You can definitely get your money's worth just from the free sightseeing spots. If you have sightseeing plans, I highly recommend it.

The unlimited train rides were a bit of a hassle because I had to show a QR code, but it's definitely a good deal.

As for the unlimited bus rides, I was disappointed that I couldn't change the camera settings on the app, so I couldn't read the QR code for the onboard tour ticket and had to pay in cash. I later thought I should have tried reading the QR code directly instead of going through the app.

The dive offers a breathtaking view from a high place, which was more humbling than I expected. I highly recommend experiencing it at least once. Kintetsu Rail Pass is a good choice if you travel bigger distances within the Kyoto/Nara/Osaka region. For example from Kyoto to Asuka.

I only have one complain. I thought I would get nice looking ticket as advertised (2-day pass in my case) but in reality when I picked up the ticket at Kyoto station, I only received a regular blue/turquoise ticket like all the other JR tickets.

Low budget travel pass with good service provided

It covers a lot of sightseeing point. Station staffs are helpful with English communication is not a problem. Easy to access, not a complicated network. Base on this ticket, you can pay more for a faster train, so it is flexible on you budget vs. time.
