Sightseeing Tours

Hat an interesting tour! While I speak some Japanese the rest of my family does not. I did my best to translate what I could, but I know we missed out on a lot of the interesting facts about the water buffalo and the tr... moreadition and origin story of this interesting mode of transport. We wished we had also understood more about the mangroves.

The boat trip along the mangroves on Nakata river on Iriomote Jima was very nice. Outstanding was the excursion with the buffalo cart towards Yubu Jima.

Very well organised. It was a good way to see three islands in a day with the option of spending more or less time walking around Taketomi. The lunch was good too. Perhaps critical information such as the time to reassem... moreble could be shown with numbers so that it is clear to non-Japanese speakers.

The day was windy and we had to fight against the wind in the widest place of the mangrove but nothing too difficult. A little bit of rain at some times. All in all you it helped you feel the nature. The guide gave us wo... morenderful explanations on the ecosystem. The experience was great, with a friendly group and guide.
In the afternoon, weather improved and the same guide lead us to the river where we could enjoy a safe canyoning experience for beginners. It was amazing and so much fun.
Thanks for everyone who made it possible to enjoy those activities in the wild of Iriomote island.

It was a really nice experience and very romantic and tranquil. Star gazing was really fun. As person, who lives in a big city in Europe, I don't get the chance to see so many stars. Guide was very friendly and savvy.
