Okonomiyaki is also commonly referred to as a savory Japanese pancake. It is made with a batter with cabbage and topped with various ingredients such as meat, seafood and cheese. The name "okonomi" means "to one's liking." Osaka is one of the cities in Japan known for this popular dish!
Mix the batter and use a special flipper to cook up the savory and hearty Osaka soul food, okonomiyaki! You will also make miso soup to accompany your hearty meal! Vegetarian, Muslim-friendly adjustments can be made so everyone can enjoy their own okonomiyaki.
Once your okonomiyaki is cooked up, drizzle it with sauce, mayo, bonito flakes and seaweed according to your preference. Be careful, as it would be piping hot but delicious!
