The tour bus guide was amazing. They were great at storytelling, and there was even a live performance with a sanshin during the tour, making the time fly by. In the afternoon, the guide for the water buffalo cart on Taketomi Island entertained us with a comedic act that matched the buffalo's movements, and there was also a live performance with the sanshin. I took a tour around Taketomi Island pulled by an ox, and the guide with the long beard shared stories that only someone living on Taketomi Island would know, which was enjoyable. It was my first trip to Ishigaki Island, and I didn't use a rental car. I'm glad I made the reservation early. On the day of the trip, the bus was nearly full. Since boarding is on a first-come, first-served basis, arriving early allows you to choose your seats on the bus.
The bus guide was very skilled in both guidance and singing, making the time pass quickly. The lunch was delicious with a variety of side dishes.

I used this service because I could do some sightseeing on the last day of my trip while heading to New Ishigaki Airport. The friendly guide provided explanations during the tour, and it was even better when they played the sanshin and sang folk songs at the end. ♡ After the glass boat (for those who wanted to participate), we had lunch right away, which was tough for me since I got seasick. There was a brief lecture, and then we headed straight to the sea. Despite the clouds and occasional rain, I started off sitting down and then switched to standing once I assessed the wind conditions. At first, I struggled to get the hang of it and wasn't making much progress, but once I got used to it, I found it enjoyable and was soothed by the clarity of the water. I deducted one star because the scenery would have been better if it had been sunny, but I definitely recommend the tour! I wanted to use this service when I first visited Ishigaki Island in June last year, but it was suspended, possibly due to COVID-19, so I used it this time in February. I'm not confident in driving, and the local buses have limited schedules, so it was great to efficiently visit the highlights of Ishigaki Island.
The impression can change with the weather, but if the weather is nice, it's a five-star course! The cost performance is also good, with lunch included for under 5,000 yen for half a day.
Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but the blue of Kabira Bay was still beautiful. Thanks to the guide, I was able to learn about the origins of the Tomb of the Chinese and Tōrin-ji Temple. There were many solo participants, so it was enjoyable to exchange information during lunch. The option to choose to board a glass-bottom boat on-site (I rode one in June, and this time, since it was cloudy, I opted for local sightseeing) and the flexibility to get off at Ishigaki Airport were also nice.
Next, I would like to visit Hirakubo Cape Lighthouse, so I would be happy if there were other bus tours that I could easily join, like this one.
昨年６月に初めて石垣島へ行った時に利用したかったのですが、コロナの影響か運休中で、今回２月に利用しました。
車の運転に自信がないですし、路線バスも本数が限られているので、効率よく石垣島の見どころを回れるのは良かったです。
天候で印象が変わりますが、お天気が良かったら☆５つのコースです！半日でランチが付いて5,000円以下とコストパフォーマンスも良いです。
生憎の曇天でしたが、それでも川平湾のブルーは綺麗でした。
また、ガイドさんのおかげで、唐人墓や桃林寺の由来を知ることが出来て良かったです。石垣島の文化や南国のお花の説明など、多岐に渡って説明していただき、とっても楽しく学ぶことが出来ました。
一人参加の方も多かったので、ランチ時には情報交換などできて楽しかったです。
グラスボートの乗船も現地で選択可（→６月の時にグラスボートに乗ったし、今回は曇天だったので周辺観光にしました。）だったり、石垣島空港で下車も可能で、融通が利くのも良いですね。
次は平久保埼灯台とかも行ってみたいので、今回のように手軽に参加できる違うコースのバスツアーがあると嬉しいですね。

It was both of our first time on a SUP, but we were able to get on easily. The instructors were all very kind, and it was a lot of fun. The temperature was surprisingly warm for the end of February, so it felt great to jump into the sea. Both the ocean and the scenery were very beautiful, and it became a wonderful memory. Due to the weather, we changed from the originally planned SUP at Kawahira Bay to mangrove SUP, but I was able to participate and have fun. During the drive to and from the location, we had enjoyable conversations about the scenery along the way and the history of the island, which were very interesting. It was my first time doing SUP, but they taught me carefully, and I was able to maneuver it right away. Paddling while standing felt great, and the discussions about the mangroves and the flora and fauna of the stone walls on both sides of the river were enjoyable. The day before, I participated in a three-island tour, and on this day, I initially thought about taking a route bus to the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay. You can efficiently enjoy sightseeing in Ishigaki Island from the morning. I was able to listen to the sounds of the three lines and savor a hamburger made with Ishigaki beef. Kabira Bay is also beautiful and highly recommended. There’s a shop for black pearls, so it’s definitely a place you want to visit.

In conclusion, it was a very good tour!
Since it was stated that same-day reservations were okay, I considered making a reservation depending on the weather. On the day of my arrival, the weather looked good while I was on the plane, but I couldn't select same-day booking. Since the weather was suitable for another day, I made a reservation for a different day. Just to be sure, I directly contacted the tour company, and they informed me that it was a system issue and that changes could be made on the day of. They changed it for me on the same day. Furthermore, I received advice that the conditions were better in the morning than in the afternoon due to the tides, so after arriving at the airport, I rented a car and went straight there!
Additionally, parking was free. I don't think the entrance was too difficult to find.
One slight disappointment was that the voice of the guide and captain inside the glass-bottom boat was hard to hear... However, they repeated the names of the fish and important information twice, so it wasn't like I didn't understand anything.

念のためツアー会社に直接問い合わせたところ、システム上の問題なので当日に変更可能ですとの回答をいただき、当日に変更していただきました。
さらに、潮の関係で予約していた午後よりも午前の方が条件が良いですよとアドバイスをいただき、
空港到着後レンタカーを借りて直行しました！
しかも駐車場も無料でした。エントランスもそんなにわかりにくくないと思います。
ちょっと残念は、グラスボート内のガイド兼船長の方の声が聞きにくかった、、、。
でも、魚の名前や重要なことは２回繰り返して言われていたので、
わからないって感じでは、なかったです。
とても良い条件で参加させていただき、大変感謝しております！

During the pickup, the road near the start of the marathon at the remote island terminal took some time as vehicles had to stop to let the runners pass. However, the pickup service was in good communication with the local staff and took alternative routes, allowing us to arrive before the meeting time. The bus company mentioned that due to the marathon, there might be delays with the ferry to Taketomi Island, but they coordinated with the ferry company regarding which ferry to take depending on whether we arrived on time or not, so we could participate in the tour without any worries. The bus guide was also great at singing and made the tour enjoyable with humor. It was wonderful!

I had done some research on the places we would visit, but I think you can enjoy it fully without any preparation since the guide provides information.
For an additional 1,000 yen, there was also time to ride a glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay, and the lunch set allowed me to experience the flavors of Ishigaki Island, which was delicious. It was great to leisurely and efficiently visit the island's attractions with a charming guide who spoke with a smile. Not only did we see the tourist spots, but we also received explanations about various places on the island that we wouldn't have known about on our own, which felt like a great value.
For lunch, we enjoyed Ishizaka beef hamburgers and Miminga at a restaurant with a nice view, and everything was very delicious.
Lastly, we got to listen to some sanshin songs, which made for wonderful memories. I highly recommend it! ❣️

I had a great time. The guide was very experienced and explained things while occasionally playing the sanshin. It was a sunny day, so the scenery was fantastic, and there were moments when the guide took photos for us. The optional glass-bottom boat ride was also wonderful; the sea was very beautiful, and we were able to see sea turtles and coral.

I thought there would be a guide for the sightseeing tour who would take us from the hotel pickup to the hotel on the way back. However, in reality, we went from the hotel to the tourist information center, received a voucher, and then took a regular sightseeing bus around. After that, we had to make our own way to the boarding point for the boat and calculate our own time. Also, I didn't find the lunch to be that delicious. Perhaps I had too high expectations.
観光ツアーという事だったので、てっきり引率の人がいてホテルのピックアップから帰りのホテルまで案内してくれると思いこんでいました。ですが実際はホテルから観光案内所に行き、引換券をもらって定期観光バスで周り、その後は自分たちで船の乗船所に行き、と…自分たちで時間を計算して動かないと行けなかったです。またお昼もそんなに美味しいと感じませんでした。期待しすぎていたのがいけなかったのかもしれません。
