I participated with the Ren-chan team and the Taro team. It was disappointing that we couldn't go to the waterfall due to the weather, but the mangrove tour was even more enjoyable than I imagined, and it became a wonderful memory. Ren-chan taught me a lot about Iriomote Island and mangrove knowledge! During our lunch break, I tried the recommended dishes from the cafeteria that Ren-chan suggested! I was amazed by the magnificent scenery while snorkeling, something I had never seen before! Taro-kun took photos from various angles, and my whole family was delighted!
It was a very fulfilling tour. I want to visit Iriomote Island again!

I went to Iriomote Island for my honeymoon! It was a very enjoyable trip that felt extraordinary. On the tour, I experienced a water buffalo cart ride to Yubu Island and a canoe experience where I could feel the great outdoors. The weather was a mix of rain and sunshine, but luckily, the rain stopped at just the right times during both the Yubu Island visit and the canoe experience, and the sun occasionally showed its face, bringing us good luck. Our guide was very friendly and approachable, making the experience even more enjoyable! Thank you, Moo!

非日常でとても楽しい旅でした。
ツアーでは水牛車で由布島とカヌー体験で大自然を感じました。お天気が雨が降ったり止んだりでしたが由布島でもカヌー体験でもタイミング良く雨が上がり、時々太陽も顔を見せてくれて運が味方してくれました。

We were concerned about safety for two people, so we decided to book a guided tour this time.

Our guide lived on the island, so we were able to hear stories that we wouldn't normally get to hear, and they were very considerate and attentive!

In the morning, I experienced snorkeling around Yufushima, and in the afternoon, around Barasu Island. I signed up because I wanted to make the most of my day.

During the free lunch break, thanks to the prior explanation of nearby shops, I was able to have lunch smoothly. The timing was just right for a post-meal coffee and a quick stop at the nearest supermarket.

In the afternoon snorkeling session, the staff were kind and friendly, making it easy to participate with peace of mind. They also took a lot of photos for us, so we didn't have to worry about taking our own and could fully enjoy the activities! The colorful coral reefs were breathtaking and truly moving, like a dragon palace.

The return shuttle service was excellent, and I would definitely like to use this service again. Thank you for a fulfilling time! ♪

午前由布島、午後バラス島周辺のシュノーケリングを体験。1日効率よく遊びたかったので申し込みました。
フリーのお昼休憩では、事前に周辺店舗の説明をしてくれたお陰でスムーズにランチすることができました。食後のコーヒーや最寄りのスーパーへ立ち寄るのにちょうどの時間配分でした。
午後のシュノーケリングでは、スタッフの皆様が親切かつフレンドリーで安心して参加することができます。
また写真をたくさん撮ってくださったので、自分達で撮る手間もなく、アクティビティを全力で楽しめました！竜宮城のようにカラフルな珊瑚礁は圧巻で本当に感動します。
帰りの送迎まで至れり尽せりで、また利用したいと思います。

The morning snorkeling was amazing, and I even got to see a big sea turtle! Pipi's tour is truly reliable. The snorkeling guide, Hikaru, was very polite and gentle. He frequently checked on our well-being, so I think both first-timers and families can enjoy it with peace of mind. They take plenty of photos and videos, making it a great keepsake even for solo travelers, and you can really feel their desire for everyone to have fun. It was so much fun! I highly recommend it.

In the afternoon, the water buffalo cart tour on Yubu Island was great too. I appreciated that we stopped at scenic spots during the bus ride for photo opportunities. I was able to capture the beautiful Pinai Falls and Kohama Island. Along the way, they shared interesting information about the highlights of Yubu Island. After the tour, they even dropped us off at our hotel, and I felt their hospitality, wanting to ensure guest satisfaction until the very end.

I would love to join Pipi's tour again for my next visit to Iriomote Island!

午後の由布島 水牛車観光はバスでの送迎道中、見所で停車して車内から写真撮影タイムがあるの嬉しいです。ピナイサーラの滝や美しい小浜島もしっかり撮れました。道中、由布島での見所を教えてくれます。観光後ホテルまで送っていただきましたが、お話が楽しく最後の最後まで、ゲストに満足していただきたいというホスピタリティを感じました。
次回の西表島観光もpipiさんのツアーでお世話になりたいです、いやお世話になります！

I participated in this tour with a plan for snorkeling at Barasu Island and sightseeing at Yufu Island. It was my first experience with snorkeling, and I was a bit anxious, but the instructor provided thorough guidance, and I was able to enjoy it very much! During the sightseeing at Yufu Island, I was able to savor views that I normally wouldn't see! The only good thing about participating in the tour was encountering a sea turtle. Here are the reasons for my evaluation:

- I was mistaken for someone else with the same last name, which caused the tour schedule to switch between the morning and afternoon.
- On the bus to Yubujima, it seemed they left the original participants behind at the port and had to turn back. At the port, they swapped one group of customers and departed again, all without any announcements or apologies.
- Perhaps due to the time lost, there was a comment saying, "Yubujima has fewer things to see, so if you hurry, you can return in less than an hour." I wanted to see everything while I was there...
- Although the snorkeling seemed to be focused on aesthetics, the content did not live up to expectations.

Overall, I was particularly concerned about the lack of coordination within the tour company. Even though I had signed and submitted a consent form once, I was made to fill it out again, indicating a lack of information sharing. Additionally, although the snorkeling was advertised to take place in the morning, it was changed to the afternoon due to the number of water buffalo carts, resulting in Barasu Island being completely submerged. Since there wasn't much to see, I think it would have been more meaningful to spend time looking at fish at other points instead of just viewing the island from the boat.

At the next snorkeling point, my friend, who is not used to swimming, said, "I felt rushed and couldn't enjoy it much because I was worried about chasing after the buoy held by the guide. I was anxious about getting kicked by the fins of other participants and having my mask slip." While I appreciated the attention to safety, there were many flaws throughout the tour.

Seeing the sea turtle was very nice, but since encounters are rare and it was just a coincidence that the turtle was swimming nearby, this led to my evaluation.

ツアーに参加して良かったことはただ一つ、海亀に遭遇できたことです。
評価の理由を列挙します。

・同じ苗字の別人と間違えられてツアー内容が午前と午後で入れ替わる。
・由布島行きのバスで、本来の参加者を港に置き去りにしたようで途中で引き返していた。港では一組の客を入れ替えて再出発。その間特にアナウンスや謝罪なし。
・タイムロスしたからなのか「由布島は見るとこ少なめで回ってもらえれば1時間以内に戻って来れますので」という発言。行くからには全て見たいが…。
・シュノーケルは映えを意識している様子なのに内容が伴っていなかった。

総合するとツアー会社の連携が取れていなかったことが特に気になりました。一度同意書を書いて渡したのに、再度書かされそうになったりと情報共有が行われていないようです。
また、シュノーケルが募集サイト上では午前中催行とあったのに、水牛車の数の問題で午後に変更されたことでバラス島が完全に水没していました。特に見応えもなかったため、島自体は船から眺めるに留めて他のポイントで魚を見ていた方が有意義な時間を過ごせたと思います。
次のシュノーケルポイントでは、泳ぎ慣れない友人曰く「急かされて忙しなく、ガイドの持つ浮きを追いかけることを気にしてあまり楽しめなかった。他の参加者のフィンに蹴られそうでマスクがずれたらとヒヤヒヤした」とのこと。
安全面に配慮されていたのは良かったですが、ツアー全体を通して粗が多かったです。
海亀を見れたことは非常に良かったですが、遭遇自体が珍しいらしく偶然近辺を泳いでくれた海亀のおかげなので、この評価に至りました。

Canyoning was a first-time experience for me. I thought the half-day course might be a bit lacking, but it turned out to be very fulfilling. The guide skillfully adjusted to the pace of the senior couple, allowing us to take on challenges that we wouldn't normally experience! I recommend the half-day course because it also allows you to make good use of the remaining time. Plus, the guide took a lot of photos, which made for great memories.

The weather was perfect, and it was the best experience! It seemed like the hottest day right after the rainy season, but the river water was cold and refreshing. At each jumping point, we were guided carefully one by one, and even though it was my first time, I was glad I could conquer all the points. The guide was friendly and provided detailed recommendations for restaurants and other sightseeing spots, which was very helpful. The return transfer also dropped me off at the requested location, which was a great help! I want to experience it again! ♪♪♪

天候にも恵まれ最高の体験でした！梅雨明けの一番暑い時期だった日のようで、暑い日でしたが川の水が冷たくて気持ちよかったです。飛び込みポイントも毎回1人1人丁寧に誘導してもらい初めてでしたが全ポイント制覇できてよかったです。ガイドして下さった方が気さくでおすすめの飲食店や他の観光場所についても詳しく教えて下さり助かりました。

In the morning, I participated in a kayak tour, and in the afternoon, I joined the water buffalo ferry tour to Yubu Island. The weather was great, and I was able to see the mangrove roots by kayak! It was my first time kayaking, but our guide, Hayata, was cheerful and attentive, which made the tour enjoyable. We were able to take many photos. For lunch, we were taken to a hamburger shop near Uehara Port. In the afternoon, we traveled to Yubu Island in a microbus with our guide, Macchan, who entertained us with fun stories on the way to the water buffalo ferry terminal. It was hot while exploring Yubu Island, so the pineapple and awamori gelato we had at Yubu Island Teahouse was delicious.

Canoeing on the Urauchi River was a luxury, but the heat quickly drained my energy, and in the end, the guide worked hard to pull me to the finish line. It was my second time canoeing, and I was desperately paddling, but new experiences are always fun. I got to touch the mangroves, feel the river up close, and hear the voice of the kingfisher. I experienced a mangrove canoe and water buffalo tour to Yubu Island in Iriomote Island. The weather was great on the day of the tour, and canoeing in such a beautiful setting was fantastic. The staff member, Shotaro, explained the ecology of the mangroves in a very easy-to-understand way, and it was a lot of fun to listen to him. We had a 3-year-old toddler with us, but the staff were very considerate, and we were able to enjoy the experience all the way to the end without any issues. This time, I couldn't find time during the day, so I signed up for the Sunrise Canoe, and it was the perfect choice!
1. The sunrise was incredibly beautiful.
2. It was cool.
3. I could enjoy nature and have the guide all to myself (it was not crowded).
4. The tranquility of the morning brought a unique sense of nature, with the sounds of wildlife.
5. It was a great use of time (I was able to participate before taking the 9:00 boat back).

Both guides were kind and shared a lot of interesting knowledge about plants and animals. I learned so much about the nature of Iriomote. They took many photos, and all of them were really great! Thank you, Hayata and Shun!

Due to the schedule for using the water buffalo cart on the day, we visited Yufu Island in the morning and experienced the mangrove canoe in the afternoon.

In the morning, we were able to leisurely explore Yufu Island, which felt like a jungle, during a time when there weren't many people around, allowing us to fully enjoy nature. During the drive to Yufu Island, our guide, Macchan, shared many stories about Iriomote Island and Yufu Island, making it fun to learn about the islands.

We had one hour of free time, but it felt a bit short, and we ended up hurrying back at the end.

In the afternoon, the weather was too nice, making it too hot for us, and since it was low tide during the mangrove canoeing time, we were a bit disappointed that we couldn't move through the mangroves by canoe. However, being able to get off the canoe and walk among the mangroves was also a valuable experience.

当日の水牛車の利用予定の関係で、午前中に由布島、午後にマングローブカヌーの体験となりました。

We wanted to visit Ishigaki Island as a couple! It looked so fun that we made a reservation on the day we arrived. In the morning, we went snorkeling, and a staff member named Ayu-chan was in charge. She was energetic, cute, and very kind! She took lots of photos for us! There were also people from overseas in the same group, and they provided English support, so everyone had a great time. The sea was incredibly beautiful, and the time flew by, but we had so much fun! In the afternoon, we rode water buffaloes and went to Yubu Island. The staff member there was a person named Macchan, who had a wonderful smile and a hat as his trademark! He was also very kind to us! I’m still reminiscing about the experience after returning home. It was my first time doing SUP. Our guide, Moru-chan, provided clear instructions. The time flew by. We were guided through the mangroves towards the waterfall, and I felt so relaxed by the sunset, nature, and Moru-chan. We also took a lot of photos. In the car on the way there, we talked about various things related to Iriomote Island and its wildlife. We were also given recommendations for shops and how to spend time on Iriomote Island. The guide was bright and polite, making for a fun tour! The program included a visit to Yufu Island in the morning and a canoe activity in the afternoon. The visit to Yufu Island lasted about an hour, which was enough time to explore the island. We traveled to Yufu Island by water buffalo cart. It was interesting to ride different water buffalo on the way there and back, as their personalities were quite distinct.

I found that canoeing required more strength than I expected, but the guide was there to support us when we got stuck. The explanations about the mangroves were fascinating.

If you participate during the hot season, be sure to bring water and a towel. I also want to try snorkeling next time. Thank you again!

プログラムは午前に由布島観光、午後にカヌーアクティビティーとなっていました。
由布島観光は1時間位でしたが十分島中を探索できました。由布島へは水牛車で行きました。行きと帰りで違う水牛に乗りましたが性格の違いが現れていて面白かったです。
カヌーは思っていたより力が必要だと感じましたが、行き詰まってる時はガイドさんがサポートしていただけます。マングローブの説明は聞いていて面白かったです。
暑い季節の参加は必ず水分とタオルを忘れずに。
次回はシュノーケリングも参加したいと思いました。

Our guide, Matt-chan, was also a very nice person who patiently taught us and kept the atmosphere lively, even for us in our 50s. We learned a lot about the nature, animals, and flowers of Iriomote Island. I could really feel that Matt-chan loves Iriomote Island too. This was my second time with Pipi, and I heard everyone saying, "Work is fun, and the team is wonderful," which made me feel that it's a good company. I'm planning another trip to Iriomote Island in August, so I would like to rely on you again. By the way, it might be better to avoid wearing shorts for canyoning in the summer. It seems like wearing innerwear or leggings would be a better choice!

まずは楽しかったの一言に尽きます！
大の大人が子供に還った時間であっという間の時間でした。担当のまっちゃんさんもとても良い方で50代の私達にも丁寧に教えて頂き盛り上げてくれてました。西表島の自然や動物、花etc色々教えて頂いて。まっちゃんさんも西表島が大好きなんだなぁと感じました。pipiさんは今回2度目なのですが担当の方皆さん『仕事が楽しい、仲間が素晴らしい』と話してるのを聞いて良い会社何だろうなぁとも感じましたね。
又8月に西表島旅行を計画してるのでお世話になりたいです。
因みにキャニオニングは夏だからと半パン…は避けた方が良いかも。インナーやレギンスを履いた方が良さそうですね！

The itinerary was smooth and it was really great. Unfortunately, it was cloudy and we couldn't see the stars we were hoping for, but other than that, we got to see various creatures and enjoyed canoeing in the dark, which was really nice. I think it would have been even better if everyone could have turned off their lights for some effects. This time we did the night canoe, but I heard there is also a sunset canoe, so I definitely want to try that next time. The tour guide was bright and fun, which made the experience very relaxing. あいにく曇りで目的の星空は見えなかったけど、
それ以外はいろんな生き物見れたり、暗闇の中のカヌーだったりですごくよかったです。
できれば全員が電気を消して等の演出があればなおよかったかなと思います。
今回はナイトカヌーでしたが、サンセットカヌーもあるということなので、次回はぜひサンセットカヌーの方も体験したいと思いました。

雨が降るかと思ったけど、全く降らず少し晴れて星も見れました。西表の天気はいい方に外れることもよくあるそうです。

6月頭でしたが、虫が多いので虫除けを持って行くことをお勧めします。
漕いでいる時に水がかかったり、お尻が少し濡れることも多々あるので、濡れてもいい服装と言うよりも水着で行くのがベターかと思います。
またぜひこのツアーに参加したいです。

Originally, we had planned for a canyoning tour, but due to heavy rain in the morning, we consulted with our guide and changed to a mangrove tour. During my trip to Ishigaki Island and Iriomote Island, I participated in a tour with Pipi-san!

It was my first time stepping into a mangrove forest, and it felt like an unreal space, almost like a paradise!

The guide who took care of us was very kind and friendly, which made the tour experience安心して楽しむことができました! They talked about the island, the plants, and even the encounter rate of the Iriomote wildcat during the car ride, so the travel time was never boring!

The flow was: meeting at the port → tour site → shower room → dispersing at the port, so I was considering renting a car, but it wasn't necessary. Just bringing a change of clothes from Ishigaki was enough! I highly recommend it for those coming for a day trip!!!

Next, I want to join the tour recommended by the guide, where we can do stand-up paddleboarding while watching the sunset!
