I had a great time with the sightseeing at Yubu Island and beach snorkeling. On the bus heading to Yubu Island, the guide shared many interesting stories about Iriomote Island and the creatures that live there.

Although we only had 50 minutes on Yubu Island, we were able to see water buffalo and many colorful flowers, and we enjoyed a delicious gelato while strolling around. Riding the water buffalo cart while listening to the sound of the sanshin was very pleasant.

In the afternoon, my 6-year-old daughter was a bit scared since it was her first snorkeling experience in a year, but the guides, Abe-chan and Yumi-chan, were very kind and gently encouraged her, saying, "You can hold onto the float—let's have fun!" This helped the whole family relax and enjoy the experience. My daughter even whispered, "That was so much fun..." as she reflected on the day.

由布島へ向かうバスの車内ではガイドさんが西表島のことや西表に住む生き物たちのお話をたくさんしてくださって面白かったです。
由布島では滞在時間50分とそんなに長くはなかったのですが、水牛やカラフルなお花をたくさん見られたり、美味しいジェラートを食べながら散策することができました。水牛車は三線の音色を聴きながら揺られて、すごく心地よかったです。
午後は６歳の娘が1年ぶりのシュノーケリングだったので少し怖がっていたのですが、ガイドのあべちゃんもゆみちゃんもとっても優しくて、穏やかに「浮き輪につかまっていいよ〜楽しんでいこ〜」と声を掛けてくれて家族みんなリラックスして楽しめました。
娘も「めっちゃ楽しかった…」と余韻に浸ってしみじみと呟いていました。笑
楽しい時間をありがとうございました！
あと、忘れ物をしてしまったのですが、丁寧に対応頂き家族一同感激しております。本当にありがとうございました。

Despite the strong winds caused by the typhoon, my experience was amazing from start to finish thanks to our guide, Abe-chan! Since it was high tide, we were also guided to the hard course, allowing us to have a unique experience that can only be done here. On the way back, Abe-chan spotted a "crowned eagle" and created an opportunity for the tour participants to observe it, making it an incredible experience all around! Next time I visit Iriomote Island, I want to challenge myself with a SUP tour here.

We participated as a family of four, with two daughters (one in 4th grade and the other in 2nd grade). From the departure point, we went through the turnaround point to the goal, and it was a solid distance. We enjoyed the experience together, feeling excited and returning to our childhood! Personally, the sunlight filtering through the mangrove forest was incredibly beautiful and became an unforgettable experience. My 2nd-grade daughter was able to paddle with an adult paddle all the way to the end, so I think elementary school students have no problem physically. The experience of maneuvering the canoe together while struggling was very rewarding. The guide provided slow and careful support, and shared stories about the nature and lifestyle of Iriomote Island at various points, making it a very enjoyable and educational time.

夫婦、子供二人(小4、小2ともに女の子)で参加させていただきました。
出発から折り返し地点を経由してゴールまで、しっかりと距離もあって、子供と一緒にドキドキしながら童心に帰って楽しめました！！個人的には、マングローブの森の中で見た木漏れ日がとても綺麗で忘れられない体験になりました。
小2の娘も大人用パドルで、最後まで漕げたので、小学生であれば十分体力的にも問題ないと思います。四苦八苦しながら一緒に協力しあってカヌーを操縦する体験はとてもいい経験になりました。

As the typhoon approached, I signed up at the last minute, but due to strong winds, we switched to canyoning. Following the reliable Captain Macchan, we made our way through the forest, descending to the river to jump off rocks and slide down like on a slide. It was a fun activity with a sense of unity as we cheered each other on with other groups! We also took lots of photos and videos, creating wonderful memories of Iriomote Island!

In the afternoon, we had a course set for Yufu Island, but unfortunately, it was temporarily closed due to the typhoon. When I consulted with Captain Macchan, he suggested a tour around Iriomote Island. Thanks to him, we were able to explore every corner of Iriomote Island, which turned out to be great! Thank you for your flexible support.

I’ll come back to play again when the weather is nice!

I was worried about the mangrove canoe tour in the light rain, but it was actually the best!
Even though it was July, it wasn't too hot or too cold, and the river flow was gentle, allowing us to enjoy canoeing very comfortably.
During the bus ride and throughout the tour, our guides Yume and Yumi taught us a lot about Iriomote Island, mangroves, and the creatures that inhabit the area, which was very educational!
Both adults and elementary school children were extremely satisfied.

The staff's warm and attentive hospitality was truly remarkable! They were considerate in every detail, yet it felt so natural. While this may be a daily occurrence for the staff, for me, it might only happen once in a lifetime… and I really enjoyed it! Of course, the snorkeling with the coral, sea turtles, and Nemo, etc., was explained thoroughly, and I received valuable information that created precious memories. I am sincerely grateful. I was a bit anxious about snorkeling for the first time at my age, but with the guidance provided, I was able to enjoy it. The beautiful sea was filled with colorful fish, and a sea turtle even came close enough that I felt like I could touch it. We also landed on Palau Island and were able to take wonderful photos.

When the ferry schedule was moved up earlier than planned, I consulted with them, and they kindly adjusted the start time. I was also allowed to use the shower, which made it pleasant to board the ferry.

Despite many tours being canceled due to heavy rain from the previous day, we were offered flexible options: "Since the snorkeling is off due to the murky sea, we can go to Pinai Sara Falls, 1) finish in half a day, 2) include cave exploration, 3) head to Yubu Island, etc. What would you like to do?"

The Pinai Sara Falls were impressive due to the increased water flow from the rain! I felt fortunate to hear, "You rarely see such a powerful waterfall." In the morning, we went kayaking to Pinai Sara Falls and trekking in the forest, and in the afternoon, we did snorkeling at Barasu Island.

First, we moved from the meeting point to the tour company, packed only the necessary items into a mini backpack, and set off.

The forest leading to the falls had many muddy areas and puddles, so we walked in water shoes provided by the company.

We reached the falls by kayaking and trekking, and our guide shared information about the island and plants, making the journey enjoyable throughout.

Upon arriving at the falls, those who wanted to could swim in the plunge pool and jump into it. Looking up from the plunge pool, the view of Pinai Sara Falls was breathtaking. The lunch of rice balls and fried chicken enjoyed in the great outdoors was also delicious.

In the afternoon, we went snorkeling at Barasu Island. Since there were no beginners in snorkeling, there were no special instructions, and we could swim freely around the boat at each point. (Barasu Island landing + turtle point, table coral point)

We were able to see several sea turtles up close, and at the table coral point, we spotted colorful fish, including the palette surgeonfish.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sea and mountains of Iriomote Island in one day!

ピナイサーラ滝までの森は、地面がぐちゃぐちゃした部分や水たまりも多いので、貸してもらえるウォーターシューズで歩きました。

滝までは、カヤックとトレッキングで向かい、ガイドさんに島のことや植物のことなど、教えてもらいながら終始楽しく移動できました。

滝まで到着すると、希望者は、滝つぼで少し泳ぎ、滝つぼへのジャンプもしました。
滝つぼから上を見上げて見える、ピナイサーラの滝は迫力満点でした。
大自然の中で食べるお昼のおにぎりと唐揚げも美味しかったです。

午後はバラス島シュノーケリングでした。
シュノーケリングは初めての方もいなかったので、特に説明等はなく、各ポイントにつくと自由に船の周辺で泳ぐような形式でした。
(バラス島上陸＋ウミガメポイント、テーブルサンゴのポイント)

ウミガメについてはものすごく近くで数匹見ることができ、テーブルサンゴのポイントでは、カラフルな魚たち、ナンヨウハギも見ることができました。

1日で西表島の海と山を楽し無事ができました！

Along the way, they explained some rare creatures and plants. The lunch they prepared at Pinai Sara Falls was delicious 🤤 It was the best. On Balas Island, the conversations between the owner and the newcomer, as well as between the old turtle and the newcomer, were enjoyable and very healing. Balas Island 🏝️ was truly full of coral. I was a bit anxious about snorkeling 🤿 since it was my first experience, but I gradually got used to it, and when I saw a sea turtle, I couldn't help but shout.
