In the morning, I went canyoneering for the first time with Komachan and Matsuko-san!

I was really nervous about the jumps, but once I jumped in, it was refreshing and so much fun. The river activities that I can't experience in Tokyo left a lasting impression.

The water was cold, but since the outside temperature was warm, I hardly felt cold and was able to enjoy it until the end!

I was also happy to interact with hermit crabs and a lot of tadpoles, and to play in the river while encountering fish and other creatures at my feet.

In the afternoon, I joined a mangrove canoe tour with Kajisan and Matsuko-san.

I was soaked and chilled from the rain in the morning, but the warmth of the water and the physical activity of canoeing made me feel pleasantly tired without freezing!

It was fun to see the tunnel for the Iriomote wildcat that can only be seen at low tide, interact with round crabs, and plant mangroves.

At the rainwater waterfall, the experience unique to the rain and the ability to focus on the fun, even while getting muddy and soaked, was something that could only happen because it was raining! The heavy rain on the way back was quite rare, and I was glad to experience it before the shower!

All three of us were very satisfied with the guides and support. I would love to join another tour when I come back to Iriomote Island.

午前中はこまちゃん×まつこさんと初めてのキャニオング！

飛び込みはすっごくドキドキしたけど飛び込んじゃうと爽快でとても楽しかったです。
東京では体験できない川遊びがとても思い出に残りました。

水は冷たかったですが外の気温が暖かいので寒さはほとんどなく最後まで楽しむことができました！

ヤドカリや大量のおたまじゃくしと触れ合ったり、川の中では足元に川魚と生き物と触れ合いながら遊べたのも嬉しかったです。



午後はかじさん×まつこさんとのマングローブ・カヌーツアー

午前中でずぶ濡れ+雨で冷え切っていましたが水中の暖かさと体力仕事のカヌー体験で凍えずに良い感じの疲労感でした！

干潮時ならではのイリオモテヤマネコ用のトンネル拝見や丸いカニとの触れ合い、マングローブ植えが楽しかったです。

雨水滝では雨ならではの体験や泥まみれになってもずぶ濡れになってもどうせ雨だし！と楽しさに集中できるのは雨だからこそでした！！帰り際の豪雨はなかなか珍しいレベルだったらしく、シャワー前に豪雨を体験できてよかったです！！


３人ともガイドやサポートも丁寧でとても満足しました。また西表島に来た時はツアーに参加したいです。

The mangrove SUP tour in Iriomote Island was a wonderful experience that allowed us to fully enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature. The guide provided detailed explanations about the ecology of the mangroves and the flora and fauna, which deepened our knowledge. In particular, during the season when the Sagarihana flowers flow, we could enjoy a magical atmosphere.

Additionally, the photos taken during the tour were sent to us later as data, allowing us to preserve our memories. It was the perfect activity to refresh both body and mind in the great outdoors of Iriomote Island. Next time, I would like to try other activities such as waterfall trekking.

西表島のマングローブSUPツアーは、自然の美しさと静けさを存分に味わえる素晴らしい体験でした。ガイドの方がマングローブの生態や動植物について詳しく説明してくださり、知識も深まりました。特に、サガリバナの花が流れてくるシーズンには、幻想的な雰囲気を楽しめるとのことです。
また、ツアー中に撮影していただいた写真も後日データで送ってくださり、思い出を形に残すことができました。西表島の大自然の中で、心身ともにリフレッシュできる最高のアクティビティでした。次回は、滝トレッキングなど他のアクティビティにも挑戦してみたいと思います。

My first mangrove SUP experience was amazing! Paddling slowly on the calm water while moving through the mangroves felt so good. It was a moment where I could forget about everyday life and feel immersed in nature. The guide was very kind, and I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind! I want to do it again!

I was anxious about snorkeling for the first time, but the clear explanations made me feel at ease and I was able to participate in the tour confidently! The tour guide explained various things, making it a very enjoyable snorkeling experience. Since it wasn't low tide at Balas Island, we landed with water up to our ankles. The coral was beautiful, and when I looked closely, there were many fish swimming around. I didn't see any sea turtles. Since we were on the same boat as about 20 people from other plans of the same tour company, it wasn't a private tour, but I still had a great time.

初めてのシュノーケルで不安でしたが、わかりやすく説明してくれて安心してツアーに参加することができました！
ツアーガイドさんがさまざまなことを説明してくれてとても楽しいシュノーケルになりました。バラス島は干潮の時間ではなかったので足首がつかる程度で上陸しました。
サンゴが綺麗で珊瑚をよく見ると魚がたくさん泳いでました。ウミガメは見えませんでした。
同じツアー会社の他のプランと同じ船に乗る(20人ぐらい)ので、プライベート感のあるツアーではありません。それでも楽しめました。

Our tour consisted of four people: two in a canoe and two on a SUP. The weather was cloudy and pleasantly cool.

The hotel pick-up was smooth, but once we arrived at the spot, we found water inside the canoe and had to wait for a replacement. As a result, the tour started about 30-40 minutes late, but we moved from the sea to the river on the canoe/SUP, got off to walk and explore up to the waterfall, and despite getting soaked in the rain along the way, it turned out to be a wilder experience than we expected, lasting just over two hours.

私たち(2人)はカヌー、もう2名はSUPの4名でのツアーでした。天気は曇り、涼しいくらいの気温。

ホテルの送迎はスムーズでしたが、スポットに移動したらカヌーの中に水が入っており、交換を待たなければいけないアクシデントが。そのためツアー時間が30-40分ほど後ろ倒しになりましたが、海→川をカヌー/SUPで移動し、一度降りてその先の滝まで歩いて探検と、途中雨も降ってずぶ濡れになりながら思っていたよりはワイルドな2時間強となりました。

I thoroughly enjoyed canoeing and experiencing nature in the mangrove environment of Iriomote Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site! The guide was consistently friendly and helpful from the pick-up to the end of the tour. It’s a valuable experience, so if you’re unsure, I think you should definitely participate!

世界自然遺産である西表島のマングローブの自然環境の中でカヌーと自然体験を満喫出来ました！
ガイドさんは送迎からツアー終了まで一貫してフレンドリーで親切に対応して頂けました。
貴重な体験になるので、もし迷ったら参加してみたら良いと思います。

Despite many tours being canceled due to heavy rain from the previous day, we were offered flexible options: "Since the snorkeling is off due to the murky sea, we can go to Pinai Sara Falls, 1) finish in half a day, 2) include cave exploration, 3) head to Yubu Island, etc. What would you like to do?"

The Pinai Sara Falls were impressive due to the increased water flow from the rain! I felt fortunate to hear, "You rarely see such a powerful waterfall." Canoeing was not difficult, but the trekking involved ups and downs, and we had to wade through the flowing water. Those who aren't used to exercising might find it physically demanding.

In the afternoon, after having lunch, we were allowed to go on a "cave exploration." The natural limestone cave was completely different from the touristy ones, and it was also flooded, so we explored while wading up to our knees, which felt like a true "great adventure." This was more thrilling than snorkeling, and in the end, it was exciting, so I think it turned out well.

前日からのガッツリ雨で中止となるツアーも多い中、こちらは「シュノーケリングは海が濁ってしまっているのでなし、ピナイサーラの滝に行って、1) 半日で終わり、2) +洞窟探検、3) +由布島に向かう、などできますがどうしますか？」といくつかフレキシブルにオプションを提示してもらいました。
ピナイサーラの滝は雨で増水していたので大迫力！「こんなに激しい滝はめったにない」と言ってもらえたのでそれはそれで得した気分でした。カヌーは難しさもなかったですが、トレッキングはアップダウンがあり、水の流れにもじゃぶじゃぶ入りながら進んでいきます。運動してない人は体力使うかも。
お弁当を食べての午後は「洞窟探検」をさせてもらいました。自然のままの鍾乳洞は観光地化されたそれとはまったく様子が違い、またこちらも増水していて膝下まで浸かりながら鍾乳洞をくぐりながらの探検で、文字通り「大冒険」といった感じでした。シュノーケリングよりこちらのほうがスリリングで、結果ワクワクできたのでよかったかもです。

Although the cloudy sky prevented us from seeing a starry night, it was an incredibly fulfilling night tour that made us forget about it. Watching the sunset and the sky gradually darkening from the river was truly magical.

Paddling through the calm waters in a kayak, we explored the nighttime mangrove forest. The sounds of birds and the sight of bats flying around were exhilarating!

What impressed me the most were the bioluminescent plankton. The shimmering surface of the water felt like we were in another world.

Even without stars, it was a wonderful experience that allowed us to fully appreciate the mysteries of nature. If you visit Iriomote Island, I highly recommend joining this tour!

あいにくの曇り空で満天の星空は見られなかったものの、それを忘れさせてくれるほど充実したナイトツアーでした。
日が沈み、空が徐々に暗くなっていく様子を川の上から眺める時間はとても幻想的。
静かな水面をカヤックで進みながら、夜のマングローブ林を探検。鳥の鳴き声や、コウモリが飛び交う姿が間近に見られて大興奮！
そして、何より感動したのは夜光虫。水面がきらめくその光景はまるで別世界にいるようでした。
星がなくても、十分に自然の神秘を体感できる素晴らしい体験でした。西表島に行くならぜひ参加してほしいツアーです！

I wasn't very comfortable with the ocean, but the guide was incredibly kind and attentive, providing guidance, lectures, and support, which allowed me to have a wonderfully enjoyable day.

During snorkeling, it seemed to be a sea snake day, and I saw about five swimming around. The photos were taken by the guide. The bleached coral was quite noticeable, but I've heard it's slowly starting to recover.

In the mangrove forest, I felt lucky to receive a deep and insightful lecture from the guide, who is actively involved in nature conservation. On the way back, we were able to use a shower, which was very comfortable.

They prioritized our safety, so I felt at ease and plan to come back next year. Thank you very much.

　海が苦手でしたがガイドの方がとても親切丁寧に案内・レクチャー・フォローをしてくださったので一日最高に楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
　シュノーケリングでは海蛇dayだったようで5匹くらい泳いでいるところを見ました。写真はガイドの方が撮ってくださったものです。白骨化した珊瑚が目立ちましたが少しずつ息を吹き返しているそうです。
　マングローブの森ではガイドの方が自然保護を率先してくださっているんだなと感じ取れる深みのあるレクチャーを受けられてラッキーでした。帰りはシャワーも使うことができ快適でした。
　私達の安全を重視してくださったので不安もなくまた来年もお世話になろうと思います。ありがとうございました。

It was an incredibly fun tour!! The canoeing was also a blast, and the guides were very cheerful throughout the tour! I would love to do it again next time!!

It was my first time, but I was able to paddle a canoe thanks to the explanation provided. I think I was slow and not very stable, but they gave me advice with a smile. They also let me get off the canoe and enjoy myself along the way. Thank you very much.

I had always viewed the Pinai Sara Falls from a distance. I felt I had to visit this iconic waterfall on Iriomote Island, so I joined a tour. The kayaking was relaxed and enjoyable, but the trekking was quite challenging. Along the way, we received detailed introductions to various trees, flowers, and creatures, and the guide was attentive to our fatigue, adjusting the pace accordingly, which helped us reach the summit. The view from there revealed a completely different world.

For lunch, we had homemade soki soba, which was delicious. After lunch, we headed to the waterfall basin, which involved another somewhat strenuous trek. (The way there had a lot of uphill, while the return was mostly downhill.) However, the moment we arrived at the waterfall basin, the fatigue vanished as we were enveloped by the waterfall's power.

The mochi we had as a snack was quite tasty. Everything, including the leaves, was handmade from ingredients grown on the property, giving it a heartfelt flavor.

With the guide's thoughtful attention, I highly recommend this tour.

今まで、ずっと遠めにみていたピナイサーラの滝。
西表島の象徴的な滝に行かねばと思い、参加しました。
カヤックはゆるゆるでいい感じでしたが、トレッキングはなかなかのハード。
途中に色々な木々やお花、生き物の紹介など丁寧にしてくれましたし、しんどいのを察してくれて、ちゃんとペースを合わせてくれたので、なんとか頂上まで達成。
そこから見える景色はまた違った世界でした。

お昼はお手製のソーキそば。これも美味しかったです。
昼食後は、滝つぼに。これまた、少しハードめのトレッキング。
（行きは、登りが多く、帰りは、下りが多い）
でも、滝つぼに来た瞬間その疲れも吹っ飛ぐらいの滝パワーを浴びることができました。

おやつにいただいた、ムーチはなかなかの美味。
葉っぱも敷地内にできたものとすべて手作りで心のこもった味でした。

ガイドさんの気配りがたくさんあるのでお勧めのツアーですよ。

It was a beautiful and warm day, so it was the most luxurious time while leisurely paddling the canoe. The guide was knowledgeable and talked non-stop, explaining various things from start to finish. I want to go back to see the guide again.

天気良く暖かい日だったので、カヌーをゆっくり漕いでいる時が最高に贅沢な時間でした。
ガイドの方が博学で、最初から最後まで話しっぱなしな位色々と説明してくれました。
またガイドさんに会いに行きたいです。

In the morning, we went kayaking to Pinai Sara Falls and trekking in the forest, and in the afternoon, we did snorkeling at Barasu Island.

First, we moved from the meeting point to the tour company, packed only the necessary items into a mini backpack, and set off.

The forest leading to the falls had many muddy areas and puddles, so we walked in water shoes provided by the company.

We reached the falls by kayaking and trekking, and our guide shared information about the island and plants, making the journey enjoyable throughout.

Upon arriving at the falls, those who wanted to could swim in the plunge pool and jump into it. Looking up from the plunge pool, the view of Pinai Sara Falls was breathtaking. The lunch of rice balls and fried chicken enjoyed in the great outdoors was also delicious.

In the afternoon, we went snorkeling at Barasu Island. Since there were no beginners in snorkeling, there were no special instructions, and we could swim freely around the boat at each point. (Barasu Island landing + turtle point, table coral point)

We were able to see several sea turtles up close, and at the table coral point, we spotted colorful fish, including the palette surgeonfish.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sea and mountains of Iriomote Island in one day!

午前はピナイサーラの滝までのカヤックと森のトレッキング、午後はバラス島シュノーケリングでした。

まず集合場所からツアー会社まで移動し、
必要なものだけ貸してもらえるウォーターバックをミニリュックに詰め込み、出発しました。

ピナイサーラ滝までの森は、地面がぐちゃぐちゃした部分や水たまりも多いので、貸してもらえるウォーターシューズで歩きました。

滝までは、カヤックとトレッキングで向かい、ガイドさんに島のことや植物のことなど、教えてもらいながら終始楽しく移動できました。

滝まで到着すると、希望者は、滝つぼで少し泳ぎ、滝つぼへのジャンプもしました。
滝つぼから上を見上げて見える、ピナイサーラの滝は迫力満点でした。
大自然の中で食べるお昼のおにぎりと唐揚げも美味しかったです。

午後はバラス島シュノーケリングでした。
シュノーケリングは初めての方もいなかったので、特に説明等はなく、各ポイントにつくと自由に船の周辺で泳ぐような形式でした。
(バラス島上陸＋ウミガメポイント、テーブルサンゴのポイント)

ウミガメについてはものすごく近くで数匹見ることができ、テーブルサンゴのポイントでは、カラフルな魚たち、ナンヨウハギも見ることができました。

1日で西表島の海と山を楽し無事ができました！

There were two guides. The veteran followed the newcomer, which made us feel at ease. They were well aware of the highlights and also pointed out great spots for photos. Along the way, they explained some rare creatures and plants. The lunch they prepared at Pinai Sara Falls was delicious 🤤 It was the best. On Balas Island, the conversations between the owner and the newcomer, as well as between the old turtle and the newcomer, were enjoyable and very healing. Balas Island 🏝️ was truly full of coral. I was a bit anxious about snorkeling 🤿 since it was my first experience, but I gradually got used to it, and when I saw a sea turtle, I couldn't help but shout. I definitely want to go again if I have the chance.

ガイドさんは2人。ベテランが新人さんをフォローして私達も安心できました。しっかり見所を把握されていて、写真のポイントも教えてくれます。途中で珍しい生物や植物も説明してくれます。ピナイサーラの滝で準備してくれていた昼食の美味しいこと🤤最高でした。バラス島では、オーナーさんと新人さんで、カメ爺さんと新人さんの会話は楽しくてとても癒されます♪バラス島🏝️本当に珊瑚が沢山でした。シュノーケリング🤿初体験で不安でしたが段々と慣れて、ウミガメを観れた時は思わず叫びました。また機会があれば是非行きたいです。

The weather was perfect, and it was the best. The guide's explanations were easy to understand and very kind. I want to come again.

I went on a long-awaited experience dive, and the staff guided me carefully, allowing me to dive with peace of mind. I had a great time encountering various sea creatures.

There were a few clouds, but Mars, Jupiter, and various constellations, especially Gemini, were clearly visible. It was very beautiful, and I hope to see a clear starry sky next time.

I viewed Iriomote Island from the sea! I wanted to land next time, so I went ashore this time. I usually play in the sea, but I did trekking for the first time 🙋🏻‍♀️ Since it was my first time, I felt at ease because I was able to discuss various plans in advance after contacting them beforehand.

They matched my pace, and I was able to see, touch, and feel the nature of Iriomote Island in the forest! I was moved by an experience that I usually can't have 🥹 There were some steep paths along the way, but the moment I saw Yutsun Falls, all my fatigue disappeared, and I was amazed by the magnificent scale 🤣

I was also able to go to the top of the falls, where I enjoyed delicious yushi tofu soba and hot coffee after the meal ☕️ It was truly a natural sky restaurant 🍽️ It was the most delicious food I've ever had 😋

Thanks to the friendly staff's thoughtful arrangements and their genuine desire for us to have fun, I felt motivated to work hard myself ✨

Thank you so much for this precious experience! I hope to visit Iriomote Island again in the future 🙇🏻‍♂️

海から見ていた西表島！次は上陸したい！！と思い今回上陸し、いつもは海で遊んでいますが初めてトレッキングをしました🙋🏻‍♀️初めてだったのでプライベートツアー

ペースも合わせて頂き、森の中で西表島の自然を見て、触って、感じて！普段感じたりすることが出来ない体験に感動しました🥹
途中険しい道もありましたが、ユツンの滝を見た瞬間疲れは吹き飛び、圧巻のスケールに唖然🤣
滝上にも行けるとのことで滝上に登り
そこで美味しいゆし豆腐そばと食後のホットコーヒー☕️まさに自然の天空レストラン🍽️
今まで食べた料理の中で何よりも美味しかったです😋

私と妻はとても楽しい時間を過ごしました！天気は曇りでしたが、ガイドの太郎さんが私たちのアクティビティを完璧にしてくれました。またいつかやりたいです。

We were blessed with great weather and had a comfortable time. Thank you for a wonderful day filled with canoeing for the first time in 10 years, trekking up large rocks, magnificent waterfalls, and being surrounded by wild turtles and tropical plants. I also appreciate the quick responses to my questions before departure, and the facility we visited after the tour was spacious, very clean, and made for easy tidying up. Additionally, when we went to the supermarket you recommended before boarding the ferry, we found souvenirs that were more affordable than those in Ishigaki Island. Thank you very much!

10年振りに漕いだカヌー、大きな岩を登るトレッキング、豪快な滝、野生のカメや南国の植物に囲まれた楽しい日をありがとうございました。
出発前の質問にも迅速にご回答いただいたり、ツアー後に立ち寄った施設も、広くてとても綺麗で片付けがはかどりました。　また、帰りのフェリー乗船前に教えていただいたスーパーに行くと、石垣島よりお得なお土産が販売していました。

The canoeing experience, trekking, and waterfall diving were all fun and precious moments! It started to rain heavily at one point, but that too was enjoyable and felt very jungle-like, and the greenery of the wet plants was incredibly beautiful. Our guide, Mr. Hoshi, was kind and reliable, sharing many interesting stories and giving us tips on how to walk. The soba we had at the top of the waterfall was also very delicious! This was my first visit to Iriomote Island for our honeymoon, and it has become a favorite island that I definitely want to revisit! I would love to join Mr. Hoshi's tour again.

The weather was perfect, and I had a fulfilling experience with morning canoeing and trekking, followed by an afternoon visit to Yufu Island. The canoeing and trekking had just the right level of difficulty and duration, and reaching the waterfall gave a sense of accomplishment. The lunch enjoyed in front of the impressive waterfall was delicious as well. I also had a relaxing time at Yufu Island.

During the tour and while moving around, the guide shared various stories about the flora and fauna and life on Iriomote Island, making the experience enjoyable.

天気にも恵まれ、午前のカヌーとトレッキング、午後の由布島まで、充実した体験ができました。
カヌーとトレッキングはちょうど良いハードさと時間で、滝に着くと達成感があります。
迫力ある滝を目の前に食べるお弁当も、美味しかったです。
由布島もゆったりと楽しめました。

ツアー中や移動中も、動植物や西表島での生活など、ガイドさんが様々なことをお話してくれるので、楽しく過ごせました。

We were taken to various spots where we could see sea turtles, beautiful coral, and plenty of fish. We had ample time to dive at each location, making for a very fulfilling snorkeling experience. Due to the tides, Barasu Island was more visible in the afternoon than in the morning, so we were able to stop by again on our way back, allowing us to enjoy it twice.

The captain was very friendly and made the trip enjoyable. He also provided delicious lunch boxes, tea, and brown sugar. The staff kindly called us the night before to inform us that the Ishigaki-Uehara port was canceled, advising us to take the ferry to Ohara port instead, which was excellent service. We were also able to use the shower at our accommodation, which was equipped with shampoo and conditioner, making it very convenient.

I definitely plan to recommend this to my friends.

海亀が見られるスポット、サンゴが綺麗なスポット、魚がたくさんいるスポット…色んな所に船を回してくださり、それぞれ潜る時間もしっかりあったので、とても充実したシュノーケルを楽しむことができました。バラス島は潮の満ち引きの関係で午前よりも午後の方が浮き出てきたので、帰路にも寄ってくださって、二度楽しめました。
また、船長さんがとても気さくな方で楽しく、お昼も美味しいお弁当やお茶、黒糖など用意してくださっていました。前日の夜には、石垣ー上原港が欠航したため当日は大原港行きに乗るようスタッフの方からご丁寧に電話も頂き、サービスも最高でした。宿のシャワーをお借りすることもでき、シャンプー・リンスなども完備されていたのでとても有り難かったです。
ぜひ友人にも勧めようと思います。

On a clear day, I enjoyed canoeing through the refreshing mangroves, feeling the excitement at the top of the waterfall, and relaxing at the pleasant waterfall basin while listening to our cheerful guide, Hoshi. I had a wonderful half-day experience. Although I was a bit anxious at first about the mountain path, I encountered some rare plants and animals while soaking in the negative ions, which made the difficulties disappear. Thank you very much!

快晴の中、気持ち良いマングローブの中をカヌー、ドキドキの滝上、気持ち良い滝坪を愉快なガイドのホシさんのお話を伺いながら、楽しい半日を過ごす事ができました。山道もはじめは少し不安でしたが、マイナスイオンを浴びながら途中珍しい動植物とも出会え、苦しさも吹き飛びました。

The instructor was very kind and provided detailed guidance, and I enjoyed the delicious onigiri. I had a great time spending more than half a day there. It became the best day on Iriomote Island and created wonderful memories. I'm glad I participated. I highly recommend it.

I participated in snorkeling at Barasu Island and sightseeing at Yufu Island. Although I joined alone, I was well taken care of by the guide Shotaro and the other participants, and I had a wonderful time, feeling very grateful. The coral reefs at Barasu Island were truly amazing and left me in awe. In the afternoon, I enjoyed a relaxing tour of Yufu Island, where I was taken around by the water buffalo Yuka and Kotaro. It became the best memory of Iriomote Island for me.

I was a bit anxious about whether I would be able to handle the experience due to my age, so I signed up for this. Our guide, Eli, was very kind and taught us a lot. We progressed slowly while learning various things during the trekking, which was great. I was able to swim in the long-awaited waterfall basin, and the rice balls we had afterward were very delicious. It's nice that there was lunch included in the half-day tour. Overall, I was able to spend the time leisurely. Other tours left early. If I have the chance to go again next time, I would like to rely on this service. Thank you very much.

年齢的に体験大丈夫かと不安でしたのでこちらに申し込みしました。ガイドのエリさんがとても親切に教えてくださいました。
トレッキングもいろいろな事を教えて頂きながらゆっくり進んで行ったのでよかったです。

半日ツアーでお昼ご飯があるのはいいですね。
全体的にゆったりと過ごす事ができました。
他のツアーは早く帰られていきました。
