台は滞在時間が短いので、急いだ方が良いです。
添乗員さんは三線や歌がとてもお上手で、指笛を教えてくださったり本当に芸達者でした。
八重山の古典民謡、伝承などのお話も大変勉強になりました。
石垣島の面白い話をたくさんしてくれます。
運転手さんも要所要所で徐行して景色を見せてくださり、良いツアーだと思います。
特に良い天気の日は海がきれいで最高でしょう。

I often saw pictures of water buffalo, but I actually rode one across the sea. Each water buffalo has its own personality; some are laid-back, while others are a bit impatient. I found all their different personalities to be very charming. I also saw mangroves for the first time, and they were amazing. The guides everywhere were very friendly and approachable.

The weather in Ishigaki Island wasn't great in January, but that day we were blessed with clear skies, and I was satisfied to be able to do some sightseeing.

I visited Ishigaki Island during the three-day weekend in January. I jumped on a bus departing from Ishigaki Airport at 1 PM and joined a tour, where I had a wonderful time throughout.
On that day, the wind was strong, and we couldn't enter the sea on the Blue Cave side, so we went snorkeling at a beach about a five-minute drive from Ishigaki Port.
Following the guide's instructions, I put on a wetsuit and entered the sea. At first, it felt cold, but I gradually got used to it and was able to find beautiful coral reefs and schools of small fish. Along the way, I also spotted a fish called Irabucha, which the guide mentioned is delicious to eat. They even recommended a restaurant where I could try it, and I was impressed by how friendly and approachable they were.

1月の3連休に石垣島を訪ねました。
石垣空港から13時発のバスに飛び乗り、ツアーに参加しましたが、終始楽しい時間を過ごせました。
当日は風が強く、青の洞窟側の海に入れないとのことで石垣港から送迎車で5分程の場所にある海岸でのシュノーケリングになりました。
ガイドさんの指示に従い、ウェットスーツを着ていざ海に入ったところ、最初は冷たく感じましたが徐々に慣れてきて、素敵な珊瑚礁や小魚の群れを見つけることができました。
途中、イラブチャーというお魚も見つけ、ガイドさん曰く美味しく食べられるとのこと。そちらがいただけるおすすめのお店も紹介してもらえたりと、とても気さくに話してくださったことも印象に残っております。

I had wanted to visit this place since before my trip, so I made a reservation in advance. Since my flight was in the afternoon, I participated on the last day of my trip. This time, I didn't rent a car and stayed near the remote island terminal to go on an island tour, so I was left with some regrets about not being able to see much of the island. I have participated in the tour several times. This time, I was looking for a tour that didn't have city sightseeing, and I found one that fit perfectly in terms of timing. It was unfortunately a cloudy day, but the water was clear and there were no issues. Since we had booked during high tide, we were able to see a lot of corals and fish! The captain explained everything very well, and we even got to see sea turtles, which made us very satisfied!

I wanted to easily explore various places, especially to visit a limestone cave, so I decided on this tour! Unfortunately, it rained, but it was just as I expected. We got to ride on a glass-bottom boat, and even in the rain, we could clearly see the corals, fish, and sea turtles! The guide was just as he introduced himself, constantly chatting away, playing the sanshin, singing, and dancing, so I never got bored on the bus. The driver was also very kind and drove safely.
楽チンに色んなところ巡りたいのと、とくに鍾乳洞に行きたくて、本ツアーに決めました！あいにくの雨でしたが、期待通りの内容でした。グラスボートも乗れて、雨でもサンゴや魚、海ガメもしっかり見れました！ガイドさんは「思いついたことどんどん喋りますんで〜」と前置きされた通りにずーっと喋りっぱなし、三線弾いて唄をうたい、踊りも踊って、バスの中では退屈しませんでした。運転手さんも安全運転で優しい方でした。
