Óbidos, the best-preserved Medieval Town in Portugal
Take a stroll through the narrow cobbled streets of Obidos, one of the most charming medieval towns of Portugal. Enjoy the colorful and flowered little houses, buy a beautiful souvenir from the many craft shops, have a nice break at a typical restaurant and taste the Ginjinha - a cherry liqueur served in a chocolate cup. Built inside an old fortress from the 12th century, the citadel is located on a hilltop and encircled by a giant fortified wall that you can climb to get the most amazing view.
