This is an efficient course that allows you to visit Iriomote Island, Yufu Island, and Taketomi Island. I think it's great for first-time participants. Unfortunately, the weather was bad from the morning, and we couldn't explore Yufu Island due to the storm, which was disappointing. On Taketomi Island, we had a bus tour, and since it was raining on and off, it was nice to be able to move around without getting wet. I made a reservation for a day's activities, but unfortunately, the snorkeling in the afternoon was canceled due to strong winds. I only participated in canoeing, but it turned out to be a great experience. I'm glad I joined.
First, the day before → I received a phone call in the evening to confirm the time and location for participation. It was very polite. However, while asking for height was fine, asking for weight was a bit much... It would have been better to ask which size of life jacket (S, M, L) I preferred.
On the day → We gathered in front of the red post box 📮, and the meeting place was easy to find, so I didn't get lost. Foreigners and Japanese participants were separated into different groups. I was with only Japanese participants.
In the car, we used an app to register the consent form. Until we arrived, the guide provided information. During this time, the guide, Taishi, recommended delicious restaurants and menu items, which I actually visited. I'm really glad I got those recommendations. It was incredibly helpful advice.
During the activity → There were two guides for four groups of participants. I heard that some people might hurt their backs, which I thought was unlikely, but the position for getting into the canoe was quite tough 💦.
Along the way, the guide took pictures, and I received all the photos as data. They sent me about 20 pictures.
After the activity → I borrowed a free shower to change. I wonder if the shower room doesn't have a lock... that was a bit concerning.
Overall, the quality of the guides was high. The photo service was also good. The content and duration of the activities were just right. It was disappointing that the snorkeling was canceled, but I will definitely participate next time! I had a lot of fun.

カヌーだけの参加となりましたが、すごくいい体験になりました。参加してよかったです。
まず前日→夕方に電話がかかってきて参加時間場所などの確認があり。すごく丁寧。ただ、身長はいいけど体重まで聞かれるのは…ライフジャケットはS.M.Lどれがいいかくらいの聞き方が良かった…
当日→赤いポスト前集合📮集合場所は分かりやすくて迷わず。外国人と日本人は別々のグループで分けてくれていた。同行は日本人のみ。
車の中でアプリを使って同意書の登録。到着まではガイドさんから案内。この時のガイドたいしさんから美味しいお店やメニューを教えていただいて、実際行きました。教えてもらってて本当よかった。めちゃくちゃありがたいアドバイスでした。
アクティビティ中→参加者4組に対してガイドは2人ついてくれた。
腰を痛める人もいるとかで、まさか〜と思ったけど、カヌーに乗る態勢ってなかなか辛い💦
途中ガイドさんが写真をとってくれて、写真はすべてデータでもらえます。20枚くらい送ってくれました。
解散後→無料のシャワーをかりて着替えました。シャワー室は鍵がついてないのかな…ちょっと不安ですね。
全体としてガイドさんたちの質が高い。写真撮影などのサービスもよい。アクティビティの内容も時間もちょうどいい。
シュノーケル中止は残念でしたが、次回ぜひ参加します！凄く楽しかったです。

The weather was drizzly and the waves were rough, but the rocking of the boat felt like an attraction, and both the kids and we enjoyed it. Taketomi Island is a small island, but it has a peaceful atmosphere, and even in the rain, I enjoyed feeling the unchanged scenery from the past.

I originally had a snorkeling reservation on a different island, but I received a cancellation notice the day before, and I was wondering what to do. That's when I found and booked this tour departing from Ishigaki Island with the same company. Due to the wave conditions, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave and had to change to snorkeling at the beach, but I was just grateful that they were able to hold the event since it was the main highlight of my trip.
The guide mentioned that there weren't many creatures around today, but I was able to see plenty of fish, and it was a lot of fun. I heard that there aren't many days in winter when you can go to the Blue Cave, so I would like to try again in a different season.
元々違う島でシュノーケリングの予約していましたが前日に中止の連絡があり、どうしようかなと思っていたところ同じ会社の石垣島発のこちらのツアーを見つけて予約しました。波の状況で青の洞窟には行けずビーチでシュノーケリングに変更になりましたが、旅のメインイベントだったので開催してもらえただけでもありがたかったです。
ガイドさんは今日はあんまり生きものいないなぁとおっしゃっていましたが、全然たくさんのお魚をみることができて楽しかったです。
冬は青の洞窟に行ける日があまりないとの事だったのでまた違う季節にリベンジしたいと思います。

We were picked up at our hotel for an early start at 7:10 AM to visit three islands. The tour was packed with activities, including a boat ride, water buffalo experience, and a mangrove cruise. It felt like we could see and do everything we wanted with this great tour. The lunch was delicious as well.
Even though it was a cold December, we were fortunate with the weather. In the morning, a short-sleeve shirt was a bit chilly, but by midday, it was hot enough that you needed short sleeves. Riding a bicycle around Taketomi Island made us sweat, but I think it's better to rent a bike if you're going to explore the beaches.
ホテルまで送迎いただき、3島めぐるので朝は7時10分と早めのお迎え。
船も水牛もマングローブクルージングも付いていて盛りだくさん。
行きたい所見たいもの全てこれで叶う感じの良いツアーでした。
ランチも美味しかったです。
12月の寒い時期ですが、お天気にも恵まれ、朝は半袖じゃ寒いですが、昼間は半袖じゃなきゃ暑いくらいでした。
竹富島の自転車巡りは汗だくでしたが、浜巡りするなら自転車借りた方がいいと思います。

Cycling on Taketomi Island was difficult because of the sandy paths. I think it's better to walk around and see the houses on Taketomi Island. I thought it might be cold with a temperature of around 25°C, but when the sun was out, it felt warm, and while paddling on the SUP, it was actually quite hot! I was able to swim just fine while wearing a wetsuit for snorkeling! The guide was always attentive to our well-being, which made it easy to enjoy ourselves. 🤙 The sea and river weren't crowded at all, so we could move around freely and leisurely. I think coming here in winter could be a great option!

The young female staff at the reception was very polite and explained everything clearly. Although the wind was strong, I didn't feel seasick, and it was impressive to see about four staff members waving goodbye as we departed from Ishigaki Island. The water buffalo, Yufu Island, the bus driver, and the female staff for the mangrove tour at Nakama River were all very kind and provided thorough explanations. However, I was really looking forward to the free time on Taketomi Island at the end. I had planned to spend the entire next day on Taketomi Island, so I wanted to take 2-3 hours to scout the area. While I was wandering around trying to find a rental bicycle place within walking distance from the port, an older man shouted, "The rental bicycles are this way!" When I approached to ask, he said, "Just get in the car for now!" even though I clearly told him I hadn't made a reservation.
After getting out of the car and trying to proceed with the rental bicycle process, the female staff at the reception said, "Only renting a bicycle? You can't get in the car unless it's part of the water buffalo package." When I explained that I had told the man I was only renting a bicycle and hadn't made a reservation, she seemed reluctant. I suddenly felt uncomfortable and tried to leave, but I was prompted to write my name down, so I borrowed the bicycle for a bit. However, I was worried about the bus schedule back to the port and ended up returning it after just one hour. Renting a bicycle for a whole day would have allowed for a more relaxed experience, but 2,000 yen for just two hours felt expensive, especially during the off-season.
I had imagined Taketomi Island to be a more leisurely place, but it felt very rushed, which was disappointing, and I decided not to go back the next day. 受付の若い女性スタッフさんとても丁寧で分かりやすく説明してくれました。風が強かったが船に酔うこともなく、石垣島を出港する時スタッフさんが4人位でずっと手を振ってくれていたのが印象的。水牛も由布島もバスの運転手さん、仲間川のマングローブ遊覧の女性スタッフさん、とても親切丁寧に説明をしてくださり、昼食も美味しくとても良かった！ただ、一番楽しみにしていた最後の竹富島フリータイム。翌日丸一日を竹富島に行こうと計画していたので、2〜3時間かけて下見をしようと思っていたが、港から歩いていけるレンタサイクルさんがどういっていいかウロウロしていたら、おじさんが「レンタサイクルはこっちー！」と叫んでいて、聞いてみようと近くに行ったら「レンタサイクルだけ？とりあえず乗って！」と車に乗せられた。予約 もしていないとハッキリ伝えていた。車を降り、レンタサイクルの手続きをしようとしたところ、受付の女性に「レンタサイクルだけ？水牛とセットじゃないと車には乗れないんですけど？」と言われた。おじさんに予約してないし、レンタサイクルのみと伝えたと言うと、何だか渋々。一気に嫌な気分になり、出ようとしたが、ここに名前書いてーと促され、とりあえず借りたが、港までのバスの時間だとか、あれこれ気になって結局1時間で返し、港に向かった。レンタサイクル1日借りられればゆったり出来るだろうが、2時間で2000円は高い。オフシーズンなのに。竹富島のイメージがもっとゆったりとしたものと思っていたがとてもせわしなく、がっかりしてしまい翌日も行くのをやめた。元々竹富島だけに行こうと考えていたので、ツアーに参加して他の島も行くことが出来てよかったです。

It was raining, but I didn't mind at all because the red brick houses and the water buffalo provided the best healing experience!
