The San Francisco Dungeon brings together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages and scenes in a truly unique and exciting walkthrough.
Visit the San Francisco Dungeon for a 60-minute journey through San Francisco's past from the Gold Rush to Alcatraz. You and your companions will walk through the Dungeon, moving from show to show and guided by a professional actor. All shows are based on real San Francisco history and legends; and features 200 years of history and authentic storytelling. You'll get up close and personal with sinister characters like Sam Roberts, the leader of the Gangs of San Francisco, and the infamous Miss Piggott and her partner-in-crime, Shanghai Kelly.

Hours & Days of Operation: Monday - Thursday, Sunday - 12:00 to 19:00 Friday and Saturday - 11:00 to 20:00 Shows begin every half hour, from open to last entry. Each show runs for 60 minutes. How to get to The San Francisco Dungeon:
Public Transport Once you’ve made it into San Francisco, you can get to Fisherman’s Wharf using MUNI services. The following lines service the Fisherman’s Wharf area: • F-Market & Wharves • Powell/Hyde Cable Car • Powell/Mason Cable Car • 19-Po ockton • 39-Coit • 47-Van Ness • 49-Mission-Van Ness On Foot The San Francisco Dungeon is right next door to Madame Tussauds on Jefferson Street (between Taylor St and Mason St). Car or Coach There are several parking lots and garages in the Fisherman’s Wharf area that are just a short walk away from the attraction. |

- This activity is wheelchair accessible.
- Children of all ages can participate in this activity.
- Navigating around the Dungeon will be mainly via level pathways. However due to the nature of the attraction some floor surfaces are uneven. Access is also gained via low gradient slopes, a specialized wheel chair lift (restrictions apply) and a stair climber (restrictions apply) to the various levels of the attraction.
- Pregnant guests are welcome to visit the Dungeon at any time during their pregnancy and can take part in all nine (9) shows in our tour, however those expecting should not board Shanghai Kelly's Show as a precaution.
- Due to width and weight restrictions throughout the attraction, The San Francisco Dungeon is not accessible for guests with Mobility Scooters.
- There are areas of the Dungeon that contain strobe lighting which may affect those suffering from photosensitive epilepsy.
- At the San Francisco Dungeon due to our restriction with our wheelchair user lifts we are at times unable to admit electronic wheelchairs to a weight and width restriction. The wheelchair and person must weigh under 600 pounds (330kg) and the chair cannot extend the width of 27 inches.
The San Francisco Dungeon + Madame Tussauds Admission- For security reasons, large bags or luggage are not permitted at Madame Tussauds. No weapons or firearms of any kind are also allowed in the premises.
- No animals or pets are permitted into Madame Tussauds, with the exception of Service Animals.
- Eating and drinking are not permitted at Madame Tussauds. All guests will be asked to finish any food or beverages before entering the attraction. No outside food or beverages allowed inside the attraction. Concessions (i.e. soda pop, candy, water, juice, etc.) are sold inside.
