Koba and Tulum may not be as famous as Chichen Itza, but both have their own unique atmosphere and are definitely worth visiting.

I was particularly excited at Koba as the ruins kept coming into view while riding my bike through the trees. I don't think there are many archaeological sites where you can explore while cycling.

The cenote was also amazing; the stalactites in the cave were simply stunning. It was early March, but the water wasn't too cold, and I was able to swim comfortably.

Ricardo was a great guide as well. Since there were only a few of us, he was flexible and accommodating to requests like wanting to stop by a convenience store.

I participated on a weekday in July. The pickup time was notified the day before. We were scheduled for a 7:25 pickup, but the driver arrived around 8:00. After picking up other participants at hotels and around the city, we transferred buses and headed to the Tulum ruins. The bus was a large tour bus and was nearly full. We picked up participants at a couple of locations along the way. The streets were congested, and it took quite a bit of time.

We arrived at the Tulum ruins at 11:30, which was a hot time, making the visit quite tough. The guide's explanation lasted 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of free time, but standing in the blazing sun during the explanation was challenging, so honestly, I wished for 60 minutes of free time instead. Due to the short visit time, many participants were late for the meeting time, causing a delay in departure.

Next, we had a lunch buffet at a restaurant attached to a cenote. The time was 14:00, and I was very hungry. Drinks were not included, and a bottle of water cost 50 pesos. We then listened to a shaman's talk, but this was also long in the hot sun, which was exhausting. We had about 30 minutes to enter the cenote. While it was nice to cool down, we had to wait in the heat until the bus opened again for the meeting time.

It seems they aimed to enter the Cobá ruins just before the 16:00 gate closing time. We arrived exactly at 16:00, rented bicycles, and had 60 minutes of free time. The Cobá ruins are vast and seem to be less restored, making it a highly recommended place for ruin enthusiasts.

Next, we headed to Playa del Carmen, arriving around 19:20. We had 45 minutes of free time. We returned to our hotel in Cancun after 21:30. This tour is quite exhausting, so it's better to participate with that in mind.

Although it was advertised as an English guide, since 90% of the participants were from Spanish-speaking countries, most of the explanations were in Spanish, and they mixed both languages, which made it tiring to understand.

It's good that you can visit various places for a low price, but the quality reflects the low cost.

次にシャーマンの話を聞きましたが、これも炎天下で話が長く、しんどかったです。
セノーテに入るのは30分ほど。暑い身体をクールダウン出来ますが、集合時間まではバスを開けてくれないので、これもまた炎天下で待つことになります。
何事も早めの行動が損です。
コバ遺跡に16時のゲートが閉まる時間を狙って入場しているようです。16時ちょうどに着き、自転車を借りて60分の自由行動でした。
コバ遺跡は広く、修復があまりされていないようで、遺跡好きにはとてもおすすめの場所です。
次にプラヤデルカルメンに行きます。到着は19:20頃でした。自由行動は45分です。
カンクンのホテルに帰ってきたのは21:30すぎです。
かなりヘトヘトになるツアーですので覚悟の上参加した方が良いです。
また英語ガイドとありますが、参加者の9割がスペイン語圏の方だったためか、ほぼスペイン語での解説がされますし、スペイン語と英語とごちゃ混ぜでしゃべられるので、聞き取りにも疲れました。

安く色々行けるので良いですが、安いだけあるなぁというクオリティのツアーです。

On the day of the tour, there were many participants, and we traveled in a large bus. Since there was no one sitting next to me, the journey was comfortable throughout. The Tulum ruins were breathtaking, just as shown in the photos. There was a bit of algae, but the weather was nice, and I was deeply moved by the beautiful scenery.

The interaction with the Mayan people was limited to a ceremony, but the cenote located nearby was also wonderful. When visiting famous cenotes, there can be too many people at certain times, making it difficult to swim or take a leisurely look around. However, the cenote we visited on this tour allowed us to float and relax. The water was filled with fish, creating an atmosphere that was quite unique.

As for the Cobá ruins, we explored them by bicycle. Riding a bike to the scattered ruins on the site was refreshing and sparked my sense of adventure. The famous large pyramid was even bigger than I had imagined, and I was a bit moved by it. I was able to sit on a nearby log for about ten minutes and soak in the view in front of me.

I was a bit worried because the price was low, and the guide was in English, but it turned out to be a tour that I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend it!

マヤ民族との交流は儀式のみでしたが、そこに併設されたセノーテがまたよかったです。有名どころのセノーテに行くと時間によっては人が多すぎて泳げなかったり、ゆっくりと見れなかったりするのですが、このツアーで行くセノーテはゆっくりとプカプカ浮いていられます。水中は魚だらけでしたが、普段味わえないような雰囲気でした。
そしてコバ遺跡はなんと自転車で周ります。自転車で敷地内に点在する遺跡に向かうのが新鮮で、冒険心を駆り立てられました。
有名な巨大ピラミッドですが、創造よりも大きく、少し感動しました。10分ほど、近くにあった丸太に座って目の前の光景に浸ることができました。
価格が安く少々心配でしたし、英語ガイドだったのですが、十分楽しめるツアーでした。おすすめです！
