Start your trip from Barcelona in a comfortable bus to the mountain of Montserrat which rises majestically up to 4,051 feet (1,236 m). The rocks of Montserrat were formed by the natural cement of sand throughout the centuries. Wind and rain shaped the mountain with strange and varied forms.

Visit the Royal Basilica, which holds the famous 12th-century Romanesque carving of the Black Virgin. The Benedictine sanctuary was founded on 1025 and provides a mystical backdrop for the Virgin of Montserrat, patron Saint of Catalonia.

Enjoy 1 hour and 45 minutes worth of free time and explore Montserrat at your own pace. Visit the La Moreneta, find various archeological treasures at the Museum of Montserrat, or listen to the Escolania de Montserrat. Please make sure to consult the schedule per activity during your free time.
