This was my second trip to Cancun, and since I had already visited the main tourist attractions on my first visit, I wanted to explore new places this time, which led me to Xplor.
The zip line experience was incredible, with a length of 3.8 km. It felt like there was no end to the rides, as after each zip line, you would climb a tower and zip down again. There were so many rides that I lost count of how many times I zipped down! There was even a course where you land in water, which was a lot of fun!
However, you have to grip the rope tightly, which can dig into your nails and become painful. Plus, since you're wearing a harness over your swimsuit, it can chafe a bit in the groin area (but it's manageable if you're prepared for it).
There are also other attractions like driving off-road vehicles through the jungle and navigating a boat through a cenote. I initially thought there were only about 8 to 9 activities, which seemed few, but it actually takes quite a bit of time, so I couldn't do everything in one day. Moreover, it requires a good amount of physical stamina, so it might be challenging for those who aren't in good shape.
The paths were well-maintained and easy to walk on, and the restrooms were clean. Overall, I appreciated that they preserved the natural environment.
Additionally, the buffet at the restaurant was very diverse and delicious, and the staff provided excellent service, which greatly increased my satisfaction. The showers were cold water showers.
Basically, you spend the whole day in your swimsuit, but wearing flip-flops can be dangerous, so it's essential to have shoes suitable for water activities. I was concerned about taking photos with my smartphone since it could get wet, so I opted for a photo package for around $100. They took pictures at various spots, and you receive the data later, but honestly, it was just okay. Considering the risk of my phone getting submerged or dropping it in the water, it was probably worth it. It's nice to have, but not absolutely necessary.
Even though the cost, including transportation, was quite high at just under 30,000 yen per person, I was very satisfied with the zip lines, other activities, and the delicious inclusive restaurants and cafes.
2回目のカンクンで、1回目に主要な観光地に行ってしまったので、今回は新しいところに行きたくて、エクスプロールにたどり着きました。
ジップラインは、3.8㎞？滑走しても滑走しても次があります。滑走したら塔を登ってまた滑走の繰り返し。あまりにずっと続いたので、何回滑走したのかわからなくなるほど。
途中で水に着地するコースもあり、楽しいです！
ただ、しっかりロープを握るので爪が手に食い込んで痛くなってくるし、水着にハーネスなので、股が擦れてヒリヒリします。（心づもりがあれば大丈夫なくらい）
他にもオフロードカーでジャングルを走るとか、セノーテの中をボートで進んだり、いろいろとアトラクションがあります。
8～9つくらいで、少ないと思ったのですが、結構時間がかかるので、1日で全部は回れませんでした。
というより、結構体力を使うので、元気な若者でないと体力的に難しいかも。
足元はしっかりと整備されていて歩きやすく、トイレもきれいですが、全体的には自然をしっかりと残している感じでよかったです。
また、レストランのブッフェがとてもバリエーションが豊富で美味しく、スタッフもしっかりとサービスしていて、満足度が高いです。
シャワーは水シャワーでした。
基本的には水着で1日過ごしますが、足元はビーチサンダルでは危ないので、水に入るようの靴は必須です。
水にぬれるので、スマホでの写真は危ないかな、と思い、100USドルくらいの社員を申し込みました。あちこちで写真が撮れて、あとでデータでもらえますが、、、これは、まぁイマイチ…でしたが、スマホの水没や水の底に落としてしまうリスクを考えると、仕方ないかな。あってもいいけど、なくてもいいかもくらいです。
送迎込みとは言え、一人3万円弱はかなり高いですが、ジップラインも、ほかのアクティビティも、インクルーシブのレストランやカフェも美味しくて大満足です。
バスタオルは必須です。ロッカーは1家族1つ？でめちゃくちゃ狭い。荷物はできるだけ少なめに。

I had seen cave and jungle exploration on TV and the internet, and I thought it looked interesting, but I wondered if it was safe. This exploration experience strikes a perfect balance; it's thrilling yet ensures safety, making it ideal for a genuine adventure simulation. It was a very large park where I could spend the whole day enjoying nature! There was an explanation about the park and meeting times on the bus, alternating between Spanish and English. I wasn't confident in either language, so I was a bit anxious, but once we arrived, I had no trouble and was able to enjoy myself.
The attractions have a wildness that you don't find in Japan. I especially want to ride the water slide again...! Also, lunch was a buffet with a wide variety of dishes, and it was very delicious.
By the time I experienced all the attractions, it was just the right time. I was completely satisfied after a full day of fun!

The attractions that make the most of nature are truly impressive! This is the only place where you can enjoy so many zip lines. The jeep ride is quite long! You can encounter iguanas and wildlife along the way. The swim walk was a bit cold, probably because it was February, haha. The meals were also very satisfying, making for a fun-filled day.

I had a really great time! The water slides were thrilling and the best! I recommend signing up for the photo plan! The food was also varied and really delicious! Every attraction was substantial, and the sense of satisfaction was amazing.

An adventure park in every sense of the word. My 8-year-old child was below the weight limit for the zip line, but they were allowed to ride without any issues. The other attractions were things that you wouldn't typically experience in Japan, and we had a great time from morning until evening.
I wore a swimsuit and a rash guard. Many people had water socks, but sandals that secure the ankles are perfectly fine. I was a bit worried that the plastic string on the locker key was too thin and might break. It felt like the same kind that comes with regular shopping tags...
The restaurant was delicious! I had high expectations based on other comments, and it did not disappoint; I was very satisfied. If the opening hours were a bit earlier, I think we could have taken our time to eat, but I guess the timing with the attractions is unavoidable.
What was disappointing was the wait time for the new attraction's slide. It seemed that the machine for transporting the four-person floats was broken, so they were transporting them by car, and we waited for an hour. Being in the sun drained our energy.
On the bus ride back, as we got closer to the hotel, there was loud music playing at a painful level. I thought it might be to wake up those who were sleeping so they wouldn't miss their stop, but it was quite noisy.
The price is high, but I think it's worth going at least once. Also, it seemed that for the tip, which is not a common practice for Japanese people, some people were putting it in the basket at the driver's seat.

値段は高いけど、一度は行く価値があると思います。
あと日本人にはなじみの薄い習慣のチップは、バスの運転席の籠に入れたい人は入れてるみたいな感じでした。

The multiple zip lines were fun, just as expected. However, it was tough to climb the stairs when going to the next zip line. It was nice that we could ride the jeep twice, and the courses were different. The meals were buffet-style, so I was able to eat what I liked. The juice seemed a bit watered down.

You can fully enjoy a day filled with long, exhilarating zip lines and exploring real caves while walking through water. Although it comes at a cost, I opted for the photo option that automatically captures images with a helmet chip, and I thoroughly enjoyed the attractions. To prevent losing your shoes and due to the rugged terrain of the caves, Crocs or water shoes are essential.
In Japan, many caves prohibit touching, and it's common for the pathways to be narrow, so I initially wondered if this large-scale cave was artificially created because touching is allowed here.
Meals and drinks are all-inclusive, and while it's certainly not a cheap tour, I believe it's a dynamic theme park experience that you can't find in Japan.

The main attraction is the zip line that connects various locations. There are shorter courses, but the longer ones have a bit of a wait. By the way, I got scared just before riding and ended up waiting for my friends at the bottom (it takes about an hour to go through everything, I think). However, many small children were riding, so I think it's fine. If you're scared, you can ride connected to another person.
As for the buggies, there wasn't anything like going into the water as mentioned in the introduction. Maybe it depends on the water level at the time? こちらは足の悪い人にはきつい体勢がずっと続くので気を付けてください。
飲み物と軽食がある場所はバナナやりんごがありました。飲み物はお国柄か基本的に全て甘めです。
お昼から夕方までのビュッフェレストランは
インターナショナルな料理でメキシコ料理、アメリカ、タイ何でもあって凄く良かったです！

We participated as a couple in our thirties and had a great time all day long.
Not only was there zip-lining, but the activities were packed with swimming in the river and riding buggies. For activities that don't get you wet (like zip-lining and buggies), wearing a swimsuit is perfectly fine. I wore a quick-dry T-shirt and shorts over my swimsuit, which was just right. Since you are constantly wet, I was wondering what to do with my phone, but you can buy photos for an additional fee, so I left my phone in a locker. It’s not cheap at 90 USD for the two of us, but you can take photos in various places, and the quality was quite high, so I recommend purchasing them. Some guests had their phones in waterproof pouches.
The restaurant for lunch was spacious, and everything was of high quality and delicious. There was a wide variety of options.
It's not too far from the Cancun Hotel Zone, so I highly recommend it for active travelers!

常に濡れっぱなしなので携帯電話をどうしようかと思っていましたが、写真は追加料金で買えるのでロッカーに預けたままにしておきました。２人で９０USDと安くはありませんが、いろんなところで写真が撮れますし、かなり高画質だったので買うことをお勧めします。お客さんの中には携帯を防水パックに入れて持っている人もいました。
昼食はレストランも広く、どれもかなり高クオリティで美味しかったです。種類も豊富でした。
カンクンホテルゾーンからもそこまで遠くないので、アクティブな方にはとてもおすすめです！

We visited for our honeymoon. Even as a couple in our thirties, we had a great time.
You can request photos for a fee, and I wish I had done that. Other than photos and souvenirs, there are no additional costs.
We did zip-lining and rode buggies, which can be quite tiring, so there’s a café you can use multiple times besides lunch. You can enjoy self-serve coffee and cookies there. Since we tire easily, we used this café several times. We spent most of our time in swimsuits, so it was nice to warm up there. They had La France pears at the café, and I thought it felt very international to bite into one.
The scale of the rides and experiences is something you can't imagine in Japan, and you can have a full day of fun. The tour was explained only in English, which made me a bit anxious, but I thought as long as I listened carefully to the bus pickup time, I would be fine.
The tour bus only had English speakers. We were the only Asian-looking ones, so the tour guide was very thorough and polite in explaining things until we understood.
I highly recommend Explore!

ジップラインをしてバギーに乗って…としているとかなり疲れるので昼食以外に何回でも使えるカフェがあって、セルフでコーヒーを飲んだりクッキーを食べたりできます。疲れやすいのでこのカフェは何回を使わせてもらいました。基本ずっと水着で過ごすので暖を取るのもいいと思います。カフェにラ・フランスが置いてあるので丸かじりをしました、海外っぽいなーと思いました。
乗り物や体験すべて日本では考えられないくらいの規模で丸一日遊べます。
ツアーは英語のみの説明でしたので不安でしたが、帰りの迎えのバスの時間をちゃんと聞いていたら最悪大丈夫かな、と個人的に思いました。
ツアーバスには英語圏の方たちのみ乗っていました。アジアっぽいのは私たちだけだったのでツアコンさんは私たちがわかるまでちゃんと説明してくれる方で丁寧でした。

Explore was a lot of fun, but considering there are only five attractions, I think the price is a bit high. They take photos everywhere with a camera attached to your helmet, but I feel the cost is steep. Right at the entrance, there is a sales pitch right after you enter, and everyone seems to buy there, but there were several places inside where you could sign up, and it seems you can also do it on your way out. I recommend checking before you purchase. (I believe it was around $99 for two people.)
Lunch had a wide variety and the buffet was good, but the taste was quite average. The highlight was the juice stand. I think there were about two of them, and I mistakenly thought there would be unlimited soda like cola, but instead, they offered fresh juice made from a lot of blended fruits, which was very delicious. By the way, the only snack available was cookies. I felt it would have been great to have this juice available during lunch as well, but unfortunately, during lunch, they only had soda like cola, fruit water, and sweet cappuccinos from the start.

良かったのは、ジューススタンドです。2カ所くらいあったと思うのですが、てっきりコーラなどの炭酸系が飲み放題と思いきや、沢山のフルーツをミキサーにかけて作ったフレッシュジュースだったので、とてもおいしかったです。
ちなみに、スナックはクッキーのみでした。
こちらのジュースがとてもおいしかったのでランチ時にもあると良かったと感じましたが、残念ながらランチ時はコーラなどの炭酸飲料と、フルーツウォーター、はじめから甘いカプチーノ等でした。

■Activities
The zip line was incredibly fun and exhilarating! It's an experience you can't have anywhere else, so it's worth going just for that.
The other three activities were honestly a bit underwhelming. The two cave exploration activities and the car activity got boring midway through the course.
I went during Golden Week, and the temperature was just below 30°C, so after getting soaked in the cold water, it was too chilly to stay like that. I changed out of my swimsuit around 2:30 and waited in the buffet area with a drink until the meeting time.
It seemed a bit challenging for a couple in their 30s to enjoy. On the other hand, I think families with children would have a great time!
■Food
It was very delicious! I had the impression that theme park food isn't good, so I wasn't expecting much, but there was a wide variety, and I enjoyed it. You can go in as many times as you want, so you can have lunch and also pop in for some sweets during break time.
The drink corner had smoothies, and they were all tasty! There were snacks like cookies and fruits. Since the meeting time was early, it seemed like everyone was waiting here, trying to stave off hunger until lunch opened, haha.
■Facilities
Overall, it was clean, and I felt safe using the restrooms.
The lockers aren't very spacious, so I recommend keeping your belongings to a minimum.
■Sunscreen
I heard there would be a check for biodegradable sunscreen, but there was no inspection. There was a sunscreen counter, but I wasn't sure what it was for and just walked past it.

ジップラインは最高に楽しかったし開放感がありました！他では体験できないので、これだけでも行く価値ありです。
他の3種類は正直微妙でした。洞窟の中を進む系2種、車のアクティビティはコースの途中で飽きてしまいました。
そしてGWに行ったのですが、30℃満たないくらいの気温で、冷たい水に浸かったあとそのまま過ごすのが寒くて耐えられず、、
2時半位にもう水着を着替え、集合時間までバイキングエリアでドリンクを飲んで待ってました。
30代夫婦二人がはしゃぐには難しかったようです。逆にお子様連れの方は楽しいと思います！
■食事
とてもおいしかったです！テーマパークの食事はおいしくないイメージがあり期待してなかったですが
種類も豊富で楽しめました。何度でも入れるので、ランチと、休憩時間にスイーツだけつまみに入ることもできます。
またドリンクコーナーではスムージーがありどれもおいしい！軽食はクッキーとフルーツがありました。集合時間が早いので、みんなここで空腹をごまかしながらランチが開くのを待ってた様子です笑

全体的に綺麗でトイレ等も安心して使えました。
ロッカーは広くないので荷物は最小限にすることをおすすめします
■日焼け止め

When I arrived at the meeting place on the day, I was informed that my reservation was at a different Xcaret facility. Since it was nighttime and a holiday in Japan, I couldn't confirm with the contact point, which was frustrating. I understand that inquiries can't be made at night or on holidays, so I think it would be reassuring if you could confirm the reservation in advance at the location. The facility was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed it all day long. I recommend bringing marine shoes from Japan. There are about five activities in the vast nature. They are all activities that you can't experience in Japan, and I highly recommend them. I especially loved the zip line and the jeep! If I go to Cancun again, I will definitely want to go back. The facility itself deserves five stars.

During the hotel pickup, your name will be called, and you'll receive a wristband with your destination and name on it. You'll take a bus to a location similar to a bus terminal where you'll transfer buses. There are restrooms and a small souvenir shop at the transfer point.
There are colored lines on the ground that match the color of your wristband, which can help you find your way to the next bus. However, since there are many buses, it's a good idea to ask the staff for assistance and show them your wristband; they will guide you to the correct bus.
Onboard, you'll fill out a form with the date and your name as a group. If someone doesn't have a pen, the staff will lend one and ask you to pass it around. Once you arrive, everyone will move together and hand the form to the staff at the counter for check-in. After check-in, you'll say goodbye to the staff who guided you on the bus.
Make sure to confirm the return meeting time. The return meeting place is different from the entrance, and you can easily exit after returning your helmet and wristband. 川下りは寒くて短いコースにしましたが上から落ちてくる水が綺麗でした。
手で漕ぐ筏下りは下手な人が乗ると後ろが大渋滞してました。
短いコースにしてよかったと思いました。
ハンモックのジップラインは自分で好きなハンモックの色を選んで持っていって乗れました。
スタッフさんも優しくて凄く楽しい1日になりました。

This was a trip for our honeymoon.
First, regarding the meeting point, since there is no hotel pickup, we had to make our way to the meeting location on our own, which was a bit challenging. It's best to understand how to get on and off the bus before going on the tour.
Next, about the language, it was in Spanish and English, but I found the difficulty level to be quite high. The tour was large, combined with other dolphin tour groups, so we needed to concentrate intensely on listening every time there was an announcement. The guide spoke quickly and cheerfully, so we had to pay attention. Unlike other experiences, there wasn't much of a party atmosphere; it felt more like we were on a local island ferry with Latin music playing while everyone enjoyed soft drinks. There were many families.
As for Garrafon National Park, I think it's a family-friendly facility. The zip line over the water was indeed fun. However, due to strong waves, the snorkeling and kayaking were limited to a narrow area where lifeguards could be seen. Only about one group was using the kayaks. 次に言語についてですが、スペイン語と英語になりますが、難易度はかなり高かったように思います。ツアーも他のイルカツアーの方々と一緒の大所帯のため、アナウンスがある度にリスニング並みに集中して聞く必要があります。陽気に早口でしゃべりますので、注意が必要です。そして他の体験談ほどパーティー感はなく、地元の島の連絡船でラテンミュージックが流れてみんなソフトドリンクを飲んでる感じです。ファミリー層が多いです。
ガラフォン国立公園についてですが、ファミリー向けの施設だと思います。海上のジップラインは確かに面白かったです。しかし、他のシュノーケル、カヤックについては波が強かったせいか、監視員が見える狭い範囲での利用となります。カヤックについては一組くらいしか利用してませんでした。vipラウンジもvip待遇のツアー客が多いので、そこまでvip感はありません。ブッフェも期待通りに期待以下でした。
ガラフォン国立公園は午前中でお腹いっぱいだったので、イスラ・ムヘーレスのダウンタウンに行こうとしましたが、そこまでの足がタクシーしかなく、ゴルフカートの貸し出しも公園では行ってないです。
ツアーガイドのアナウンスで14時と17時に迎えが来るとのことだったので、勿体ないけど14時の便で、早めにカンクンに帰ろうとしましたが、イルカツアーの場所に寄った後、突然イスラ・ムヘーレスのダウンタウンで全員降ろされました。自分達を含め複数の乗客はアナウンスの有った後、突然の下船に驚きつつも船を降り、一時間ほどイスラ・ムヘーレスのダウンタウンに放り出されました。
イスラ・ムヘーレスのダウンタウンはとても面白く散策には向いてますが、タイムスケジュールにも記載が無かったので、散策もほどほどに船着き場で他のツアー客を探して合流することに。ちなみに船着き場周辺のお店はかなり物価が高いです。
そして下船場所と乗船場所が別なので、それもまた不安を煽る要素となりました。
やっとの思いでツアー船に乗船したものの、またガラフォン国立公園に向かった時はもう好きにしてくれって感じでした。笑
結局17時にガラフォンに寄ってからカンクンのマリーナに到着しました。帰りの船は誕生日の方のためにお祝いがあったりとイベントはありましたが、爆睡でチップも渡さずツアー終了、マリーナからバスでホテルに帰りました。
このツアーで寄った場所は１つ１つがとても魅力的な場所ではありましたが、回る順番や方法がとても残念なものです。
イスラ・ムヘーレス、ガラフォンに行きたい方はイスラ・ムヘーレスへ船で渡った後にゴルフカートを借りてガラフォンに行くのがオススメかと思います。
スペイン語、英語がもう少しわかるならなんてことないツアーですが、初見の方には難易度が高過ぎなのが正直な感想です。日本でオプションツアーを申し込む際は、現地のツアー会社とタイムスケジュールが違う可能性があるので、安心しない方が良いです。もっとも、言語に自信がないから日本でツアーに申し込みをするのですが笑。こればっかりはベルトラさんが悪い訳でもないですし、このようなハプニングも日本ではなかなかないので、これはこれで面白かったです笑。
イスラ・ムヘーレス、ガラフォンはとてもキレイな場所で、カンクンに来たら一度は行った方がオススメです。

We used a tour for our honeymoon this time. As others have mentioned, aqua shoes are essential. They are very expensive if you buy them inside the Explore park.

写真についてですが、至るところでボタン式の自動撮影があります。高いし、説明わからないから買わなくていいや、と適当に撮影スポットを流してしまいましたが、終わった後に見たら、ちゃんと撮っておくべきでした。結局写真は買いました。またGoProを持ち込みましたが、手持ちでの撮影はNGで、クリップ式で留める、リスト、チェストストラップを使う等の対策が必要です。ヘルメットにマウントをつける場合は係員に申し出るようアナウンスがあります。その場合のマウントも自分たちで用意する必要があります。
全部で４つしかアトラクションはありませんが、日本では決して体験できないものばかりで、その一つ一つが30分以上時間のかかる内容ばかりでとても楽しかったです。

We left the Hotel Zone in Cancun around 7 AM and switched buses around 8 AM to head to Xplor. During the journey, the guide provided explanations in both Spanish and English (including details about two cafeterias and one restaurant, their operating hours, available food, and safety information for each attraction).
We paid 70 US dollars for a photo service for two people. There were designated photo spots, and we were able to take many pictures without our smartphones. The picture quality was good, so I recommend it (especially since you can't take photos while ziplining!).
The zipline experience is divided into two courses, each with seven lines. Once you start, there are no breaks until you reach the end. Each line takes just under a minute, and we finished all seven in about 30 minutes, including waiting time. The last line ends with a splash into the water, so you will definitely get wet!
I participated in a T-shirt and shorts because I didn't want to get too wet, but I recommend wearing a swimsuit. Since some paths are bumpy, I think it's best to wear sneakers that can get wet or water shoes.

As a couple with little experience traveling abroad, we were quite anxious about not having a Japanese-speaking driver or guide before our departure.
However, the guide had a great vibe and was very attentive to our limited English, which we really appreciated!
The park wasn't crowded, possibly because it was a weekday, and we were able to smoothly participate in the zip line, which was said to be busy, multiple times (though we actually only went around once since there was quite a bit of walking involved). There was enough time to enjoy each attraction at least once!
Lunch was a buffet style, allowing us to choose food that suited our tastes, and the selection was luxurious and satisfying (I enjoyed a meat-heavy burger loaded with hamburger patties and steak, haha).
There are many more things to mention, but you can enjoy experiences here that you can't have at theme parks in Japan! I highly recommend it!

I participated because it seemed like a full day of fun. I was picked up at the hotel and transported by bus to the transfer point. After switching buses, we headed to XPLOR. Upon arrival and checking in, we were given helmets and entered the caves. First, we rode something like a buggy, and the course was 5 km long. Then we headed to the zip lines. Once you ride one, you have to transfer to several others to return to the starting point, so be prepared for that. There was also a water slide along the way, and it was really fast. On the zip line that lands in the water, I lost one of my aqua shoes due to the water resistance upon landing. When I went back to the buggy for a second time, I was guided to a different course. I think the second course was more interesting. The raft is paddled with your arms. The restaurant had a wide variety of delicious food.

I used this for my honeymoon. There were many Westerners on board, but I didn't have any trouble with the guidance. I experienced all the activities at Explore, and I especially enjoyed the zip line and the hammock splash! There were so many things to do at EPLOR, like zip-lining, trying out paddle canoes, swimming in a cave, driving a jeep, taking photos, and enjoying a buffet! I thought I wouldn't want to get wet since it seemed cold, but all the attractions ended up being the type where you get wet anyway. I played in my swimsuit the whole time. Since the lockers are in the middle of the park, I could easily grab my towel and hoodie, and I could relax in a hammock while sipping warm tea. Even when I got wet, I dried off quickly, so I didn't mind the cold too much.
I thought I might have extra time since I was staying all day, but after experiencing all the attractions and wanting to zip-line one more time before leaving, time flew by. I had planned to eat snacks and drink tea at the restaurant and then leisurely look at souvenirs before heading home, but there wasn't even time for that. However, I made sure to enjoy myself until just before the meeting time, so I left without any regrets!
If you pay around 7,000 yen, you can download all the photos taken throughout the park later. At first, I was playing with my phone hanging around my neck, but it was cumbersome, and since I could take photos with the machines, it was much easier to play hands-free.

1日中滞在するから時間が余るかと思ったけど、全部のアトラクションを体験して、帰る前にジップラインをもう一度…ってしてたらあっという間に時間は過ぎてしまいました。レストラン会場でお菓子食べてお茶してその後お土産をゆっくり見てから帰ろうと思ってたのにそんな時間がないくらい。でも悔いが残らないように集合時間ギリギリまで楽しんで帰りました！
7000円くらい払えばパークの至る所で撮った写真のデータを後で全部ダウンロードできます。最初はスマホを首からぶら下げて遊んでたけど、邪魔だし機械で写真撮れるし、手ぶらで遊んだ方が楽でした。
