My first trip to Okinawa started at the Churaumi Aquarium, and each time I went further south. Last time, I visited around Shuri Castle, and this time I traveled even further south. The sightseeing bus had a set schedule that included both places I was interested in and those I wasn't. This time, I went to Okinawa World, which I found uninteresting, so I asked to add the Ryukyu Glass Village at the last minute. Surprisingly, it turned out to be really enjoyable. I think being able to have such experiences is one of the great advantages of hiring a private taxi.

It was good that they came to pick us up at the airport on time.
We went from the airport to the Churaumi Aquarium, and then to Pineapple Park.
We were a group of nine and had requested to take photos at beautiful scenic spots when making the reservation, but in the end, we weren't guided to any.
It was a silent two-hour ride from the airport to the aquarium.
The driver only answered in single words to what we asked.
If it had been a taxi for transportation, there would have been no problem, but since I thought it was a sightseeing taxi, I was a bit disappointed, thinking we would get guidance while enjoying the scenery.
When I booked a similar taxi in Hawaii, there was a lot of guidance, and they recommended places and took many photos for us. Perhaps it was disappointing because I compared it to that experience.
Next time, I would like to request someone who can provide a bit more guidance.

9人での参加で、キレイな景色のところでみんなで写真を撮りたいと予約の時にお願いしてましたが、結局どこも案内してもらえませんでした。
空港から水族館まで、無言の2時間。
聞いたことにだけ、単語で答える感じ。
送迎のタクシーであれば、何の問題もないですが、観光タクシーと思っていたので、景色を見ながら案内とかしてもらえるのかなと思っていたのでちょっと残念でした。
ハワイで同じようなタクシーを予約した時は、たくさん案内があって、おすすめの場所を教えてもらったり、写真もいっぱい撮ってもらいました。それと比べてしまったからダメだったんでしょうか。
次回はもう少し案内してくれる方にお願いしたいです。

Although it was a short five-hour trip, we enjoyed a smooth round trip drive to the Churaumi Aquarium. I gifted my parents a trip to Okinawa to celebrate their retirement. Since I was worried about them driving a rental car at over 70 years old, I decided to request a sightseeing taxi. In hindsight, it was definitely the right choice!!!
For two days, the same driver took care of them, and they returned home talking happily about how kind and attentive he was. I used this service for a trip with my sister's family in October. Since I was unfamiliar with the area during another trip and had to rush around without knowing the bus routes, this time I chartered a taxi and was able to fully enjoy my time. The driver was warm and shared information about the sights, food, buildings, and Okinawan history on the way, which kept the kids entertained and well-behaved until we reached the Churaumi Aquarium. Upon arrival, the driver informed us about the aquarium's features, the beach, and the dolphin show schedule. It was such a relaxing experience. The driver also advised us about crowded areas in advance, allowing us to postpone some places we planned to visit to the next day. My foreign husband visited Okinawa for the first time, and it was my first visit in 10 years! There were many places I wanted to go, but due to the heat and travel fatigue, we narrowed it down to two locations. We went to Churaumi, so most of the 7-hour course was spent on the round trip and at the aquarium, but we were able to take commemorative photos at a spot overlooking Kouri Island and the bridge, which became a wonderful memory!
On the other hand, I used a cashback campaign, but the response was not smooth, which was frustrating. (The only communication was a message stating that phone inquiries were not possible.) Since the driver was from a different company, I couldn't find out how the cashback would be processed when I asked in the car, and since I couldn't make inquiries by phone, I had no choice but to wait... For that reason, I would give it a 2-star deduction. However, the tour itself was very convenient, so I recommend it!

We had some anxiety on our first trip together, but since we were participating in an event in Okinawa, we decided to hire a private car instead of joining a package tour. The car was spacious and comfortable, which was great. Our driver was a Chinese gentleman who spoke Japanese fluently and was very kind. The driver spoke only broken Japanese, and I often couldn't understand what he was saying, which made me question whether he understood me. He said he understood when I explained the change in sightseeing spots first thing in the morning, but I was left wondering.
I was taken to a place I said to skip. Even though I mentioned the Heart Rock on Kouri Island, I was brought to the parking lot in front of the beach. There wasn't much time lost at either location, though. When I said I would shop for 20 to 30 minutes at the roadside station and returned, the driver was not there. He was shopping as well. I didn't have to wait too long, but the driver had a vibe that made it hard to get too upset.
However, his driving was rough, he was speeding, and to top it off, he was using his phone while waiting at a traffic light, which I would like him to stop for safety reasons. Well, the driver of the jumbo taxi I arranged through another service was also talking on the phone while driving.

I went to Okinawa for a company trip.
We stayed at a hotel in Naha and used this taxi service to go to Yomitan for making Yachimun pottery.
I wanted to do some sightseeing after making Yachimun!
With this rough plan, I booked the taxi.
They picked us up at a clear location near the hotel and suggested an efficient order for visiting nearby attractions and stylish cafes, allowing us to make the most of our time.
Cafe → Yachimun making → Yachimun Village → Zakimi Castle Ruins → Cape Zanpa → Sweet potato tart factory
It was a very fulfilling experience!
