It was a beginner group event with four participants, including myself. Although I was the only senior just below the age limit, the guide's thoughtfulness, gentle lectures, and skillful compliments allowed us to enjoy ourselves until the end. I felt that we were taken along a gentle route. In the morning, it was a bit dim at first, which made me worried, but as the river is shallow and connects to the sea, it gradually became brighter, revealing beautiful emerald green waters. Paddling alongside the mangroves offered a unique view that only stand-up paddleboarding can provide. Although we couldn't see the sunrise, the morning glow over the sea became a cherished memory! Thank you very much!

私のみ年齢制限前のシニアでしたが、ガイドさんのお気遣いや優しいレクチャー、丁寧で褒め方も上手なので最後まで楽しく過ごせてました。
航路も優しいところを選んでいただけた気がします。
朝は最初少し薄暗くて心配でしたが、川は浅く海に繋がっているので、だんだんと明るくなるにつれてエメラルドグリーンが見えるようになり、とってもきれいでした。
マングローブの脇をゆらゆらと漕いだりするのはsupならではの景色で、朝日は見えませんでしたが、朝焼けの海は心に残る思い出となりました！

Due to the weather, the tour was held at a different location than originally planned. It was my first time doing stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling, but the instructions were very thorough, so I had a great time! It became a wonderful memory of my trip to Okinawa!

The phantom island was a paradise with incredibly beautiful sea colors. The tour was very fulfilling as we were taken to two snorkeling spots. The coral reefs were vibrant and healing.

I was able to paddle through the mangrove river for the first time on a stand-up paddleboard (SUP)! The accommodation was near the island terminal, and they picked me up. On the way to the river, the guide shared stories about the weather in Ishigaki Island, the history of the town, and local agricultural products. I also learned about the mangroves during the nature guide session on the river. I fell off the board once while paddling, but I had a great time! I'm 59 years old, and since I will be subject to age restrictions next year, I'm glad I could do this this time.
マングローブの川を初めてのSUPで進むことが出来ました♪宿が離島ターミナルの近くで、お迎えに来てもらい、川までの道中はガイドさんから石垣島の天候や街の歴史、農産物の話を聞け、川ではマングローブ（ひるぎ）のネイチャーガイドも聞けました。SUPでは一度落ちましたが、とても楽しめました‼️私は59歳で来年は年齢制限にかかるので今回出来て良かったです。

I am very satisfied with the plan itself. The sea was beautiful, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the wetsuit provided was tight, and I couldn't borrow prescription goggles, so I couldn't see clearly while snorkeling. I would appreciate it if you could ask about preferences when making the reservation.

This time, I participated in stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) at Kabira Bay and snorkeling at the Blue Cave. The SUP in the clear waters of Kabira Bay was incredibly refreshing. The instructor was very attentive, making it enjoyable even for beginners!
Although the wind picked up at one point, the guide helped pull us along, so even those without much stamina can participate with peace of mind. The snorkeling was also fantastic; I was very satisfied to see beautiful coral reefs and fish! I was especially moved to see a clownfish up close; it was so cute!
Both activities allowed us to take many beautiful photos, so I was able to capture these memories. Thank you very much for this experience!

I joined to see the coconut crab. I thought it would depend on luck, but I was able to see four of them. How lucky! The excitement of walking through the jungle at night, combined with the guide's excellent guidance and the starry sky, made for an amazing experience. On the bus to and from the location, the guide shared recommendations for shops, so we were fortunate to participate on the first day. This time, I attended with my wife, but I also want to take our children next time.

行き帰りのバスでガイドさんからオススメのお店など教えてもらったので、初日に参加した私達はツイてました。
今回は妻と二人の参加でしたが、子供達も連れて行ってあげたいと思いました。

Almost everyone was trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and snorkeling for the first time! The instructors were very thorough, so I was able to enjoy it to the fullest without any worries, even as a beginner! Thanks to the many wonderful photos taken with the GoPro, I'm reminiscing while looking back at the pictures 😊 It was such a fun experience!!!
At the end, they also recommended a lot of great restaurants for our last bus ride, so I’m looking forward to enjoying the rest of my trip in Ishigaki! ✈️

I participated because I wanted to see various creatures and also observe the starry sky on Ishigaki Island for the first time. The starry sky was incredibly beautiful, and lying on the sandy beach to watch it was the best! The main focus was searching for coconut crabs, and I encountered four of them, including a rare baby coconut crab! The kids also had a great time, so it was wonderful. Although we were informed in advance that he didn't speak English, we managed to communicate quite well with my limited Japanese and he also made a genuine effort to engage with us in the little English he knew. Taro's warm demeanor and friendly personality shone through, and he kept us entertained with some light-hearted jokes along the way. If you have the chance to be guided by either of these amazing individuals, you can rest assured that you'll be in great hands!

From the meeting point at the remote island terminal, it takes about 40 minutes north to observe a sky full of stars along the coast. After that, you can stroll through the forest and limestone caves, looking for insects, animals, and plants. You can enjoy tracking with a guide while listening to explanations about the coconut crabs and bats of Ishigaki Island. However, the explanations about the stars may be somewhat lacking, so if you want to fully enjoy the night sky, I recommend joining a different tour.
集合場所の離島ターミナルから北へ40分、海岸から満天の星を観察できます。そのあと、森と鍾乳洞を散策して昆虫や動物、植物を見つけて歩きます。石垣島のヤシガニ、蝙蝠などなどガイドさんの説明を聞きながら楽しくトラッキングができます。その分星の説明はおざなりなところもあり、がっつり星空を楽しみたい方は別のツアーに参加することを勧めます。

I had planned to go to the Blue Cave, but due to the wind, we went to a different beach. Due to strong winds, we had to change our plans and enjoyed canoeing in the mangroves of Miyara River! It felt amazing, so much so that we didn't even mind the rain! Of course, seeing the mangroves and having fun canoeing was great, but what made it even better was our guide, who kept the atmosphere lively and enjoyable throughout the trip. We participated as a family with a 6-year-old child and parents in their 60s. I was worried because the weather was bad and it was drizzling, but the guide's talk was interesting, and we enjoyed ourselves on the way to the location.
The site was exciting as we ventured into a dark, deep forest that ordinary people can't enter. Walking through caves and rocky areas was also fun. We were able to see about three coconut crabs, which was our main goal. We also found frogs and insects, and my sons, who love insects and reptiles, were thrilled. Although we couldn't see the starry sky due to the rain, there were so many trees that the light rain didn't bother us, and we were very satisfied with the tour.

Unfortunately, the weather was such that we could only see one star, but we were able to enjoy the jungle night tour! It was fun to have a guide through the nighttime jungle, which I definitely couldn't have done on my own, and they explained about the plants and creatures of Ishigaki Island. On the way to the jungle, they also recommended some great dining options, which was very helpful. Thank you to our guides, Mii-chan and Gin-chan!
あいにくの天気で星は一つしか見えませんでしたが、ジャングルナイトツアーは楽しむことができました！
個人では絶対に行けない夜のジャングルをガイドして貰って、石垣島の植物や生き物について解説してくれて楽しかったです。
ジャングルまでの道中では、オススメの飲食店も教えてもらい助かりました。

This time, due to the rain, the jungle tour was the main event, but in conclusion, I was very satisfied. The guide's talk was interesting, and they were also very knowledgeable, which made it enjoyable.
Next time, I definitely want to see the starry sky in the summer when it's clear.

I had more fun than I imagined. 想像以上に楽しめました。

I joined the tour after my dad, who is around retirement age, decided to quit. Although we couldn't see the coconut crabs or the starry sky on this tour, it was surprisingly fun and a bit wild, and I was very satisfied. We explored the bushes and rocky areas, searching for animals.
At the beach, when we turned off the lights, experiencing the darkness that we usually can't feel was also a fun memory. Above all, the guide was great, explaining various things and even taking photos for us, making it a fun and quick tour.
I would like to participate again in the summer. I will try to find the starry sky again. Thank you to all the guides!
アラ還親父が辞めて参加しました。
今回のツアーでは、ヤシガニや星空を観ることは出来なかったのですが、思った以上に楽しくちょっとワイルドなツアーで大変満足しました。茂みや岩場を探索し動物達を探しました。
浜辺では灯りを消したところ、日頃体感できない暗闇を体感できたのも楽しい思い出です。
何よりもガイドのお姉さんが色々と説明くださり、写真も撮ってくれるなど、楽しくあっという間のツアーでした。
次回は夏場に参加したいと思いました。
満点の星空探しをリベンジします。
