I applied to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island, which is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site. I had planned to go up to the top of the Pinaisara Falls, but the weather was not very good during this time, so after arriving at the tour company on the day of the tour, I changed my participation to a half-day itinerary that only went to the base of the falls.

We rode kayaks and moved close to the falls while observing the mangroves. There are seven types of mangroves that can be seen in Japan, and I enjoyed paddling up the river while learning that all of them can be found on Iriomote Island. After getting off the kayak, we went trekking for about 30 to 40 minutes. Our guide introduced us to various subtropical plants as we made our way to the foot of the falls. I was moved by the power of the falls when we arrived. Iriomote Island is the only place in Japan where you can see such great nature. I really wanted to climb to the top of the falls to see the full view of the mangroves, but, well, I guess it can't be helped this time.

I suppose you can't take beautiful photos unless it's summer. It only drizzled a little, so the rain wasn't a big deal, but it was a windy day. Still, I'm glad I went to see the wonderful scenery.

カヤックに乗りマングローブを観ながら滝の近くまで移動。日本で観られるマングローブは７種類あり、西表島ではその全てが観られる事など、楽しく川を登って行きました。カヤックを降りてからはトレッキング。30〜40分位でしょうか。色々な亜熱帯植物をガイドしてもらいながら滝の麓まで。着いた時にはその迫力に感動しました。日本でこのような大自然を観られるのは西表島だけでしょう。本当は滝の上まで登ってマングローブの全景を観たかったのですが、う〜ん、今回は仕方ないかな。
やっぱり夏場でないと綺麗な写真は撮れないかな。雨は小雨が少し降ったけで大した事なかったんだけど、風か強い1日でした。ただ素晴らしい景色に行って良かったと思います。

It was my first time canoeing, and quietly paddling through the mangroves was amazing! I was busy taking photos and paddling by myself, but the guide provided great support, allowing me to enjoy the experience.

The trekking was steeper than I expected, but the sense of accomplishment when I reached the top was significant. I also took the plunge into the waterfall, and I was very satisfied with that.

For lunch, we had rice balls, fried chicken, and boiled eggs, which were delicious. In the afternoon, we toured Yubu Island. I rode a water buffalo and explored the subtropical botanical garden on my own.

The butterfly garden, water buffalo pond, mangrove walkway, and Manta Beach were all places where I wished I could relax forever. The Yubu Island teahouse near Manta Beach had the best awamori gelato! I want to go back to Yubu Island just to eat that.

I enjoyed interacting with the water buffalo and watching them return to their barn from the pond. Most importantly, I was impressed by how much the caretakers loved and took care of the water buffalo. The guides were all very kind, and I was able to hear many interesting stories, making it a thoroughly satisfying tour!

1人で、写真を撮ったり、漕いだり、忙しかったけど、ガイドの方が、しっかりとフォローしてくださったので、楽しむことができました。
トレッキングは、思ったより急な山道でしたが、その分ついた時は感動も大きかったです。
思い切って、滝壺ダイブもやって、大満足でした。
お昼のお弁当はおにぎりと唐揚げ、ゆで卵、美味しかったです。
午後は、由布島観光。
水牛に乗って、亜熱帯植物園となっている島をひとりでまわりました。
素晴らしい蝶々園、水牛の池、マングローブの遊歩道、マンタの浜、どこも、いつまでものんびりと過ごしていたい場所でした。
特にマンタの浜近くにあった由布島茶屋は、泡盛ジェラート最高でした！これを食べにまた由布島行きたいくらい。
水牛に触らせてもらったり、池から水牛舎に戻った水牛たちを見せてもらったり、楽しかったです。
何より、水牛たちをお世話している方たちが、水牛の事を、ものすごく可愛がって、大事にしている様子に感心しました。
ガイドしてくださった方々、みなさんとても親切で、いろんな話を聞けて、大満足のツアーでした！

The weather forecast wasn't great, so I chose this plan. From the moment of pickup, the service was excellent, and the conversation flowed, making me excited even before we arrived at the location. We did canoeing and trekking to the waterfall in the morning, and although we had planned to eat rice balls at the waterfall, due to the rain, our guide quickly adapted and arranged for us to have our meal back at the shop. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a warm meal and take a break indoors while sipping tea.

In the afternoon, we explored a limestone cave. I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wait!? We're entering from here?" because it felt like a hidden gem (laughs). However, after going inside for a while, I was overwhelmed by the incredibly spacious area that opened up. It's a secret, but I also learned about stones that glow under black light.

The canoeing was just as I imagined, very relaxing and enjoyable. The trekking to the waterfall was very well done, with an easy and fun course. Even though it was early November, we were able to play in the waterfall pool. The guide's explanations were detailed and enjoyable as well. And!! The cave was amazing!!

It was said to be a beginner course, but we were able to experience crawling through narrow spaces, being in complete darkness, and exploring the cave without any handrails. It was an adventure that we couldn't have done without the guide. Thank you very much!!

I wanted to go, so I made a reservation the evening before. Most tours confirm via text message or phone call, so I thought it would be the same this time, but I didn't receive any contact, which made me worried. When I checked my email for confirmation, I saw a message saying to contact them within an hour of the reservation confirmation. If I didn't, it would be a paid cancellation. I tried to reach out immediately after seeing the email, but I couldn't get through. When I finally did get in touch, I was yelled at in a very angry voice. I was able to participate in the tour, but it felt like I was being scolded throughout, and I couldn't enjoy it. It was the worst tour.

I was able to fully enjoy Iriomote Island with a tour packed with activities like kayaking, trekking, and exploring limestone caves. They provide shoes that are okay to get wet. Since trekking and the caves can be slippery and there are many plants, I think wearing clothes that cover both hands and feet is essential.

The waterfall was a bit chilly for swimming, so I didn't go in directly, but the water volume was impressive and very powerful. Along the way, I learned a lot about the plants, which was really interesting.

I participated from Iriomote Island, but if you're coming from Ishigaki Island, it might be a bit challenging to join as a day trip if the ferry to Uehara Port is not running (it takes about an hour by bus from Ohara Port to Uehara Port).

I think this tour is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy nature in a single day.

I made a reservation for this tour because there was a campaign on Veltra. It was my first time in Iriomote Island, and I wanted to experience something unique to the island. The guide was friendly and taught us a lot about Iriomote Island, which was very informative. During the tour, we discovered interesting crabs and an incredibly large clam, so we had fun beyond just trekking and canoeing. Both canoeing and trekking were harder than I expected, but it was manageable (laughs). The waterfall was said to have a height of 55 meters, but it seemed even taller when viewed up close. It was overwhelming to see it so closely, as you don't often get that opportunity. I went in mid-October, so the water was cold and I couldn't swim, but others were swimming quite a bit. Since it was a half-day tour, we could make effective use of our time, and I highly recommend it. If you're considering it, definitely go for it!

veltraでキャンペーン中だったのでこちらを予約しました。初めての西表島で、西表島っぽいことをしたいと参加しました。ガイドさんは気さくで西表島のことを色々教えてくださり、勉強になりました。ツアー中、面白い蟹やものすごく大きいしじみを発見したりとトレッキングやカヌー以外でも楽しめました。カヌーもトレッキングも思ったよりハードですが、なんとかなります（笑）肝心の滝は落差55ｍとのことでしたが近くでみるともっとあるように思えます。あそこまで間近に見ることがないので圧倒されました。10月中旬にいったので水が冷たく私は泳げなかったですが、他の方は結構泳いでいました。半日のツアーなので時間も有効に使えますし、おすすめです。検討しているかたは是非！

I participated in a one-day tour to climb to the top of Pinai Sara Falls. The weather was great, and the view from the top was amazing. I signed up for a half-day tour because I wanted to explore all of Iriomote by rental car as well. From 10 AM to 1 PM, I was able to enjoy everything without wasting any time—canoeing, trekking, and the Pinaisara Falls! The guide was very clear, and I learned a lot about Iriomote's unique ecosystem, making it a very meaningful experience! The crabs were also so cute! Since the half-day provided just the right amount of exercise, I was able to enjoy sightseeing in Iriomote until the last ferry, making it the best day ever. They also sent me a lot of photos that same day!

ツアーだけでなく、レンタカーで西表全体を周りたいと考えていた為、半日ツアーを申し込みました！

The weather was unfortunately cloudy. The forecast predicted rain, but it didn't rain during the tour! There were only two participants, just the two of us. It was my first time paddling a canoe, but I was able to enjoy it. The guide shared the history of the mangroves and talked about the plants, and I was continuously surprised by all the new things I learned! I had some anxiety about my first solo trip, but it was an activity I could participate in with peace of mind! The mangrove canoeing was great with nice weather, and I got to experience the nature of Iriomote Island. I also had my first experience diving into the waterfall at Pinai Salo! It was much better than I had imagined! Canoeing while enjoying unique scenery made the time fly by. The tracking allowed us to enjoy the jungle just enough, and I’ve seen many waterfalls before, but it was my first time experiencing such power while entering the basin of the waterfall. From the initial pick-up to the final send-off, the guide was very attentive, and there was nothing lacking in terms of equipment or belongings. I signed up for this tour because I really wanted to see the coral reef. I arrived by ferry, feeling excited, and a lovely young lady came to greet us. Once we started, she was surprisingly powerful, effortlessly carrying our lunch and large bags through the forest, which I really admired. I wanted to keep up and felt like I was in a movie as we ventured into the jungle. After passing through a thrilling mountain, we were greeted by a magnificent waterfall! It was my first time swimming in a waterfall basin, and it was amazing! We enjoyed delicious rice balls.

Next was the sea. The captain was really cool, and the underwater scenery was breathtaking, with stunning coral that was even more beautiful than I had imagined. Of course, the fish, including Nemo, and the sea turtles were adorable too. You really have to see it with your own eyes! It was a wonderful and perfect tour, and I definitely want to participate again. Thank you very much!

This was our first time on Iriomote Island, and it turned out to be the best tour! As a couple, we participated in canoeing, trekking, and snorkeling, and here are our impressions:

1. Canoeing
- Although the weather was somewhat cloudy and there was a bit of wind, our guide, Mr. Iwamoto, provided us with appropriate paddling instructions, allowing us to enjoy canoeing without getting too tired. I also remember that while we were paddling, he explained the types of mangroves and vegetation in a very detailed and careful manner, which was very interesting.

2. Trekking
- The course was a bit challenging even for us in our 30s, but it was an extraordinary experience that left us very moved. Mr. Iwamoto took photos and used a 360-degree camera at appropriate times, allowing us to focus on the trekking. The breathtaking view from the waterfall was unforgettable!

3. Snorkeling
- After finishing the trekking and enjoying homemade Yaeyama soba, we set off from the port on a private boat. The sea near Barasu Island was truly wonderful, and it was the most impressive snorkeling experience I've ever had. We also encountered a sea turtle, and Mr. Iwamoto's explanation that "the encounter rate with sea turtles is 100%" turned out to be true!

Overall, we were very satisfied with the attentive guidance and the fact that the photos were shared with us on the same day. If we have the opportunity, we would definitely like to participate again.

今回、私たちにとって初めての西表島でしたが、最高のツアーになりました！
私たちカップルは、カヌー・トレッキング・シュノーケリングに参加しましたが、以下感想です。

1. カヌー
・多少天気が曇っており、少し風もありましたが、ガイドの岩本さんから適切に漕ぎ方を指示頂き、さほど疲れることなくカヌーを満喫することが出来ました。また、カヌーで漕いでいる際もとても丁寧かつ詳細にマングローブの種類や植生を解説頂き、とても興味深かったことを覚えています。

2. トレッキング
・30代の私たちでも少し厳しいと感じるコースでしたが、笑
非日常を体験することが出来、とても感動しました。適宜、岩本さんから写真撮影及び360度カメラにて撮影頂き、トレッキングに集中することができました。滝壺からの絶景は忘れられません！

3. シュノーケリング
・トレッキング終了後、お手製の八重山そばを頂いた後に、港から貸し切りのボートで出発。バラス島付近の海は、本当に素敵で、今までのダイビング・シュノーケリングの中で最も感動しました。またウミガメとも遭遇し、岩本さんの「ウミガメとの遭遇率は100%」という説明は、本当でした。笑

総じて、とても丁寧にガイド頂き、また写真も当日中に共有頂くなど、大変満足しております。また機会があれば是非とも参加したいと思います。

I participated in a day trip from Ishigaki Island. I was picked up at the port and taken to a nearby shop to prepare for the kayaking tour. As a beginner in kayaking, I received thorough instructions and was able to enjoy the experience.

We paddled along a majestic river, taking breaks along the way to hear about the mangroves, which left me impressed by the strength and beauty of nature. We kayaked to the trekking point, and from there, we walked towards the Pinaisara Falls. Climbing and navigating rocky areas was a bit challenging for us, as we are not very active, but it was a lot of fun as we took photos at beautiful spots.

Our guide, Mr. Iwamoto, was very knowledgeable about the mountains and shared stories about various creatures and plants. When we arrived at Pinaisara Falls after walking the mountain path, I felt a great sense of accomplishment. The falls, with plenty of water from the previous day's rain, were truly magnificent, and I enjoyed the great outdoors while cooling off in the waterfall pool.

We returned the way we came, floating down the mangrove river, which showed a different face than on the way in, and went back to the shop to enjoy handmade Yaeyama soba. The gentle broth was soothing to our tired bodies. There is also a supermarket nearby where you can buy snacks and souvenirs. The pineapple ice cream on a stick that I bought here was very delicious.

After lunch, we headed to Barasu Island, where we picked up coral and took commemorative photos before heading to a nearby snorkeling spot. I was very moved to see beautiful coral reefs, colorful fish, and, if lucky, even a sea turtle. We were guided to spots with anemones where Nemo lives, large table corals, and beautiful coral areas, and time flew by. We also had underwater photos taken, creating wonderful memories of snorkeling.

It was a packed tour, so we didn't have much time to take photos ourselves, but Mr. Iwamoto used a 360-degree camera, a regular camera, and an underwater camera to take many pictures, allowing us to reminisce as we looked back at them.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience. I hope to participate again while my parents are still healthy.

石垣島から日帰りで参加しました。
港までお迎えに来ていただいて近くのお店へ、準備をしてさっそくカヤックツアーの開始です。
カヤック初心者でしたが、しっかりレクチャーをうけ楽しんで進むことが出来ました。
雄大な川を進み途中休憩をはさみながら、マングローブのお話を聞いて、自然の強さ素晴らしさに感銘を受けました。
カヤックでトレッキングのポイントまで進み、そこからは歩いてピナイサーラの滝を目指します。
途中手をついて登ったり、岩場をアップダウンしながら進むので普段運動不足の私たちにはちょっぴりハードでしたが、素敵なポイントで写真を撮ってくれるのでとっても楽しかったです。

ガイドの岩本さんはさすがに山を熟知しておられ、いろんな生き物や植物のお話を聞かせてくださりました。
山道を歩いてピナイサーラの滝に到着した時にはすごく達成感がありました。
前日の雨で水量たっぷりのピナイサーラの滝は本当に素晴らしく、滝つぼで体をクールダウンさせながら大自然を満喫しました。

来た道を戻り、行きとは違った表情を見せるマングローブの川を下ってお店に戻って、手作りの八重山そばをいただきました。
疲れた体に優しいおだしが染み入ります。。。
近くにスーパーもあるのでスナックやお土産も購入できます。
こちらで購入したパイナップルを串に刺したアイスがとってもおいしかったです。

昼食後はバラス島へ、こちらでは珊瑚を拾ったり記念撮影をし、近くのシュノーケリングスポットへ向かいます。
美しいサンゴ畑や色とりどりの魚、運よくウミガメにも会うことができてとても感動しました。
ニモの住むイソギンチャクや、大きなテーブル珊瑚、きれいな珊瑚のスポットにも案内していただいて、あっという間に時間が過ぎました。
水中カメラでも撮影をしてくださったので、楽しいシュノーケリングの思い出が出来ました。

盛りだくさんのツアーなので、自分たちではなかなか写真を撮る余裕もないのですが、あちらこちらで360度カメラや普通のカメラ、水中カメラを駆使して岩本さんがたくさん写真を撮ってくださったので、見返しては思い出に浸っています。

本当に素敵な体験をさせていただきありがとうございました。
また両親が元気なうちに一緒に参加できたらと思います。

I chose this tour because I wanted to see the waterfall and experience a sense of adventure. Despite the unfortunate weather, it actually made canoeing easier, and the scenery was wonderful! I participated in the tour because I love mangroves and snorkeling, and it became a wonderful memory as I was able to see and experience the rich nature✨ The guide was very considerate, helping me paddle the kayak since I didn't have much stamina, and when I was exhausted during the morning waterfall tour, they let me rest in a hammock at the tour company's accommodation. Thanks to the relaxed plan tailored to my energy level, I had a great time✨ I thought I would also stay at the accommodation next time✨ There were horses and cats, and it was so soothing just to be there✨ The view of the sea was amazing, and I thought it was the best✨

I felt sorry for not being able to eat the lunch that was prepared for us because I had eaten too much for breakfast.

The young guide had a wealth of knowledge about plants and animals, and it was fun to ask questions✨ Since I can't swim at all, I was pulled along while snorkeling and got to see sea turtles and clownfish, which was so healing❤️

マングローブとシュノーケルが好きなのでツアーに参加しましたが豊かな自然が見れて体験できていい思い出となりました✨
ガイドさんも気遣いが豊かな方で、体力がないのでカヤックを漕いでいただいたり、午前の滝までのツアーで体力がないのでグッタリしていたらツアー会社の宿のハンモックで休ませていた抱いたり体力に合わせてゆったりとしたプランにしていただいておかげさまで楽しく過ごせました✨
次回は宿もお世話になろうと思いました✨
お馬さんがいたり猫ちゃんがいたりぼぉーっとしてても癒される感じでした✨海が一望できて眺めも最高だなぁと思いました✨

朝ごはんを食べすぎて用意していただいたランチを食べれず申し訳なかったです。

若いガイドさんでしたが、植物や生物の知識が豊富でいろいろ聞けて楽しかったです✨
シュノーケルも全然泳げないので引っ張ってもらって海亀さんやニモにも会えて癒されました❤️

海の中で写真を撮る余裕がなかったので、海亀さんやニモ、そのほかにも沢山写真を撮っていただいて嬉しかったです✨そのままインスタに載せさせてもらおうかと思います✨

また飯塚さんのツアーに参加したいと思いました✨

I participated alone, but thanks to the guide, I had a great time. They took a lot of photos for me, and the explanations about the plants were very easy to understand. I gained not only experience but also various knowledge. Eating the large rice ball made by the owner while getting splashed by the waterfall was the best.
