I thought driving would be difficult due to the distance, so I joined a bus tour! It was a great deal since they took us to various sightseeing spots. The meeting place at the Prefectural Office Square was easy to find and convenient.

At the Churaumi Aquarium, I was able to see the whale shark up close, and I was very satisfied with the dolphin show as well! The little gifts of chin-suko and pineapple sherbet were a nice touch.

Unfortunately, the weather was not great for the views at Manzamo and Kouri Island, but I would like to participate in other tours with Veltra when I visit Okinawa again!

集合場所の県庁前県民広場は、わかりやすく良かったです。

The best way to check out the attractions if you do not have your own car

The tour was very convenient for us to take since they offer pickup and drop services from well known hotels. If you do not have your own rental car and only have about a day or two to explore the city, I would say this tour is your best bet. There are other operators that pick you up from the airport, but if you are living up north in one of the secluded beach resorts then this option works very well since you don't have to go back and forth into the city.

The guide spoke Japanese but also had English translation. We could not follow the translation much but the views make up for it all.

Time wise, we found 150 minutes good enough for Churaumi Aquarium but I would have liked to stay at the Kouri beach for a little longer. Then again it is a personal choice since I am a fan of white sand beaches. Other than the Charaumi Aquarium, I felt it was more about going from point A to B to C rather than savouring A, B and C. Having said that, this tour did introduce me to some of the amazing places in Okinawa. I spent half of next day at Kouri beach to sink in it's beauty completely.

It was great for me, as someone who can't drive, to be able to efficiently visit tourist spots. I arrived at Sefa Utaki first thing in the morning, so there were few people, and I could take my time to look around. I was also able to cross the Nirai Kanai Bridge, and on the way back to the parking lot, I could take pictures of the bridge and the sea. The weather was nice that day, so the view was excellent.

Especially in the Valley of Gankara, the local guide was wonderful, providing clear explanations about the names of trees and insects, history, and various other details, making it very enjoyable. We walked through the valley for a solid 80 minutes and were able to see excavation sites. We even encountered owls in the forest.

I was really happy that the bus driver raised the sunshade for us at photo spots while driving.

Our resort hotel was on the northern side, quite inaccessible and we did not rent a car as well.

This tour enabled us to see (and taste) the best of Okinawa within just a day. As an added bonus, it was a great experience that started and ended punctually. Our guide was great and helped get the tour bus to drop us right at our hotel.

I came to Naha for a business trip and participated in a half-day tour in the morning since I had work in the evening. It’s not very efficient to visit places like Shurijo Castle and Gyokusendo Cave by public bus, but this tour takes you around these spots efficiently. The guide felt more like a tour conductor than a traditional guide. I would have appreciated a bit more information about Okinawa, but considering the low price, I was able to overlook that as just part of the transportation cost. Many participants were traveling alone, and despite being in Okinawa, which attracts many international tourists, the bus was filled only with Japanese people, making it quite quiet.

I think it's a great deal to be able to stop by various places and spend three hours at Churaumi Aquarium for this price! Since we had three hours, we were able to take our time exploring the aquarium, even with kids. The hotel shuttle was really appreciated for traveling with children. I understand it can't be helped, but I always wonder if there's a way to avoid the 30-minute walk to and from Churaumi. On the way back, we arrived at the hotel earlier than planned, which was a relief.

It was a long-awaited private trip! As someone who tends to be a bit of a paper person, the bus tour was incredibly helpful! It was attractive for being able to visit key spots, but I was also healed by the guide's singing and dancing! It's unfortunate what happened to Shuri Castle this time, but I will definitely visit again during the restoration and make use of the tour!

I was moved when I saw the large whale shark at the Churaumi Aquarium. The guide was fun and taught us the names of flowers, which I enjoyed. The steakhouse I opted for had an entertaining performance, and the staff were kind. When I requested, "I can't chew hard food because I'm undergoing dental treatment, so please cut the meat into smaller pieces," they cut it into about 2 cm cubes, making it easy to chew. I would like to join a tour with Veltra again if I have the opportunity.

I participated since I had free time on the last morning. It's convenient and nice that they drop you off at the airport.

Visiting Sefa Utaki in the early morning when there are no people allows you to feel the atmosphere more and makes it easier to take good photos. I also passed by the Nirai Kanai Bridge, and it was great to capture beautiful photos reflecting the morning light. When traveling alone with a rental car, you can't stop just to take pictures.

It was the morning of the day Shuri Castle burned down, and while I was shocked, I was impressed by how composed the guide was. Before we landed at the airport, she sang Okinawan folk songs, and as I listened, I found myself in tears... I wanted to stay longer in beautiful Okinawa, where the climate and people are warm; I didn't want to go back. Even after arriving at the airport, I couldn't stop the tears from flowing for a while.

It was a wonderful conclusion to a great trip. Thank you very much.

Then, around 8:00, I received another call saying they were now waiting in front of the Prefectural Office and would come to pick me up. After a while, I got another call asking me to come to the Prefectural Office instead of them picking me up.

I was following the instructions and waiting at Makishi Station, so I wondered why I had to go to the Prefectural Office now. However, considering there were other participants waiting, I headed to the Prefectural Office. I felt very sorry for causing a lot of trouble to the other participants despite waiting as instructed. I was disappointed to find out that I couldn't enter Saijo-otake due to the impact of the typhoon after arriving. It might be unavoidable, but they did adjust the tour time for Saijo-otake flexibly. At the Gangala Valley, the guide provided thorough explanations, which was very good. During the transfer, the bus guide also shared various information about Okinawa, which I enjoyed.

The Eisa performance at Okinawa World was very powerful and provided a fun time. The limestone cave was quite large and impressive.

また斎場御嶽は雨上がりだったため、とても滑りやすく、帰りの坂はかなりゆっくり歩いてきました。くつも貸してくれますが、しっかり滑りにくい靴をはいて行くのが大切だと思います。

First, there was a mix-up with the meeting place, and we were made to wait longer than scheduled. I naturally thought we would tour Pineapple Park in the pineapple-shaped car shown in the pictures, but due to congestion, despite arriving earlier than planned, we ended up just walking around, which was disappointing.

We spent three hours at the aquarium, watched the dolphin show, and didn't have time to visit other botanical gardens. We saw whale sharks at the aquarium, and since it was Saturday, the souvenir shop was crowded. The bus stop at the meeting place was quite far, so in the end, we didn't have time to buy anything.

Considering the transportation costs, the admission fee is cheap, so I understand that. However, I wish they had reduced the time for lunch at the facility we stopped at (the small sandwiches were not good) and allowed us to eat our bento on the bus instead, so we could have more time at the aquarium.

まず集合場所の取違いがあり、予定時間より待たされました。
パイナップルパークは当然、看板写真にあるパイナップルの車？で巡ると思っていたら、混雑との事で、予定より早めに着いたにもかかわらず、まさかの歩いて回るだけでガッカリ。
水族園で三時間、イルカショーをみて、他の植物園などまわる時間はなく、水族園でジンベイザメなどをみて、土曜日だったこともあり最後お土産やさんも並んでて、集合場所のバス乗り場まで距離があるため、結局買う時間なかったです。
交通費を思えば入場料付きで安いので仕方ないとはいえ、途中で寄った施設でのランチ(小さなサンドイッチ不味いです)の時間を削って、バス内でお弁当を食べるなどにして、水族園の時間を増やしてほしいと思いました。

The place where I had lunch was old, and it had a souvenir shop attached to the cafeteria, but there was a hall with a lot of butterflies, which was uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend that place. Everything else was good. It was easy to travel by bus, I could enjoy the scenery, and the prices were reasonable.
