I wanted to go to Kabira Bay, so I joined a bus tour that was more affordable than taking a taxi. The tour itself wasn't bad, but my child seemed a bit bored. The time spent at each stop was also short, so I think those who want to take their time would enjoy a private taxi more.

川平湾に行きたくて、タクシーよりお手頃なバスツアーに参加しました。ツアー自体は悪くありませんでしたが、子供は少し退屈そうでした。立ち寄るポイントでの滞在時間も短かかったので、ゆっくり回りたい人はタクシー貸切の方が楽しめると思います。

It's quite difficult to set everything up by yourself, isn't it? Adjusting each schedule and making arrangements, among other things. I'm glad it went smoothly and efficiently. I rode the water buffalo cart twice, but once might have been enough.

自分では、なかなか全部を設定するのは難しいですよね。それぞれのタイムスケジュール調整や手配などなど。効率的に回れて、良かったです。
水牛車に2回乗りましたが、1回でも十分だったかも。

I participated in a sightseeing bus tour of Ishigaki Island for the first time. At Kabi Park, we had the option to either take a stroll or pay an additional fee to ride a glass-bottom boat, so I chose the glass-bottom boat to see the coral reefs. Not only did we visit tourist attractions, but the bus guide provided clear and continuous explanations about the plants growing along the roads and local information about the town, making it enjoyable until the very end.

今回初めての石垣島観光バスツアーに参加しました。途中の川平公園で散策か追加費用を払ってグラスボートに乗って海中展望かを選択出来たのでグラスボートに乗ってサンゴ礁を観に行きました。観光名所だけで無く道に生えてる植物の説明や街中の地元情報までバスガイドさんの分かりやすく途切れのないガイドで最後まで楽しむことができました。

I toured Mishima with my middle school and university children and participated in a bus tour on Taketomi Island. We enjoyed beautiful scenery everywhere, gained knowledge about plants and creatures during the mangrove journey, and the bus drivers guided us to wonderful sightseeing spots, sharing interesting insights about the local population and customs. There were also occasions where we could listen to traditional island songs played on the sanshin while riding a water buffalo cart, which was a lot of fun. The lunch featured local cuisine, which included some sweet dishes that didn't quite suit my taste, but I nearly finished everything. I'm really glad I participated in the tour.

中学生と大学生の子供を連れて三島を巡り、竹富島でのバスコースを参加しました。どこにも綺麗な景色を楽しめたし、マングローブへの旅で植物や生き物の知識を習得し、バスの運転手さん達は素敵な観光スポットを案内していただき、現地の人口構成や生活風習等も面白く紹介してくださり、水牛車で伝統な三線を弾いて島唄を聴かせていただける場合もあり、とても楽しかったです。ランチは郷土料理なので、甘いものがあり、口に合わないこともあるが、ほぼ完食しました。ツアーに参加して本当に良かったのです。

It was a bit pricey, but the driver was very polite and kind, which was great. I will use the service again if I have the opportunity.

少々割高ですが、ドライバーさんがとても丁寧で、親切な方で良かったです。

I have ridden a water buffalo in the past, and this time I chose a glass-bottom boat in Taketomi Island. It was a surprisingly good experience, with sea turtles and beautiful coral reefs visible in the shallow waters. It made me reflect on the importance of protecting our beautiful oceans.

過去に水牛には乗った事があり、今回は竹富島でのグラスボートとしました。ウミガメがいたり、サンゴが群生しているかなり浅瀬の改定が見られたり・・・と想定以上に良い経験でした。きれいな海を守るべき。と改めて考えさせられるグラスボートでした。

The weather on the day was not great, with rain coming and going and occasional glimpses of sunshine, but we were able to visit three islands and even ride on a water buffalo cart! The staff members were very kind, and it was a tour with the best cost-performance, all while enjoying the leisurely flow of time.

On my first trip to Ishigaki Island, I participated in a tour that visited three islands. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly and rainy, but I was very satisfied with the content of the tour. The guides provided clear explanations at each location, which made me feel comfortable participating. On Yubu Island, we enjoyed a water buffalo ride while listening to shamisen music.

I was a bit concerned about having a 2-year-old with us, but we still had a great time. If the weather had been nice, I would have loved to leisurely explore Taketomi Island, but it was a shame we had to take an early ferry back. During lunch, there were explanations about the contents of the bento, which were very easy to understand.

初めての石垣島旅行で、3島巡るツアーに参加しました。あいにくの雨模様で少し肌寒い期間でしたが、ツアーの内容は大満足でした。各場所にて担当者が解り易く説明をしてくれたりと安心して参加できました。由布島の水牛乗りでは三味線を弾いてくれました。
2歳の幼児もいたので、大変かなと思っていましたが、それでも楽しめました。
本当に、お天気が良かったら、竹富島をゆっくり散策したかったですが、早めのフェリーで帰ったのが残念です。お昼も、お弁当の中身の説明などがあって、とても解りやすかったです。

The waves were calm, so I was glad I didn't get seasick. The Nakagawa Mangrove Cruise was enjoyable because the weather was nice. It was a spectacular sight to see nearly ten water buffalo carts lined up for transport on a busy day at Yubu Island. I was also happy to see the Deigo flowers on Taketomi Island.

仲間川マングローブクルーズは天気が良かったので、気持ちよく楽しめました。
由布島ではお客さんが多い日だったので移動の水牛車が10台近く連なっている景色は壮観でしたw

I was able to hear various local stories while on the move, which was very helpful for my travels from the second day onward. The acerola juice we stopped for was delicious. I also appreciated the unexpected city tour that wasn't part of the plan, allowing for some unplanned sightseeing.

移動中に現地のいろいろな話を聞けて、2日目以降の旅行ですごくためになりました。
途中で寄っていただいたアセロラジュースおいしかったです。
予定になかった市内案内もしていただき予定外の観光ができよかったです。

I found a tour that goes to the three islands of Iriomote Island, Yubu Island, and Taketomi Island, which is quite rare. I searched on Veltra, which I've used several times before, and... there it was! Although it felt a bit rushed, the guide's stories were enjoyable, and I was very satisfied with the tour.

西表島、由布島、竹富島３島行けるツアーがなかなか無く 何度か使ってるベルトラさんで探したら‥ありました！
駆け足で巡った感はありますが、ガイドさんのお話も楽しく すごく満足したツアーでした

You receive a colored sticker and, after an explanation, you go on a tour individually. One hour on Taketomi Island is short. There isn't much star sand, so it would have been nice to have a little more time to see it, not just from the car window at the next beach, but also to have 5 minutes to take photos.

色のシールが渡され、説明を受けて各自が周るツアーです。竹富島のいち時間は短い。星の砂はあまりないので少し見るだけで次の浜辺の車窓からだけでなく、写真を撮る時間5分でもあると良かったです。

My trip to Ishigaki Island in February was quite cold, but I enjoyed the cruise in Iriomote Island, which had measures in place for wind and rain.

The water buffalo experience on Yubu Island and cycling on Taketomi Island were also included, making for a very efficient sightseeing experience.

2月の石垣島という、かなり寒い中での旅行となりましたが、西表島でのクルーズも防風雨対策もされていて、楽しめました。

由布島への水牛体験、竹富島でのサイクリングも含め、とても効率的に観光できました。

When we arrived at Taketomi Port, a shuttle microbus was waiting for us right by the side. Getting onto the ox cart was smooth as well. Due to our schedule, we chose a shorter course, but we were able to enjoy the atmosphere sufficiently. Since we had some time before the return boat, we walked towards the port while exploring the town. There is also a shuttle bus service for the return trip, so I think it's reassuring for those with mobility issues.

竹富港に着くと送迎のマイクロバスが横付けで迎えに来てくれてます。
牛車乗込みまでもスムーズでした。スケジュールの関係で短めのコースを選びましたが、十分雰囲気を味わいました。帰りの船まで多少時間がとれるので、町中を散策しながら徒歩で港に向かいました。帰りも送迎バスの運行があるので、足の悪い方も安心だと思います。

The water buffalo named Aapa took nearly 20 people on a tour of Taketomi Island. The guide's stories and the performance of the sanshin were great too! ☺

The weather was nice, and the Iriomote Island cruise, along with the water buffalo to Yufu Island, was a smooth tour with no waiting time at all! The lunch was delicious. I definitely recommend it!

I signed up for a tour on the afternoon of the day I arrived. I took a direct bus from the airport to the terminal, where I was able to check my luggage, and on the way back, I was taken to my hotel. Unfortunately, it was a day with light rain, but I enjoyed my experience on Taketomi Island enough for my first visit. If I go again, I would like to take my time sightseeing more.

着いた日の午後のツアーに申し込みました。空港からバスで直行ターミナルに直行し、荷物を預かってもらい、帰りはホテルまで送ってもらえました。
あいにく小雨がぱらつく日でしたが、初めての竹富島での体験としては十分楽しめました。次回行くことがあれば、もっとゆっくり観光したいと思います。

I will provide a compact guide to the main tourist attractions in Ishigaki Island. The lunch was delicious as well. The rice was a bit hard, but I thought maybe this is normal in Ishigaki Island?

石垣島の主要な観光地をコンパクトに案内してくれます。ランチも美味しかったです。ご飯が少し硬かったけど石垣島ではこのくらいが普通なのかな？と思いました。

First, we took a 45-minute boat ride from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island. Upon arriving on the island, the untouched nature created a unique atmosphere that was unlike Ishigaki Island. From the ferry terminal, we headed to Yubu Island. We rode the famous water buffalo cart to cross from Iriomote Island. Being pulled by the water buffalo through the shallow sea was a slow and scenic experience. Of course, the views were spectacular!

On Yubu Island, we were served lunch and enjoyed delicious local cuisine. After lunch, we returned to Iriomote Island for a mangrove cruise on the Nakama River. The cruise, surrounded by nature that you can't experience on the mainland, was very refreshing. The boat then took us back to the ferry terminal, and next, we moved on to Taketomi Island.

Taketomi Island was also enveloped in a relaxed atmosphere, making it feel like a waste to just do a day trip. I found myself wishing to stay longer while freely exploring the island.

There are about three to four boats from Taketomi Island to Ishigaki Island, so it was convenient to catch a boat at a suitable time. I visited Taketomi Island on a Saturday, but many shops were closed (either for the day or due to early closing hours), so it was a bit of a relief to return to Ishigaki Island a little earlier.

Overall, I returned to Ishigaki Island feeling very satisfied. Depending on the boat schedule, you can leave around 8 AM and return by around 5 PM, which isn’t too early or too late, making it manageable for your body. If you can spare a day, I highly recommend it!

先ずは石垣本島から船で45分くらいの西表島へ。
島に着くと石垣島とはまた違う、自然がそのままの状態で残っており何とも言えない雰囲気。
フェリーターミナルからは由布島へ。名物の水牛車に乗って西表島から渡ります。
遠浅の海の中を水牛に引かれてゆっくりと進んでいきます。もちろんここは絶景！
由布島では昼食が提供され、美味しい郷土料理を食せました。
昼食後は再び西表島に戻り、仲間川でのマングローブクルーズへ。本州では味わえない大自然を感じながらのクルーズは気持ちよかったです。
船はそのままフェリーターミナルへ。次は竹富島に移動です。

竹富島もノンビリした雰囲気に包まれており、日帰りしてしまうのがもったいないほど。ここでゆっくり泊まりたいなと思いながら、島内を自由に散策できました。

竹富島から石垣島への船は３～４本の内の、都合のいい時間の船に乗れればいいので、この点も良かったです。竹富島には土曜日に訪問したのですが、休みのお店(休みとか時間的な営業終了)が多かったので、早めに船で石垣島に戻れてちょっと助かりました。

でも総じて大変満足な気分で石垣島に帰ってきました。朝８時頃から船にもよりますが、１７時頃まで、朝早過ぎず帰りも遅過ぎずで身体の負担もそれ程無かったので、１日分の時間が取れるようでしたらオススメいたします。

The staff's guidance was kind and polite, and the conversation was enjoyable. Everything was well organized, with no wasted time, making it a very enjoyable experience. I would like to go again someday.

スタッフの案内も親切丁寧で話しも楽しく、良く段取りされていて無駄もなくとても楽しめました。またいつか行きたいと思います。

I had a great time efficiently exploring the islands. The bus driver's stories during the journey were particularly entertaining and fantastic! I highly recommend it for its reasonable prices.

I had a great time. It was a full day with a relaxed schedule. The mangroves, water buffalo, and island tour were fulfilling. I recommend it!

Since it was the New Year after the end of COVID-19, the tour was busy due to the large number of people. We participated this time with three generations because the last time was so enjoyable, but unlike before, our stay on Yufu Island was too short, and we couldn't explore the island leisurely at all. The lunch break was also too short.

大勢いた為ツアーが忙しかった。
前回が楽しかったので今回は3世代で参加しましたが前と違って由布島の滞在が短すぎて全然島内をゆっくり回れませんでした。お昼ご飯の時間も短すぎでした。

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time. I was able to explore efficiently in a short amount of time. The mangroves were high due to the tide, so I couldn't see much of them. The weather was cloudy, so it was disappointing not to see the beautiful sea of Iriomote Island.

The water buffalo cart was fun, different from Taketomi Island. The sanshin and singing were quite lovely as well. Lunch was just normally delicious. Yubu Island was more enjoyable than I had imagined.

Since there was no staff accompanying the tour, I had to wander around each time to find out which boat to transfer to after getting off the ship, which bus to take, and where to line up for the water buffalo ride, constantly asking anyone who looked like a staff member.

Since there were other tours as well, I was guided to different dining locations, which I understand, but I did feel a bit of inefficiency. Overall, I was satisfied.

初めて西表島を訪問しました。短い時間で効率良く回る事が出来ました。
マングローブは満潮で水位が高くあまり見れませんでした。お天気も曇りだったので、せっかくの西表島のキレイな海が見れず残念。
水牛車は竹富島とまた違って楽しかったです。三線と歌もなかなか素敵でした。
お昼ご飯も普通に美味しかったです。由布島は想像以上に楽しかったです。
ツアーに同行する係員がいないので、船を降りてからどのボートに乗り換えるのか、バスはどれに乗るのか、水牛に乗るにはどこに並ぶのか、毎回ウロウロして係員らしき人を見つけては聞きまくりました。
他のツアーも一緒なので、食事場所も別の所に案内されたり、仕方ないとは思いますが、ちょっと効率の悪さを感じました。
全体的には満足です。

We gathered at the bus terminal near the remote island bus terminal in the morning, and the guide shared a lot of interesting information during the ride, which was very helpful. We will return to the bus terminal after 2 PM, so if the weather and our stamina allow, we can visit nearby islands like Kohama Island. It's great because many of the sightseeing spots are difficult to access without a car.

朝に離島バスターミナル近くのバスターミナルに集合、ガイドが車中も色々話をしてくれてとても参考になります。14時過ぎにはバスターミナルに戻るので体力と天候が許せば小浜島など離島への観光、移動ができます。車が運転できないと観光しづらいところばかりなのでありがたいです。

There is a direct bus from the airport to the remote island bus terminal every 30 minutes. After this tour, there are shuttle buses from the ANA Hotel and the former JAL Hotel to the remote island bus terminal. It's recommended for sightseeing on the first day. After a stroll pulled by a water buffalo, you can go cycling with the map you received. You can enjoy a fulfilling afternoon.

空港から集合場所の離島バスターミナルまでは30分毎に直行バスがあります。またこのツアーが終わったあと、ANAホテルと旧JALホテルからは離島バスターミナルから送迎バスがあります。初日の観光にお勧めです。水牛に引かれて散策したあと、貰った地図でサイクリング。充実した午後を過ごせます。

I was very satisfied with the packed itinerary that included water buffalo carts, sanshin folk songs, a mangrove cruise, and cycling, and I was able to see the rare crested serpent eagle three times.

Each guide shared interesting stories about Ishigaki, which I found fascinating. The weather was also favorable, and I was moved by the beautiful Ishigaki Blue sea.

I would love to try island hopping again.

水牛車、三線民謡、マングローブクルーズ、サイクリングと盛りだくさんの内容の上、なかなか見れないというカンムリワシに3回もみることができて、大満足です。

それぞれのガイドさんの石垣にまつわる話なども面白く、興味深く聞きました。
天気にも恵まれ、石垣ブルーの海にも感動しました。

また違い島巡りもしてみたいです。
