I used the night kayak service. I had some concerns about the weather and reached out, but they quickly checked and got back to me. Although it was cloudy, I enjoyed kayaking slowly while watching the sunset, listening to explanations about the stars, and moving through the mangroves while hearing the sounds of owls. It was truly a unique experience that I wouldn't normally have, and I had a lot of fun. I learned many new things and had a fulfilling time.

I was a bit anxious since it was my first time kayaking, but the guide kindly taught me how to paddle, so I felt comfortable getting on the kayak. Although I couldn't land on Barasu Island due to the passing typhoon, I thoroughly enjoyed the packed itinerary with a mangrove cruise on a stand-up paddleboard, trekking to Kura Falls, and a cave tour.
The cave experience was particularly impressive, as we entered a natural cave without any established paths or lighting, wearing helmets and headlamps. It truly felt like a unique experience that can only be had in Iriomote Island.
I also appreciated that we were able to take many photos. If I have the chance to come back, I will definitely try to land on Barasu Island. Thank you very much.
台風一過ということでバラス島上陸は叶いませんでしたが、SUPでのマングローブクルーズ、クーラの滝までのトレッキングと鍾乳洞ツアーと盛りだくさんでしっかり楽しめました。
特に鍾乳洞は足場も明かりも整備されていない自然のままの洞窟に、ヘルメットとヘッドランプをつけて潜入するというとても本格的なものでした。まさに西表島でしかできない体験の詰め合わせという感じでした。
たくさん写真を撮っていただけたのもありがたかったです。

You can experience a real jungle adventure! It's surprisingly cool as you paddle through the mangroves, enjoying a satisfying tour that takes you around waterfalls and limestone caves on Iriomote Island. The starting point for the canoe ride has such beautiful water that the canoe appeared to be floating in the air. The staff was bright and cheerful, making for a fun day!

My first trip to Ishigaki Island during my last summer vacation in college turned out to be an amazing experience thanks to this tour! At first, I was a bit nervous since the other participants were all men around my age, but our guide, Connie, was very friendly and made it easy for everyone to bond as if we had been friends from the start!
During the tour, we had a great time exploring Iriomote Island while canoeing and trekking, with detailed explanations about the plants and wildlife. We all jumped into the waterfall for photos and took pictures together on Barasu Island; it was a tour that everyone, including the guide, enjoyed!
I highly recommend this tour for anyone going to Iriomote Island!

This is an experience shared by a group of three male university students. In a word, it was amazing.
When it comes to sightseeing in Iriomote Island, many people might hesitate between signing up for a tour or exploring freely. I was quite unsure as well, but I found planning everything myself to be a hassle, so I decided to join this tour. The result was a great success.
To fully enjoy the vast nature of Iriomote Island, the support of a tour company is essential. To circle around the mangroves, you need either a SUP or a canoe, and to land on Barasu Island, a dedicated boat is required. By signing up for this tour, you can have all the equipment arranged for various activities.
Additionally, I could feel the professionalism of the tour guide. I was able to hear fascinating stories about the rare creatures and plants that inhabit Iriomote Island, as well as how various natural phenomena occur. The consideration for fostering camaraderie among participants was also excellent, naturally enhancing conversations throughout the tour.
During lunch, there is about 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time. After being introduced to various diners and cafes on Iriomote Island, we could have lunch on our own. We ate Yaeyama soba (a type of Okinawa soba?) at a local diner frequented by residents of Iriomote Island, and then enjoyed coffee jelly at a café.
You can experience activities that will become lifelong memories three times in one tour. If you plan to visit Iriomote Island, I highly recommend signing up for this tour. The clientele is diverse, and I think groups of university students, couples, and families can all enjoy it.

Captain Kamei took us to various spots. He is someone who has been accustomed to marine activities for a long time, so everyone can enjoy themselves with peace of mind.
We got to see turtles munching on seaweed and were taken to a now-rare red coral spot. It felt like we were playing in Kamei's backyard, which was very relaxing. Along the way, we even encountered a sea snake, which was amazing.

船長の亀井さんより、色々なスポットへ連れていっていただきました。昔から海のアクティビティに慣れている方なので皆さん安心して楽しめます。
藻をむしゃむしゃと食事に夢中の亀や、今や珍しい赤珊瑚スポットにも連れてってくれました。もはや亀井さんの庭で遊んでいるような感覚でリラックスできました。途中ウミヘビにも出会え、最高でした。
珊瑚の状態は石垣島よりもよく、健康体で、こちらにも足を伸ばしてよかったと実感。世界中で珊瑚の減少が問題になっていますが、状態は少しずつよくなっているとのこと。環境の汚染は深刻ですので、この環境、動植物もちろん含めてを守るためにも、地元の方の笑顔が失われないよう、ルールに沿って観光させていただきました。

I have been to Okinawa many times, but I had never been to Iriomote Island. It had been about 20 years since I last swam in the ocean, so I was a little anxious, but the lively talk from our guide, Icchi, eased my worries and I had a great time. Iriomote Island was more of a jungle than I imagined, to the point where I felt a bit of danger! However, each activity was so much fun that it became a lifelong memory. The tour guide was easy to talk to, and they took photos at various spots, sending them to us as an album via LINE after the tour, so those worried about their phones getting wet can rest easy. I think exploring Iriomote Island on your own can be dangerous, so I definitely recommend joining a tour!

I went stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling at Panari Island. It was my first experience with SUP, but they explained everything clearly and patiently, which made me feel at ease and enjoy it! I was able to swim at two snorkeling spots and had a great time! The staff were energetic, and I really enjoyed myself! It turned out to be a day that made me want to come back. Thank you for taking so many photos! ✌️

It was much better than I had imagined! Canoeing while enjoying unique scenery made the time fly by. The tracking allowed us to enjoy the jungle just enough, and I’ve seen many waterfalls before, but it was my first time experiencing such power while entering the basin of the waterfall. From the initial pick-up to the final send-off, the guide was very attentive, and there was nothing lacking in terms of equipment or belongings. I had a guide from Monsoon. They were very accommodating and made me feel relaxed, even though I can't swim at all. I got to see a sea turtle with a deformed shell and various corals, which was really wonderful.
Above all, the rice balls for lunch were exquisite! They had the perfect seasoning and were shaped well, so I was able to eat more than I usually would.

I had my first experience snorkeling, even though I can't swim, and I was amazed by the beauty of the ocean. I was able to see sea turtles and clownfish. The coral reefs were incredibly beautiful. While enjoying various natural sights and the waterfall, we had a bento lunch and felt completely refreshed both physically and mentally. I signed up for this tour because I really wanted to see the coral reef. I arrived by ferry, feeling excited, and a lovely young lady came to greet us. Once we started, she was surprisingly powerful, effortlessly carrying our lunch and large bags through the forest, which I really admired. I wanted to keep up and felt like I was in a movie as we ventured into the jungle. After passing through a thrilling mountain, we were greeted by a magnificent waterfall! It was my first time swimming in a waterfall basin, and it was amazing! We enjoyed delicious rice balls.
Next was the sea. The captain was really cool, and the underwater scenery was breathtaking, with stunning coral that was even more beautiful than I had imagined. Of course, the fish, including Nemo, and the sea turtles were adorable too. You really have to see it with your own eyes! It was a wonderful and perfect tour, and I definitely want to participate again. Thank you very much!

I ended up signing up for this tour based on her idea. The high ratings for the tour content, along with the fact that it included canoeing and trekking, made it seem enjoyable even for outdoor beginners, which was the deciding factor for us.
It seemed that the meeting time on the day of the tour was at 9:30, but it was listed as 9:00 on Veltra, so we ended up calling Monsoon several times after we arrived at Uehara Port. In the midst of this, Monsoon was flexible and responsive, and our guide, Iizuka, came to pick us up at the port.
Our guide, Iizuka, looked like a nice young man from the Yaeyama Islands, but when I asked him, he turned out to be a friendly guy from Niigata City. It seems he has been living in Okinawa for three years, and during that time, he has become more like a local.
Looking back, the tour content was excellent. It was probably just a coincidence, but since there were only the two of us participating, there were moments when we could enjoy the mangrove kayaking and the Pinaisara Falls all to ourselves, which felt very liberating. Additionally, compared to my girlfriend, who is an outdoor enthusiast, I am more of an indoor person who does desk work at home, but I was able to fully enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island without it being physically demanding.
Overall, I am very satisfied! I want to come back and play again!

そうこうしていると、モンスーンさんが臨機応変に対応してくださり、ガイドの飯塚さんが港まで迎えに来てくださいました。
ガイドの飯塚さんは見た目八重山出身の好青年でしたが、聞いてみると内地(新潟市)出身の気さくな方でした。沖縄に移住されてから3年経つようで、その間二重になって沖縄の方っぽくなったみたいです。
振り返ってみると、ツアー内容は最高でした。
たまたまだったとは思いますが、参加者が我々2人だったので所々、マングローブカヤックや、ピナイサーラの滝を独り占めできた瞬間もあり、とても開放的でした。
また、アウトドア派な私の彼女に比べ、家でデスクワークばかりの私のようなインドア派な人間でも、体力的にキツくなく西表島の自然を満喫することができました。
総じて大満足です！また遊びに、来たいです！

It was a tour that allowed us to see all the highlights of Iriomote Island in one day! We were blessed with good weather and followed the schedule perfectly. The stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) was done in a river with a depth of about 50 centimeters, so it was safe even if you fell. It was fun to navigate while avoiding the trees that were stretching right above our heads in the mangroves of Iriomote Island! The guide constantly introduced us to various plants and insects, making the experience enjoyable and time flew by. I think it would be difficult for beginners to explore the mangroves on their own, so I felt it was the right decision to join this tour.
Regarding clothing, while it’s suggested to wear something that can get wet, I think it’s better to wear something like a rash guard top and bottom. I made the mistake of wearing a bikini underneath and a T-shirt and skirt on top that could get wet. In the limestone cave, we had to pass through a narrow area where the ceiling was about 50 centimeters high and the ground was wet. During the tracking, there were some really large bees and spiders that I had never seen before. Fortunately, I wasn’t stung, but I think long sleeves and long pants are safer. The shoes provided were mesh types that you can wear all day, so any footwear is fine. Although it was hot on Iriomote Island, we were mostly walking in water, which kept us cool. At the end, we were also able to use a shower, so we could change.
We stayed at Hoshino Resorts, and they even provided recommendations for accommodations and restaurants for dinner! Thank you for everything!

常にガイドさんが植物や虫の紹介をしてくれるので面白くてあっという間でした。
初心者が自らマングローブを見に行くのは難しいと思います、今回ツアーで参加して正解だったと思いました。
服装についてですが、濡れても良い格好とありますが、できればラッシュガードの上下のようなもので行った方が良いと思います。
ビキニタイプの水着を下に着て、上に濡れても良いTシャツとスカートで行って失敗でした。。。
鍾乳洞では下が水辺で天井が50センチほどの狭いところを通りますし、
トラッキング中は見たことないくらい大きなハチや蜘蛛もいました。幸い刺されるようなことはなかったですが、長袖長ズボンが安全だと思います。
靴はメッシュタイプのものを1日中貸していただけるので、何で行っても大丈夫です。
西表島の暑さはありますが、ほとんど足元が水辺の状態で進むため涼しく過ごせました。
最後にはシャワーも貸していただけるので、着替えもできます。
星野リゾートの宿泊でしたが、宿までの宿泊と夕食のオススメレストランまで教えていただきました！

This was our first time on Iriomote Island, and it turned out to be the best tour! As a couple, we participated in canoeing, trekking, and snorkeling, and here are our impressions:
1. Canoeing
- Although the weather was somewhat cloudy and there was a bit of wind, our guide, Mr. Iwamoto, provided us with appropriate paddling instructions, allowing us to enjoy canoeing without getting too tired. I also remember that while we were paddling, he explained the types of mangroves and vegetation in a very detailed and careful manner, which was very interesting.
2. Trekking

私たちカップルは、カヌー・トレッキング・シュノーケリングに参加しましたが、以下感想です。
1. カヌー
・多少天気が曇っており、少し風もありましたが、ガイドの岩本さんから適切に漕ぎ方を指示頂き、さほど疲れることなくカヌーを満喫することが出来ました。また、カヌーで漕いでいる際もとても丁寧かつ詳細にマングローブの種類や植生を解説頂き、とても興味深かったことを覚えています。
2. トレッキング
・30代の私たちでも少し厳しいと感じるコースでしたが、笑
非日常を体験することが出来、とても感動しました。適宜、岩本さんから写真撮影及び360度カメラにて撮影頂き、トレッキングに集中することができました。滝壺からの絶景は忘れられません！
3. シュノーケリング
・トレッキング終了後、お手製の八重山そばを頂いた後に、港から貸し切りのボートで出発。バラス島付近の海は、本当に素敵で、今までのダイビング・シュノーケリングの中で最も感動しました。またウミガメとも遭遇し、岩本さんの「ウミガメとの遭遇率は100%」という説明は、本当でした。笑
総じて、とても丁寧にガイド頂き、また写真も当日中に共有頂くなど、大変満足しております。また機会があれば是非とも参加したいと思います。
