I used the service both to and from the airport. My flight arriving in Cancun was delayed by about an hour, and I was very worried since I had no way to contact anyone. However, it seemed that the pickup vehicles were operating sequentially, and they were waiting at the airport exit with my name clearly displayed. I heard that the airport in Cancun doesn't have Wi-Fi (or it's hard to connect?), so I made a reservation in advance here. I'm a bit scared of encountering a scam taxi, but I was able to head to the hotel without that kind of anxiety! I think the price is about the same as local taxis!

I missed my scheduled flight at Mexico City Airport and contacted them by phone. I arrived at 8 PM on a flight that was an hour and a half later. The waiting area is located outside the Cancun Terminal 4 building, which is a bit confusing as it's several meters away (I think the security guard is preventing entry into the building). Right after exiting, I called again from inside the building (I had used the second terminal at Mexico City Airport before, where the waiting area was inside the building, just outside the exit). It was difficult to see the area where many people were waiting from the exit. Although the phone call connected, I was wearing a black jumper because it was cold at night in January, making it hard to identify me in my yellow-green and white T-shirt.

I also booked a transfer from the Cancun airport to the hotel. I arrived about 5 minutes later than the scheduled time, but it was within an acceptable range. It was great that they specified the hotel transfer time when I provided my flight details. Making a reservation in advance gives you peace of mind, so I definitely recommend it to everyone!

We didn't depart until enough people had gathered, and since we were sharing with others who were getting off at a hotel along the way to Playa del Carmen, it ultimately took 3 hours. The immigration process in Cancun took quite a long time. I'm not sure if it was because it was the peak season at the end of the year or if it's always like that, but first, there was a long line at immigration that took over an hour. After that, there was another line at customs, and depending on luck, there might be an additional luggage inspection that took over 30 minutes. After a long flight, it took about two hours from arrival, which was exhausting. Just in case, I thought about cashing some pesos, but there was a line at the only ATM at the exit... There might have been others, but I couldn't find any at that time. I had brought a small amount of US dollars, so I didn't have a problem with tips, and decided to get cash another day and head straight to the hotel. I'm really glad I booked this service. Even though it took this long from arrival, they were waiting with a nameplate (the shirt color was different from what was indicated in the voucher), and the staff was friendly. Although it was a shared ride, it wasn't too far to the hotel zone, and even if you used a taxi, the traffic in the center is the same, so this option seems more reasonable. I recommend it.

I had a 7:00 flight, and my pickup from Crystal Cancun was at 3:45. There was another group with us, making a total of four people. When I went down to the lobby five minutes early, the driver was already waiting and kept an eye on our luggage while we checked out. It depends on the hotel, but early morning checkouts usually have fewer front desk staff, and it can take longer than expected if you're waiting behind others (compared to Tokyo, the checkout process in Mexico is quite slow). To avoid keeping others waiting, I recommend going to the front desk at least ten minutes early. That said, the road to the airport is usually clear at that time, so you arrive quickly, and since the business lounge opens at 7:00, you might end up waiting for a long time in the cold airport on hard seats (laughs). Still, it's much better than rushing at the last minute, so I can recommend this service. You could call a taxi yourself, but that would require keeping some cash on hand until the last day, so this shuttle service, which only requires a tip, is probably the better option.
