After my first experience with SUP, I went snorkeling for the second time in my life! The instructor, Tsubasa, was great at telling stories, which made the experience enjoyable. They also took photos from various angles with a GoPro.

This time, my family joined as well, and the kids quickly got the hang of it, so I recommend it for families with children. Since we were required to wear the provided life jackets, I could enjoy myself without worrying about drowning!

I was really excited to see fish up close, and above all, I was thrilled to see a sea turtle for the first time!! The waters around Miyako Island are so clear; it was the most beautiful ocean I've ever seen.

Thanks to our knowledgeable and attentive guide, we were able to see many sea turtles and tropical fish in the coral reefs at Shinjo Coast, and we took 125 photos! Although it was a bit crowded around the sea turtles during the high season, our guide managed the traffic, which allowed us to swim stress-free, and that was a huge help. My 8-year-old daughter was very happy and swam excitedly until the end. Additionally, after the tour, we could use the spring water at the entrance of the free parking lot (meeting and drop-off point) as much as we wanted, which was convenient for rinsing off sand and salt. Shinjo Beach was shallow and very beautiful. We encountered many sea turtles as well. The parking lot at Shinjo Beach fills up quickly, including paid spots, so it's best to arrive early.

This was my first time visiting Miyako Island, but due to a typhoon, I had to change my travel dates, and since I was aiming to go snorkeling, the rough seas caused a cancellation spree. I made a request on a whim, and it seems I was able to go this time.

初めて宮古島来たのですが、台風で行く日にちも変更になり、また、シュノーケルを目的としていたので台風で海が荒れてキャンセルのオンパレードでした。
ダメもとでリクエストしたら今回、行けた感じです。

普段の海は知らないですが、凄く綺麗でガイドの松浦さんの対応とスキルでズバらしい1日になりました。カクレクマノミと海亀、デカすぎ‼️

台風後の影響は3日以上続くと聞いたので、タイミングのいい月にリベンジを図りたいです。

In our case, we were a group of eight, and we acted under the guidance of an instructor. I was anxious since it was my first time snorkeling, but I enjoyed it. The instructor explained about the fish each time, and we even got to see a sea turtle. We took a lot of photos as well.

Afternoon: Canoeing
Since we were with the stand-up paddleboarding group, even when we were free to move around in the canoe, another instructor accompanied us, taking photos and chatting, which made for a fun time. The main instructor was also very pleasant and attentive to our needs.

The weather was great, and I had an excellent experience throughout both the morning and afternoon.

We were able to take quite a few photos. I was very satisfied to swim with the sea turtles. My younger child tried snorkeling for the first time but ended up not being able to do it. I'm really glad I participated in this tour!! After a lecture on how to use the snorkeling goggles and taking photos on the beach, we swam for about two hours. In the first half, we swam at a spot where we could see sea turtles, and in the second half, we were taken to a spot with lots of fish. I was able to see sea turtles about 5 or 6 times, and there was even a moment when I saw four at once, which made me very happy! The moment when the sea turtles surfaced for air was especially cute.

I was worried about being able to swim after not snorkeling for 10 years, but the staff member Matsuura was very kind and taught me well, making it a really enjoyable experience! They also quickly sent the photos and recommended many shops.

Since I was floating for almost two hours, my back got really sunburned! I recommend reapplying sunscreen thoroughly just before getting in the water. Haha!

シュノーケルのゴーグルの使い方のレクチャーや浜辺での写真を撮っていただいた後、2時間ほど泳ぎました。
前半は海亀が見れるスポットで泳ぎ、後半は魚がたくさん見れるスポットへ連れていってくださりました。
海亀も5〜6回ほど見れ、同時に4匹見れる瞬間もあり大満足です！
海亀が呼吸のために海面から顔を出す瞬間が特に可愛かったです。
10年ぶりのシュノーケルで泳げるか不安でしたが、スタッフの松浦さんが丁寧に教えてくださり、とても楽しい経験となりました！
写真もすぐに送ってくださったり、おすすめのお店も沢山教えてくださりました。

2時間弱浮きっぱなしになるため、身体の背中側がめちゃくちゃに焼けました！
日焼け止めの塗り直しは直前に念入りにすることをおすすめします。笑

It was absolutely amazing.
While we were on our way, it was raining, and I thought it might be ruined, but when we arrived, I was surprised.
The clouds had completely cleared, and a sky full of stars was spread out before us. It was a starry sky that you really can't see in the city!
Also, the photographer Yusuke was wonderful. He gave detailed instructions for poses and took the best photos.
He also taught us a lot about Miyako Island, making it an overall very satisfying tour. I would love to do it again next time! Thank you so much!

It would be difficult to find such great spots in the vast ocean on our own, and I was also anxious about swimming far from the shore, so it was definitely thanks to Matsuura-san. Before entering the water, he provided precise snorkeling instructions, which allowed us to truly enjoy snorkeling comfortably! I was looking forward to diving in Miyako Island, but other shops canceled their dives due to boat repairs, so I hurried to find a shop. I had never tried stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) before, so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see any turtles while snorkeling, but the staff were friendly, and I had a great time even on my own.

We used this service to commemorate our 10th wedding anniversary trip. The staff kindly helped us pose for photos, and they patiently waited for the clouds over the Milky Way to clear. Their attentive and heartfelt service made the experience wonderful. Of course, the finished photos were lovely and became cherished memories.

I read somewhere that wearing light-colored clothing is recommended, so we wore white, but if you want the people in the photo to be silhouetted against the starry sky, darker clothing might be better.
