We participated in our first stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) experience and sea turtle snorkeling as a family of five on Miyako Island. It was our first time doing SUP, but the staff were very cheerful and kind, which made us feel safe and glad we participated. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see any sea turtles while snorkeling, but a funny guy from Kansai with a wonderful smile worked hard to take pictures with Nemo, and we are grateful for the lovely memories captured in those photos. Thank you!
初めての宮古島で家族5人で初sup体験とウミガメシュノーケリングに参加しました。初めてのsupでしたがスタッフ方がとても明るく親切で安心して体験する事ができ、参加して良かったです。シュノーケリングは残念ながらウミガメには会えませんでしたが、笑顔が素敵な関西人の面白いお兄さんが一生懸命にニモと撮影して頂き、素敵な思い出の写真も感謝です。ありがとうございます。

I arrived at Kaimanjima for the 22:20 start time. It was my first time on a remote island, and I was nervous since there were almost no streetlights.
I managed to pit in early at what seemed like the meeting place, and when I stepped outside, fireflies were dancing around, and the sky was filled with stars 🌌. I was so impressed by the beautiful sky, just like when I was a child (;[];)
Thanks to Afro-san's appearance, I recognized him right away, and we moved to the spot with just my phone as a light source. When I turned it off, the surroundings were filled with stars 🌟. It was the first time I saw the Milky Way so clearly down low. I've participated in several starry sky tours, but this was the most beautiful one yet.
He also gave precise pose advice for the photos, and we finished quickly! It seems the retouched photos will arrive in about a week. I'm looking forward to it ⸝⸝> ̫ <⸝⸝ ︎
Since the photos are taken one group at a time, you can enjoy yourself without worrying, so I highly recommend it.

初めての離島に、街灯もほぼなくドキドキ。
なんとか集合場所らしき所に早めにﾋﾟｯﾄｲﾝし、外に出たら蛍も飛び交い空は満天の星空🌌子供の頃みて以来の綺麗な空に大感激(;[];)
アフロさんの見た目のお陰で直ぐに分かって、スポットへ移動は携帯のみ持参。ライト代わり。消したら周りは星一面🌟 天の川があんなに下の方にクッキリ見えたの初めてです。 星空ツアーいくつか参加しましたが、過去一綺麗でした。
写真も的確にポーズアドバイスしてくれて、サクッと完了！1週間ほどレタッチ等して届くそうです。楽しみ⸝⸝> ̫ <⸝⸝ ︎
1組ずつ撮影なので気にせず楽しめるのでオススメです。
Be careful as there are people parked along the road to watch the starry sky. Since they are not used to the darkness, I recommend going early.

We participated as a family of four. After the typhoon, the event was rescheduled by a day, and thanks to that, the sea was clear and very beautiful. Our guide, Hikaru, was very kind and attentive, allowing us to enjoy the sea with peace of mind. The various stories shared were also enjoyable. We got to see sea turtles and Nemo, and we took wonderful photos, which made us very satisfied! All the pictures were fantastic, which was another pleasant surprise. The kids also seemed very happy, saying, "The big brother was so nice!" Thank you for sharing information about restaurants and tourist spots! It was my first time snorkeling, but the guidance from our instructor, Hikaru, was easy to understand, and even I, who am not good at swimming, was able to swim smoothly!
Although the waves were a bit rough before the typhoon, I was glad to see sea turtles, Nemo, and many other fish.
The photos and videos were taken beautifully, creating memories for a lifetime!

We participated as a family of five. It was our first time canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding, but we received thorough instructions, and everyone was thrilled. The snorkeling tour was even more enjoyable than we imagined, and the guide took plenty of photos, which made us very happy. The process from check-in to the end was smooth and reassuring. We challenged ourselves to snorkeling for the first time as a family of four. At first, we were a bit anxious, but our guide, Hikaru, provided thorough and appropriate explanations, and we truly enjoyed the experience from start to finish! We were able to see sea turtles up close, and the photos taken were absolutely beautiful—almost identical in quality to those on the website. We also got fantastic family shots with the sea turtles, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Additionally, we were grateful for the video recording as well. It's no surprise that this tour is rated number one for satisfaction! I highly recommend this tour!!

The person in charge was Matsuura from Tabiwaku Miyakojima, and they provided very attentive support, allowing us to encounter three sea turtles! After checking the weather conditions for the day, we received information about the meeting place. The two women relied on Google Maps, and since it was midnight and the road was pitch dark, we were really anxious... When we arrived and met the photographer, I was relieved to find he was very kind 😅.
Before the shoot, we discussed the image ideas and received advice. The photographer played music to help us relax as we, who were not used to being photographed, posed for the pictures! The song selection was great! Fortunately, we were able to enjoy a beautiful view of the Milky Way while taking many photos 👍. It was moving 😂.
About a week later, the edited photos were sent to us via Line. My family laughed together, saying they didn't look like composites! I am truly grateful for this trip, the many people we met, and the wonderful weather! I've been to many islands overseas, but Miyako Island was the best!

From the airport arrival to hotel check-in, I had some time, so rather than spending it aimlessly, I decided to make the most of it. Since it was my first time in Miyako, I asked for a "recommended" course. The driver was very calm and shared great stories about Miyako Island, making the time fly by. The places I was taken to were all wonderful, and at one of the beaches, they even allowed my children to play in the sea, which made for a very satisfying first day for our family. I plan to request this service again the next time I visit Miyako Island.

Our family's first trip to Miyako Island ♬
We joined this tour because we wanted to see sea turtles.
Both my husband and I were worried about whether our son, who can't swim and has no snorkeling experience, would enjoy it, but thanks to Brother Hikaru (Matsuura Hikaru), he was able to have a great time in the water! He even started swimming on his own halfway through ♪ We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves too!

Even my husband, who usually isn't comfortable being photographed, was able to enjoy the shoot thanks to the friendly encouragement from the photographer. I hadn't really thought much about poses, but I was grateful for all the suggestions we received. We got so many wonderful photos under the starry sky, and I'm really glad we made the reservation. I also made great use of the recommended spots and restaurants that the photographer shared with us! I definitely want to recommend this to others.

この日は朝から凄い大雨で、こんな中出来るのだろうかと
不安いっぱいで現地に向かいました。
開始時間前にお電話頂き、
今は若干雷も鳴っているけど、開始時間には止むハズと。
内心メチャメチャ疑っていましたゴメンナサイww
やまちゃんの予言!?通り、開始時刻には雷も雨も止み若干の晴れ間が！
日々の経験値で、風の向き等からなんとなく天候の流れが分かるそうで
まさに神！！
泳ぎもままならない娘なので、呼吸が出来るか心配していましたが
パニックになることもなく最後まで楽しむことが出来ました。
道具の使い方の教え方も上手い！と、娘と夫は絶賛していました☆

I signed up for the stargazing night photo tour on short notice, and it became the best memory! I was able to see many beautiful stars, the Milky Way, and shooting stars that I can't see from where I usually live. Even now, after returning from the trip, I find myself reminiscing and feeling healed by those memories. The guide who assisted us was very kind and not only explained the flow of the shooting, points, and poses but also shared recommended spots in Miyako Island. When visiting Miyako Island, I can confidently say, "You absolutely should participate!" It was the best tour! The filming location was Kurima Island, and I was able to take the best photos under a sky full of stars like I've never seen before.
宮古島を訪れるときは、「絶対に参加したほうがいい！」と太鼓判を捺せるくらいの最高のツアーでした！
撮影場所は、来間島でしたが、見たことのない満天の星空での下で最高の写真を撮ってもらえました。
If you don't have transportation to the location and can't drive yourself, I think it's a good idea to request a ride through your hotel and also ask the driver to take you back for peace of mind.
現地までの交通手段がないので、自分で車を運転できない場合は、ホテルなどで配車を頼んだ上で運転手さんに帰りもお願いしておくと安心と思います。
