I went on a family trip with my parents. It had been a while since I traveled with them since becoming a working adult, and we created the best memories together on Iriomote Island, making it a fulfilling day!

In the morning, we fully absorbed the power of nature through a mangrove tour and trekking! In the afternoon, during the transfer to Yubu Island, we had many enjoyable conversations, making it a fun tour.

The staff were young and full of energy, and their excellent service contributed to a really enjoyable experience. I felt that Iriomote Island still has so much charm, and I definitely want to come back again. Thank you very much!

午前はマングローブツアーとトレッキングで自然の力を存分に吸収することができました！

The mangrove cruise was a highly satisfying tour that allowed me to fully enjoy the atmosphere of Iriomote Island. Although I participated alone, the guide and other participants were very friendly and engaged with me, making it a lot of fun. I heard that SUP can be difficult for beginners, so I chose to go with a canoe, but it looked like everyone was able to stand and paddle by the end, so I want to challenge myself with SUP next time.

In the afternoon, those who stayed on Iriomote Island experienced clear skies, but it was pouring rain on Yubu Island due to a squall. It was a great experience, characteristic of a region where the weather can change rapidly.

一人参加でしたがガイドさんや他の参加者さんも色々と声を掛けてくださりとても楽しく過ごすことが出来ました。

In the morning, we paddled through the magnificent mangrove nature on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP), and in the afternoon, we leisurely crossed to Yubu Island on a water buffalo cart to see subtropical plants. It was a very fulfilling tour that allowed us to enjoy various aspects of Iriomote Island.

The guide was very kind and provided detailed explanations, which helped us learn a lot about the island. We had a great time. Additionally, it was wonderful to have photos taken that I wouldn't have been able to capture myself.

If I have the opportunity to come to Iriomote Island again, I would like to stay overnight and participate in a night tour as well.

This trip to Ishigaki Island became the best memory. Thank you very much for providing such a fulfilling experience.

It was my first time snorkeling, but thanks to the guide who kindly and thoroughly taught me how to use the fins and the precautions for wearing the goggles, I was able to swim with confidence! The guide was a local who knew a lot about the island and quickly shared the names of the corals and fish that caught my attention. I only needed to bring a towel and drinks, as everything else was available for rent, which made it easy to participate. Additionally, the transportation to and from the hotel was a great bonus. I was finally able to visit Barasu Island, and I got to take many photos, creating wonderful memories. The Yaeyama soba at the cafe of the Iriomote Island Nature School was also exquisite! Thank you for your kindness.

シュノーケリングは初めてでしたが、フィンの使い方やゴーグルの装着時の注意点などガイドさんが優しく丁寧に教えて頂いたおかげで安心して泳げました！
ガイドさんは島のことをよく知る現地の方で、気になった珊瑚や魚の名前などすぐに教えてくださいました。
持ち物もタオルや飲み物のみで、他はレンタルができたので身軽に参加できて、さらにホテルまでの送迎もあったのがよかったです。
念願のバラス島に行けて、写真も沢山撮っていただけていい思い出ができました。

I experienced a one-day course that included a mangrove canoe experience, Pinai Sara Falls, and diving. First of all, the location is very convenient, just a 1-2 minute walk from the port! The guide was very knowledgeable and explained the flora and fauna in the mangroves in a clear and detailed manner. It was really interesting and fun! ^^ For lunch, I enjoyed Yaeyama soba, which had a warm and gentle flavor and was delicious! The diving instructions in the afternoon were also thorough, and they tailored it to accommodate us beginners, so we felt safe participating. When we had trouble in the water, they helped us right away! Meeting the staff was a wonderful experience, and it became a great memory! I would love to come back here again someday. We were blessed with good weather, and the guides were kind and dedicated in their assistance, making it a very memorable experience.

I received a message while heading to the airport that due to bad weather, they had to change the course. I was really disappointed because I intended for this to be my last snorkeling experience due to my age, but instead, I got to go canoeing, which I hadn't expected much from, and it turned out to be a lot of fun. The instructor was also very polite and provided clear guidance, which made me feel comfortable participating. Additionally, the water buffalo cart on Yubu Island truly felt like an experience of a remote island, which was great. Personally, I felt that the one hour stay on the island was not enough, so if I go again in the future, I would like to take my time and enjoy it more.

朝空港に向かっていた時に連絡があり、天候不良の為コースを変えざるを得ないとの事。
年齢的に最後のシュノーケリングのつもりだったのでなんだかとても残念だったが、代わりにカヌーをさせて頂き、あまり期待していなかったカヌーがとても楽しかった。
インストラクターの方も丁寧で分かりやすく指導してくれて、安心して参加する事が出来た。
また由布島の水牛車はまさしく離島と言う感じで体験出来て良かったです。
個人的には島の滞在時間が1時間では足らなかったので、今後行く事があったらもっとゆっくりしたいと思いました。

This is my third time visiting Iriomote Island. I booked this tour because it includes a visit to Yufu Island. A friend from Australia, whom I met the day before, was able to join us at the last minute, and they were very accommodating. Our guide, Matsuko, was kind and although she has only been on Iriomote Island for a short time, she knew a lot and talked with us during the transfers.

The ferry to Uehara was canceled, so we had a morning tour to Yufu Island and an afternoon tour to Kura Falls, but the guidance was smooth, and I felt like I had the most satisfying day on my third visit. They took many photos and sent them to me right away via LINE.

I would like to request Pipisan again next time! Thank you very much.

I was worried about the rain and wind, but as the guide told us, the mangroves act as a windbreak, so it was very comfortable to canoe inside where there was no wind. I was able to enjoy it with my children without any worries.

The Iriomote Island mangrove canoe tour was a lot of fun as we enjoyed the scenery while canoeing, observing the butterflies and plants that inhabit Iriomote Island. Throughout the tour, the guide provided explanations about the butterflies and plants of Iriomote Island, as well as the lives of the local people.

The water buffalo cart ride to Yubu Island takes you across the water from Iriomote Island to Yubu Island. Yubu Island is a botanical garden, where we could also see butterflies and plants. On the way back, we rode the water buffalo cart back to Iriomote Island. Inside the cart, we were treated to traditional sanshin music, which added to the tropical atmosphere and was very enjoyable.

I participated in a canoe trip with my girlfriend. It seems that during winter, most ferries to Uehara Port are canceled, so we took the ferry to Ohara instead. We almost missed it because we woke up late.

From Ohara Port, there was a replacement bus to Uehara Port, where we met up with our guide.

The canoeing started quickly after a brief explanation. It was quite charming and enjoyable. The stand-up paddleboarding seemed challenging for the women when they came out of the river against the headwind.

It seems that many shops are often closed for lunch, so everyone was eating at one place. We made do with the bread we had bought.

The ox cart ride was only about 400 meters to the island, so it felt a bit short, but I felt lucky to hear the driver play the sanshin while singing.

The journey was not boring thanks to the guide's explanations! We were taken back to Ohara Port and were able to return on the 5 PM ferry. I had a great vacation! Thank you!

After kayaking through the mangroves, we went for a bit of canyoning to Nara Falls. We swam across the pool with a lively family. We had a fantastic time listening to our guide Kaede talk about the nature of Iriomote Island, the Iriomote wildcat, and the crested serpent eagle.
In the afternoon, we leisurely crossed to Yufu Island while being rocked by water buffalo. The gelato was exquisite. They didn't have that 30 years ago when I came. I hardly felt the passage of time; it truly is a World Heritage site.

マングローブをカヤックで進んだ後、ちょっとしたキャニオニングでナーラの滝へ。滝壺を泳ぎ渡る元気なご家族連れとご一緒しました。ガイドのカエデさんから西表島の自然やイリオモテヤマネコやカンムリワシの話を聞きながら、最高に楽しい時間を過ごしました。

I was able to enjoy riding a canoe with my friends and take lots of photos. The water buffalo cart to Yufujima moved at a leisurely pace, which was very pleasant. I made wonderful memories with a lovely family while canoeing.

I had a great time engaging in activities with wonderful staff and cheerful companions under the beautiful weather. I was also happy to enjoy breathtaking views while snorkeling and diving that exceeded my expectations. I am especially grateful for the quick spotting of a sea turtle to fulfill my wish to observe them. Additionally, I had several photos taken during the activities, and the quality of the pictures was fantastic! The instructor was not only skilled in swimming techniques but also in photography, which impressed me deeply. (*´ω｀*)

The guide was wonderful, running the business as a family and creating a warm atmosphere. They took lots of photos, making for the best memories! We waited at the shop until our return boat arrived, and that time was enjoyable too. Since we were staying in Ishigaki, we went to Uehara Port first thing in the morning. It’s a busy season with many ferry passengers, so it’s better to make a reservation if you can!

I experienced SUP for the first time and it was so much fun! More than anything, our guide, Tacky, was incredibly thorough in his explanations. The conversations during the bus ride and throughout the experience were entertaining, making the time enjoyable from the start! During the experience, he shared information about the plants, and whenever we observed something curiously, he quickly explained it, which made me happy to learn more about Iriomote Island! At the end, when the waves turned against us and we were struggling to move forward, he immediately came to our aid and helped us, allowing us to finish comfortably. He was so cool! His attentiveness, communication, and consideration for others were truly wonderful, and he was a guide who didn’t seem like the youngest at all! I wish him all the best in his future endeavors! It was a canoe course around Yufu Island. There were more trees than I expected, and it was challenging to paddle through the jungle, haha. Not only during the canoeing but also during the car ride, I enjoyed the discussions about the wildlife of Iriomote and how the ditches and roads are designed for them! I also received recommendations for good restaurants in Ishigaki and Iriomote!
