Voucher redemption:
Please exchange your voucher for the ticket at the Tower of London Ticket Office.

Ticket validity:
Tickets are only valid on the date and time selected and are non-transferable.

Duration of visit:
It is recommended that guests allow at least three (3) hours to see everything.

Operating hours:

Summer (March 1 to October 31)
Tuesday to Sunday, from 09:00 until 17:30
Sunday and Monday, from 10:00 until 17:30
*Last admission is at 17:00

Winter (November 1 to February 28)

Itinerary
Please note:

The Wharf will close to the public at 19:00 (Winter).

The Jewel House Cinema will be closed on 23 and 24 March 2020.

The Chapel Royal of St. Peter ad Vincula closes during The Tower of London opening hours. It is open to visitors until 17:15 (Summer). In poor weather, access will only be possible to participants of the Yeoman Warder tours. If there is an evening service or event, the chapel will not open to visitors.

The last Yeoman Warder tour starts at 14:30 (Winter) and 15:30 (Summer). In poor weather conditions, an amended Yeoman Warder tour will be given in the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula. If the Chapel is unavailable, tours may not take place.

The Tower opens at 10:00 on March 24, 2020 to facilitate staff training.

The Tower of London will close early on May 29, 2020. Last admission will be at 16:00 and the buildings will close at 16:30. The last Yeoman Warder tour will be at 14:30. The Wharf will also close early at 17:00.

Please note:

The Medieval Palace and St. Thomas's Tower will close for 3 weeks starting September 21, 2020. This is to refresh the content and prepare for visitors.

The Tower becomes very busy during school holidays, including half terms and especially during Easter weekend. Queues may form during these periods for many parts of the tower. Guests are highly advised to arrive early.

Parking information
Please note that the Tower Hill is a vehicle free zone and there is no on-site parking facility. Parking is available at Tower Hill Coach and Car Park at 50 Lower Thames Street.

Bicycle racks can be found at Sergeant's Mess restaurant on the Wharf and behind the Tower of London shop. Bicycles attached to railings in the Wharf may be removed without notice.

    • Guests with accessibility needs are entitled to bring a carer free of charge. Complimentary tickets for the carers are only redeemable on the day of the visit.
    • Service animals are allowed in the Palace as long as they are wearing their designated jacket and with their 'Assistance Dog's (UK)' identification book.
    • Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
