Renting a car is expensive, and with lunch included, I didn't have to drive. The bus was always cool, so I didn't have to return to a sweltering vehicle after sightseeing. Starting with the friendly reception staff at the bus company, and the fun storytelling of our professional bus guide, Chieko, I’m really glad we chose this company! (I’m not sure if there are other companies in Ishigaki.) We were blessed with great weather and truly enjoyed the beautiful Ishigaki Island. But it was hot! The air-conditioned bus was a blessing! The only downside (?) was that the bus seats were a bit narrow for my American husband. But that’s just something he can fix by losing some weight! We were dropped off directly at the airport, and it was the perfect length for sightseeing. I highly recommend it. I hope you get Chieko as your guide!

I'm glad I was able to visit the main tourist spots in Ishigaki Island in half a day. There was a bit of concern when the driver hit the mirror and we had to switch buses, but we ended up finishing the tour on schedule without any delays. It would have been even better if we could have spent a little more time at each spot. I really appreciated being able to visit places like the Yonehara Yaeyama Palm Forest, which are difficult to reach on your own.

I recommend this for those who have a flight back around 3 PM. On the last day, you can enjoy a complete tour around Ishigaki Island without wasting time starting from 9 AM. In the end, they drop you off at the airport.

Depending on the weather, you can fully enjoy the charm of the outer rim of Ishigaki Island. You can visit places you might not have gone to alone and gain knowledge you wouldn't have otherwise. If the weather had been good, Kabira Bay and Tamatorizaki Observatory would have surely offered stunning views. Unfortunately, it was slightly cloudy, so I could only experience about half of its beauty, but I was very satisfied. The guide entertained us with interesting trivia and a variety of songs and shamisen performances!

We went to the beautiful sea of Ishigaki Island to celebrate my partner's birthday. It was my first time doing a SUP tour and snorkeling, and the weather was perfect with a clear blue sea, which was amazing. During snorkeling, our guide, Arai, shared knowledge about Ishigaki Island on the bus ride and provided detailed explanations of the equipment in the water. He also took beautiful photos of us, and we were lucky enough to encounter a sea turtle, which was fantastic. However, I did feel a bit seasick while diving, so those who are prone to motion sickness might want to bring some medication.

During the SUP tour, we had a great time on the water thanks to our cheerful coach, Yusuke. The "Nice in!" cheers when we fell into the water were the best! We even sang a birthday song together on the water, which made my partner very happy. We took a lot of photos, creating wonderful memories. Thank you very much!

This was actually my second time experiencing this. When I arrived at Kabira Bay, I was immediately captivated by the beautiful sea. Just seeing this scenery makes me truly feel that it was worth coming here.

After thoroughly enjoying the view, I completed the check-in and finally boarded the boat. Depending on the day and the boat, the number of guests may vary, but those who boarded together are bound by some connection and will become companions to enjoy the cruise until the end.

While admiring the beautiful coastal scenery, the boat soon headed to the coral point. The captain guided us while we admired the beautiful branching corals and round corals. There were many mysterious creatures on the seabed. Various colorful fish, including a type of clownfish, decorated the bottom of the boat.

The boat continued further out, depending on the day and the captain, venturing boldly into the open sea. It felt like we were almost near the open ocean, as the color of the water deepened to a more vibrant blue, revealing the depth below. The mystery increased, and we encountered coral formations that could only be seen while diving, along with larger fish.

Before long, the cruise came to an end, and we returned to the shore, fully satisfied. Finally, I indulged in delicious Blue Seal ice cream at one of the many shops near the check-in area, or enjoyed tasty Yaeyama soba at the park tea house. This was an absolutely recommended glass-bottom boat tour.

美しい岸辺の景色を見ながら、ボートは程なくしてサンゴポイントへ。綺麗なエダサンゴや丸いサンゴをみつつ、船長さんがガイドしてくれます。
海底には不思議な生き物が沢山。クマノミの一種や、それに属するような色々な煌びやかな魚達が、ボートの底面を彩ってくれます。

ボートは更に進み、日によって？船長さんによって？グングン沖に繰り出して行きます。もう、ほとんど外海に近いのか、底面の色は益々青く一変し、深度が伺える沖合に出てきました。
神秘さは更に増して、ダイビングでもしなければ見られないようなサンゴの群生、更にサイズの大きな魚達と巡り会えました。

程なくしてクルーズは終了、大満喫のうちに岸辺に戻り。最後は受付付近に沢山ある売店で、美味しいブルーシールアイスを堪能。若しくは公園茶屋で美味しい八重山そばを食べるのお良いでしょう。
以上、絶対オススメのグラスボートツアーをお届けしました。

I finally visited Kabira Bay, which I had wanted to see for a long time, and decided to take a glass-bottom boat! The day after participating in the island tour, I joined a tour around the island, but I was disappointed that the schedule was tight and rushed, leaving no time to relax and enjoy the sightseeing at all. I understand that the tour was arranged to fit the flight departure times, but only a few guests got off at the airport, while the majority returned to the bus center. Moreover, the tour ended quite early, making it difficult to fill the time afterward.

The content was good, so I believe the stay at each sightseeing spot should be extended to at least double the time. I thought the tour could be extended until the evening. My satisfaction with the island tour is quite low.

I used this service at the end of my trip to Ishigaki Island. As a beginner in Ishigaki, I found it to be a very worthwhile tour that allowed me to visit historical sites and attractions. I felt a great impression from the guide who subtly promoted Higashi Kotsu. Next time, I will use Higashi Kotsu's route bus. As an option, I recommend the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay.
