I participated in a day trip from Ishigaki Island. I took the designated ferry at the specified time for the outbound trip and returned on the last ferry at 17:30. The 16:30 ferry would also work, but it might be a bit rushed, so I would recommend the 17:30 one.

The tour itself was amazing!! There were even small children (around 5 years old) participating.

I participated in Gakki's tour. She shared many interesting stories about Iriomote Island, and she was incredibly beautiful and cute. Her sense of photography was also outstanding, with all the pictures being gorgeous! I didn't go to the cave, so I can't comment on that, but I think choosing snorkeling was definitely the right decision, as I was able to swim in the beautiful sea that I had seen in stories, and I was so excited! I even got to meet Nemo! The mangroves were so much fun... I want to stay overnight on Iriomote Island next time! Thank you very much!

Unfortunately, we couldn't access Hatoma Island due to COVID, but the harbor was already a lovely spot. The lunch bento was amazing, with perfectly seasoned rice balls! It was a small group tour with a wonderful guide captain. I would love to join again!!

In the morning, I participated in a snorkeling activity, and in the afternoon, I did stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) in the mangroves!

The snorkeling was amazing, with beautiful fish and coral. Even as a near first-timer, I was able to enjoy it easily thanks to the life jacket. We swam at two spots, including Baras Island, so I got to see various underwater scenery, and I was deeply moved when I saw a sea turtle swimming up close at the end!

In the afternoon, the mangrove experience was great too. They carefully taught us how to paddle and ride, making it easy for beginners like me! I felt connected to nature in a way I usually can't, and I was healed by the natural plants and animals around the Kuura Falls!

Overall, I think it was a truly fulfilling tour that filled my heart throughout the day! The guide's explanations and the many photos we received afterward became wonderful memories.

I joined this tour as a solo traveler on a tight schedule, but the other participants and the guide were so kind that I was able to enjoy it fully on my own! Thank you very much!

In the morning, we went snorkeling at Barasu Island. Our guide, Kaz, was very kind and explained everything in detail. There were two snorkeling spots, and at the first spot, we saw plenty of coral and fish. The next stop at Barasu Island had an astonishing level of transparency, and we were lucky enough to land there, which was breathtaking! Even though I participated without a camera, Kaz kindly sent us photos later, which was very appreciated.

After our lunch break, we experienced canoeing through the mangroves. We got off partway and took a short walk to a waterfall, which was refreshing. Our guide, Shimicchan, was all smiles and shared interesting information about Iriomote Island. He also took photos for us here.

On the way back, we were able to take a shower in a large changing room at the office, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. I am filled with gratitude for the wonderful guides!

The conversations during the bus ride and throughout the experience were entertaining, making the time enjoyable from the start! During the experience, he shared information about the plants, and whenever we observed something curiously, he quickly explained it, which made me happy to learn more about Iriomote Island! At the end, when the waves turned against us and we were struggling to move forward, he immediately came to our aid and helped us, allowing us to finish comfortably. He was so cool! His attentiveness, communication, and consideration for others were truly wonderful, and he was a guide who didn’t seem like the youngest at all! I wish him all the best in his future endeavors! It was a canoe course around Yufu Island. There were more trees than I expected, and it was challenging to paddle through the jungle, haha. Not only during the canoeing but also during the car ride, I enjoyed the discussions about the wildlife of Iriomote and how the ditches and roads are designed for them! I also received recommendations for good restaurants in Ishigaki and Iriomote!

Due to the rain that fell from the night before, the river swelled! The original plan was quickly revised to include cave exploration and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). The cave exploration was as thrilling as what you see on TV! It was my first experience wading into the river up to my chin. As for SUP, I struggled a bit during practice, but once I tried it, it was easy and fun! The water submersion after the battle was also a memorable experience, haha. I'm grateful to the staff who worked hard to make the unpredictable weather enjoyable! I had a great time.

In a word, I highly recommend this fun-filled tour.

It was my first time seeing mangroves, and my wife and I leisurely paddled along in a canoe. The guide was fantastic and took a lot of photos for us. It rained a bit, just a light drizzle, but it added to the nice atmosphere.

For lunch, we went to a local restaurant at our own expense (as mentioned in the tour description). I'm glad I brought cash.

In the afternoon, we took a boat to Balas Island for snorkeling. Since we wore life jackets, we didn't sink. The water was clear, there were corals, and we even saw fish from the movie Finding Nemo. The guide took many photos during this time as well. I borrowed prescription goggles for snorkeling, which allowed me to see the fish clearly. I also rented a wetsuit, which helped keep me warm when returning to the boat after snorkeling.
