It was a very enjoyable and valuable experience!! It was much more of an adventure than I had imagined, but that made it even more fun! We walked in the sea to reach the entrance of the cave, and then climbed inside, which felt quite survival-like, but it became a wonderful memory with experiences that can only be had here. The latter part of the tour was packed with diving at a power spot, making it truly fulfilling. The guide was very friendly, and I was able to enjoy the tour! I had been a bit afraid of the sea until now, but this tour helped me overcome my resistance to entering the water, and I really had a great time. Thank you!

とても楽しく貴重な経験になりました！！想像していたよりかなりアドベンチャーでしたが、逆にとっても楽しかったです！海の中を歩いて鍾乳洞の入り口まで行き、そこから鍾乳洞を登ったりとかなりサバイバルでしたが、ここでしかできない体験ができてとてもいい思い出になりました。後半はパワースポットにダイブに本当に盛り沢山のツアーでした。ガイドさんもとても親しみやすく楽しくツアーに参加できました！！今まで海は少し苦手でしたが、今回のツアーで海に入ることへの抵抗がなくなり、本当に楽しかったです。ありがとうございました！

This tour is a must for anyone visiting Miyako Island!

First, you can swim with sea turtles, and the coral is beautiful with lovely fish welcoming you! You can experience everything the ocean around Miyako Island has to offer!

And the highlight is the Pumpkin Cave! I never expected to see pumpkins outside of vegetables!

I couldn't help but think, "Can I make tempura out of this?" It's a memorable thought from my trip.

It will surely spark the adventurous spirit that every boy has!

I searched for a tour that could be experienced even on a rainy day and participated in one. It was a tour where we walked about 20 minutes through shallow water to reach a limestone cave. The water was knee-deep, but walking through the waves was more tiring than I expected, making it a good workout. Since it was a cold day, it was nice to warm up, but on hot days, you might get exhausted, so I think it's best to hydrate well beforehand.

During the tour, the guide made sure we didn't step on living corals and provided explanations about rare creatures and the terrain, making the journey enjoyable while moving along at a good pace.

The inside of the limestone cave was breathtaking. I thought we would just see the Pumpkin Cave and be done, but we went deep inside and had a great time exploring the cave! The fantastical atmosphere felt like it was not in Japan, which was wonderful.

At the end, there was a big jump into the sea, and although I was scared, I wasn't pressured to jump from a height I wasn't comfortable with; I was able to jump from a height that suited me.

Among the many tours available, this is a highly recommended one that can only be experienced in Miyako Island. I hope everyone gets to try it!

雨の日でも体験できるツアーを探して参加しました。
片道20分ほど、浅瀬を鍾乳洞まで歩いて行くツアーです。
膝くらいの水深ですが、波の中を歩くのが思った以上に疲れ、いい運動になりました。
寒い日だったので体が温まりよかったですが、暑い日はバテるかもしれないので事前に水分補給をしっかりして行ったほうが良いと思います。
途中全身水に浸かるのでケータイなどは防水ケース対応が必須です。ただ、ケータイがなくてもたくさん写真を撮っていただけます！

道中はガイドの方が生きているサンゴを踏まないように注意してくれたり、珍しい生き物や地形について解説してくれたり、サクサク進みながらも楽しめるポイントがありました。

鍾乳洞の中は圧巻で、パンプキン鍾乳洞を見て終わりかな？と思っていたのですが、奥の方まで入ってしっかりと洞窟探検ができてとても楽しかったです！
日本じゃないような幻想的な空間がとても素敵でした。

最後に海に飛び込む大ジャンプがあるのですが、怖がってしまったところ無理強いもされず、自分に合わせた高さからジャンプすることができました。

数あるツアーの中でも宮古島でしか見ることができないとてもおすすめのツアーです。ぜひみなさんも体験してほしいです！

Yuki, our guide, was very kind and cute, and just talking with her was already a lot of fun! She properly guided us during the SUP and took beautiful photos for us! We also got to see a lot of sea turtles! The current was strong, but she made sure we were safe while proceeding, so I felt secure swimming. When I come back to Miyako Island, I will definitely come back to do SUP with the lovely Yuki!

The weather wasn't very good, but since it was a cave exploration, it didn't bother me much. (It might have actually been good that we had to walk about 30 minutes to the cave entrance.) The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, and I enjoyed listening to their explanations about the no-photography areas and the reasons behind them, as well as the stalactites. Inside the cave, the spring water is said to be colder than seawater, and although they provided wetsuits, it was only "wow, that's cold!" so it wasn't a problem not to wear one. (I wore a rash guard and leggings.) We also had a lot of tour photos taken, and my friends who joined me were happy too.

天気はあまり良くなかったけど、鍾乳洞探検なので特に気になりませんでした。（洞窟の入口まで30分ぐらい歩くので逆に良かったかも）スタッフさんも気さくな方でお話しやすく、撮影NGな場所やその理由、鍾乳石の説明なども楽しく聞いてました。洞窟内は湧水で海水より冷たいそうで、ウエットスーツを用意して頂いてましたが、「うわ〜冷たい！」程度で着なくても問題なかったです。（ラッシュガード＆トレンカ着用）ツアー写真もいっぱい撮ってもらい、一緒に参加した友達も喜んでました。

During my stay, the weather was cloudy and rainy, and while looking for sightseeing options for rainy days, I was recommended this tour by the travel agency I had booked with the day before. We went snorkeling in the morning and had a cave tour in the afternoon.

To sum it up, it was incredibly fun, and my friend said it was a once-in-a-lifetime memory! My friend, who is 63 years old, seemed to be the oldest on the tour! Just participating in this one activity made me feel like I had fully enjoyed my time in Miyako Island. I was truly impressed, and considering the cost-effectiveness, I think this tour is incredibly cheap, so I highly recommend joining!

I have traveled a lot, mainly interested in mountains and World Heritage sites, but I have also visited places where the sea is a World Heritage site. I've snorkeled in Australia, New Caledonia, Malaysia, Egypt, Yakushima, Iriomote, Okinawa, the Big Island of Hawaii, and Oahu, but I think the snorkeling in Miyako Island was the most beautiful. It was drizzling, which made it feel different from the usual places I go, but there were so many vividly beautiful tropical fish. I had never seen so many before. The chance of encountering turtles was about 50%, but our guide worked hard to find one, and we were lucky enough to see it. Even in the rain, the water clarity was high, so I was moved to see the turtle swimming clearly. Even without seeing a turtle, the beautiful sea filled with tropical fish was more than enough.

After lunch, we went on the cave tour. From the time of booking, I was encouraged that the cave tour would be hard, but to do my best! We walked for about 30-40 minutes along the beach and in the sea to reach it. It was a very mystical place, and I was captivated. I thought we would just take pictures, but we climbed up into the cave and went deeper inside. It looked really challenging, but our guide supported everyone and helped us climb. Lastly, since my hotel was closer to the center and I couldn't rent a car, I booked the tour with pick-up service. It was cheaper and very convenient compared to a taxi, which I appreciated. This tour is a grand adventure, and I highly recommend it! ★★★★★

午前中にシュノーケリング、午後は鍾乳洞ツアーでした。
結論から言うと、めちゃんこ楽しかったのと、友人は一生のいい思い出でだったとのことです。友人は63歳でツアーでは最年長だったように思えます！
これ一つ参加するだけで、宮古島で十分遊んだなーという気分になれました。
私自身感動したことと、費用対効果からするとめちゃんこ安いツアーだなと思いますので、ぜひとも参加をお勧めします！
海より、山や世界遺産に興味がありたくさん旅行してきました。とはいえ、海も世界遺産だったりする場所は行きました。オーストラリア、ニューカレドニア、マレーシア、エジプト、屋久島、西表、沖縄、ハワイ島、オアフ島で、シュノーケリングしたことがありますが、宮古島のシュノーケリングが最高に美しかったと思います。小雨だったこともあり、普段行く場所とは違うようでしたが、とても美しい鮮明な熱帯魚がたくさんいました。こんなに見たのは初めてでした。カメさんの遭遇率は50％の場所だったのですが、ガイドさんは一生懸命探して運よく見つけてくれました。雨でも透明度が高いので、クリアにカメさんの泳ぎが見れ感動しました。カメ見れなくても、熱帯魚だけで十分なくらい美しい海でした。
ランチしてから午後は鍾乳洞ツアー。予約時から、鍾乳洞ツアーハードですけど頑張ってください！と励まされてました。
浜辺や海の中を30-40分ほど歩きたどり着きました。それは、とてもとても神秘的な場所で、魅了されました。見て写真撮るだけかと思ったのですが、そこから鍾乳洞を登って、奥に進みます。これが、めっちゃ大変そうにみえました。でもガイドさんが、一生懸命サポートして皆を登らせてくれました。褒め上手ｗ。洞窟奥も神々しく今までになく神秘的でした。世界遺産のトルコのカッパドキアにも似てるようにも思いましたが、歳月が作った自然美は言葉で表すことができないくらい、美しかったです。登った分は、最後に海にダイブして帰りました。これまたとても面白かったです★
また、ガイドたかぎさんの写真もとても上手で感謝。素敵な思い出に感謝です。

最後に、ホテルが中心地よりでレンタカーが借りれなかったため、送迎付きで予約しました。タクシーより安くてとても便利で有難かったです。
このツアーは、大冒険でお勧めです★★★★★

We went snorkeling at Shinjo Beach. After parking the car, we walked straight to the beach and were able to snorkel right away. So, be careful with your belongings! The water was murky due to the typhoon, but we were able to see a sea turtle. It seems that there are seaweeds that serve as food for the turtles at Shinjo Beach, which attracts them. The water is shallow and safe, making it a great spot for families. This beach has a high probability of encountering sea turtles, so I highly recommend this tour!

私たちがシュノーケリングをしたのは新城海岸でした。
駐車場に車を停めるとそのまま歩いて海岸に行きそのままシュノーケルできました。
その為持ち物は注意です！
海に入ると台風のせいで濁っていましたが、ウミガメに会うことができました。
新城海岸には亀の餌になる海藻が生えており、ウミガメが集まるそうです。遠浅で危険もないのでファミリーにもおすすめですね
ここの海岸はかなりの高確率でウミガメに会えるのでこのツアーはかなりおすすめ！

The day before, there was a typhoon, so the cave tour was canceled. Instead, I participated in a snorkeling tour to see sea turtles. I was informed in advance that the waves would be strong and that sand might stir up, making it difficult to see the fish. However, in reality, the sea was incredibly beautiful, and I was able to see sea turtles right after we started snorkeling. Additionally, our guide provided interesting and easy-to-understand explanations about the sea and the fish, which allowed us to enjoy the tour from start to finish.

前の日まで台風だったため風が強くて鍾乳洞ツアーは中止。代わりにウミガメの見えるシュノーケルツアーに参加しました。
台風明けなので波の流れが強い、また砂が舞って魚が見えないかもしれないということを事前に聞かされて参加しました。

I had my first SUP experience and snorkeling trip in Okinawa with a friend! We went snorkeling in the morning and did SUP in the afternoon. The water was incredibly clear during snorkeling, and I was able to see not only fish but also sea turtles! It was so cute to see the sea turtles while they were eating (*ˊᵕˋ*)♡ Additionally, the instructor took beautiful underwater photos, which were really stunning✨ I also got to meet clownfish, and it was so much fun!

In the afternoon's SUP session, I was a bit anxious since it was my first time, but the instructor was very thorough in teaching us, so I was able to get on the board relatively quickly! They also provided advice in difficult spots and connected the boards to prevent us from drifting apart, so I felt well taken care of ( ⸝⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝⸝ ). I was really moved to see the fish in the sea even from the board. I truly had a wonderful experience on my first trip to Miyako Island! I highly recommend it✨✨

Walking to the Pumpkin Cave requires quite a bit of stamina, especially since you're walking on unfamiliar sandy beaches and through the waves. The guide mentioned that it's suitable for children from the age of four, but I think it's more of an adult activity that may not be ideal for small kids. I was a bit disappointed that there were no showers after coming out of the sea. They provided some water in a 2-liter bottle with salt, but there wasn't enough for everyone, so we had to share. I wasn't too keen on getting into the rental car, but we managed to have lunch while moving to the afternoon snorkeling, so there wasn't time to change. I had no choice but to sit on a towel over the vinyl.

In the afternoon snorkeling, we even got to see sea turtles and fully enjoyed the beautiful waters of Miyako Island. The guide's swimming was lovely, like that of a mermaid.

The pumpkin cave in the morning was hard! It was quite tough for my body, which has become quite sluggish from teleworking. The distance isn't too far, but it really worked out muscles that I don't usually use, like on the sandy beach and in the water, and I had a bit of muscle soreness the next day. Exploring the cave was thrilling.

When moving to the afternoon snorkeling, it was a bit of a struggle to get into the rental car since there was no shower available.

It was a very fulfilling tour. The Pumpkin Cave was more adventurous than I expected, and it was thrilling and exciting. A cave like this, with pumpkins, is rare, and it was packed with activities like climbing, jumping, swimming through the cave, and applying the natural mineral mud from the cave on my face.

For lunch, our guide recommended a delicious restaurant, and I was very satisfied with the Miyako Island soba and mango dessert.

After lunch, we went snorkeling to look for sea turtles. I was worried that we might not encounter any, but we quickly came across the first one. We discovered several more sea turtles afterward and were able to swim alongside them. I also encountered coral and various fish, and I had a wonderful time.

Our guide, Mai, was very energetic and cheerful, making it a fun experience to be with her. She took lots of photos for us. I highly recommend this tour.

こんなパンプキンの鍾乳洞は珍しいし、よじ登ったり、飛び降りたり、洞窟の中を泳いだり、洞窟の自然のミネラルの泥を顔に塗ったりとアクティビティ満載です。
　昼食はガイドさんが美味しいお店を教えてくれて、宮古島ソバとマンゴーのスイーツを食べて大満足。　
　昼食後は、ウミガメを探しにシュノーケリング。運悪く出逢わなかったらどうしようと思いましたが、すぐに1匹目と遭遇。その後も数匹のウミガメを発見し、一緒に泳ぐことができました。
珊瑚といろんな魚とも出逢えて、幸せな時間を過ごすことができました。
　ガイドのマイさんは、とても元気で明るくて一緒にいると楽しくなる素敵なガイドさんでした。

The Pumpkin Cave was hard and had more of an adventurous feel than I expected, but the cave was incredibly mystical and extraordinary, which moved me. It was my first time snorkeling, and I was anxious, but the guide was kind and taught me carefully, allowing me to enjoy it. I was able to see sea turtles, and I got to see beautiful coral reefs and small fish up close, which made me very satisfied. I would like to use this service again when I come back to Miyako Island. My wife and I participated in this tour. In the morning, we visited the Pumpkin Cave, and in the afternoon, we had a snorkeling experience.

At the Pumpkin Cave, I was amazed by the mystical scenery that felt like a different world! There were some narrow passages, but our tour guide was very attentive, which made it easy for us to explore the cave with peace of mind!

During snorkeling, we were able to see a sea turtle as soon as we entered the water! It was so cute, and both of us were captivated by it! After that, we also saw a variety of colorful fish, which was a lot of fun!

Although we had some concerns before the tour, the tour guide was kind and friendly, allowing us to have a very fulfilling time!

As a note, during the tour, we moved by car to have lunch, so please remember to prepare towels or plastic sheets to avoid getting the car wet.

どちらもツアーの前には不安もありましたが、ツアーガイドの方が優しくフレンドリーに接してくださったので、とても充実した時間を過ごすことができました！
注意点として、ツアー合間に昼食を各自で食べに車で移動しますが、車内を濡らさないようにバスタオルやビニールを敷く必要があるので、準備し忘れないようにしてください。

During my first sea activity in Miyako Island, I was nervous, but a cheerful lady took charge of the tour, which quickly put me at ease. Since we had to walk for over 20 minutes in the water, it required some stamina, but I felt refreshed when we briefly swam through the cold sea to enter the cave. Inside, there was a giant cave in a beautiful yellow color that I had never seen before, and both the water and air were crystal clear, which was truly moving. We also had the chance to do a mud pack along the way, making it enjoyable for women as well, so I thought it was a tour that even those who aren't very active could easily join. There were even children under elementary school age participating, so I believe it's a great experience for families. On our way back, I appreciated the recommendation for a delicious café.

I was worried about snorkeling in the rare extreme cold and rain in Miyako Island, but they changed the course for us, and we managed to go. They also lent us wetsuits, so I could swim freely even in the freezing conditions.

I spent 2 nights and 3 days in Miyako Island. I was looking forward to it, but the weather forecast didn’t predict clear skies for all three days, so I had to change my plans repeatedly. Since the last day was forecasted to be sunny, I quickly made a reservation for the Pumpkin Cave tour. I read in the news that due to tourists damaging the stalactites, access to the Pumpkin Cave might be restricted in the future, so I thought it was a must-visit place and made the reservation. It’s a hidden gem that can only be accessed during low tide. We walked along the sandy beach and rocky areas to reach the cave. I was amazed when I saw the pumpkin from the entrance! I participated in a one-day tour for SUP and sea turtle snorkeling.

First, we experienced SUP at Imugya Marine Garden starting at 8:30. It was my first time trying SUP, but the instructions on how to stand and paddle were very thorough, so I was able to stand up quickly! Although the weather was bad with strong winds and some rain, the water was clear enough to see fish.

The snorkeling in the afternoon was scheduled for 14:30. I had half given up hope of seeing sea turtles since the guide mentioned we might not see any, but we encountered one just before the end of the session!

I think the weather conditions were poor that day, but I still had a great time and was very satisfied!

It was a rare experience to see a sea turtle up close like that. I struggled a bit since I can't swim while looking for the turtle.

At Pumpkin Hall, we had to walk quite a bit underwater and climb high rocks, which required more stamina than I expected. However, the breathtaking views and the excitement of seeing a power spot made it worthwhile.

However, I was very grateful that wetsuits were provided starting that day. Since it was a north wind, we were able to progress to the cave with almost no wind impact. It is said to be a very sacred place, so I bowed before entering. The pumpkin that suddenly appeared was breathtaking. Using the ladder that the guide lowered for us, I climbed on top of the pumpkin and moved deeper inside, where there was refreshing cold water that felt wonderful. I was thrilled to apply the natural mud pack all over myself. Jumping off from the top of the pumpkin was also thrilling. The guide was very kind, explained everything clearly, and always made sure we were safe, so even small children could participate with peace of mind. We took a lot of photos, and since the data would be sent to us later, I didn't need to bring my smartphone. If I can come back to Miyako Island, I definitely want to join PIPI's tour again.

北風だったので、鍾乳洞まではほとんど風の影響なく進めました。とても神聖な場所とのことで、入る前に一礼しました。入るといきなり現れるパンプキンは圧巻でした。ガイドさんが垂らしてくれる梯子を使ってパンプキンの上に登り奥へと進むと冷たい真水がありとても気持ち良かったです。天然の泥パックが嬉しくていっぱい塗りたくりました。パンプキンの上から飛び込むのもスリルがありました。ガイドさんがとても親切な方で、説明も分かりやすく、常に安全に気を使ってくれていたので、小さなお子さんも安心して参加していました。写真も沢山撮って後からデータを送ってもらえるので、スマホは持ち込まなくて済みました。宮古島にまた来れたら、PIPIさんのツアーに絶対また参加したいと思います。

It was quite a walk to the entrance of the Pumpkin Cave, but once inside, the mystical atmosphere made all my fatigue disappear, and I felt rejuvenated. However, it was more of a survival experience than I expected, and I bumped into some corals and stalactites, which was a bit painful, so I recommend wearing leggings or something similar for those who plan to go.

During snorkeling, the sea was incredibly beautiful, and even though it was a shallow area where I could stand, I encountered sea turtles and saw plenty of fish. I never got bored even while diving for a long time. Although there were quite a few other guests at the beach, we were taken to a spot where we could frequently see sea turtles, and our guide explained about the fish, allowing us to enjoy the unique experience of the tour!

This was my first time at Pumpkin Hole.

I thought I would just get a little wet while looking at Pumpkin Hole, but it was completely different.

I walked over the sea to reach Pumpkin Hole, and inside, the water was so deep that I couldn't touch the bottom. The stalactite cave was also very mystical.

Along the way, there were activities like climbing up a ladder in the stalactite cave, getting splashed by a waterfall, and finally, a dive from about 2 meters high, which was a lot of fun.

軽く身体が濡れてパンプキンホールを見るぐらいかなーと思っていたのですが、全然違いました。

海の上を歩いてパンプキンホールに向かい、パンプキンホールの中は足が着かない程水が深く、鍾乳洞もとても神秘的でした。

途中には梯子で鍾乳洞を上ったり、滝にうたれたり、最後は高さ2mぐらいのダイブをしたりアクティビティ要素満載で楽しかったです。

鍾乳洞自体が神聖な場所とされている為、もしかしたら近い内観光が
出来なくなってしまうとのことでしたので、早めに見に行くことがおすすめです。

During the sea turtle snorkeling, I was able to see two turtles. We walked to the Pumpkin Cave, but on the day of the tour, the waves were high due to the typhoon. It may vary for different people, but being tossed by the waves made it active and helped relieve my lack of exercise, enhancing the feeling of having gone on an adventure. The inside of the cave was very mystical and became the highlight of this trip. The guide was attentive to the tour guests both in front and behind, and he casually shared various stories. I heard that this place is important to the locals, and because it is such a wonderful location, I realized that environmental conservation is indeed essential. ウミガメシュノーケルでは2匹のカメを無事拝めました。
パンプキン鍾乳洞まで海を歩いていきましたが、ツアー当日は台風の影響で波が高くなっていました。人によるとは思いますが、波に揉まれたおかげでアクティブ且つ、運動不足解消になり、行った感が倍増しました。
鍾乳洞の中はとても神秘的で、この旅1番の思い出となりました。
ガイドのお兄さんも、前、後ろとツアー客を気にかけつつ、気さくにいろいろな話をしてくれました。
地元の人には大切な場所だと話を聞き、素晴らしい場所だからこそ、やはり環境保全は大切だと思いました。
宮古自体、海や土地が素晴らしく、我々観光客からしたらまた来たい土地、となりますが、それによる様々な汚染にも気を配りたいな、と改めて考えるきっかけとなる場所に連れて行っていただけました。
