The heavy rain unexpectedly caused a cancellation. The next day, we changed our destination to the mossy forest. The forest after the rain was magical and beautiful. I will definitely make a comeback to see Jomon Sugi.

To participate in this tour, you need to practice walking for at least a few hours; otherwise, it can be tough. Since I don't usually do trekking or mountain climbing, I started practicing by walking for about 2 to 3 hours on weekends, two months prior to the tour, and I was able to see Jomon Sugi without any issues. However, I'm not sure if my practice was sufficient.

Our guide, Ando, monitored our fatigue levels and adjusted the pace accordingly. It was challenging, but I was able to achieve it in a fun way. Thank you very much!

このツアーに参加するには、最低でも数時間歩く位の練習をしていないと、キツいです。　自分はトレッキングや登山などしないため、2カ月前位から週末に2〜3時間程度の歩く練習をして挑み、無事に縄文杉を見ることが出来ましたが、練習が十分だったかと言われると微妙です。
ガイドの安藤さんは、自分たち疲労度を見ながら、ペース配分を考えてガイドしていただき、キツかったですが、楽しく達成するこどが出来ました。ありがとうございました！

The tour included transportation to the hotel, and it was a small group (5 people) with a kind guide, which was great. Along the way to Jomon Sugi, the guide pointed out various highlights and took photos for us. We also had breaks as needed, and during lunch, we were treated to instant miso soup. On the way back, one of the tour members realized they had lost their smartphone, but thanks to the guide's prompt response, it was safely returned. Thank you for the enjoyable tour!

ホテルへの送迎付き、小人数（5名）のツアーでガイドさんも親切で良かったです。縄文杉までの途中も見どころを案内してもらい、写真も取っていただきました。休憩も適宜取りながら、昼食時にはインスタント味噌汁もご馳走になりました。帰路、ツアーの方がスマホ紛失に気づかれましたが、ガイドさんの適切な対応で無事戻ってきました。楽しいツアーありがとうございました。

I had a fantastic time on the Taiko Rock course for five hours with our guide, Mr. Kimura. It flew by as he taught us various things along the way. The pacing, photo spots, and tips on how to take pictures, along with knowledge about Yakushima, were all things we wouldn't have learned if we had climbed on our own. We experienced everything from subtropical to northeastern climates, and even moments of sunshine turning into fog. The river water was delicious, making the Yakushima hike absolutely amazing. I felt like a child again, enjoying every moment, and I want to return to Yakushima next time to experience Yakusugi Land and marine sports! I would be thrilled to meet the same guide again then.

木全さんと言うガイドさんについて頂き、色々教えて貰いながらの太鼓岩コース5時間はあっという間で、本当に楽しかったです。
ペース配分、写真スポットや撮り方、屋久島の知識、自分達だけで登っていたら知り得ない事ばかりでした。
亜熱帯から東北地方の気候まで、晴れから霧がかかった瞬間も体験でき、川の水も美味しく屋久島登山は最高でした。
童心に返って楽しむ事ができたので、次回ヤクスギランドやマリンスポーツを体験しに屋久島に行きたいと思います！その時、また同じガイドさんに巡り会えたら嬉しいです。

When it comes to Yakushima, the Jomon Sugi and the moss-covered forests are famous, but this course walking through the western evergreen broadleaf forest is the best! Mr. Ichikawa's explanations were very interesting, and he tried multiple times to fulfill my wish of taking photos with the deer and monkeys, which made me really happy! I was able to take some great photos to remember the occasion (*^-^*). Seeing the deer and monkeys in their natural habitat right in front of me was so moving that I was brought to tears, surprising myself. Thank you for a wonderful time that I will always remember.

I felt an extraordinary love for Yakushima and for us tourists! During the tour, they sang folk songs and shared a lot of information about the trees and birds.

ガイド中に民謡を歌っていただけたり、木についてや鳥についてたくさんお話ししてくださいました。

First time trekking to Jomon Sugi. As a couple in our 50s, we prepared by walking around our neighborhood and hiking on local trails. We successfully reached Jomon Sugi and made it back down. This time, we booked a tour here and our guide taught us a lot about Yakushima, Yakusugi, and the World Heritage site. They also took photos for us and shared tips about climbing, making the tour very enjoyable. We were in a team of about seven people, divided by age, which made for a great trekking experience.

Things I was glad to bring:
Rainwear (Gore-Tex or Workman), trekking shoes, trekking poles, a waist pack, a 500ml water bottle, and an empty bottle.

Things I didn't need:
A flashlight and extra snacks (if you eat the provided lunch, you don't need as many snacks).

On the way back, perhaps feeling relaxed, someone from our team fell on the trolley path. Due to the risk of a fracture, the guide provided perfect first aid with ointment, taping, and a splint to support the arm. They also arranged for transportation to the hospital and accompanied the person there. It was reassuring that the other tour guides communicated via radio.

はじめましての縄文杉トレッキング。50代夫婦のため、近所歩いたりハイキングコース歩いたり、事前に体を調整。無事に、縄文杉まで行き、下山することができました。今回は、ツアーをこちらで申込みガイドさんに、屋久島の事、屋久杉や世界遺産についてなど、いろいろと教えてもらいました。また、写真も撮ってくれたり、登山に対してのポイントなど教えてくれツアーで良かったと思いました。1人のガイドさんに今回は、〜７人のチーム。年齢でわけていただいてるのたようで、数チームにわかれてのトレッキングでした。
持ってって良かったもの
レインウェア（ゴアテックスかワークマン）、トレッキングシューズ、トレッキングポール、腰付きのリュック、500mlのペットボトルと空きのペットボトル。
不要だったもの
ライト、多めのおやつ（朝昼の弁当食べるなら少なくても良かった）
帰りに気が緩むのか、同じチームの人が、トロッコ道で転倒。骨折の恐れありのため、ガイドさん湿布、テーピング、宛て木し腕を吊るすまで完璧な応急処置。その後も、病院への案内、車の手配、付き添われて行きました。他のツアーガイドさんとも無線で連携され安心できました
今回、ガイドさん込みのツアーに参加できとてもよかったです

We participated as a family of four: a couple in their late 40s, a high school daughter, and a middle school son. Since we only had three days off during spring break, we searched extensively for a tour that would allow us to visit Takoiwa, a place our children, who love "Princess Mononoke," wanted to go, while also satisfying my husband. I was very happy when I found Tsugimura's tour. At the same time, I had concerns about whether we could complete it without maintaining our stamina.

The night before, I felt the excitement of a school trip, but to conserve energy, we went to bed at 8 PM. On the day of the tour, meeting Tsugimura brought a sense of nervous anticipation, but once the tour started, those feelings quickly faded. His words, filled with love for Yakushima, were accompanied by a great sense of humor. The kids seemed to relax right away, allowing us to trek with peace of mind. It was tough, but perhaps the heavens were on our side, as it didn't rain, and we were able to conquer all the spots we wanted to visit. Tsugimura's guidance made the 12-hour tour feel like it flew by, providing a reassuring presence throughout.

Looking up at the long-awaited Jomon Sugi was a moment of quiet, overwhelming presence. The magnificent view from Takoiwa and the pink mountain cherry blossoms were breathtaking. Surrounded by the greenery of Shiratani Unsuikyo and the mossy forest, we felt the vastness of nature and a sense of accomplishment that couldn't be captured in photos. I truly believe that nothing surpasses real experiences!

If we had gone without a guide, we likely would have stopped often for photos and breaks, struggling to manage our pace, and might have missed some spots. Tsugimura, with his love for Yakushima, knew the best places and angles for photos, allowing us to look back and relive the journey's afterglow!

After the tour, my husband said, "I'm glad we had Tsugimura as our guide," and I couldn't help but do a little fist pump in my heart! The kids were also very satisfied to experience the world of "Princess Mononoke."

40代後半夫婦、高1娘、中2息子の4人で参加しました。春休み中で休みが３日しか取れないので、中一日でできるだけ回れる、もののけ姫好きの子達が行きたい太鼓岩まで行ける、夫も満足できると言う条件が揃ったツアーを随分探しました。津曲さんのツアーを見つけた時は、とても嬉しかったです。それと同時に、体力を維持していないと制覇できないのではという不安もありました。
前日の夜は、遠足前のワクワク感もありましたが、体力をもたせるために夜8時に就寝しました。
当日津曲さんにお会いして、いよいよ始まるんだという緊張感もありましたが、ツアーがスタートしてからはそんな気持ちもすぐになくなりました。屋久島への想いが詰まった言葉の数々に溢れ出すユーモアセンス。子達もすぐに気持ちがほぐれたようで、安心してトレッキングできました。しんどかったですが、天が味方してくれたのか、雨が降ることもなく、行きたいと思っていたスポットは全て制覇できました。12時間とは思えないほどあっという間だった津曲さんのガイドはは安心感そのままでした。
念願の縄文杉を見上げた時の静かなる圧倒的な存在感。太鼓岩からの壮大な景色と桃色の山桜。白谷雲水峡と苔むす森の緑に囲まれた私達。写真では伝えきれない、自分の足で歩いたからこそ感じられる目の前に広がる大自然と達成感。実体験に勝るものはない！と思いました。
もしガイドをつけず、自分たちだけで行っていたら、写真や休憩で立ち止まることが多くなり、上手くペース配分ができず、辿り着けないスポットもあったのではないかと思います。写真は、屋久島愛のある津曲さんだからこそわかるとっておきの場所やベストのアングルで撮って頂けるので、後から見返せて旅の余韻もばっかりです！
ツアー終了後に、夫からの「津曲さんにガイドしてもらえてよかったな。」という言葉に心の中でガッツポーズ！
子達ももののけ姫の世界観を体験できて大満足でした。

It was a tour to Taiko Rock, but due to the weather, the participants' physical condition, and scheduling, we walked to the Mossy Forest instead. We were given enough time to explore the surroundings, and I was able to enjoy it thoroughly.

Along the way, the guide shared various stories about the island's weather, tourist spots, Yakusugi (ancient cedar trees), and safe walking methods. I felt it was a good decision to join the tour instead of climbing on my own.

太鼓岩までのツアーでしたが、天候や参加者の体力やスケジュールの判断で、苔むす森まで歩きました。周辺を散策する時間を取っていただき、充分に楽しむことができました。
道中はガイドさんが、島の天候や観光スポット．屋久杉について．安全な歩き方など、様々な話をしてくれました。個人で登らずにツアーに参加して良かったと思いました。

On the day, we were blessed with good weather and enjoyed the sparkling forests of Yakushima! The guide's stories were also very interesting. Thank you for everything from early in the morning!

First of all, the round trip trekking of 10 and a half hours requires quite a bit of leg strength. By the time we returned, my legs were shaking, but our guide (Mr. Kiyota) was very kind, and I was able to complete the trek with his guidance. Given the long distance, I think it's somewhat unavoidable to consider pacing, but we couldn't really take our time to enjoy the scenery along the way. Especially on the initial stretch along the trolley tracks, it felt like we were just walking steadily without pause.

That said, I was fortunate enough to encounter both the Yakuzaru (Japanese macaque) and the Yakushika (Japanese deer) during the trek, which made me very happy. Given the season, I also enjoyed listening to the calls of the bush warblers. I hurriedly took photos since we didn't have much time, which became a nice memory.

The guide also prepared miso soup for us during lunch and shared herbal medicine for muscle pain, which was greatly appreciated. Learning about the history of Yakushima and the knowledge of Jomon Sugi at various points was very educational. I am truly grateful for that.

It was also convenient to be able to pre-order a bento, saving me the hassle of preparing my own. Blessed with good weather, it was a day to appreciate the unique beauty of Yakushima, the strength of the plants including Jomon Sugi, and the blessings of nature. Thank you very much!

先ず、やはり往復10時間半のトレッキングはかなりの脚力を要します。
戻る頃には足がガクガクでしたが、ガイドの方（キヨタ様）がとても良い方で、なんとか導かれながらやり遂げることが出来ました。
距離が長い分、ペース配分を考えるとある程度致し方ないかとは思いますが、道中はゆっくり景色を楽しみながらのんびり…といった感じでは進めません。特に最初のトロッコ線路上はひたすら黙々と歩き続ける感じです。
とは言え、幸運にも道中ヤクザルやヤクシカにも出会うことが出来て、嬉しかったです。季節柄、鴬の啼き声も楽しく聴きました。時間があまりないので慌てて写真を撮ったことも良い想い出です。
ガイドさんには昼食時のお味噌汁をご準備いただいたり、筋肉痛に効く漢方を分けて下さったりと、大変お世話になりました。要所要所で伺う屋久島の歴史や縄文杉の知識なども、とても勉強になりました。改めて、心より感謝です。
お弁当を予めオーダー出来るのも、自身で用意する手間が省けて有難かったです。
好天に恵まれ、改めて屋久島の独特の美しさ、縄文杉を始めとする植物の力強さ、自然の恵みに感謝した一日でした。ありがとうございました！

Due to the heavy rain, I took a short walk within the range I could. I was disappointed that I couldn't go to the Forest of the Spirits that I wanted to visit, but the guide explained various things while sharing funny stories, which made it enjoyable in its own way. Since we finished early, the guide also introduced us to the rental car, thank you very much.

大雨のため、行ける範囲で小散歩。行きたかったもののけの森に行けず残念でしたが、ガイドさんは、笑い話も交えていろいろと説明してくれて、それなりに楽しめました。早く終わったのでガイドさんがレンタカーまで紹介、ありがとうございました。

The schedule was tight time-wise, but I was glad to finally meet the Jomon Sugi. The Jomon Sugi shrouded in mist was divine, and I felt the grandeur of nature. On the way back after seeing the Jomon Sugi, I felt a bit of fatigue, but the guide's unique stories were refreshing and eased my tiredness. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you very much.

I had planned to spend a whole day exploring Yakusugi Land, but due to bad weather, we were able to circle the island in the morning. We got to see waterfalls and wildlife, including monkeys and deer. In the afternoon, we shortened our visit to Yakusugi Land, but I was still able to enjoy it thoroughly. Thank you for accommodating my last-minute request.

ヤクスギランドを1日かけて巡る予定でしたが、悪天候のため、午前中に島を一周してもらいました。滝や野生動物（猿や鹿）なども見ることができました。午後からヤクスギランドを短縮して巡りましたが、十分堪能することができました。急なお願いにもかかわらず、対応していただきありがとうございました。

We participated as a group of four, and we were blessed with good weather, allowing all of us to meet the Jomon Sugi safely. Our guide, Ko-chan (Kohei-kun), provided excellent guidance, care, and support, and I believe it was thanks to him that we all achieved this together. I can only express my gratitude for the precious and wonderful experience we had!

With the enjoyable guidance of Mr. Hirata, my wife and I, both 65 years old, were able to reach the Wilson Stump. Our initial goal was Jomon Sugi, but due to my slow pace and my husband’s unsuccessful weight loss, we couldn't reach that target. However, our son, who loves hiking, took a different route and managed to meet us at the Wilson Stump. The weather was great, and Mr. Hirata adjusted to our pace while we enjoyed nature, making it a wonderful memory for us. Thank you very much!

65歳夫婦2人で、平田さんの楽しいガイドに引っ張って頂き、ウィルソン株までたどり着くことが出来ました。当初の目的は縄文杉でしたが、歩みの遅い私と減量に失敗した主人だったので、目標には届かなかったのですが、登山好きの息子が別ルートで下から登って来て、上手い具合にウィルソン株で出会うことが出来ました。お天気も良く、自然を満喫しながら私達のペースに合わせて下さったのでとっても良い思い出になりました、ありがとうございました。

Since I hadn't been exercising much lately, my legs started to shake towards the end. Honestly, going down without trekking poles was tough, and I now wish I had rented some. I was so focused on keeping up that I didn't have much time to enjoy the scenery, so I realized that preparation is essential. Still, reaching Jomon Sugi was an amazing experience.

日頃あまり運動もしていなかったので、最後の方は足がガクガクになりました。ストック無しでの下山は正直キツかったので、やはりレンタルすれば良かったと今になって思います。
ついていくのに必死で、あまり景色を楽しむ余裕がありませんでしたので、やはり準備は必要だなと思いました。それでも、縄文杉まで行けた事は最高の体験でした。

The weather was favorable, and I was happy to reach Jomon Sugi. On the way there, I had the leisure to enjoy the explanations of Yakushima from our guide, Fujiyama, and encounters with monkeys. However, on the way back, I was so exhausted that I felt like I couldn't walk anymore, which was tough. Fujiyama helped carry my luggage and attached a lead to prevent me from falling backward on the downhill path, and somehow I made it to the tramway. On the tramway, he skillfully helped me set a pace, and I was able to descend in time for the last bus. I can only express my gratitude to Fujiyama. I'm also thankful to my son, who watched over me as I struggled. I tried to recover a bit by eating glucose tablets (ramune) and worked on self-suggestion to push beyond my limits, managing to keep walking. It's hard to say I made it back on my own, but I had a valuable experience seeing Jomon Sugi, which I had wanted to see for a long time.

天気に恵まれ、縄文杉まで到達できて、嬉しかったです。
往きは、ガイドのフジヤマさんの屋久島の説明や猿との出会いを楽しむ余裕がありました。
帰りは、疲労で歩けなくなりそうになり、大変でした。
フジヤマさんに荷物を持ってもらったり、下りの山道で後ろに転倒しないようリードを付けてもらったりして、何とかトロッコ道まで。
トロッコ道では巧みにペース作りをしていただき、最終バスに間に合うよう下山できて、フジヤマさんには感謝しかありません。
ボロボロの私を見守ってくれた息子にも感謝です。
少しでも回復しようとブドウ糖（ラムネ）を食べたり、限界を超えられると自己暗示に努め、何とか歩き続けることができました。
自力で帰ったとは言い難いですが、以前から見たかった縄文杉を見る貴重な体験ができました。

A trekking tour to Jomon Sugi for a family of five. Thanks to our guide, who considered the pace of my wife, who is not very active, and our elementary school-aged children, we were able to complete the 22 km tour. Along the way, the guide provided various explanations and took photos for our family, making it a unique experience that catered to our wishes.

On the way back, my family fell and got injured, but thanks to our guide carrying one of us on their back, we managed to make it home. It was truly a tour that we could only have completed because of our guide, H.

It might be a bit more expensive than a mixed tour with other groups, but I highly recommend it, especially for families and those who are not very active.

家族5人での縄文杉トレッキングツアー。
ガイドさんのおかげで運動不足の妻、小学生の子供などのペース配分を考慮いただき、22kmのツアーを完遂することができました。
道中で色々な解説をしていただいたり、家族のために写真を撮ってくれたりと、オリジナルツアーだからこそのワガママ体験でした。
帰りに家族が転んで怪我をしてしまったのですが、ガイドさんがおんぶして助けていただいたおかげで、なんとか帰路につくことができました。
本当に、Hガイドさんだったからこそ、なんとか帰ることができた、というツアーでした。

他のグループと同じ混合ツアーよりも割高かもしれませんが、家族連れ、運動不足の方などに特にオススメします。

The guide was kind and attentive, and despite my foot pain, I was able to keep up. It was a place I wanted to visit at least once in my lifetime, so I am very satisfied.

ガイドさんも優しく丁寧で、足の痛みを抱える私も何とか付いていくことができました。一生に一度は行きたい場所でしたので、非常に満足しています。

The scenery was of course amazing, but the tour guide was the best. They had a wealth of topics to discuss and shared them in such an interesting way that I forgot my fatigue and was able to enjoy the trekking.

絶景はもちろん最高でしたが、ツアーガイドさんが最高でした。
話題豊富でしかも面白く話してくれて、疲れを忘れてトレッキングできました。

Guide Mitsuhashi provided an accurate and insightful tour. He made every effort to avoid crowded times, and at Jomon Sugi and the Wilson stump, it felt almost like we had the place to ourselves. It was truly moving!

ガイドの三橋さんが的確なガイドをしてくださいました。混み合いそうなタイミングを極力避けてくださり、縄文杉やウィルソン株ではほぼ貸切なんじゃないかというくらいの空き具合、感動でした！

There were some hits and misses with the guide, and honestly, my guide wasn't very good.

Disappointments:
While the guide would stop at key points to explain things, they would immediately start walking again after finishing the explanation, leaving no time for taking photos. We arrived at the entrance before 5 PM, so we had plenty of time, and I wished there had been more time for photography.

There was no announcement about how many minutes the break would be, and the guide prioritized their own schedule, waiting until they finished their meal. While walking, the guide completely ignored the participants behind them, not noticing if anyone was lagging or even falling. They walked ahead without considering the participants' conditions, making it difficult to take water breaks.

Additionally, when using trekking poles on the stairs, it was hard to walk behind the guide because they would stick the poles out behind them.

However, there were certainly parts where having a guide was helpful, especially for pacing and knowing where the rest points were. For those who are not used to hiking, it's safer to have a guide.

ガイドによる当たり外れがあり自分のガイドは正直あまりよくはなかったです。
不満点
要所で止まって説明してくれるものの説明終わったらすぐ歩き出す為に写真撮影する時間がなかった。帰り入り口には5時前に着いており十分時間に余裕があったのでもう少し撮影する時間を取って欲しかった。
休憩時間が何分というアナウンスがなく、ガイドの食事終了までなどガイド都合優先だった。
歩いている際に後ろを全く気にしてない為に参加者が遅れていても転んでいても全く気がつかない。参加者の様子を考慮しないで歩いていくので給水しにくかった。
階段でトレッキングポールを後ろに突き出すのでガイドの真後ろだと歩きにくい。

ただしガイドがいないとペース配分や休憩ポイント等わからない部分もあるので助かった部分も当然あります。登山慣れしてない方はガイドを付けた方が無難です。

I had some anxiety due to lack of exercise, but I challenged myself because I wanted to see it at least once. The guide, **san, said, "If you only look through the lens, it's a waste! I want you to engrave it in your memory," and that love for Yakushima really came through in those words. I completely agreed with that. The guide was incredibly thorough, even teaching us about aftercare for muscle soreness.

I was fortunate to have great companions on the climb, and we had a lot of fun and were able to descend safely. The sense of accomplishment was immense✨️.

I've gained another unforgettable experience.

The guide was worried because the ages in this group were varied, but we all started walking with the goal of completing the course together. ガイドさんがこのグループは年齢がばらばらなので、と心配されてましたが、とにかく全員で完歩をめあてに歩きはじめました。私よりご高齢の方が元気に歩いている姿に、励まされ完歩できました。ガイドさん、グループの皆さんのおかげです。お疲れ様でした。✨

I had so much fun that time flew by! The guide, Mr. Ichikawa, was incredibly easy to understand and entertaining, and I learned a lot while leisurely walking through the forest. My perspective on plants and nature completely changed before and after the tour.

Since I mentioned that I love monkeys, I was also happy that we took our time to watch them. I want to visit Yakushima again, and when I do, I definitely want to walk through the western subtropical evergreen forest with YNAC Classic's tour.

楽しくてあっという間に時間が過ぎていました！
ガイドの市川さんのお話がとにかくわかりやすく面白くて、ゆったり森の中を歩きながらたくさんのことを学べました。ツアーの前後では、植物や自然を見る解像度が全く違うものになりました。
サルが好きだと伝えていたので、サルを眺める時間をゆっくりとっていただいたのも嬉しかったです。
また屋久島に行きたいし、その際にはぜひまたYNACクラシックさんのツアーで西部照葉樹林を歩きたいと思っています。

We were probably grouped by age, and there were eight people from the same generation. We spent 10 hours together, got to know each other, and I saw them a few times the next day and had conversations with them. The guide paid close attention to everyone, which allowed us to trek with peace of mind. I'm glad I was able to accomplish one of the things I want to do before I die.

たぶん年代別にグループ分けされていて、同世代8人でした。10時間も一緒に過ごして、顔見知りになり、次の日も何回かお見かけして話をしたりしました。
ガイドの方はみんなの様子をよくみてくださって、安心してトレッキングをすることができました。
死ぬまでにやりたいことの１つを実行できて良かったです。

I participated alone and joined a group of five, including our guide.

Our guide, Kiyota, made jokes and engaged each of us in conversation, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout the tour.

Additionally, at various points, he took photos for each group, paying attention to posing and angles, and he did a great job. I really appreciate it! 🙏

Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, but it turned out to be a fun trekking experience. ✨

At first, I was a bit anxious about the 22-kilometer journey, but once I participated, I found that the combination of the flat trolley path and trekking made it challenging yet achievable. We set off early in the morning, and although we needed flashlights, it turned out to be a great experience. The sunrise we saw along the trolley path was incredibly beautiful.

Our guide shared humorous anecdotes while explaining the history and knowledge of Yakushima and the Yakusugi trees, making the trekking enjoyable. I also appreciated the explanations of various cedars and plants beyond the famous sites.

With appropriate breaks and adjustments to our walking order based on the guide's experience, our team, which had older members, was able to reach the goal without difficulty. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing Wilson Cedar, the Great Cedar, and Jomon Cedar, and this time we also got to see the trolleys working on the trolley path, as well as wild monkeys and deer, which left me very satisfied.

初めは22キロの道のりに不安もありましたが、実際に参加してみると平坦なトロッコ道とトレッキングの組み合わせで、楽ではないですが完歩することが出来ました。
出発は朝早く、懐中電灯が必要でしたが、それも良い経験で、トロッコ道の途中で見る朝日も非常に綺麗でした。
ガイドの方もユーモアを交えながら屋久島、屋久杉の歴史や知識を解説してくれて、楽しくトレッキング出来ました。
名所の他にも色々な杉や植物の説明も楽しかったです。
適度な休憩とチーム内の歩く順番の調整などガイドの方の経験値で年齢層の高いチームで
したが、無理なくゴール出来ました。
ウィルソン杉や大王杉、そして縄文杉と十分に堪能で出来、今回はトロッコ道で作業するトロッコや野生の猿や鹿も見ることが出来て、非常に満足しています。
