We participated as a family of three. Thank you, Mr. Shiramizu, for guiding us! Your voice was surprisingly clear, and even my husband, who was walking at the back, could hear you well. My college-aged daughter found your various knowledge and the story of how you became a guide very interesting. On the way back, we did some trivia quizzes. I think it was to keep us from getting sleepy and to distract us. All three of us made it down safely. Thank you!

家族三人で参加しました。ガイドしていただいた白水さん、ありがとうございました！不思議とよくとおるお声で、一番後ろを歩いていた夫にもしっかりお話が届いていました。白水さんのさまざまな知識やガイドのお仕事に就かれたいきさつは、大学生の娘に大変興味深かったようです。帰り道は理論クイズをしながら戻りました。眠くならないように、気が紛れるようにとのご配慮からだったと思います。無事に三人とも下山しました。ありがとうございました！

I was debating whether to join a tour or go on my own, but choosing the tour was definitely the right decision. Having someone with extensive knowledge and mountain experience made the enjoyment multiply by 100. Kanai-san was passionate!

Considering my usual stamina, I was a bit unsure, but this tour was the best. The morning course was relaxed, and the guide was experienced, taking our situation into account and making it enjoyable for us. Since there were only three of us, it felt like we had a personal guide. The pick-up service was convenient, and the rental handover right after the flight to the destination and returning to the hotel on the way back was very helpful.

As for COVID-19 measures, it was reassuring that all members wore masks properly.

Next, I want to challenge myself with Jomon Sugi.

　自分の普段の体力を考えて、いろいろ迷ったけどこのツアーが１番よかったです。午前中のゆっくりコースで、ガイドさんがベテランでこちらのようすを考えて、楽しませてくれました。３人だったので、まるで専属ガイドさんのようでした。送迎ありで、レンタル受け渡しが行きの飛行機直後と帰りはホテル返しだったのが助かりました。
　コロナ対策としても、メンバーがきちんとマスクをしたのも安心でした。
　次は縄文杉に挑戦したいです。

It was my first snorkeling experience, and I received a lecture. Unfortunately, I couldn't meet a sea turtle, but I was able to see beautiful waters and fish, and it was a lot of fun! After snorkeling, I was also able to use a warm shower, which was very helpful! Thank you!

The tour guide was very experienced and trustworthy. They provided excellent guidance and taught us about Yakushima in a fun way. They explained the island in detail, making it a trip that makes me want to come back again.

- Although the weather was unfortunately cloudy, our guide worked hard and we were able to meet the sea turtles we had been looking forward to! They took many photos and videos for us, creating wonderful memories. (The attached photo was taken and sent by our guide.)
- The service included transportation, and they provided everything except for swimsuits, towels, and beach sandals, which was very convenient.
- The shower booths after the experience were clean, and they had shampoo and other amenities, making it comfortable. After changing clothes, they even offered us warm coffee, which was a lovely touch of hospitality. Thank you for the wonderful summer memories!

It was a two-day trek, and we were fortunate with the weather, making the trekking experience very enjoyable. The final ascent to Taiko Rock was quite tough, but the sense of achievement when I reached the top was unparalleled. Mr. Muramatsu's guidance was easy to follow and very enjoyable!

2日続けてのトレッキングでしたが、天候に恵まれていて気持ちよくトレッキングができました。太鼓岩までの最後の登り斜面は結構厳しかったですが、登りきったときの達成感はなにものにもかえられません。村松さんのガイドも話やすくってとても楽しかったです♪

I had booked an overnight camping tour, but due to bad weather, it was suddenly changed to a day trip on the morning of the tour. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to camping, but I had such a fun time that I forgot all about it!! The guide taught us a lot about the history of Yakushima and the plants growing by the roadside, which was very educational! I was a bit worried about my stamina, but we took proper breaks, and I was able to walk without overexerting myself. Next time, I want to take revenge on Shiratani Unsuikyo, which I couldn't visit this time!!

一泊のキャンプツアーを予約していましたが、天候が悪く当日朝急遽日帰りツアーに変更となりました。キャンプも楽しみにしていたので残念でしたが、それを忘れるくらい楽しい時間が過ごせました！！ガイドの方も屋久島の歴史や、道端に生えてる草木のことをいろいろ教えてくれてとても勉強になりました！体力に不安もありましたが、休憩もしっかり取ってくださり、無理なく歩くことができました。次回は行けなかった白谷雲水峡にリベンジしたいと思います！！

You can really see sea turtles!! They were absolutely beautiful!!

Also, to be honest, I came here despite the heavy rain warnings and alerts issued nationwide, but frankly, there's no need to worry.

I think the sea won't be rough unless something really unusual happens.

On the day, there were intense downpours and strong winds for a while, but underwater, it was paradise.

In fact, I even thought that diving in the sea is definitely better than being in the mountains during bad weather!

Additionally, the professionals will determine whether it's possible to go based on the weather forecast and their experience, and they explained that even if there is a cancellation, you will get your money back, so I think it's a very reassuring activity to participate in!

あと、正直、大雨の警報やら注意報が全国的に出てる状況できましたが、はっきりいって心配いりません。

よっぽどのことが無い限り海は荒れないんじゃないかなと思います。

当日は一時的にすごい豪雨と突風が吹き荒れましたが、水の中はパラダイスでした。

むしろ、悪天候は山より海潜った方が断然いいとすら思いました！

あとは、プロが翌日の天候なら可能か否か、と予報と経験をもって判断してくれますし、万が一キャンセルになってもお金は戻ってくるとの説明もしてくださって、とても安心して参加できるアクティビティだとおもいます！

Thank you for the wonderful snorkeling experience. My family and I participated and were thrilled to finally see a sea turtle. Before snorkeling, there was a detailed explanation, and during the experience, they took photos with an underwater camera and later sent us the pictures with the sea turtles for free. Since I don't usually exercise, I didn't want to inconvenience others on a group tour and wanted to enjoy at our own pace, so we opted for a private tour.

As a result, we were extremely satisfied!! The guide who was in charge was someone overflowing with love for Yakushima, with rich knowledge and experience. They taught us a lot about history, theology, and plants along the way.

I don't think we would have been able to have such in-depth conversations on a group tour. Thanks to the guide, we were able to enjoy trekking at our own pace.

This experience made me fall in love with Yakushima. Next, I want to challenge myself at Shiratani Unsuikyo. When that time comes, I would definitely like to request again.

普段運動をしないので、グループツアーで他の人に迷惑をかけたくない、自分たちのペースで楽しみたいと思い貸切ツアーにしました。

結果、大満足です！！担当してくだったガイドさんは、知識経験ともに豊富な屋久島愛に溢れる方で、歴史・神学・植物など道中たくさんのことを教えてもらいました。

グループツアーだったら、ここまでたくさんお話はできなかったと思います。ガイドさんのおかげで、自分たちのペースで楽しくトレッキングすることができました。

今回で屋久島のことが好きになりました。次は白谷雲水峡にチャレンジしたいです。その時は是非、またお願いします。

I was unsure whether to go alone, but I'm glad I signed up for the tour! I thought the pace might be too fast, but in the end, it was perfect! I don't think we could have done this on our own...

It seems we happened to choose a week with bad weather, and it rained heavily, but on the contrary, I think we saw some views that we wouldn't normally see.

Our guide, Taiyo, was a really nice person! It was amazing how he seemed to know when it was going to rain; he opened his umbrella just before the rain started. Incredible.

At the photo spots, he made sure to take beautiful pictures for us! I had trekking poles prepared, but I didn't end up using them. I didn't have an umbrella, but I was told to bring one during a phone call the day before, so I bought one at the supermarket. I'm glad I did.

Yakushima is a place I've always wanted to visit at least once in my life. I can say that I want to go back again, not just once.

たまたま天気が良くない週だったらしく、雨も凄かったですが、逆に普段見られないような景色だったと思います。
ガイドさん(たいようさん)とてもいい人でした！
雨が降るのがわかっているのか、降る直前に傘をさしてさした瞬間雨が降ってくる。すごすぎ。
写真スポットではしっかり綺麗に写真撮ってくれました！
トレッキングポールは用意してましたが使いませんでした。
傘は用意してなかったですが、前日の電話で用意してくださいと言われたのでスーパーで購入。あってよかったです。
人生に1度は行きたいと思っていた屋久島。

I was a bit worried about whether my friend, who can't swim, would enjoy snorkeling. However, the guide kindly explained that the wetsuit is made of rubber and won't sink, and that by relaxing their body, they could float well. As a result, my friend enjoyed the experience without any worries until the end! (Also, the guide carried a float the whole time, so even if you can't swim, you can hold onto it and rely on the guide, which is great for those who aren't good at swimming!) My friend usually makes quite critical comments, but at the end of the snorkeling, they said, "This was the most fun!" so I was really glad I participated! We also encountered a green sea turtle! Watching it eat seaweed was incredibly cute. There were also various other fish! The guide was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot, so we truly enjoyed ourselves until the very end. I'm really glad I got to bond with the newlywed couple we were with too!

Additionally, I wear glasses and have never used contact lenses, so I was worried about whether I would be able to see while snorkeling. However, the guide provided a prescription snorkel! Thanks to that, I could see the sea turtle and the fish clearly, and it was really beautiful, so I'm glad I participated. Thank you so much for all your thoughtful considerations!

私の友人は泳げないので、シュノーケリングを楽しめるか、ちょっと不安でした。。しかし、ガイドさんが懇切丁寧に、スウェットスーツはゴム生地で沈まないことや、身体の力を抜くことで上手に浮くことができることなどを教えて下さったので、友人は何も心配することなく、最後まで楽しんでいました！（また、ガイドさんは浮輪をずっと持って移動していますので、泳げなくてもそれに捕まりガイドさんに身を任せれば問題はありません！これならカナヅチの人でも大丈夫ですね！）私の友人は結構、辛口発言が多いのですが、シュノーケリングの最後に『1番楽しかった』って言ってくれたので私もすごく参加してよかったです！！また、アオウミガメさんとも遭遇することができました！！藻を食べてる姿は、めちゃくちゃ可愛いかったです♡他にも様々なお魚さんがいました！ガイドさんは知識豊富でいろいろ教えて下さるので、本当に最後まで全力で楽しめました〜。一緒に同行することになった新婚さん夫婦とも仲良くなれてホントによかったです笑笑

あと、私はメガネでコンタクトは付けたことがなく、シュノーケルつけても見えるのか不安でしたが、度が入ったシュノーケルをガイドさんがご用意してくださりました！なので、ウミガメさんもお魚さんもよく見えて、ほんとうに綺麗で参加してよかったです〜。いろいろとご配慮してくださり本当にありがとうございました！

We participated as a couple. My wife had very little experience diving, and she was quite anxious, but the instructions were very thorough, and during the actual snorkeling out in the ocean, we received excellent support, which allowed us to enjoy the underwater scenery without any worries. Even complete beginners will be just fine!

I had no experience with trekking or kayaking, but with the support of an amazing guide, I created wonderful memories. It was a tour that made me want to come back again! 🎵

トレッキングにカヤックどちらも未経験でしたが最高のガイドさんにサポートいただいて良い思い出ができました。またきたいと思わせてくれるツアーでした♫

Since it was my first time in Yakushima, I decided to go with the classic choice and joined the Shiratani Unsuikyo tour. When I arrived in Yakushima via Toppy, the staff was waiting for me, and after fitting my shoe size, I received my backpack and rain gear rental. On the day of the tour, it seemed that they could pick you up from your accommodation if you were around the Miyanoura area, but since I was staying a bit farther away, we arranged to meet at the Furusato Market. I wore light long pants and a short-sleeve T-shirt, and brought 500ml each of Aquarius and water. We headed to the entrance of Shiratani Unsuikyo in the guide's car from the meeting point, took care of restroom needs, and then set off. The temperature was quite warm, not much different from Miyanoura. The trekking course was lively, and we greeted people passing by. In narrow spots, those going downhill would yield to those going uphill. At beautiful viewpoints along the way, the guide took photos and shared various information about Yakushima's forests and the island's formation. I never got bored during the hike. Yakushima is mainly composed of granite, which has a rough texture, making the rocks less slippery. When we reached the moss-covered forest, we set down our backpacks and enjoyed the scenery and took deep breaths to savor Yakushima's nature. It was a bit chilly in the moss-covered forest with just a short-sleeve shirt, but since I was breathing heavily from hiking, it felt just right. The return path felt shorter than the ascent, but there were still some slippery spots, so caution was necessary. Although we took the same route both ways, the guide shared completely different stories on the way there and back, so I never felt bored. I was also quite lucky to see two Yakushima deer on the way back. The guide drove us back to the morning meeting point, where we returned the rental items, marking the end of the tour. I don’t usually hike, but the distance was just right, and I appreciated the guide's engaging talk, which was backed by rich knowledge. I was very satisfied.

Clothing:
- Short-sleeve T-shirt (no inner layer)
- Light long pants (easy to move in)
- Thick socks (thin ones may cause blisters)
- Rental shoes

- 500ml bottles x2 (Aquarius, Irohasu)
- Smartphone (for photos)
- Rental rain gear
- Rental backpack cover
- Wallet
- Plastic bag (for items you don’t want to get wet)

Other notes:
- This is all based on a sunny day in early August. It can get cold enough in winter for snow to accumulate, so be careful with your clothing.
- If you plan to return rental items at the end of the tour, make sure to keep your shoes in the rental car, or you’ll end up going back barefoot. Bringing a bag is also handy for carrying back personal items you had in your backpack.

初めての屋久島だったので、とりあえず王道を行こうと思い白谷雲水峡ツアーに参加しました。トッピーで屋久島に到着した時にスタッフの方が待っててくださり、シューズのサイズを合わせてからリュックや雨具のレンタルを受け取りました。当日は、宮之浦周辺であれば宿まで(?)迎えに来ていただけるみたいですが、少し遠くに宿泊していたため、ふるさと市場での待ち合わせになりました。服装は薄めの長ズボンに半袖Tシャツで臨み、飲み物はアクエリと水を500mlずつ持っていきました。集合場所から白谷雲水峡の入口までガイドさんの車で向かい、トイレを済ませて出発しました。気温は宮之浦などとさほど変わらないくらいで暑かったです。トレッキングコースはなかなか賑わっており、すれ違う人と挨拶をします。道が狭いところでは下りの人が上りの人に道を譲ります。途中途中の景観が綺麗なところでガイドさんが写真を撮ってくださり、また屋久島の森のことや島の成り立ちなど様々なことを教えてくださります。途中で飽きることはありませんでした。屋久島は全体が主に花崗岩でできており、目が粗いため滑りにくい岩が多いそうです。苔むす森に着くとリュックを下ろし、景色を楽しんだり深呼吸をしたりして屋久島の自然を堪能しました。さすがに苔むす森の辺りは半袖では少し肌寒かったですが、ハイキングで息も上がっていたためちょうど良くもありました。帰り道は上りよりも短く感じましたが、ところどころ滑るような場所もあり、油断は禁物です。行きも帰りも同じ道ですが、ガイドさんは行きと帰りとで全く違うお話をしてくださり、やはり飽きることはありませんでした。また、かなりラッキーだと思いますが、帰り道に屋久シカを2匹も見ることができました。登山口からはまたガイドさんが朝の集合場所まで送ってくださり、その場でレンタル用品を返却してツアー終了となりました。普段あまり登山はしませんが、ちょうど良い距離でしたし、ガイドさんの尺埋めトークも豊富な知識あってこそのものだと思いました。大満足です。

・ツアー終了時にその場でレンタル用品を返却する方は、レンタカーの中に靴を入れておかないと、裸足で帰ることになります。袋も持っていっておくと、リュックに入れていた私物を持ち帰るときに便利です。

Due to the cancellation of flights caused by the typhoon, we were delayed by about half a day, so we couldn't go on the Jomon Sugi trekking tour. However, they proposed an alternative plan, and we switched to the Shiratani Unsuikyo guided tour. They even picked us up from the airport and were very flexible with our schedule. I am truly grateful. The Shiratani Unsuikyo tour was incredibly fun as well. Although it rained occasionally due to the typhoon, the rain made the trees and moss sparkle, creating a very magical atmosphere as we made our way to Taiko Rock! The view of the mountains of Yakushima from Taiko Rock was breathtaking. It was a very satisfying tour. Thank you so much!

台風による飛行機欠航により、到着予定より半日ほど遅れたため、縄文杉トレッキングツアーはできませんでした。。。しかし、代替案を提案して下さり、白谷雲水峡ガイドツアーへの変更となり、ホテルまでのお迎えも空港でお迎えしてくれたり、こちらの都合に柔軟に対応して下さりました。。。ホントに感謝しかありません。。白谷雲水峡ツアーも、めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです。台風の影響もあり雨が時々降っていたのですが、その雨で木や苔がキラキラ光ってとても幻想的なコンディションで太鼓岩まで行くことができました！そして、太鼓岩からの屋久島の山々の眺めは圧感でした笑笑大満足のツアーでした。ホントにありがとうございました。

I participated with my two children. There were moments when I felt like giving up, but thanks to our experienced guide who kept a steady pace without slowing down in a good way, I was able to motivate myself to keep going! I am grateful that the guide responded immediately when my shoe broke. I finally got to see Jomon Sugi, which was a long-held dream!

子供2人と参加しました。途中で気持ちが萎えそうになりましたが、ガイドさんがベテランで最後まで歩けるように良い意味でペースを落とさずに進んでくれたおかげで頑張らなくちゃ！と、自分を鼓舞して進めました。途中、靴が壊れた時にガイドさんがすぐに対応して下さり感謝しています。縄文杉が見れて念願叶いました！

Due to the impact of the typhoon the previous day, it was uncertain whether the tour would take place until the morning of the event. However, thanks to our guide, Mr. Tawak, who was very considerate and knowledgeable about the river's flow at different times, we were able to find a spot where we could kayak safely and enjoy the experience.

I heard that when the weather is good, the river turns an emerald green and you can go further upstream, but as promised before departure, we had plenty of fun "going as far as we could!" We also enjoyed freshly brewed coffee at a stop along the way, jumped off rocks into the river, and swam under the clear blue sky and green mountains after the typhoon. Thanks to Mr. Tawak's warm hospitality, we had a truly satisfying kayaking and river play experience.

前日の台風の影響で、当日朝までツアーが催行されるか分からない状況でしたが、ガイドの田脇さんが色々ご配慮下さり、時間ごとの川の流れを熟知されていたお陰で、私達でも漕げる場所を探してくださり、無事カヤック体験をすることができました。
天候の良い時なら川の色もエメラルドグリーンで、もっと上流まで行けたと伺いましたが、出発前の約束どおり「行けるところまで！」で充分楽しめましたし、途中上陸した場所での淹れたてコーヒーや、岩からジャンプして川に飛び込んで泳いだりと、台風一過の青空と緑の山々、田脇さんのホスピタリティ溢れるお人柄のお陰で大満足のカヤック&川遊びが体験できました。
とっても楽しかったです。ありがとうございました！

This was my third snorkeling experience on a tour, but for the first time, I received a proper lecture and was able to snorkel safely. I realized that my previous methods of snorkeling were quite dangerous.

The tour had exceptional water clarity, making it the best snorkeling experience I've had so far. Although I had trouble finding sea turtles, I was lucky to see two of them right before we left, and I even got to see them surfacing for air.

　ツアーでのシュノーケル体験は3回目ですが、初めて、ちゃんとしたレクチャーを受けて安全にシュノーケルが出来ました。
　今迄のシュノーケルのやり方は、危険だったんだなと、気づかせていただきました。

　ツアーの方は、海の透明度が抜群で、今迄で1番良いシュノーケル体験でした。ウミガメは中々見つかりませんでしたが、帰り際に立て続けに２匹も見れて、しかも海面で息継ぎする姿も見れてラッキーでした。
　

I was anxious about hiking alone and wanted to learn more about nature, so I decided to join this tour. The guide was born and raised in Yakushima, and you could really feel their love for the island as they passionately shared stories about its history, nature, and way of life.

It wasn't just about seeing Jomon Sugi; the entire day was filled with enjoyable stories from the guide, making it a tour packed with the charm of Yakushima. We were lucky with the weather and even got to see deer and monkeys.

I appreciated that they took photos for us and shared stories beyond just Yakushima, making it feel like a private tour. If you're going to Yakushima, I highly recommend Yakushima Guide Tours!

個人での登山が不安だったのと、いろいろ自然について学びたかったので、こちらのツアーを利用させていただきました。
ガイドさんは屋久島生まれ屋久島育ち、本当に屋久島を愛されていて、島の歴史、自然、生活のことを情熱的に教えていただきました。

縄文杉を見るだけではなく、丸一日、ガイドさんのお話が楽しく、屋久島の魅力がぎゅっと詰まったツアーでした。
天気にもめぐまれ、シカとサルも見れて、とてもラッキーでした。

写真を撮っていただいたり、屋久島以外の話もしたりして、プライベートツアーにしてよかったと思います。

On the first day of the Jomon Sugi hike, thanks to the guide's consideration, we smoothly boarded the hiking bus and were able to start our ascent almost first. This allowed us to enjoy the nature in a nearly private setting. The guide's explanations were clear, and they shared various stories with us. At each photo spot, they took pictures for us, creating wonderful memories.

The second day at Shiratani Unsuikyo also started early, so it was almost like a private experience.

1日目の縄文杉登山では、ガイドさんのお気遣いもあり、登山バスの乗車もスムーズに済み、ほぼ一番手で登り始めることができたので、貸切状態の自然を楽しむことができました。
ガイドさんの説明も分かりやすく、いろいろなお話をしていただきました。撮影スポットでは毎回写真を撮ってくださり、とても良い思い出になりました。
2日目の白谷雲水峡も早朝スタートだったためほぼ貸し切りでした。
とても貴重な体験をできた二日間でした。

I arrived at Yakushima on the first ferry in the morning, and since I had already scheduled a sightseeing bus tour, the rental company came to my accommodation in the evening after the tour to carefully check my shoe size and other details.

During the confirmation call, I mentioned it had been a while since I last went hiking and asked about what to prepare and snacks. They advised me to bring salt candies, so I took some with me. There was no worry about them melting, and they were easy to eat, which helped me maintain my energy!

I was concerned about keeping up with the pace since there were mostly younger people, but the guide took time to explain things like water sources, photo spots, plants, and scenery at various points. We also took breaks at the riverbed on the way back, so I didn't get as tired as I expected! I fell into a deep sleep on the return bus, but since it was a direct shuttle to the accommodation, it was quite comfortable.

屋久島入りが前日朝一のフェリーで、すぐに定期観光バスのスケジュールを入れていた為、観光バスのツアー終了後の夕方にレンタル会社の方が宿に来て下さいまして、靴のサイズなど丁寧に見て下さいました。

確認電話では、久々の登山という話をして準備物やおやつについてお尋ねしたところ、塩飴のアドバイスを頂いたので、塩飴を持参しました。
溶ける心配も無いですし、手軽に食べられて体力もなんとかもちました！

若い方ばかりでペース等、心配でしたがガイドさんが沢水の給水や写真スポットや植物、景色など所々で時間を取って説明して下さったり、帰りは河原で休憩したりと適度に休みながら進む事ができて思ったより疲れませんでした！
帰りのバスは爆睡でしたが宿まで送迎だったので楽ちんです。

For our honeymoon, we requested a private tour of Jomon Sugi as a couple. Since we don't usually exercise much, we were a bit worried, but our veteran guide kept us entertained with little stories, allowing us to enjoy the long trolley path and the challenging mountain trails. They took memorable photos at the best angles, enhancing our day of trekking not just with sightseeing points but also with various interesting stories.

The guide was friendly and engaged with other guides and climbers, creating a warm feeling of camaraderie among all the hikers.

Above all, it was clear that the guides deeply cared for Yakushima's nature. Feeling their compassion for the environment made this tour not just enjoyable as a tourist, but also inspired me to want to protect Yakushima's beautiful nature.

We fully enjoyed nature, and it became a memorable honeymoon. Thank you very much!

新婚旅行のため、夫婦で縄文杉のプライベートツアーをお願いしました。
普段あまり運動をしないので心配もありましたが、ベテランガイドさんがこまめに小話をふってくださり、長い長いトロッコ道や山道の難所も楽しく歩ききることができました。
写真スポットでの記念写真もベストなアングルでしっかり撮ってくださり、観光ポイントだけでなく様々な面白い話で一日のトレッキングを盛り上げてくださいました。

まわりのガイドさんや登山者の皆さんにも気さくに声がけされていて、登山者としてみんな仲間という温かい気持ちになりました。

何より、ガイドの皆様が屋久島の自然をとても大事にされているのが伝わりました。ガイドさんの自然への思いやりを感じ、観光として楽しむだけでなく、自分も屋久島の美しい自然を守りたいと思うようになる素敵なツアーでした。

自然を満喫し、思い出に残る新婚旅行になりました。本当にありがとうございました。

I was carefully taught how to snorkel and then entered the sea. I was able to enjoy my time in the water for a long while. I also had some underwater photos taken, which became great memories. People who come to Yakushima tend to focus on seeing Jomon Sugi, but I highly recommend the sea as well!

シュノーケリングのやり方を丁寧に教えてもらい、海に入りました。海に入っている時間も十分に長く満喫できました。水中の写真もとってもらい、良い思い出になりました。屋久島に来る人はたいてい縄文杉を見に行くことに注目しがちですが、海もオススメです！

Putting aside the content of the trekking tour, our group had one guide for seven guests. Other parties seemed to have about two to three members, with a maximum of four. At least on this schedule, we were the only party with more than five members. Since the seven of us walked in a single line, it was impossible to hear the guide's explanations at the front. Furthermore, we returned at quite a fast pace. I was a bit exhausted towards the end, and it felt like two to three members were constantly left behind. We managed to catch up with the front group during breaks, but then we would fall behind again. The trolley path is a single road, so there’s no chance of getting lost, and there are hardly any dangerous spots along the way, so being late isn't a big deal, but I walked with quite a bit of anxiety. I recommend that those who are not confident in their physical strength or are worried about their walking speed confirm this when making a reservation, and for those who are truly concerned, I do not recommend participating in this tour. I felt that having one guide for seven guests was insufficient.

トレッキングツアーの内容はさておき、我々のグループはゲスト７名に対してガイド１名でした。他のパーティーは、だいたい２，３名～多くても４名だったような気がします。少なくとも今回の日程で５名以上のパーティは我々だけでした。７名が１列になって歩きますので、当然先頭のガイドさんのお話しは全く聞こえません。さらに復路はかなりのハイペースで戻ってきました。後半少しバテたのですが、２～３名は常に置いてきぼりと言う感じで、休憩時間に先頭グループになんとか追いつきますが、また離されます。トロッコ道は１本道なので迷うこともありませんし、道中ほとんど危険な場所はありませんので、遅れてもどうってことが無いと言えば無いですが、かなり焦りながら歩きました。体力に自身のない方や歩くスピードに不安がある方は予約の際に確認されることをおすすめすると伴に、本当に心配な方にはこのツアーの参加をおすすめしません。ゲスト７名に対してガイド１名は少ないと感じました。
