Since I stayed at a hotel near San Marina (Sheraton), I was picked up at Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha Bay. It was about a 10-minute walk. There was a lot of traffic due to Golden Week, but considering that I could have driven a rental car myself, it was really helpful to have such an easy way to get around. You can eat and drink on the bus, so I was able to enjoy snacks while spending time efficiently. I was able to visit all the places I wanted to go with kids in a digest format. Each stop was brief, but it was great to hit all the key points. The bus guide provided information on how to get around and detailed tips in advance, which allowed us to be efficient. It was also fun to listen to stories about Okinawa the whole time.
サンマリーナ周辺ホテル（シェラトン）に宿泊だったため、リザンシーパークホテル谷茶ベイでピックアップしてもらいました。歩いて10分くらいでした。ゴールデンウィークのため渋滞が多かったですが、これをレンタカーで自分で運転と考えたら本当に楽に移動させてもらえて助かりました。バスの中では飲食出来るので、軽食を食べたりしながら無駄な時間なく過ごすことができました。子連れ向きの行きたかったところをダイジェストでまわれました。1つ1つの時間は短めですが、押さえたいポイントが全て回れたのは良かったです。バスガイドさんがあらかじめ周り方や細かい情報も教えてくださるので、効率的に回ることができました。ずっと沖縄のお話しを聞いているのも楽しかったです。

It's understandable to spend time picking up guests from the hotels, but staying for 35 minutes at the souvenir shop and Okashi Goten is questionable. Shoppers are left with too much time on their hands, and even including bathroom breaks, it feels excessively long. Due to traffic congestion, we returned to the prefectural office after 8:30 PM. Foreign guests tend to be very lax about the meeting times, so the tour guide should enforce stricter guidelines.
ホテルを回ってピックアップに時間をかけるのはしょうがないとしてお土産店、御菓子御殿で35分も滞在するのはいかがなものでしょう。買い物客も時間を持て余してトイレ休憩を含めてもあまりにも長いです。渋滞混雑して県庁前に戻ったのは20時30分を過ぎていました。外国人の方は集合時間についてもとてもルーズなので、添乗員さんは厳しく指導するべきです。

Traveling between Iriomote Island and Yubu Island by water buffalo cart was relaxing and very soothing. I wish I had more time on Taketomi Island, and it was disappointing that the shops were closed on their regular day off. Next time, I plan to visit Taketomi Island and take my time.

The waves were a bit high from Ishigaki Port to Iriomote Island, so a few people experienced seasickness. The weather was good on Iriomote Island, making the mangrove cruise on the Nakama River and the water buffalo crossing to Yubu Island quite enjoyable. It will still get hotter from here, so precautions are necessary.

The tour of Iriomote Island was a valuable experience. The mangrove cruise on Iriomote Island was very informative, with the guide explaining the types of trees, climate, and characteristics of the island in an easy-to-understand manner, making it enjoyable to learn. Additionally, during the bus ride to Yubu Island, the driver provided guidance in the short travel time, giving us a deeper understanding of Iriomote Island. On the water buffalo cart, the boatman shared stories and sang "Asadoya Yunta" with the sanshin, which was a lot of fun. Churaumi Aquarium takes some time to get to from Naha, so I decided to join a tour. Although there are time constraints, you can still enjoy a thorough visit. After that, we visited several tourist spots, making it a great option for those who want to see a lot in a short time. The guide was a young person from Korea, but their Japanese was excellent, and they were very friendly, which made the experience even better.

The weather wasn't great, so I didn't really get the feeling of Okinawa. However, I enjoyed the water buffalo cart on Yufu Island and the star sand beach on Taketomi Island, so I'm glad I went.

It was an early departure, but we were able to efficiently tour the island. I was worried about getting seasick, but we arrived at Iriomote Island just when I thought I couldn't take it anymore. I really enjoyed the mangrove cruise, the water buffalo cart ride, and the tour of Yubu Island. During the mangrove cruise, we were able to see different types of mangroves and birds with explanations. Each water buffalo had its own personality, and we were able to spend a relaxing time. Lunch was a pre-prepared meal for the group. Beverages like beer can be ordered on the spot. Since it was free time including meal time, before I knew it, it was time to head back, which felt a bit rushed. On the return boat, I made it back to Ishigaki Island without getting seasick.

While being rocked in a water buffalo cart to Yubu Island, I enjoyed the sanshin music and the relaxed atmosphere, which was very soothing. I just wish we could have spent a little more time on Yubu Island. The lunch bento was also very delicious, featuring flavors of Okinawa! Since we traveled by bus, it was very easy for my father, who is nearly 80 years old, to enjoy the sightseeing.

Taketomi Island was a place I really wanted to visit, and although there was a bus from the port to the village, the wait time was long. It would have been even better if there were taxis available for those with difficulty walking.

My friend said, "Yambaru and the northern area are great too," so I decided to join.
Although we spent a lot of time on the bus, the guide and driver were kind, and we were able to efficiently and pleasantly explore the northern area.
The guide during the walking tour in Higashi Village was very likable, and the seafood lunch at a small local restaurant was fresh and very delicious.
Ohashi Forest was nice as well, but since I had seen a similar landscape in Iceland before, I felt a bit less moved than the other participants (I apologize).
I also got to see Kuta-kun, the Okinawa rail, and the Yambaru introduction video at the roadside station's dome theater (which you watch while lying down) was really good. Thank you!

I chose this tour because I wanted to explore the three islands. There is no tour guide, so we received an explanation at the ferry terminal and got tickets for the entire itinerary, which we followed.
At each destination, representatives from the respective tour companies were waiting for us, so there was no confusion, and everything went smoothly.
The mangrove tour in Iriomote was fascinating, the water buffalo cart ride to Yubu Island was soothing, and I was moved by the beauty of the sea in Taketomi Island.

While we were on the bus, you shared stories about the places we passed and sang Okinawan songs. Using the tour allowed us to learn about Okinawa in a short time, and I don't think we could have visited so many places on our own. We wanted to visit Kouri Island, which is difficult to access individually, and the tour included admission to the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and Nago Pineapple Park. The time allocation was appropriate. Although lunch was scheduled at the aquarium, we decided to eat in the car to avoid the crowds and maximize our playtime. In the end, that worked out perfectly. We were a bit worried as an 80-year-old couple about the day tour from 8 AM to 5:30 PM, but on the bus, the tour guide's precise earphone signals allowed us to enjoy the history and details before the sightseeing.
At the pineapple plantation, we rode a vehicle to tour the grounds and then walked through the botanical garden, where we were surprised to see many dinosaur sculptures.
At the Churaumi Aquarium, the three hours of visiting time flew by. We were very satisfied with the trip, as we were able to see the dolphin show, whale sharks, and manta rays.

Water buffalo cart: The water buffalo was so cute, and it was amazing to ride for 10-15 minutes while they played the shamisen and sang. You can take photos here, so I highly recommend it! Be sure to try the gelato on Yufu Island. When you arrive on the island, head straight to the spot where you can interact with the water buffalo and take pictures! If you don't go first, it gets crowded, and you won't be able to visit other places.
Rental bicycles: If you plan to explore by bike, there's not much time, so I think three spots is about the limit. Kaiji Beach → Kondoi Beach → a café ☕️ might be just the right amount of time to enjoy. I recommend the café at Parlor Painu Island for mango café, kakigori, or coffee.

The tour itself was enjoyable, with the captain providing explanations about the islands, the bus driver giving insights, and the boatman during the water buffalo cart ride and Nakama River cruise all being very kind and thorough in their guidance. I had a great time exploring. However, when I asked the staff at the counter for suggestions on how to pass the time after returning to port and before my next schedule, I was a bit disappointed that there were no particular recommendations, as it might have been outside their service.
ツアー自体は道中の船長さんの島々の解説やバスの運転手さんの解説、水牛車、仲間川クルーズの船頭さんなど皆さん懇切丁寧に説明、ガイドしてくださり楽しく周遊出来ました。

I traveled alone as a woman. I could have rented a car from Naha to the Churaumi Aquarium, but since it was my first time in Okinawa and I wasn't familiar with the roads, I decided to join a tour. In the end, I’m really glad I did! My destination was just the Churaumi Aquarium, but I was able to see other sights as well, which was very helpful. I couldn't see the mangrove roots due to high tide, but it was nice to take a route I don't usually travel. The water buffalo were really calm and doing their job well. It was great to be back after seven years.

I chose a free plan for Taketomi Island without much thought, but it takes about 15 minutes on foot from the port to the town center. I didn't have the energy to go further to places like Kondoi Beach, so I returned to the port. Even if it costs a bit more, I think it's better to have a rental bicycle with a shuttle service from the port to the town center or a bus tour from the start. By the way, there is a rental bicycle available for 600 yen for 2 hours once you reach the town center, but be careful as you can't return it at the port.
Overall, the tour was compact and allowed us to visit the three islands, which was great.

多少お金がかかってもこの島ははじめから、船着場から中心地まで車の送迎があるレンタサイクルか、バス観光がベターだと思う。ちなみに、中心部まで行くと2時間600円のレンタサイクルはあるが、船着場での乗り捨てが出来ないので要注意。
ツアー自体はコンパクトに三島周れて良かった。

The weather was nice, and we had plenty of time—three whole hours—at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, which was really great. I thought three hours was just the right amount of time for a group, although I could have spent even more time there. Other places were also wonderful. In particular, Nago Pineapple Park had many blooming orchids, and the atmosphere was lovely. I would love to participate again.

For our first trip to Okinawa, we chose this tour to spend three hours at the Churaumi Aquarium, which my grandchildren love.
Of course, we enjoyed the highlight, the Churaumi Aquarium, but the Nago Pineapple Park exceeded our expectations. I thought the announcements during the journey would only be in a multilingual machine voice, but the tour guide provided explanations in both Japanese and English about the stops and scenic views along the way. Departing from Ishigaki Port, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of mangroves while listening to the fun explanations from our guide on Iriomote Island. I saw rare butterflies and rode a water buffalo across the sea. At that moment, the young man handling the water buffalo played the sanshin and sang, which was moving. The houses on Taketomi Island were incredibly beautiful structures. I was strolling around the island on foot, but I was sticky with sweat from my pants and shirt. I recommend using a rental bicycle. Next time, I want to visit Hateruma Island, which I haven't been to yet.
