Miyako Island
I participated in a one-day tour on April 25th. Due to bad weather, the tour of the Pumpkin Cave was canceled, but I was able to enjoy the beautiful sea of Miyako Island through snorkeling and SUP experiences.
For snorkeling, they provided wetsuits, and for SUP, the rain stopped partway through, so I felt a bit cold at first, but I quickly got used to it, and my siblings seemed to really enjoy themselves. According to our tour guide, "Peach Princess of Miyako Island," it’s said that "sometimes the visibility is better when it rains," so perhaps the rain was actually a good thing. 荒天の為パンプキン鍾乳洞のツアーが中止になりましたがシュノーケリングとSUP体験で宮古島の美しい海を堪能できました。
シュノーケリングはウェットスーツの貸与があり、SUPは雨が途中で止んだため最初だけ少し寒さを感じましたが直ぐに慣れて姉弟も本当に楽しそうでした。ツアーガイドの「宮古島のピーチ姫」の説明では、「雨のほうが透明度が高い場合もある」とのことなのでむしろ雨でよかったのかも知れません。ウミガメもちゃんと見れました。早くも姉弟は次回参加の計画を練っているようです。ガイドの銭さん、ピーチ姫、素敵な体験と沢山の写真と思い出をありがとうございました。次回も宜しくお願いします。

・過ごしやすい雰囲気だったこと。ガイドさんがメンバーのテンションに合わせて進行してくれていたのだと思います。変にプレッシャーを感じることなく過ごすことができ、助かりました。参加者の皆さんとは積極的に話す感じではありませんでしたが、途中助けてもらったり、カメラを撮り合ったりして、なごやかに過ごすことができました。
・ツアーに参加しなければいけないであろう場所に行けたこと。個人では鍾乳洞の中まで技術的にたどり着けないでしょうし、そもそも神聖な場所なので一般立ち入りが禁止されている可能性があります。洞窟の中ではよじ登ったりしますが、ガイドさんが適切にサポートしてくれます。洞窟の構造物や成り立ちについてもわかりやすく解説してくれました。
・たくさん写真を撮ってもらえること。海中でも画質良く撮れています。体験終了後、同日中にLINEで送っていただけました。
＜気になった点＞
・鍾乳洞内とその近辺の海水に浸かっている間、寒さで震えが止まらなかったこと(4月中旬)。ただ、私以外の参加者は皆問題なさそうに見えました。
＜まとめ＞
おすすめできるツアーです。特に、シュノーケリング初心者の方、宮古島でしか出来ない体験に興味がある方。旅行の序盤にこのツアーでシュノーケリングを経験できたため、その後個人での初めてのシュノーケリングもスムーズに行うことができました。

注意点やカヤックの扱い方など、簡潔にレクチャーしてもらい、透明カヤックに乗り込みました。前半は練習、後半は自由にというスケジュール。細やかな声かけや励ましで、安心して気持ちよく乗ることができ、透明カヤックの下を泳ぐ魚たちにも癒されました。

3月、4月に行かれる際は、替えの服やバスタオルは必須かと思われます。一応、運営側から温水を頂けましたが、暖かいのは一瞬ですぐに風による寒さが体を蝕みます。一刻も早い保温と着替えをオススメします笑
