I arrived around 6 PM, slightly delayed, and when I went outside, a representative from the travel service (possibly affiliated with Expedia) was waiting with a name board. Communication in English was smooth. There was also a simple standing desk near the shuttle vehicle, and the setup seemed well-organized.

I used the transfer from the resort in Playa del Carmen to the airport.

As with the outbound trip, the service itself was neither particularly good nor bad, but if I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the coordination between Veltra and the local shuttle company.

Since I was traveling with a 5-month-old infant, I requested a car seat, but it took two weeks to confirm. After spending time contacting them several times, when I arrived on the day, the car seat was, as expected, not arranged. It was too late to say anything, but that back-and-forth communication was just a waste of time.

By the way, I gave a few dollars in tips for both the outbound and return trips. Just for your reference.

I was worried about whether the pickup would go smoothly since it took two and a half hours at immigration, but a woman holding a sign with my name was waiting for me, which was a relief. The guidance to the car and boarding went smoothly, and up to that point, I was very satisfied. However, I was dropped off at the wrong hotel! Since it was a private transfer just for us and I had entered the official hotel name and address during registration, there was no room for doubt. As soon as we arrived, I was at a loss. It took several attempts to get through to the contact number, and when I finally did, I had to explain the situation to the front desk staff at the wrong hotel. They called the car back to take us to the correct hotel, but perhaps due to cultural differences, there was no apology at all. I ended up spending over 1,000 yen on tips for the unrelated hotel staff and phone charges.

I had a great experience on the way to my destination, so I booked the shuttle for my return trip as well. However, they did not come to pick me up at the scheduled time, and I couldn't reach either the regular contact number or the emergency contact number. It was the worst experience. I hardly had any cash since I was just heading home, so I couldn't take a taxi. If my host at the accommodation hadn't been kind, I might have missed my flight, and since it was late at night, I could have been in a dangerous situation. I requested a refund through VELTRA, but there was no apology or communication at all; the refund just appeared without any notice. This was truly the worst way to end my trip. The driver on the way to my destination was very kind, but there were issues because the reservation details were not properly understood, so it seems the company's system is not well organized.

I heard that the airport in Cancun doesn't have Wi-Fi (or it's hard to connect?), so I made a reservation in advance here. I'm a bit scared of encountering a scam taxi, but I was able to head to the hotel without that kind of anxiety! I think the price is about the same as local taxis!

Since my return flight was early in the morning and the hotel was far away, I requested a shuttle service here. I felt relieved because they provided the shuttle with plenty of time to spare. The van was also clean, which was great!

I also booked a transfer from the Cancun airport to the hotel. I arrived about 5 minutes later than the scheduled time, but it was within an acceptable range. It was great that they specified the hotel transfer time when I provided my flight details. Making a reservation in advance gives you peace of mind, so I definitely recommend it to everyone!

I used a shared transfer from the airport to the hotel, but for the return trip, I booked a private transfer to maximize my time on-site. (I participated in a day trip optional tour, but it took about an hour just to pick up from several hotels.) There was a bit of a delay during hotel checkout, and I was about 15 minutes late, but they waited for me, so in the end, I think it was definitely the right choice to use a private transfer.

As soon as I exited the airport, they greeted me. We departed in about 4 or 5 minutes and went straight to the hotel without stopping once. It's cheaper than a taxi, and I felt safe, so it was all good things. I definitely recommend it!

There were many similar pickup service providers loitering around the arrival exit, and I showed my reservation voucher to one of them, who then took me to their service area. I ended up waiting for nearly 30 minutes because the driver was missing. It seemed like they were trying to gather more passengers heading to downtown Cancun. In the end, I arrived at the hotel just before 3 AM.
