It was my first time on Iriomote Island, so I decided to join a tour. I was a bit anxious about experiencing activities in places I couldn't go on my own, but the guides were kind and reliable, allowing me to enjoy myself with peace of mind.

The meeting place was in front of the vending machine at Uehara Port, and I confirmed this by phone the day before, which made it easy to find on the day of the tour. I was accompanied by Yume-san, who was friendly and very cute!
Unfortunately, we couldn't land on Barasu Island due to the sea conditions, but I hope to have a chance to try again someday. The snorkeling was incredibly beautiful! I heard that after a typhoon, the visibility is even clearer, and I was lucky to experience that!
The waves were higher than usual, making it a bit challenging to swim, but Yume-san was keeping a close eye on us, which made me feel safe while swimming. It was fun to touch a large sea cucumber and see a sea snake!
After a lunch break, we went for a mangrove canoeing experience. Yume-san taught us various interesting facts, which was educational! The canoe was for two people. I was worried about whether I could paddle properly, but surprisingly, I picked it up quickly!
The scenery was fantastically beautiful, and I encountered a hermit crab of a size I had never seen before. Overall, it was a lot of fun. At the end, there was a place to take a shower as well. I had the best experience on this tour with Yume-san. Her photography skills were also outstanding, which was impressive! Thank you very much!

今回ツアーは夢さんに同行させて頂きましたが気さくでとっても可愛い方でした☆
バラス島は海の状況で足をついての上陸は出来ず残念でしたがまたいつかリベンジ出来たらと思います。
シュノーケリングはとにかく綺麗でした☆
台風後はよりクリアに見えるとのこと！
ラッキーでした☆
波がいつもより高くて泳ぐのに少し苦労しついていくのが大変でしたが、夢さんがしっかり見てくれていて安心して泳ぐ事が出来ました。
大きなナマコを触らせてくれたりウミヘビ見れたりと楽しかったです♪
お昼休憩を挟み、午後はマングローブカヌーさ。
色々な知識を教えてくれて、勉強になりました‼︎
カヌーは2人乗り。ちゃんと漕げるか不安でしたが、意外と早く習得出来ました！
幻想的な綺麗な景色で、見た事ない大きさのヤドカリに出会えたり、とにかく楽しかったです。
終わりにシャワーも浴びれる所もありました。夢さんと一緒に同行させてもらえて最高のツアーを体験させて頂きました。
写真センスも抜群に良くて感激です☆

It was the best experience to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island! Canoeing through the mangroves was very mystical and moving! The guide was entertaining, making the journey enjoyable. I also made wonderful memories riding a water buffalo cart across the sea on Yubu Island. I was very satisfied with all the photos taken.

It was my first experience riding a canoe, and I was nervous, but the guide (Team Kawai) provided excellent guidance, and I quickly got used to the canoe. It was my first time doing SUP, but with the kind guidance of the instructor, I was able to paddle out with confidence. The weather was great, and I thoroughly enjoyed canoeing and trekking. While canoeing through the mangroves of Iriomote Island, I was able to enjoy the experience while listening to the guide's detailed explanations. The trekking was quite steep, with rocks and tree roots making it slippery, but with the guide's help, I was able to safely make it to the waterfall. The waterfall was also magnificent. During both the canoeing and trekking, we spotted some rare creatures, and the explanations made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. I believe the guide was very reliable. It's not a problem if you've never been canoeing before. The guide mentioned that towards the end, their arms get tired and feel swollen, but I personally didn't feel that way. You can see the mangrove forest up close and even touch it.

The morning at Yufu Island and the afternoon mangrove canoe tour were both wonderful experiences that allowed us to fully enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island! The guide was always smiling and provided a thorough and attentive tour, which left a great impression! The lunch we were recommended was also delicious! I definitely want to come back with my family!

I was very healed by the great nature of Iriomote Island, with its sea, mountains, mangrove forests, and the tidal flats that appeared. It had been a while since I went kayaking, but the pre-ride briefing was easy to understand. The guide kindly took my friends' children along with him and shared information about the island beyond the tour. I really appreciated all the kindness. I participated in Yumi's tour. I was a beginner at both snorkeling and canoeing, but the explanations were thorough and easy to understand, so I felt safe participating. The stunning coral during snorkeling was impressive! The mangroves during canoeing were also very beautiful. While touring, I learned a lot of interesting facts, and it was very enjoyable. I had experienced the sunset before, so this time I chose the sunrise canoe. They picked me up at the hotel, and during the 20-minute drive to the port, I encountered what seemed to be wild boars and Ryukyu scops owls, and on the way back, I saw a white-browed crake.
When we arrived at the port in the still dim light, there were many clouds and thunder could be heard in the distance, but by the time we received the briefing and set off, the clouds began to turn red, and gradually the morning glow became visible.
Along the way, a sea turtle surfaced for air and quickly dove back down, and I also saw black and white clownfish. Most importantly, the guide shared various stories, making it a very satisfying tour.
サンセットは以前に体験したので、今回はサンライズカヌーを選びました。ホテルまで迎えに来ていただき、港までの20分のドライブ中にイノシシやリュウキュウコノハズクらしき鳥と、帰りはシロハラクイナと遭遇しました。
まだ薄暗い中港に到着した時は雲が多く遠くで雷もなっていましたが、説明を聞いて出港する頃には雲が赤く染まりだし、だんだんと朝焼けが見えてきました。

I participated in a mangrove kayak tour and a visit to Yubu Island!
The mangroves were surrounded by trees on both sides, making the waterways narrow, which gave a thrilling sense of adventure and was really enjoyable.
I got stuck in the mangroves a few times, but our guide, Rui, kindly helped me out and provided just the right amount of advice.
The visit to Yubu Island was great because we got to ride water buffalo to the island, which is an experience you don't usually get.

I was able to go to Barasu Island, which I had wanted to visit for a long time, and I was deeply moved! Initially, the plan was to land by boat, but I received a call the day before saying that due to the tides, we couldn't land by boat and had to choose between snorkeling to get there or giving up on Barasu Island and going to Yufu Island instead (there was originally a note about the possibility of changing the tour).
Since I have children and had never been to a place where I couldn't touch the bottom, I was anxious about snorkeling, but our guide, Toshi, kindly explained everything over the phone, which I really appreciated. In the end, I was glad I chose snorkeling. I got to see a lot of fish in the beautiful sea, and I was able to go to Barasu Island as well.
The mangrove canoeing was also fun, as we could all ride together as a family of five, and it felt like an adventure. I would like to join Toshi's tour again next time!

I participated alone! It was a beautiful place rich in nature⭐︎ In the morning, the cows on Yufujima were adorable. In the afternoon, I went on a canoe mangrove cruise. I joined Team Seki, and when I asked them questions about the mangroves and the creatures, they provided many interesting answers! There were also families from overseas participating, and it was impressive how they explained everything in English! Even though I was alone, I was well taken care of and had a great time‼︎ I highly recommend this activity!

We participated as a family with elementary school children. We were able to fulfill two wishes: Yufu Island and the mangrove canoe tour! Yubu Island had a short and hectic impression with only one hour for sightseeing, but I was satisfied to cross by water buffalo cart. I was able to experience snorkeling at Barasu Island and another spot, making it a great experience. The meeting point was close to where we boarded the boat, and the snorkeling spots were also nearby, which was nice. Our guide, Abe-chan, took many beautiful photos, and I was very satisfied.
由布島は島内観光の時間が1時間と短く慌ただしい印象でしたが水牛車で渡る事が出来て満足です。
シュノーケルはバラス島ともう1ポイント2ヵ所で体験出来ました。
集合場所から船に乗るまでも近く、ポイント同士も近かったので良かったです。
担当ガイドのあべちゃんが綺麗な写真をたくさん撮ってくれて大満足でした。
Since lunch was not included, I bought a bento at the supermarket and ate it. I thought it would be convenient to have a plastic bag or something, as I needed to take the trash back with me.
お昼ごはんが付いてないのでスーパーでお弁当を買って食べました。ゴミを持ち帰る必要があるのでビニール袋とかあると便利だと思いました。
