I had to give up my trip to Ishigaki Island once due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but I challenged myself to try again. I was able to enjoy a leisurely family trip exploring the islands and immersing ourselves in nature. I was surprised at how calm the water buffalo were.

It was great to be able to explore efficiently. I was able to learn about the unique qualities of each island. Additionally, the guides were all very kind. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Ishigaki Island.

I had a great time kayaking since I'm quite skilled at it. I was grateful that I couldn't take pictures myself. As expected, I was on the verge of getting seasick while fishing from the boat. I took motion sickness medication, but it didn't help. It seems that being afloat while not moving is what really bothers me. From now on, I'll focus on shore fishing!

カヤックはお手の物なので楽しめました。自分で画像は撮れないので有り難かったです。船釣りはやはり予想通り酔う寸前でした。酔いどめ飲んだんですがやはりダメでした。動いている時よりプカプカ浮いている状況がダメみたいです。今後は岸釣りに専念します!

I took a bus from the hotel where I was staying and got off in front of the hotel on the way back. It was very convenient. The tour included admission tickets to the Churaumi Aquarium and a light snack sandwich, making it a great deal. At Pineapple Park, perhaps because I was relaxing too much, the shopping time was reduced, so I recommend that those who enjoy shopping hurry a bit with their sightseeing in the park.

宿泊しているホテルからバスに乗り、復路もホテル前で降車。
とても楽でした。
美ら海水族館の入場券もつき、軽食のサンドイッチもついてお得感があるツアーでした。
パイナップルパークではのんびりしたせいか？ショッピングタイムが少なくなってしまいましたので買い物好きな方は園内の見学を少しお急ぎになる事をおすすめします。

I always use a sightseeing taxi for a day since I don't use a rental car while traveling.

During my summer trip to Hokkaido, I had a great driver, so I thought it would be worth paying extra for a certified driver this time.

First, at the pickup time, the driver waited in the car instead of coming to the lobby. I received a call beforehand saying they would come with a sign with my name, but nothing happened, and when I went outside, they were just sitting in the car.

Unbelievable. I've never encountered such a driver before.

This time, I had a five-hour plan, but the driver made no suggestions. When I expressed my desire to visit Kouri Island, the Michi-no-Eki Kyoda, and the Orion Beer Factory, I was told that a reservation was needed for the Orion Beer, and when I asked for a reservation, they fumbled around without knowing the phone number.

Then they asked, "What time will it be?" Isn’t it your job to estimate the time since you’re not familiar with the area?

I suggested it would be better to return to the hotel before that, and after completing the reservation, we headed to the Michi-no-Eki. After that, we went to Kouri Island. They asked if it would take an hour to visit the Ocean Tower and what we would do for lunch.

Normally, drivers have suggestions for lunch based on the sightseeing spots, but there was none.

I mentioned that I wasn't particularly hungry and that a food court would be fine, and they immediately drove into the food court parking lot.

I wanted to see the Heart Rock, but they just said, "Oh, is that so?" and took me to the coast.

There was no sightseeing guidance, and usually, drivers offer to take photos, so even during a two-hour sightseeing trip, I usually have plenty of pictures, but this time there were only two spots. The offer to take photos was almost nonexistent. Well, that's fine.

For lunch, we ended up being taken to the food court. I saw a sign for seafood rice bowls along the way and asked to go there, and they took us, but we had to check if it was open ourselves.

If you think of it as just a flat-rate taxi, that's fine, but if you're a certified driver, you shouldn't charge extra.

I will definitely not request this service again.

夏の北海道の時とても良いドライバーさんにお世話になり追加料金支払っても認定ドライバーさんが良いと思い予約しました

まずお迎えの時
ロビーにも来ず車で待っていました
名前のプラカードを持ってお迎えに来ると事前電話がありましたが何も無く、時間になっても現れず外に出ると車に乗ったままでした

今回５時間のプランでしたがドライバーから一切提案無く古宇利島と道の駅許田とオリオンビール工場見学したいと希望したら、オリオンビールは予約が必要と言われて、予約をお願いしたら電話番号も分からずモタモタ

そして何時にしますか？と
土地勘ないのに時間を読むのはアナタの仕事じゃないですか？

こちらからホテルに戻る前がいいのではと伝え、予約完了して道の駅へ
その後古宇利島へ
オシャンタワー観光は1時間かかるけどどうしますか？
昼食もどうしますか？と

普通お昼はドライバーさんが観光地に合わせてめぼしつけている物ですがそれもない

とくにお腹空いていないからフードコートでも構わないと伝えたら即フードコートの駐車場に入る

アッそうですかと海岸へ

特に観光案内もなく海岸へ行き
写真もいつもドライバーさんから撮りましょかと言ってもらえるので2時間の観光でも結構写真ありますが
今回は2か所だけ
撮りましょうかがほぼ無い
まあ良いですが


昼食も結局フードコートに案内されて
途中海鮮丼の幟を見かけたのでそこに行きたいと言ったら連れて行ってくれました、営業しているかなどは全部自分達で調べました
ただの定額タクシーと思えばいいのですが
認定ドライバーで追加料金取っちゃダメですよ

もう絶対頼みません

I didn't rent a car, so I was able to go to the places I wanted by joining a bus tour. It was great to hear various stories about Okinawa from the guide.

レンタカーを借りていないのでバスツアーに参加して行きたい場所に行けました。
ガイドさんの沖縄の色々な話を聞けて良かったです。

Due to the Christmas season, the optional tours available at the hotel were already fully booked. I searched and arranged through their website! The tour was a digest version covering two islands, including mangroves, water buffalo, and a local gourmet lunch, and it was very satisfying. It was designed so that even small children and those who are not confident in their physical strength could easily participate, and I had a great time. Thank you!

こちらのweb予約で検索し対応して頂きました！
ホテル送迎付きの２島をめぐるダイジェスト版で、マングローブと水牛、島グルメランチとおおよそ網羅されており満足の内容でした。
小さなお子様や体力に自信のない方でも気軽に参加できる内容で、楽しむことが出来ました。

The guide who explained everything in fluent English and Japanese left a very good impression. I think the cost performance is excellent. It was cold this time, so I would like to visit during a warmer season next time.

I was able to visit Iriomote Island, Yufu Island, and Taketomi Island! On Taketomi Island, I had planned to take a glass-bottom boat, but it was canceled due to the weather, so I enjoyed sightseeing with water buffalo on both Yufu Island and Taketomi Island. However, on Yufu Island, we toured on the water, while on Taketomi Island, we toured on land with the water buffalo, so I had a great time sightseeing with water buffalo on both islands!

西表島、由布島、竹富島へ行くことができました！竹富島ではグラスボート予定ですが、天候の影響でキャンセルとなってしまい、由布島でも竹富島でも水牛での観光でした。しかし、由布島では水の上を、竹富島では陸の上を水牛で観光でしたので、どちらの島も水牛観光でも楽しめました！！

Both the guide and the driver were pleasant, and I thoroughly enjoyed my first trip to Okinawa. The guide's singing and explanations were excellent (which may be a given), and I learned a lot about the history of the landmarks and useful information. Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and rainy, so it was disappointing not to see the beautiful ocean. There were also a few solo travelers, and being able to chat with them was one of the highlights of the trip. I often use bus tours, and I think 5,900 yen for a tour that includes light snacks is quite reasonable.

ガイドさんも運転手さんも感じが良く、初めての沖縄旅行でしたが満喫できました。
ガイドさんの歌や説明が上手（あたりまえのことかもしれませんが）で名所の歴史やお得情報などよくわかりました。
あいにくお天気が☁や雨だったので綺麗な海が見られなくて残念でした。
一人旅の方も何人かいらしてて、お話ができたのが旅の醍醐味のひとつでしょうか。
よくバスツアーを利用するのですが軽食つきで5900円はお手頃だと思います。に

I had an amazing time kayaking in the beautiful waters of Okinawa. Even in December, the seawater was pleasantly warm and felt great to touch. My sister was kayaking for the first time, and she was really scared at first, thinking she might drown because of my poor steering. However, the bright and kind instructor taught us patiently, which made her feel safe and allowed us to enjoy the experience.

We opted for the drone filming plan, and they filmed for a longer time than we expected, providing us with a lot of videos. It was a great memory since it was my sister's first trip in three years, and she has been busy with parenting.

The initial reservation date had bad weather, but we were able to change the schedule, and I’m really glad we could finally go kayaking as we had been looking forward to it. Thank you very much!

綺麗な沖縄の海で伸び伸びとシーカヤックができて最高に楽しかったです。（12月でも海水がほんのり温かくて、触ると気持ちよかったです。）
妹ははじめてのカヤックで、私の操作が下手すぎてはじめは溺れてしまうのでは・・ととても怖かったようですが、明るく親切なインストラクターの方が丁寧に教えてくださって安心して楽しめたと言っていました。
ドローン撮影プランにしたのですが、思っていたよりも長い時間撮影いただいて動画をたくさんいただきました。子育てに忙しい妹と3年ぶりの旅行だったので良い記念になりました。
最初の予約日は天候が悪く、日程変更いただくことができ、楽しみにしていたシーカヤックができて本当によかったです。ありがとうございました。

At first, I was worried because it was cloudy, but the wind cleared the clouds, and I was glad to see the beautiful view. After participating in the tour, I started to pay more attention to the stars.

I was glad to see the wonderful scenery, but when I stood up because I really needed to use the restroom before the meal, the guide scolded me without asking for a reason, saying, "I told you to stay seated!" Even when I tried to explain, I was told to sit down again a couple of times, and since it was early in the trip, I felt uncomfortable throughout the course.

The meal was very satisfying as I got to enjoy a lot of delicious fish, and after the meal, I enjoyed looking at the beautiful sea and swinging on a handmade swing.

There were many older participants, and it seemed like there were quite a few couples, but there were also a good number of solo participants.

At the national park, the local guide provided detailed explanations, which was very nice! I enjoyed listening to the descriptions of the plants and animals. However, it was puzzling that after finishing the national park visit, we were shown an introduction video about the park. I thought the order was strange...

I participated in December, and it gets a bit chilly in the morning and evening, so I think having a light jacket would be good. It was a bit hot during the hike.

Since they take you around to various places, I think it's great for those who can't drive themselves. I recommend it if you don't mind spending a long time on the bus.

素晴らしい景色が見れて良かったとは思いますが、
食事前どうしてもお手洗いに行きたくて立ち上がると理由も確認せず頭ごなしに「座っていてと言いましたよね！」とガイドさんに怒られました。
理由を述べようとしても2.3度被せて座ってくださいと怒られ、旅の序盤だったのでコースを回っている間中ずっと不愉快でした。

食事は美味しいお魚がたくさん食べられて大満足でした、食事後綺麗な海を眺めたり手作り感のあるブランコを漕いだりしました。

参加者の方々は年配の方が多く、ご夫婦が多かった印象ですがお一人の参加者も少なくなかったです。


国立公園では現地の方が詳しく説明をしてくださりとても良かったです！
植物や生き物たちの説明は聞いていて楽しかったです。
国立公園を見終わった後に国立公園の紹介動画を見せられたのは謎でした。
順番がおかしいと思います…。

12月に参加しましたが、朝と夕方少し冷えるので軽い上着があるといいかなと思います。
ハイキング中は少し暑かったです。

色んな所に連れ回してくれるので自分で運転ができないという方はいいと思います。
長時間バスに乗るのが苦痛でなければおすすめします。

The weather wasn't great, so it felt a bit hectic, but I think the tour itself was good value for money. There were two disappointing points. One was the need to remind some tour guests to speak a little more quietly. The other was that although there were three hours allocated for visiting the Churaumi Aquarium and having lunch, considering the time spent waiting to purchase tickets and the round trip to the parking lot, we effectively had just over two hours. Even though we wanted to eat, all the restaurants were crowded, with waits of 40 minutes to an hour, so we prioritized sightseeing and ended up not being able to eat. I would have appreciated more information in advance about the locations and expected crowds.

天候が良くなかった為に少々ばたばたした感じでしたが、ツアーそのものの内容はコスパが良いと思います。
残念だったのは2点。ひとつは少し大きめの声で会話するツアー客に対して注意する必要が有る事。もうひとつは美ら海水族館での見学および昼食の時間は3時間あるもののチケット購入待ちや駐車場までの往復を考えると実質は2時間強だった事。食事しようにもどの店も混んでおり40～1時間待ちなので見学を優先した結果食事はできませんでした。事前に場所や混雑見込み等の情報をもう少し教えていただきたいと思いました。

I participated in a tour in mid-December. It was a cold day, said to be the coldest wave of the year, but I was able to enjoy it by taking proper precautions against the cold, as I didn't get soaked while kayaking! There were many colorful fish in the sea, and I could peek at them through the clear kayak! They even filmed with a drone, and looking back at the photos, I get excited again thinking about how I was playing in such a beautiful sea! There was also free time, allowing me to enjoy some privacy!

12月の中旬にツアーに参加しました。年に一度の寒波と言われる寒い日でしたが、カヤック中にびしょ濡れになることはないため、しっかりと防寒対策をして楽しむことができました！
海にはカラフルな魚がたくさんいてクリアなカヤックから覗くことが出来ました！
ドローンでも撮影していただき、写真を振り返ると改めて、こんなにキレイな海で遊んでいたんだとテンションが上がります！
自由時間もあり、プライベートを楽しめました！

We used the service with three generations, including small children. The driver was a gentle Chinese man. My usually shy child immediately warmed up to him upon seeing him, and although it might have been a bit of a bother, he was very kind. Even now that we are back home, my child keeps saying they want to see the big brother again (laughs).

Due to bad weather on the day, we changed our plans and were guided to indoor attractions like the botanical garden and American Village, where we had a great time despite the rain. When picking us up, the driver brought an umbrella to the car because it was raining, and at the botanical garden, he also acted as a guide. When we stopped by the market, he even helped carry our heavy bags. I never expected such kindness and assistance.

If we have another opportunity, I would appreciate your help again. Thank you so much for everything this time.

三世代、小さな子ども連れで利用させていただきました。運転手さんは物腰柔らかな中国の方でした。普段人見知りする子どもが見た瞬間から運転手さんに懐き、ご迷惑だったと思うのですが、とても優しくしてくださいました。帰った今でもまたお兄さんに会いたいと言っています（笑）。当日は悪天候だったため、予定を変更して雨が降っても楽しめる場所として室内メインの植物園やアメリカンビレッジなどにも案内していただけて、十分楽しめました。お迎えの際には雨が降っているからと車のある場所まで傘を持ってきてくださったり、植物園ではガイドもしてくださり、市場に寄った時には同行して重い荷物まで持ってくださって、こんなに色々親切にしていただけるとは思っていませんでした。
またお願いすることがありましたら、その際はどうぞよろしくお願いします。今回は本当にお世話になりました。

I visited the DMM Kariyushi Aquarium for the first time. Compared to the famous Churaumi Aquarium, it is smaller in scale, but it uses video and light creatively, making it a very nice experience. There are basically no names or descriptions of the creatures, so it's essential to download the aquarium's app to view the explanations of the living creatures. Although it comes at a cost, there seems to be a guided tour available, and I definitely want to participate in a guided tour next time. Also, it was smooth that after booking through Veltra, the QR code for the voucher was reflected immediately, allowing us to enter without waiting in line at the ticket booth using that QR code! I'll keep the photo to just one to avoid spoilers.

初めてDMMかりゆし水族館へ行きました。
有名な美ら海水族館と比べると規模は小さいですが、映像や光を駆使し、新しいタイプの水族館で、とても素敵な演出でした。
基本的に行き物の名前や説明はほぼないため、水族館のアプリをダウンロードし、生き物の説明を見るスタイルなので、スマホは必須ですね。
有料にはなりますが、ガイドツアーもあるようで、次回は是非ガイド付きツアーにも参加してみたいです。
またベルトラ経由で申し込んでも購入後、すぐバウチャーにQRコードが反映され、現地でチケット売り場に並ぶことなくそのQRコードで入場できるのもスムーズでよかったです！

It was my first time in Okinawa. The weather wasn't great, but it turned into such a wonderful trip that I forgot about it. I definitely want to go again!

It was more affordable than going individually. The lunch was not just a small bonus; it was substantial, but it might have been a bit small in quantity for younger people.

個人で行く費用よりお得に行けました。昼食もおまけ程度では無くしっかりしたものでしたが若い人には量が少なかったかも。

I was able to enjoy mangrove kayaking even in the rain! The instructor provided detailed explanations about the mangroves and guided us carefully, allowing us to have a fulfilling experience!

I made a last-minute reservation, but I was relieved by the quick response.

On the day of my arrival, my flight was slightly delayed, but they were waiting with a nameplate, making it easy to meet up. The interior of the car had leather seats and was comfortable. They were considerate when getting in and out, and the driving was calm, which made me feel safe.

Since I was traveling alone, it felt a bit pricey, but if you arrive in the evening, there are no buses or shuttles available, and since it's a direct ride, it doesn't take much time even if the airport is far away, so I recommend it.

直前での予約でしたが、回答が早く安心しました。

当日は飛行機の到着が若干遅れたのですが、ネームプレートをもって待っていただきスムーズに合流できました。
車内は革張りのシートで快適でした。乗り降りする際の気遣いや、運転も穏やかで安心・安全でした。

1人利用だったので少々高くも感じますが、夕方着の場合はバスやシャトルもないですし、直行なので空港から遠くてもそんなに時間はかからないのでおすすめです。

The weather was a bit disappointing due to the wind and waves, but my family was very happy. Although there were strong currents and we almost hit some rocks, it was a free activity, so we could participate without stress. Taking photos with a drone made for great memories.

風と波で少し残念な天候でしたが、家族は大変喜んでました。流れが強くまっすぐ進まない、岩にぶつかりそうになる、などありましが自由なアクティビティでしたので気楽に参加できました。ドローンでの撮影は記念になります。

It's been six years since my last visit to Miyako Island. This is my first time visiting in winter, but I wanted to experience the sea, so I checked out various options and decided to try "clear kayaking," which had great reviews.

It had been over a decade since I last did sea kayaking, but thanks to the staff's thorough explanations, I felt quite at ease as we headed out to sea. An instructor on a stand-up paddleboard led the way, allowing me to focus on getting used to the kayak's operation, and gradually I became more comfortable maneuvering it.

The conditions were a bit windy under cloudy skies, and we couldn't see much of the underwater scenery ourselves. However, the instructor kindly pointed out areas with coral and where the fish were, allowing us to observe blue damselfish and clownfish through the clear bottom of the kayak.

Although we couldn't venture out into the open ocean due to the unfavorable sea conditions, it was a satisfying kayaking experience. The photos and videos taken with a drone after the kayaking were fantastic and made for wonderful memories.

Thank you so much! I would love to try again during a warmer season next time.

６年ぶりの宮古島。冬に訪れるのは初めてですが、少しでも海に触れたいと思いいろいろチェックしたところ、『クリアカヤック』の評判が良さそうなので、チャレンジをしてみることにしました。
シーカヤックをするのは十数年ぶりでしたが、スタッフさんの丁寧な説明もあり、余り不安を感じる事なく、海にで出ました。
スタンドアップペダルボードに乗ったインストラクターさんが先導してくれるので、初めは慣れないカヤックの操作に集中する事ができ、徐々にカヤックの操作もスムーズにできました。
曇り空の中風もあるコンディションで、自分達では海の中の様子はわかりませんでしだが、アテンドしてくれているインストラクターさんが、海中のサンゴのあるエリアや、魚がいる場所を丁寧に教えてくれるので、ルリイロスズメダイやクマノミをクリアなカヤックの底から観察することができました。
海況が余り芳しくないので、外洋には出ることはできませんでしたが、満足のカヤック体験でした。
カヤック終了後に頂いた写真や、ドローンを
使った動画は素晴らしく、良い想い出になりました。
本当にありがとうございました。
次回はもう少し暖かい時期に再チャレンジしてみたいと思います。

It's great that even those without a driver's license can conveniently go to various places. The timing was just right, and I had a wonderful day.
However, all the tourist information was delivered through earphones, and the guide didn't speak at all except for ticket and time information, which was a bit disappointing and felt a little lacking in energy.
It really dampened the excitement for sightseeing.
I will use this service again. Thank you!

免許を持っていない方でも、便利にいろんなところへ行けるのはとても嬉しいです。時間の調整もちょうど良くて、一日満喫で楽しかったです。
でも、観光情報などは全部イヤホンで流れて、ガイトはチケットや時間の案内以外一切喋ってくれなくて、しかも少し元気がない感じで残念でした。

I made a reservation on the morning of the day through VELTRA and was able to experience it that afternoon. After booking on the site, I received a call right away with information about the meeting place, and they were flexible with the start time.

Even though it was December, the temperature felt like autumn on the mainland, so wearing a T-shirt over my swimsuit was sufficient! If you're concerned about sunburn, it might be a good idea to wear a light shirt. Since you will definitely get a bit wet, I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting wet.

In the photos, it looks like there were only two participants, but a staff member was always nearby, which was reassuring. They took a lot of photos with their camera. The drone footage was stunning and became the best souvenir from Miyako Island!

I brought my smartphone in a waterproof case with a strap that I could hang around my neck, but I was so focused on paddling that I didn't take many pictures. However, I'm satisfied with the photos they took! By the way, I bought the waterproof case at Don Quijote in Miyako Island.

After enjoying the clear kayak, I also got to try a stand-up paddleboard-like boat! The weather wasn't great, and I didn't see many fish, but it was still a lot of fun!

VELTRAで当日朝に予約し、その日の午後に体験できました。サイトで予約後すぐお電話で集合場所のご連絡をいただけて、体験開始時間も融通を利かせてくださいました。

服装は、12月でしたが本土の秋くらいの気温感で、水着の上にTシャツを羽織るくらいで大丈夫でした！日焼けが気になる方は、薄手のシャツを羽織ってもいいかもしれません。確実に多少は濡れるので、濡れてもいい服装がいいと思います。

写真では体験者２人きりに見えますが、近くでスタッフさんがずっと着いてきてくださるので安心です。スタッフさん側のカメラで写真を沢山撮ってくださります。ドローンの動画は圧巻で、宮古島１番のお土産になりました！

自身のスマホは、首にかけられるストラップ付きの水濡れ防止のケースに入れて持ち込みましたが、漕ぐのに必死であまり撮れませんでした。でも撮っていただけた写真があるので満足です！ちなみに防水ケースは、宮古島内のドンキホーテで購入しました。

クリアカヤックを楽しんだあとは、サーフボードなような立ち乗りできるボートも体験させていただけました！天気があまり良くなく、魚はあまり見られませんでしたが、それでも十分楽しかったです！

A trip to Okinawa without a rental car. On the last day, I was considering sightseeing at places like the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. Initially, I had planned to take a high-speed boat to enjoy the view from the sea, but due to rough seas, the service was canceled, and I switched to a bus tour. The guide was kind and shared various stories about Okinawa, which were very helpful. Although the weather forecast predicted rain, we were blessed with good weather. Additionally, I had heard that traffic has been terrible lately, but it flowed relatively smoothly, and we arrived at the airport earlier than planned. Thank you very much.

最終日は美ら海水族館等の観光を考えていて、当初は高速船で海からの眺めを計画していたのが、海上時化のため欠航となりバスツアーに切り替えました。

The tour that efficiently covers the mangrove forest cruise in Iriomote, the ox cart ride to Yubu Island, and the charming star sand beach and ox carts in Taketomi Island was absolutely satisfying. I really felt it was worth going, especially since the weather was just right. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the Nansei Islands for the first time.

At first, I was worried if I could ride it, but after the training, I got used to it quickly. I enjoyed looking at the plants in Banna Park, crossing bridges, and spending a fun and fulfilling time. I highly recommend it!
