I was able to enjoy the atmosphere of each island. The driver’s island guide during the transfer on Iriomote Island was easy to understand. The mangrove boat tour also had thorough explanations, and the guide took their time to show us, allowing us to understand the characteristics of each tree. I recommend this for those who want to visit the remote islands but have concerns about the tourist routes.

Our family isn't great at early morning departures, but considering the afternoon heat, it was the right choice.

The guidance at each location was smooth and well-handled, so we didn't get lost. The explanation about the mangroves at Nakama River was clear thanks to the enthusiastic staff, and on the bus to Yubu Island, the driver's lively talk about life and prices on Iriomote Island (I was surprised to hear that bean sprouts cost 170 yen) and eating goat sashimi provided us with some interesting insights.

The main goal was the water buffalo cart, and it seemed like not everyone was going to play the sanshin, so on the way back, we hopped on a water buffalo cart with a performance and thoroughly enjoyed it.

On Taketomi Island, I had my first glass-bottom boat experience, and I got to ride the water buffalo cart for the second time. By chance, there was a performance of my favorite song "Dōgami," which moved me deeply. I do wish we had more time on Taketomi Island.

Given the season, it's no surprise that the heat was quite intense. Staying hydrated, wearing hats, and using parasols are essential. The sweat we worked up could only be washed off at the hotel.

My two sons experienced the Yaeyama Islands for the first time, and I believe it will be a lifelong memory for them. I think the staff must be having a tough time in the heat, but I hope they continue to greet guests with wonderful smiles. I would love to use their services again if the opportunity arises.

早朝出発が苦手な我が一家ですが、午後の暑さを考えると正解でした。

各地での誘導は手馴れた様子でスムーズに、こちらが迷うこともありませんでした。
仲間川マングローブもお姉さんのハキハキした説明でわかりやすく、それから由布島に移動するバスでも運転手さんの軽快なトークで西表島の生活や物価(もやし170円には驚き)、ヤギを刺身で食べるなど、なかなか知り得ないお話を聞けてよかったです。

1番の目的だった水牛車は皆さんが三線を演奏する訳ではなさそうなので、戻りに演奏付きの水牛車に乗り込み、堪能させて頂きました。

竹富島では初めてのグラスボート体験
そして2度目の水牛車に乗せてもらい、偶然にも大好きな「童神」の演奏があり、心から感動しました。
竹富島の滞在時間が短かったのはちょっと心残りかな…。

この時期なので当然といえば当然ですが、暑さはかなりのものです。
こまめな水分補給、帽子・日傘必須。
かいた汗はホテルでさっぱり流すしかありません。

息子二人は初めての八重山諸島でしたが、一生の記憶に残してくれたことと思います。
スタッフの方々も暑くて大変だと思いますが、これからも素敵な笑顔で迎えていただきたいです。
また機会あれば利用したいです。

The bus tour was also fun, as the driver and guide kept the atmosphere lively with interesting talks! The highlight was Yubu Island! The little water buffalo that had just debuted was so cute. The view of crossing the sea was lovely as well. There were many rare tropical plants on the island, which was wonderful! I was also satisfied to take a photo with the water buffalo at the end! However, my child took a long time to eat lunch, so the free time felt a bit short... I wished we could have explored a bit more. I think once my child gets a bit older, we might be more satisfied with that aspect.

The mangrove tour was very sunny and hot, so it's important to stay hydrated. The kids were a bit fussy throughout since we had to wake up early. I felt that this kind of tour might be a bit too early for children of this age. (The parents got tired. Haha.) The water buffalo cart and sightseeing in Yubujima were very enjoyable, as the water buffalo were adorable. The lunch bento included ingredients and dishes typical of Okinawa, which was great. The kids had zaru soba separately. I recommend taking commemorative photos with the water buffalo during the Yubujima tour. Since it starts early, I think parents with preschoolers should ensure they get a good night's sleep the night before to enjoy the tour.

4歳と2歳の子供を連れて参加しました。コロナ禍ということもあり、基本はマスクをずっと着用しました。（子供も）マングローブ遊覧はとにかく日差しが強い、暑いので水分補給はこまめにした方がいいです。子ども達は朝が早かったこともあり、終始ぐづついていました…。これくらいの歳の子達にはまだマングローブ遊覧は早いかな？という印象でした。（親が疲れました。笑）由布島の水牛車や観光は、水牛さん達が可愛くてとても楽しかったです。お昼のお弁当も沖縄らしい食材や料理が入っており、すごく良いです。子ども達は別途、ざる蕎麦を食べさせました。由布島観光の水牛さんとの記念撮影はオススメです。朝が早いので未就学児連れの方はツアーを楽しむためにも前日しっかり寝かせておいた方がいいと思います。

However, for someone like me who was visiting for the first time, this speed was actually very comfortable. We got to sample the best parts of each island and fully enjoy the main attractions, which made for a very high level of satisfaction. If there’s an island I particularly liked, I can visit it again next time, and since I've already been there once, I think I’ll be able to enter smoothly and enjoy it even more!

This tour was perfect for our family, who are beginners at visiting remote islands (father, mother who is four months pregnant, and a five-year-old child)! It was an efficient way to visit the classics.

Since transportation costs and lunch are included, we could move smoothly without any hesitation. The round-trip high-speed ferry is relatively large, so even with slightly high waves, it was comfortable and we didn't get seasick. We were able to take a nap during the trip, which allowed us to explore the islands energetically.

The lunch featuring mimiga (pork ear) with shikuwasa and purple sweet potato tempura was delicious and memorable! Our five-year-old child was free for the tour, so they didn't have lunch, but the portion was large enough that we could share from the mother's plate, which worked out perfectly.

I felt that the time spent on Taketomi Island was short. It was a remote island where I could appreciate the atmosphere and the beauty of the sea. I would love to visit again next time, especially the cobalt blue Kondoi Beach and Kaiji Beach, where you can find star sand.

移動費も昼食代も込みなので、あれこれ迷うことなくスムーズに行動できます。
往復の高速フェリーも大きめなので、波が少々高くても船酔いしにくく安心。移動中も仮眠を取れたので、元気に離島を巡ることができました。

昼食のシークワサー風ミミガーと紫芋の芋もちのようなウムクジ天ぷらが美味しくて印象的でした！5歳の子どもはツアー料金無料なので昼食は出ませんでしたが、1人分の量が多いので母の分を取り分けてあげて丁度良かったです。

竹富島の滞在時間が短く感じました。
島内の雰囲気や海の美しさが好きだなぁと思える離島でした。コバルトブルーのコンドイビーチや、星の砂が見つかるカイジ浜など、また次回ゆっくり訪れたいです。

It was my first visit to Ishigaki Island, so I signed up for a tour plan. The order of the islands may change depending on the tides of the day. The tour of Ishigaki Island is perfect for those without a car, allowing you to efficiently visit the highlights of the island in about half a day. At Kabira Bay, you can choose to ride a glass-bottom boat or go for a walk. The glass-bottom boat was available at a special tour price, making it a great deal. We even saw turtles!

The guide continuously shared various stories about Ishigaki Island without a break, which was very enjoyable. For lunch, there were plenty of local dishes, and I left feeling full. The view from there was also very beautiful.

In the latter part of the tour on Taketomi Island, there was no guide, but we showed our tickets to board the boat, and upon arrival, we were quickly picked up by a car, which then took us to ride a water buffalo cart. The flow of the tour was very smooth, which was great.

During the photo session with the water buffalo, we received a free commemorative photo, which was a wonderful keepsake. After that, we explored on our own, but due to the busy season in July, all the rental bicycles were fully booked, so I couldn't rent one. If you want to rent a bicycle, it might be a good idea to make a reservation in advance.

I explored on foot and enjoyed a leisurely time for about an hour and a half. For the return boat, you can choose between 4 PM or 5 PM. The shuttle bus to the boat was also smoothly arranged, which was very good.

I think this is a great plan for first-time visitors.

お昼はちゃんと土地の物のおかずが沢山ありお腹いっぱいになります。そこからの景色もとても美しいです。
後半の竹富島はガイドさんはおらず、各自で最初にもらったチケットを見せて船に乗り、向こうではすぐお迎えの車に乗れ、その後水牛車にすぐ乗車できます。流れがとてもスムーズで大変良かったです。
その後の水牛との写真撮影では無料の記念の写真も貰えとても良い記念になりました。
その後は各自散策しますが、７月の繁忙期のため着いてからレンタサイクルは予約がいっぱいで借りられませんでした。もしレンタサイクル希望なら事前に予約がいいかもしれません。
私は徒歩で散策しましたが、約１時間半のんびりできました。
帰りの船は、16時か17時で選べます。船までの送迎バスも予約がスムーズでとても良かったです。
初めての人にはとても良いプランだと思います。

Since it was my first time in the Yaeyama Islands, I joined this tour that allows you to visit three islands in one day. It was packed with activities, and by the end, I had such a fulfilling day that I was completely exhausted.

It was a sunny day in July, so it was really hot, and staying hydrated and protecting against UV rays were essential. The UV levels are said to be seven times higher than in Tokyo. Since this is a daytime tour, I think it's especially important for those visiting in the summer to take precautions.

The guide's stories were all fascinating, and I got a glimpse into the history of the islands and the lives of the residents, which made me want to learn more about the Yaeyama Islands. It was a valuable experience. Thank you very much.

7月のよく晴れた日でしたので、とにかく暑く水分補給と紫外線対策が必須でした。紫外線量は東京の7倍だそうです。日中のツアーなので、夏に行かれる方は特に対策されるのがいいかと思います。

We set sail on a boat and immediately headed to the mangrove cruise in Iriomote Island... The explanations were very easy to understand, and I was satisfied! After that, we moved by bus and rode water buffalo to Yufu! While enjoying the scenery from the water buffalo, we explored the botanical garden in Yufu and had delicious food! Afterward, we returned by bus and took a boat to Taketomi Island... The bus tour included a stroll on the star sand and sightseeing in Taketomi by water buffalo... everything was fantastic‼︎ On the way back, we adjusted the bus transfer schedule and explored the bustling streets of Ishigaki, where I was able to buy souvenirs! If I had to mention one thing, it would be that the remote islands don't have trash cans, so it's better to bring a bag for your trash. Thank you very much! (^^)

In the morning, due to the weather conditions, some activities were changed (we even experienced the subtropical weather!). Thanks to the staff prioritizing safety, I had an amazing time exploring the Blue Cave and zip-lining over the river!

During the lunch break, we had our meal at a location featured in the advertisement on the transport vehicle. In the afternoon, we had our first experience with SUP, starting with a briefing before cruising through the subtropical jungle (mangroves). The areas thick with mangroves were surprisingly cool, and I got so immersed in the activities that I lost track of time!

The conversations with Shintaro, Taro, and Kuma were entertaining and filled with interesting trivia, making the journey enjoyable. They also took plenty of photos, making it a fantastic day that will be a cherished memory for me.

午前中は天候の都合でアクティビティの一部が変更になりましたが（亜熱帯らしさの天候も体験！）スタッフさんが安全を第一に考えていただいたおかげで青の洞窟探検と川でターザンするのをめちゃくちゃ楽しめました！

I participated in this trip as a solo traveler. Although I felt a bit lonely since there were no other solo travelers, the continuous beautiful scenery made me forget about that. If I could be a little selfish, I would have liked to extend my stay on Iriomote Island and do a bit more sightseeing by bus. Conversely, I think half the time on Yufu Island would have been sufficient. I appreciated that on Taketomi Island, I could choose my return time. As a solo traveler, I was able to see everything quickly, so I had extra time. Overall, it was a wonderful tour that created lovely memories.

The mangrove SUP was great! They taught us how to paddle properly, so I felt at ease. I was also happy that they took group photos at various spots and shared them with us later.

During the ride, they talked about recommended shops and suggested different places for lunch, where I enjoyed a delicious hamburger. The snorkeling was fantastic too; I got to see a sea turtle and was very satisfied. Thank you!

【Daily Schedule】After exploring the mangroves of Miyara River by SUP, we took about an hour and a half lunch break at Ishigaki Port. We then regrouped and enjoyed snorkeling and exploring the Blue Cave. Including transportation, it was a full day of about 7 hours! ☺︎【Highlights】① Transportation to and from the hotel is included! ② The guides for both Miyara River and the Blue Cave are great at keeping the energy up! I created wonderful memories that surpassed the beautiful scenery in front of me. ☺︎ ③ It was a challenging environment to bring phones or cameras, but the guides took a lot of photos for us. Looking back at those photos after returning, I already miss Ishigaki Island. ④ Overall, it was a very fulfilling experience with great cost performance! 【For Those Hesitating】This isn't limited to this activity, but it seems that the weather can affect the scenery and experiences available.
