• Circle Island Experience: 75 minutes flight + 25-min landing at Kualoa Ranch | Route South, East, North & West shores | Highlights: Waikiki, Diamond Head, Sacred Falls, Ka’a’awa Valley, Ko‘olau mountains, Kaneohe Bay, North Shore, Pearl Harbor, Kaena Point, Yokohama Bay, Makaha valleys & Ko Olina.

What is the seating like in the helicopter?

In the Bell 407, seating is set up like an executive style, similar to a limousine. One passenger sits in the front with the pilot, and five passengers sit in the back. The back seats are arranged with two facing three, allowing passengers to interact easily.

Seating policy

• Seating arrangement: Weight and balance of helicopters is an important part of safety. The seating is assigned based on weight and balance following FAA guidelines.
• Weight Policy:An Extra Seat fee applies to guests weighing 270 lbs and over for weight and balance reasons. Guests buying an extra seat will get a window seat.
• Upgrades: For an extra charge, you can upgrade to a Window Seat or a Co-Pilot Seat. The co-pilot seat is in the front with the pilot. A Window Seat is next to a window or in the front with a view out the windshield, but the passenger must meet the FAA weight and balance rules. If Paradise Helicopters cannot accommodate a seat upgrade due to weight and balance requirements for your flight (or any other reason), they will refund the additional fee.
• Children Policy: Children under the age of two (2) fly free when seated in the lap of a paying adult – proof of age required for lap children under two (2). Children 24 months and over require an individual full-fare seat.

How to get there?

The Heliport at Kalaeloa Airport in Kapolei, West Oahu, is ideal for Ko Olina Resorts guests, just a 15-minute drive away. If you're staying in Waikiki, expect a drive of about 50-60 minutes.

• Helicopter tours are one of the most popular things to do in Hawaii. We highly recommend making your reservation in advance, at least 5-10 days prior to your arrival
• The pilots consult weather patterns daily and our team monitors weather conditions constantly. If you are worried about the weather, we recommend booking your flight for early in your Hawaiian vacation so if the weather doesn’t cooperate you can reschedule for another day.
• What to wear: Please wear dark-colored clothing. Lighter clothing will cause a reflection in any windows and show up in your photos as well as the photos of other guests.
• We recommend removing earrings as they can interfere with the seal of your headset causing discomfort and decreased functionality of the earpieces.
• To prevent altitude-related health issues, guests should not go SCUBA diving less than 24 hours before their flight departure time.
